Objective: To understand the nutritional literacy level and associated factors of primary and secondary school students in Beijing, so as to provide a scientific basis for improving student nutrition. Methods: From October 2022 to May 2023, a multi stage cluster random sampling method was employed to select a total of 14 568 primary, junior and senior high school students from 16 districts (ecluding the Economic Technological Development area) in Beijing. Through a survey questionnaire on nutritional literacy and dietary hehavior of school age children, basic information as well as data on nutritional literacy levels across four dimensions:nutrition related knowledge concepts, food selection, food preparation, and food intake dimensions were obtained. The Wilcoxon rank sum test, Kruskal-Wallis test, Spearman correlation analysis, Chi square test and binary Logistic regression were used for the analysis. Results: The median total score of nutritional literacy among primary and secondary school students in Beijing was 68.8. Approximately 26.0% of primary and secondary school students achieved nutritional literacy standards. The median scores and rates of meeting the standards for nutrition related knowledge concepts, food selection, food preparation and food intake dimensions were 23.0, 42.1%; 17.0, 27.4%; 6.5, 33.5%; 23.0, 33.3%, respectively. There were positive correlations between all pairs of the four dimensions ( r=0.33-0.49, P <0.05). The results of multiple Logistic regression analysis showed that primary school students, junior high school students, female students, suburban students, caregivers with a college education level and a bachelor s degree or above were the positive arrelation factors that promoted the achievement of nutritional literacy standards ( OR =2.21, 1.39, 1.18, 1.27, 1.42, 1.66, P <0.05). Conclusion The literacy level of primary and secondary school students in Beijing needs to be significantly improved. School stage, gender, region and caregiver s education level are associated factors.

Objective:To explore the chain mediating effect of anxiety and flow experience on perceived stress and mobile phone addiction in nursing college students.Methods:In December 2021, a cross-sectional design survey was conducted on 4 179 freshmen and sophomores in a nursing college in Heilongjiang Province. The Chinese perceived stress scale, generalized anxiety disorder-7, flow state scale, and mobile phone addiction tendency scale were selected separately to assess perceived stress, anxiety symptoms, flow experience and mobile phone addiction. SPSS 26.0 software was used for descriptive analysis, independent sample t-test, Spearman correlation analysis, and AMOS 24.0 software was used for mediating effect test. Results:(1) Among the 3 050 nursing students, there were 714(23.41%) students who were addicted to mobile phones. (2) Spearman correlation analysis indicated that perceived stress(27.31±9.56) was positively correlated with anxiety(7.00(1.00, 10.00), r=0.441, P<0.05), flow experience((12.00±3.40), r=0.517, P<0.05), and mobile phone addiction((42.42±13.05), r=0.476, P<0.05).Anxiety was positively correlated with flow experience ( r=0.430, P<0.01) and mobile phone addiction ( r=0.538, P<0.01).Flow experience was positively correlated with mobile phone addiction ( r=0.490, P<0.01). (3) Anxiety and flow experience played seperate mediating and chain mediating roles between perceived stress and mobile phone addiction, accounting for 26.06%(0.165/0.633), 23.54%(0.149/0.633) and 3.48%(0.022/0.633) of the total effect. Conclusion:Perceived stress not only directly affects the mobile phone addiction of nursing students, but also indirectly affects mobile phone addiction through the independent and chain mediating effects of anxiety and flow experience.

OBJECTIVE To study the relationship between serum CC type chemotactic factor 2(CCL2),CC type chemotactic factor 18(CCL18) and clinicopathological parameters and prognosis of patients with glottic carcinoma. METHODS A total of 168 glottic carcinoma patients admitted to Handan Central Hospital and Hebei Engineering University Affiliated Hospital from August 2015 to December 2018 were selected as the research subjects. The receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve was used to determine the optimal cut-off points for serum CCL2 and CCL18. Based on this,patients were divided into CCL2 high expression group and low expression group,CCL18 high expression group and low expression group. The relationship between levels of serum CCL2 and CCL18 and clinical pathological parameters of glottic carcinoma patients was analyzed. Kaplan-Meier curve and Log Rank x2 test were used to analyze the 5-year disease-free survival rate of serum CCL2 high/low expression group and CCL18 high/low expression group. Cox regression model was used to analyze the influencing factors of glottic carcinoma prognosis,and the relationship between serum CCL2,CCL18 expression and tumor recurrence/metastasis was analyzed. RESULTS The optimal cut-off points for CCL2 and CCL18 calculated based on the ROC curve were 100.81 and 218.99 pg/ml,respectively. Compared with the low expression groups of CCL2 and CCL18,the high expression groups of CCL2 and CCL18 showed a significant increase in the proportion of T3-T4a,N1-N3 stages,and tumor low differentiation(P<0.05). Of the 168 glottic carcinoma patients,there were 160 patients followed up for 5 years and 8 patients lost for follow-up. There were 67 patients experienced recurrence or metastasis,and 39 patients died due to recurrence or metastasis. The tumor recurrence or metastasis rate was 41.88％(67/160),and the disease-free survival rate was 58.13％(93/160). Kaplan-Meier survival curve analysis showed that the 5-year disease-free survival rate of the high expression group of serum CCL2 and CCL18 was significantly lower than that of the low expression group of serum CCL2 and CCL18(P<0.05). Cox regression analysis showed that elevated T staging,cervical lymph node recurrence,elevated N staging,local recurrence,high expression of CCL2 and CCL18 were risk factors for poor prognosis in glottic carcinoma(P<0.05). For analysis the relationship between serum CCL2 and CCL18 expression and tumor recurrence or metastasis,it was found that when both CCL2 and CCL18 were highly expressed,the recurrence or metastasis rate was significantly higher than when both CCL2 and CCL18 were lowly expressed,CCL2 was lowly expressed and CCL18 was highly expressed,and CCL2 was highly expressed and CCL18 was lowly expressed,and the differences were statistically significant(x2=10.450,P=0.015). CONCLUSION The high expression of serum CCL2 and CCL18 in patients with glottic carcinoma is significantly correlated with T stage,N stage,tumor low differentiation,and poor prognosis.

Objective:To investigate the feasibility of a three-dimensional no new U-Net (3D nnU-Net) deep learning (DL) network for the automatic segmentation of colorectal cancer (CRC) based on abdominal CT images.Methods:This was a cross-sectional study. From January 2018 to May 2023, a total of 2180 primary CRC patients, confirmed by pathology at the Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (center 1, n=777), Nanfang Hospital, Southern Medical University (center 2, n=732), and Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital (center 3, n=671), were enrolled in this retrospective study. The baseline abdominal CT examination of each patient was conducted using CT equipment from 7 different models across 4 vendors, at the 3 centers, encompassing both the arterial phase (AP) and venous phase (VP). Two radiologists manually delineated the volume of interest to circumscribe the entire tumors in dual-enhanced phase CT images. The CT data of CRC patients from center 1 and center 3 were merged and divided into a training set ( n=1 159) and a validation set ( n=289) using a weighted random method with a ratio of 4∶1. The patients from center 2 were used as an independent external test set ( n=732). The 3D nnU-Net segmentation model was trained and tested. Using manually annotated label data as the benchmark, segmentation performance of the model was evaluated based on different phases and tumor locations. The segmentation coverage rate (SCR), Dice similarity coefficient (DSC), recall (REC), precision (PRE), F1-score, and 95% Hausdorff distance (HD 95) were calculated. The mean manual segmentation time and the mean automatic time were compared using independent samples t-test. Results:In the independent external test set, the performance of the 3D nnU-Net model based on the AP CT images was superior to that based on the VP CT images. On the AP images, the SCR, DSC, REC, PRE, F1-score, and HD 95 were 0.865, 0.714, 0.716, 0.736, 0.714, and 27.228, respectively; on the VP images, they were 0.834, 0.679, 0.710, 0.675, 0.679, and 29.358, respectively. The model achieved the best performance on right-sided colon cancer, with SCR, DSC, REC, PRE, F1-score, and HD95 on the AP CT images at 0.901, 0.775, 0.780, 0.787, 0.775, and 21.793, respectively. Next were left-sided colon cancer and rectal cancer, while the segmentation performance for transverse colon cancer was the worst (SCR, DSC, REC, PRE, F1-score, and HD 95 were 0.731, 0.631, 0.641, 0.630, 0.631 and 38.721, respectively). The automatic segmentation time on a single phase was (1.0±0.3) min, while the manual segmentation time was (17.5±6.0) min ( t=128.24, P<0.001). Conclusions:After training and validating on a dataset from multiple centers with various CT scanner vendors, the 3D nnU-Net DL model demonstrates the capability to automatically segment CRC based on abdominal CT images, while also showcasing commendable robustness and generalization ability.

AIM:To explore the therapeutic effect and possible molecular mechanisms of prednisone combined with icariin(ICA)on hormone resistant nephrotic syndrome(SRNS).METHODS:In the in vi-vo experiment,rats were divided into control group,SRNS group,prednisone group,and P+I group.Each group was given corresponding drugs for 6 weeks.Detection of 24-hour urinary protein in rats using CBB;The blood biochemistry analyzer de-tects rat albumin,total cholesterol,triglycerides,creatinine,and urea nitrogen;HE and Masson were used to detect morphological changes in rat kidney tissue;Immunohistochemical detection of GR-α,GR-β,NLRP3,caspase-1,GSDMD,IL-1β.In the in vi-tro experiment,HK-2 cell injury model with doxoru-bicin,divided into control group,SRNS group,pred-nisone group,P+l group.GR-α,GR-β,NLRP3,cas-pase-1,GSDMD were detected by Rt-PCR and West-ern blot.RESULTS:In the in vivo experiment,com-pared with the control group,the SRNS group showed weight loss,increased 24-hour urine pro-tein,decreased albumin,increased total cholester-ol,triglycerides,creatinine,and urea nitrogen,renal tubular atrophy,increased renal interstitial area,sig-nificant infiltration of inflammatory cells,fibrous tis-sue proliferation,and GR-β,NLRP3,caspase-1,GSD-MD,IL-1 β in renal tissue decreased(P＜0.01);Com-pared with the SRNS group,the combined group showed weight gain,decreased 24-hour urine pro-tein,increased albumin,decreased total cholester-ol,triglycerides,creatinine,and urea nitrogen,re-duced renal tubular atrophy,reduced interstitial in-flammatory cell infiltration,reduced fibrosis,and and GR-α,NLRP3,caspase-1,GSDMD in renal tissue decreased increased(P＜0.01).In vitro experiments,compared with the control group,the model group showed GR-β,NLRP3,caspase-1,and GSDMD in-creased(P＜0.01),GR-α decreased(P＜0.01);Com-pared with the SRNS group,GR-β,NLRP3,caspase-1,and GSDMD decreased(P＜0.01),GR-α increased in the P+I group.CONCLUSION:The combination of prednisone and ICA has a protective effect on the kidneys of SRNS rats and can improve the therapeu-tic effect.The mechanism may be related to the NL-RP3/Caspase-1/GSDMD pathway.

Diabetic retinopathy(DR)is a common ocular chronic microvascular complication of diabetes mellitus and is the leading blinding fundus disease in people over 40 years of age.Current studies have shown that neuroglial vascular u-nit(NGVU)injury causes a variety of characteristic fundus changes in DR patients,including exudation,cotton wool spots,microangioma,bleeding,and neovascularization.Recent studies have confirmed that retinal NGVU injury in DR pa-tients occurs before retinal microangiopathy and is closely related to impaired visual function,so NGVU is expected to be a potential therapeutic target for the prevention and treatment of early DR in the future.In this paper,the research progress on the relationship between NGVU and DR treatment is reviewed,intending to provide new research directions for the pre-vention and intervention of early DR progression.

GPCRs are the largest membrane protein receptor superfamily in the human body, with more than 800 isoforms, and approximately 35% of Food and Drug Administration-approved and marketed drugs currently target GPCRs for the treatment of a wide range of diseases, for heart failure (beta-adrenergic receptors), peptic ulcer (histamine receptors), prostate cancer (gonadotropin receptors), hypertension (adrenergic and angiotensin receptors), pain (opioid receptors), and bronchial asthma (beta2-adrenergic receptors) examples. Although the number of GPCRs is enormous, the signaling proteins downstream of them are limited, heterotrimeric G proteins (GPs) are key proteins that signal GPCRs, translate extracellular stimuli into intracellular responses by coupling to GPCRs and initiate multiple signaling events via downstream cascades. Podocytes are an important component of the glomerular filtration barrier, and their damage is a central event in proteinuria formation and progressive glomerulosclerosis. This article reviews the regulation of GPs, their signaling and their role in podocyte injury to provide a theoretical basis for scientific research and clinical treatment of this disease.

ObjectiveTo investigate the attenuating effect of Dioscoreae Bulbiferae Rhizoma（DBR） processed with Phaseoli Radiati Semen（PRS） juice， and explore the attenuating mechanism based on ferroptosis of the main toxic target organ. MethodSixty male ICR mice were randomly divided into blank group， DBR group， water roasted DBR group（hereinafter referred to as water group）， PRS juice-roasted DBR group 1（DBR-PRS 10∶1， stuffy moistening for 40 min， stir-fried at 130 ℃ for 18 min， hereinafter referred to as group 1）， PRS juice-roasted DBR group 2（DBR-PRS 10∶1， stuffy moistening for 80 min， stir-fried at 100 ℃ for 14 min， hereinafter referred to as group 2）， PRS juice-roasted DBR group 3（DBR-PRS=20∶3， stuffy moistening for 40 min， stir-fried at 160 ℃ for 14 min， hereinafter referred to as group 3）. The raw and processed groups of DBR were gavaged with their corresponding 95% ethanol extract at a dose of 3 g·kg^-1·d^-1， while the blank group was gavaged with an equal volume of 0.5% sodium carboxymethyl cellulose， once a day for 14 consecutive days. Hematoxylin-eosin（HE） staining was used to observe the histopathological changes of mouse liver. Alanine aminotransferase（ALT） and aspartate aminotransferase（AST） levels in serum， as well as malondialdehyde（MDA）， ferrous ions（Fe²⁺）， reduced glutathione（GSH） and superoxide dismutase（SOD） levels in liver tissue were detected by the biochemical detection. Western blot was used to detect the expression of iron key proteins such as ferritin heavy chain 1（FTH1） and glutathione peroxidase 4（GPX4）. ResultHE staining results showed that the liver tissue structure of the blank group was clear， the morphology of hepatocytes was normal， the cytoplasms of hepatocytes in the DBR group and water group were loose and vacuolar， with obvious pathological damages， and the pathologic damages of mice in the group 1-3 were significantly improved. Compared with the blank group， the levels of ALT， AST， MDA and Fe²⁺ in mice from the DBR group were significantly increased（P<0.01）， while GSH and SOD levels were significantly reduced（P<0.01）， and the protein expression levels of FTH1 and GPX4 were significantly decreased（P<0.01）. Compared with the DBR group， the ALT， AST，MDA and Fe²⁺ levels of mice in the group 1-3 were significantly reduced（P<0.05， P<0.01）， the GSH and SOD levels and the protein expression levels of FTH1 and GPX4 were significantly increased（P<0.01）. Compared with the water group， the AST and MDA levels of mice in the group 1-3 were significantly reduced（P<0.05， P<0.01）， the SOD level significantly increased（P<0.05， P<0.01）， the FTH1 protein expression significantly increased（P<0.01）， and the serum ALT level of mice in the group 2-3 significantly reduce（P<0.01）， Fe²⁺ level significantly reduced（P<0.01）， GSH level significantly increased（P<0.05， P<0.01）， and GPX4 protein expression significantly increased（P<0.05， P<0.01）. Among the group 1-3， the group 3 had the best detoxification effect. ConclutionProcessing with PRS juice can reduce the liver injury induced by DBR， and the mechanism may be related to the inhibition of ferroptosis in the liver.

Objective:To evaluate the value of 99Tc m-methoxyisobutylisonitrile(MIBI) SPECT/CT imaging for the identification of dystonic muscles in patients with primary cervical dystonia (PCD). Methods:A total of 10 patients with PCD (3 males, 7 females, age (47.3±9.9) years) and 10 healthy subjects (4 males, 6 females, age (43.5±9.4) years; control group) between August 2019 and October 2021 in China-Japan Friendship Hospital were enrolled prospectively. All subjects underwent 99Tc m-MIBI SPECT/CT scan. The SUV max of 8 bilateral representative muscles, including rectus capitis posterior major, obliquus capitis inferior, splenius capitis, semispinalis, sternocleidomastoid, trapezius, musculus scalenus muscle and levator scapulae were evaluated in control group. In PCD group, muscles with abnormal uptake were determined. ROI was drawn and SUV max was measured. Independent-sample t test was used to analyze the differences of SUV max between normal and abnormal muscles. The detecting rates of neck MRI and SPECT/CT for abnormal muscles were analyzed by χ2 test. Results:Normal muscles of healthy subjects showed mild symmetrical radioactivity distribution, with the SUV max of 1.10±0.19. A total of 60 muscles with abnormal uptake in 10 patients were found, including 7 rectus capitis posterior major, 10 obliquus capitis inferior, 8 splenius capitis, 8 semispinalis, 10 sternocleidomastoid, 5 trapezius, 3 musculus scalenus muscle and 9 levator scapulae. The SUV max of muscles with abnormal uptake was 1.81±0.43, which was higher than that of normal muscles ( t=17.05, P<0.001). Only 30 pieces abnormal hypertrophy muscle were found by neck MRI, and the detecting rate was much lower than that of SPECT/CT (18.75%(30/160) vs 37.50%(60/160); χ2=28.03, P<0.001). Conclusion:99Tc m-MIBI SPECT/CT may be a useful method for identifying dystonic muscles and a guide to precision therapy in patients with PCD.

Objective:To describe the characteristics and change trends of incidence, mortality and disease burden of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) in Qingdao from 2014 to 2020.Methods:We analyzed the incidence data of AMI retrieved from Qingdao Chronic Diseases Surveillance System. The average annual percent change (AAPC) of morbidity and mortality of AMI were evaluated by using Joinpoint log-linear regression model. Disability adjusted life year (DALY) was used to estimate disease burden of AMI in Qingdao.Results:A total of 70 491 AMI cases and 50 832 deaths of AMI occurred in Qingdao from 2014 to 2020. The age-standardized morbidity and mortality were 54.71/100 000 and 36.55/100 000, respectively. During 2014-2020, the AAPC of age-standardized morbidity was 2.86% (95% CI: 0.42%-5.35%), and 4.30% (95% CI: 1.24%-7.45%) in men and 0.78% (95% CI: -0.89%-2.47%) in women, respectively. The log-linear regression model showed that age-standardized morbidity in age groups 30-39, 40-49 years increased rapidly, with the AAPCs of 8.92% (95% CI: 2.23%-16.06%) and 6.32% (95% CI: 3.30%-9.44%), respectively. The trend was also observed in age groups 30-39, 40-49 and 50-59 years in men, with the AAPCs of 11.25% (95% CI: 3.54%-19.54%), 6.73% (95% CI: 2.63%-10.99%) and 6.72% (95% CI: 2.98%-10.60%), respectively. There was no significant change in age-standardized mortality. The DALY rate increased from 7.49/1 000 in 2014 to 8.61/1 000 in 2020, with the AAPC of 1.97% (95% CI: 0.36%-3.60%). Conclusions:The age-standardized morbidity of AMI in men increased in Qingdao, especially in those aged 30-49 years, while age-standardized mortality rate of AMI was relatively stable from 2014 to 2020. The burden of disease of AMI increased in both men and women.
