Objective:
To explore the association between meat consumption and anxiety symptoms in first year junior high school students in Yunnan Province, and to provide theoretical support for preventing and relieving anxiety symptoms in junior high school students.
Methods:
From October to December 2022, a random cluster sampling method was used to select 8 500 first year junior high school students from 11 counties in Yunnan Province as the survey subjects for a questionnaire survey. The study used Food Frequency Questionnaire and the Chinese version of the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale-21 (DASS-21) to assess the meat consumption and anxiety symptoms of junior high school students. The distribution differences in anxiety symptoms among first year junior high school students with different demographic characteristics were analyzed statistically by using the Chi-square test, and the association between meat consumption and anxiety symptoms in students was analyzed by using a generalized linear model.
Results:
The detection rate of anxiety symptoms was 48.47%. After controlling for demographic variables and confounding factors, the consumption of livestock meat, poultry meat, processed meat, cured meat, barbecued meat and raw skin meat was statistically significant with anxiety symptoms ( β =-0.05, 0.04, 0.04, 0.08, 0.14, 0.17, all P <0.05). Stratified by ethnicity, The consumption of livestock meat, cured meat and barbecue was statistically correlated with anxiety symptoms in Han adolescents ( β =-0.07, 0.14, 0.22 ); the consumption of processed meat and raw skin meat was statistically correlated with anxiety symptoms in ethnic minority adolescents ( β =0.08, 0.18) (all P <0.05).
Conclusions
There is a statistical association between meat comsumption and the risk of anxiety symptoms in first year junior high school students in Yunnan Province. Guidance on meat consumption should be strengthened to prevent the occurrence of anxiety symptoms.

Acute ischemic stroke(AIS)is associated with high mortality and disability rates, presenting a substantial challenge to global public health challenge.Intravenous thrombolysis(IVT)is recognized as a cornerstone of early AIS treatment and is recommended as the standard therapeutic approach by both national and international guidelines. However, the clinical efficacy of IVT remains suboptimal due to several limitations, including a narrow therapeutic time window and the inevitable activation of the coagulation system and platelet aggregagation during thrombolysis. These factors may contribute to adverse outcomes such as early neurological deterioration(END)and vascular re-occlusion.Antiplatelet therapy(APT),which inhibits platelet aggregations, reduces microthrombus formation, and stabilizes the vascular endothelium with multifaceted mechanisms, has emerged as a promising adjunctive strategy to IVT,offering potential synergistic effects. This review summarized the latest evidence from both domestic and international studies, focusing on the mechanisms of APT,recent clinical advancements in IVT combined with APT,and the safety and efficacy of APT administration at different time windows relative to IVT.Emphasis is placed on the influence of various antiplatelet agents, dosing regimens, and initiation timing on therapeutic outcomes, alongside a comprehensive evaluation in the context of current guideline recommendations and clinical practice.Current guidelines recommend initiating APT 24 h after IVT,following imaging confirmation to exclude the risk of intracranial hemorrhage. However, the efficacy and safety of earlier APT initiation remain inconclusive.Individualized treatment strategies, such as early administration of low-dose,short-acting APT or combination therapy in specific patient subgroups, may effectively balance therapeutic benefits and risks. The adjunctive use of APT in IVT holds promise for enhancing efficacy and improving clinical outcomes, but precise stratification of safety and efficacy is essential.Future research should focus on optimizing combination IVT and APT strategies through individualized patient profiling, appropriate drug selection, and dynamic imaging monitoring to achieve precision management in AIS treatment.

Objective:To evaluate value of CT perfusion in evaluating the efficacy of different vascular reconstruction methods in the treatment of adult ischemic moyamoya disease. Methods:The clinical data of 80 adult patients with moyamoya disease with ischemic blood type who received revascularization in the Affiliated Hospital of Jining Medical University from February 2019 to February 2023 were retrospectively analyzed, including 43 patients who received superficial temporal arterio-middle cerebral artery anastomosis (direct group) and 37 patients who received brain-dural arterio-artery vascularization (indirect group). The improvement of clinical symptoms, Modified Rankin Scale (mRS) Score, collateral vessels and CTP parameters were compared between the two groups. Results:The improvement of clinical symptoms in the direct group was better than that in the indirect group ( P<0.05), and the significant remission rate was significantly higher than that in the indirect group [86.0%(37/43) vs 59.5%(22/37), χ 2=7.262, P=0.007]. The postoperative mRS score in the direct group was significantly lower than that before surgery [0(0, 1) vs 1(1, 2), Z=5.550, P<0.001]. The score of mRS After surgery in the indirect group was significantly lower than that before surgery [0(0, 1) vs 1(1, 2), Z=4.281, P<0.001], but there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups ( P>0.05). There was no significant difference in digital subtraction angiography (DSA) collateral vessel formation between the two groups ( P>0.05). The CTP parameters of the two groups before and after surgery were consistent between observers and within observers [intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) range 0.88-0.94]. In the operation area, the relative cerebral blood flow (rCBF) after surgery was significantly increased, and the relative time to peak (rTTP) and relative mean transit time (rMTT) were significantly decreased in both groups, with statistical significance ( P<0.05). In the ipsilateral basal ganglia and frontal lobe, rCBF in the direct group was significantly increased, rTTP and rMTT were significantly decreased, and the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05), while there were no statistically significant differences in parameters in the indirect group (all P>0.05). The changes of rCBF, rTTP and rMTT in the operative area in the direct group were better than those in the indirect group, and the changes of rCBF, rTTP and rCBF in the basal ganglia and frontal lobe were better than those in the indirect group, with statistical significance (all P<0.05), while there were no statistically significant differences in the remaining parameters (all P>0.05). Conclusions:CT perfusion is of great value in evaluating the difference of clinical symptom improvement in the treatment of adult ischemic moyamoya disease with different vascular reconstruction methods.

Porcine arthritis, one of the common chronic diseases in large-scale pig farms, can signifi-cantly reduce the production performance of meat pigs.In this study,a strain of Haemophilus pa-rasuis(HPS)was isolated from the joint fluid of a lame pig.The HPS was analyzed in terms of se-rotypes,virulence genes, and resistance genes.Additionally,it was treated with sensitive antibiotics to provide a theoretical basis for the comprehensive prevention and treatment of arthritis in meat pigs in future production settings.A strain of HPS type 14 was isolated from the joint fluid of dis-eased pigs. The HPS isolate demonstrated sensitivity to β-lactams and tetracyclines, while florfeni-col and polymyxin effectively inhibited its growth at low concentrations. However, the bacteria ex-hibited resistance to sulfonamides and ciprofloxacin. The treatment of affected pigs with clinical ar-thritis using doxycycline and enrofloxacin injections proved effective.Compared to the infected group,in which the sick pigs experienced difficulty flexing their carpal and tarsal joints and exhibi-ted significant lameness, the pigs in the treatment group showed marked improvement.Their joints were only slightly swollen, and the clinical symptoms of arthropathy were alleviated.

Objective:To investigate the clinical value of 18F-NaF PET/CT coronary plague imaging in evaluating the long-term prognosis of patients with coronary artery disease (CAD). Methods:A retrospective cohort study was conducted among 54 patients (37 males and 17 females, aged (57.2±9.8) years) diagnosed with CAD from a multicenter study between September 2015 and October 2022. All patients underwent 18F-NaF PET/CT and coronary angiography (CAG) within 1 week, and the PET/CT imaging was performed at the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University. Major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) were followed up. ROC curves were established to obtain the optimal thresholds of SUV max and accumulated SUV max of all lesions of main coronary artery branches (S-SUV max) for predicting MACE. Cox proportional risk model and Kaplan-Meier method (log-rank test) were used to analyze the predictive value of PET parameters for MACE. Differences in metabolic parameters between 2 groups were compared by Mann-Whitney U test. Results:The median follow-up time of the 54 patients was 6.0(1.8, 6.6) years, and 13(24.1%) patients developed MACE, including 7 deaths, 5 myocardial infarction and 1 severe arrhythmia. S-SUV max in MACE group was significantly higher than that in the non-MACE group (2.64(2.08, 4.49) vs 1.83(0.95, 2.90); Z=-2.04, P=0.041). ROC curve showed that the optimal threshold of S-SUV max for MACE prediction was 2.05 (AUC=0.690). Multivariate Cox analysis showed that S-SUV max was a strong predictor of MACE (hazard ratio ( HR)=2.434(95% CI: 1.547-3.828), P<0.001). ROC curve showed that the optimal threshold of SUV max to predict MACE was 0.55 (AUC=0.659), and univariate Cox analysis showed that SUV max was a factor to predict MACE ( HR=10.192 (95% CI: 2.667-38.953), P=0.001). In 25 patients with incomplete revascularization (ICR), Kaplan-Meier analysis showed that the incidence of MACE in patients with positive 18F-NaF uptake (single medium stenosis (40%-70%) with SUV max≥0.55) was significantly higher than that in patients with negative 18F-NaF uptake (5/14 vs 0/11; χ2=6.07, P=0.014). Conclusions:18F-NaF PET/CT can be used as an independent predictor of MACE in patients with CAD and can quantitatively assess the long-term progression of moderate coronary artery stenosis. In the future, it is expected to be a new non-invasive way to guide the revascularization treatment decision of multi-vessel CAD.

Objective:To investigate the epidemiological and genetic characteristics of hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) caused by coxsackievirus A6 (CVA6) in Xi′an city from 2021 to 2023.Methods:Collected clinical cases of HFMD, epidemiological information and samples were obtained. The specimens were tested by the real-time RT-PCR for enterovirus A71(EVA71), CVA16, CVA6 and CVA10, respectively. The VP1 regions of CVA6 were amplified and sequenced, MEGA X was used for phylogenetic analysis. Results:From 2021 to 2023, a total of 1 393 HFMD samples were collected, 1 106 (79.40%, 1 106/1 393) of which were positive for enteroviruses. The proportions of EVA71, CVA16, CVA6 and CVA10 were 0.45% (5/1 106), 16.64% (184/1 106), 72.42% (801/1 106) and 2.17% (24/1 106). A total of 801 HFMD cases tested positive for CAV6, including 783 mild cases and 18 severe cases, mainly in children aged ≤5 years (86.02%, 689/801), with a male/female ratio of 1.49∶1. The composition ratio of CVA6 infection differed with year(χ 2=332.62, P<0.01), and the highest composition ratio of CVA6 was in 2023 (91.01%, 638/701). The nucleotide and amino acid similarities in the VP1 region of Xi′an strains of CVA6 were 92.4%-99.8% and 98.3%-100.0%, respectively. Compared with the CVA6 prototype strain(Gdula), the nucleotide and amino acid similarities in the VP1 region of Xi′an strains were 82.2%-84.0% and 95.4%-96.0%, respectively, and there were 18 amino acid mutations in different degrees. Based on the phylogenetic analysis of VP1 region sequences, the CVA6 strains in Xi′an city from 2021 to 2023 belonged to D3a subtype, and could be divided into two clusters with 18 strains in cluster 1 while two strain in cluster 2. Conclusions:The sub-genotype D3a of CVA6 is the predominant virus causing HFMD in Xi′an city from 2021 to 2023, and there are two transmission chains. The monitoring and prevention of CVA6 should be strengthened.
