Objective: To explore the association between vegetable intake with glucose and lipid metabolism levels among school aged children, so as to provide scientific basis for dietary intervention on children s metabolic health. Methods: Based on a natural population cohort in Jiulongpo District and Fengdu County of Chongqing, 2 133 school aged children aged 6-9 years were enrolled in the baseline survey in 2014, and 2 029 children completed the follow up in 2019. Questionnaire surveys were used to collect vegetable intake, general demographic and lifestyle data. Height, weight and waist circumference were measured, and glucose and lipid metabolism indicators such as fasting blood glucose (FBG), triglyceride (TG) and total cholesterol (TC), low densith lipoprotein triglyceride (LDL-C), high densith lipoprotein triglyceride (HDL-C) were detected. Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal-Wallis H test were used for intergroup comparisons in multivariate analysis, and mixed effects linear regression model was used to analyze the association between vegetable intake and glucose and lipid metabolism. Results: The levels of FBG, TG, TC, HDL-C and LDL-C at baseline and follow up were [4.09(3.90,4.48), 0.84(0.60,1.14), 3.49(3.09,3.91), 1.25(1.09,1.46), 1.69 ( 1.39 ,2.02)；4.31(4.00,4.64), 0.92(0.71,1.22), 3.49(3.12,3.87), 1.36(1.16,1.57), 1.77(1.51,2.06)] mmol/L, respectively. Among these indicators, FBG, TG, HDL-C and LDL-C all increased significantly ( Z =-12.08, -7.82, -9.82, -5.37, all P < 0.01 ). The detection rate of low HDL-C levels at follow up (13.11%) was significantly lower than that at baseline (18.10%) ( χ 2=19.57, P <0.05). At baseline, there were significant differences in FBG, TC, TG, HDL-C and LDL-C among children with different vegetable intake levels ( H =68.47, 30.16, 11.02, 13.27, 44.70); at followup, only HDL-C showed significant intergroup differences ( H =13.10)(all P <0.05). Mixed effects linear regression model showed that after adjusting for confounding factors, vegetable intake was significantly negatively correlated with blood glucose levels among school aged children ( β=-0.03, 95%CI = -0.05 to -0.01, P <0.01). Conclusion Higher vegetable intake can independently reduce the risk of abnormal blood glucose in school aged children, which is of great significance for maintaining glucose metabolic health.

ObjectiveBased on the clinical characteristics of chronic gouty arthritis （CGA） in both traditional Chinese and western medicine， this study aims to systematically evaluate the clinical concordance of existing CGA animal models， providing recommendations for establishing animal models that align with the pathological characteristics of CGA and the manifestations of traditional Chinese medicine syndromes. MethodsBy comprehensively retrieving Chinese and international databases such as China National Knowledge Infrastructure， Wanfang， VIP Chinese Science and Technology Periodical Database （VIP）， and PubMed， all relevant literature on CGA animal models was collected. Based on the guidelines， the diagnostic criteria of both traditional Chinese and western medicine were summarized and organized. The evaluation indicators for the CGA model were constructed with reference to existing evaluation modes， and the CGA animal models were analyzed to systematically evaluate the clinical concordance of existing models. ResultsThe current methods used to construct CGA animal models mainly include monosodium urate crystal induction， high-protein diet induction （poultry lack urate oxidase）， and high-fat diet combined with urate oxidase inhibitors and joint injection. Based on 11 pieces of included literature， the traditional Chinese and western medicine scoring data of each model were extracted， and the average scoring values of all models were ultimately calculated. The results show that the average clinical concordances of existing CGA animal models in both traditional Chinese and western medicine are 43.33% and 64.44%， respectively. Among them， the model with the highest clinical concordance rate is the one with a high-fat diet combined with potassium oxonate to induce hyperuricemia plus joint injection， achieving 83.33% clinical concordance in western medicine and 60% in traditional Chinese medicine. This model aligns well with the pathogenic characteristics and pathological changes of clinical CGA. ConclusionAlthough current CGA animal models can simulate some pathological characteristics of CGA， they struggle to comprehensively reflect the complex pathological processes of CGA and the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine syndromes. Therefore， in the future， it is necessary to establish the CGA animal models that incorporate the clinical disease and syndrome characteristics of traditional Chinese and western medicine and formulate the uniform model evaluation criteria， providing more precise tools for CGA mechanism research and the development of traditional Chinese medicine.

Objective: To investigate the association between body weight standardized vitamin B intakes and blood pressure among school aged children, so as to provide evidence for developing dietary guidance and intervention strategies of promoting healthy blood pressure in children. Methods: The data were derived from a pediatric health cohort established in both urban and rural areas of Chongqing. A total of 1 368 primary school students in grades one to three were recruited for the baseline survey between October and November 2014 by using a stratified cluster random sampling design. From February to March 2019, 1 283 participants completed the first follow up assessment. Dietary intake and sociodemographic characteristics were assessed using a food frequency questionnaire and a self administered questionnaire. Blood pressure, height, weight, and other anthropometric indicators were measured. Body weight standardized intakes of six B vitamins(B 1, B 2, B 3, B 6, B 9, and B 12 )were categorized into tertiles( T1-T 3). Linear mixed effects models were applied to examine the associations between body weight standardized vitamin B intakes and changes in systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), and mean arterial pressure (MAP). In addition, mixed effects Logistic regression models were used to assess the risk of elevated blood pressure. Results: Linear mixed effects model regression analyses showed that, after adjusting for potential confounders including age, sex, and family history of obesity, body weight standardized B vitamin intake was negatively associated with SBP, DBP, and MAP in school aged children ( β =-7.79 to -0.68, all P <0.05). Results from the mixed effects Logistic regression models showed that, compared with the T 1 group, children in the T 3 group had a lower risk of elevated blood pressure for vitamin B 1 ( OR=0.40, 95%CI =0.25-0.64), B 2 ( OR=0.36, 95%CI =0.23-0.58), B 3 ( OR=0.47, 95%CI =0.31-0.72, B 6 ( OR=0.37, 95%CI =0.22-0.60), B 9 ( OR=0.36, 95%CI =0.21-0.60), and B 12 ( OR= 0.56 , 95%CI =0.37-0.86)(all P <0.05). Conclusions Body weight standardized B vitamins were associated with changes in blood pressure levels and the risk of elevated blood pressure among school aged children. Ensuring sufficient dietary intakes of vitamin B may help prevent and control of abnormal blood pressure in children.

Objective To investigate the clinical features,diagnosis,treatment and prognosis of sinon-asal mucosal melanoma(SNMM).Methods The clinical data of 16 cases of SNMM without cervical lymph node metastasis admitted to this hospital from June 2014 to July 2021 were retrospectively analyzed.Results The mean age of all 16 cases was(70.00±7.02)years.The mean survival period was 22.87 months in the treated group and 9.42 months in the untreated group,with significant difference in outcome(P=0.01).There was no significant difference in long-term prognosis between patients with bone destruction and those without bone destruction after treatment(P=0.085).There was also no significant difference in prognosis between T3 group and T4a group after treatment(P=0.119).Conclusion SNMM usually presents with mi-nor nasal bleeding as the initial symptom,and the overall prognosis is poor due to its propensity for metasta-sis.Surgical resection and postoperative individualized comprehensive therapy are the main treatments,and immunotherapy may improve survival.

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the efficacy and safety of intranasal corticosteroids （INCS） combined with oral H1- antihistamine （AH） in the treatment of allergic rhinitis. METHODS A comprehensive literature search was conducted in PubMed， Embase， CNKI， and VIP database to collect randomized controlled trial （RCT） that INCS combined with AH （experimental group） versus INCS （control group） in the treatment of allergic rhinitis from the inception to December 31， 2024. After study selection， data extraction， and quality assessment， a meta-analysis was performed by using RevMan 5.3 software. RESULTS A total of 12 RCTs were included in the meta-analysis， with a total of 1 842 patients. Results of meta-analysis showed that， compared with the control group， patients in the experimental group had a greater reduction in sneezing scores， rhinorrhea scores， nasal congestion scores， nasal itching scores， total nasal symptom scores， total ocular symptom scores， and rhinoconjunctivitis quality of life questionnaire scores （P＜0.05）. The incidence of headache was lower in the experimental group （P＜0.05）； whereas there were no significant differences between the two groups in the incidence of nosebleed， dryness of the mouth and nose， drowsiness， fatigue， and total adverse events （P＞0.05）. CONCLUSIONS Compared with INCS monotherapy， the combination of INCS and oral AH provides superior efficacy and safety in the treatment of allergic rhinitis.

AIM: To conduct a CiteSpace-based visualization analysis of the literature on traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)treatment of diabetic retinopathy(DR)from January 2014 to January 2024.METHODS: The literatures were retrieved from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)database. Co-occurrence, clustering, and emergence analyses of annual publications, authors, research institutions, and keywords were performed using Note Express and CiteSpace software to generate knowledge graph.RESULTS: A total of 643 Chinese-language articles were included. The annual publication trend was characterized by fluctuations. The primary research institutions were Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medical and Eye Hospital China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. Twenty high-frequency keywords were identified, including diabetes, TCM, and review, along with emergent terms such as Qiming granules and data mining. The research focus in 2014 was on exploring therapeutic methods and the efficacy of proprietary Chinese medicines. From 2016 to 2018, the research perspective expanded to include symptoms and multi-factorial analysis. Between 2018 and 2020, there was an in-depth investigation into evidence types and disease stages. After 2019, the emphasis shifted towards TCM-specific therapies and patient-centered concepts. From 2022 to 2024, innovation in research methods and the theory of TCM collaterals theory emerged as new hotspots.CONCLUSION: The research on TCM treatment for DR is still in an ascending phase. The primary research hotspot currently centers on Qiming granules. Future trends are likely to focus on the efficacy and mechanisms of action. The combined application of different therapies and long-term follow-up experimental research could provide a more robust basis for evidence-based medicine, unearth the potential of TCM, and promote its development in the prevention and treatment of DR.

Objective:To investigate the pattern of Mesothelin(MSLN)-specific T-cell(CTLs)immune reconstitution after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.Methods:Two cases of Mesothelin-positive patients with acute myeloid leukemia(AML)were screened,and the number of MSLN-CTLs and its subpopulations,the expression of surface PD-1/CTLA-4/TIM-3 im-mune exhaustion molecules,and the functions of secreted cytokines TNF-α and IFN-γ were monitored by flow cytometry after trans-plantation.They were compared with WT1-CTLs and cytomegalovirus(CMV)CTLs.Meanwhile,the relationship between CTL recon-stitution and Minimal residual disease(MRD)and leukemia recurrence was analyzed.Results:After transplantation,MSLN-CTLs,WT1-CTLs and CMV-CTLs can be detected,and intracellular factors were secreted.The phenotypes of WT1 specific CD8+T cells,MSLN specific CD8+T cells and CMV specific CD8+T cells were mainly TEM subsets and TEMRA subsets,and the TEM subsets of CMV specific CD8+T cells were more obvious.Compared with CMV-CTLs,the proportions of T Naive,TCM and TEMRA subsets were relatively higher in MSLN-specific CD8+T cells and WT1-specific CD8+T cells,and the expression levels of PD-1,CTLA-4 and TIM-3 were higher in MSLN-CTLs and WT1-CTLs.The dynamic changes of MSLN-CTLs and WT1-CTLs after transplantation were related to leukemia load and the chimerism rate of donor and recipient.Conclusion:After allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation,im-mune recovery to MSLN is found,which is different from WT1-CTLs and CMV-CTLs.

Objective:To investigate the role of heme oxygenase-1(HO-1)regulating autophagy and its impact on the intracel-lular growth of Mycobacterium abscessus(M.abs).Methods:The standard strain of M.abs ATCC19977 was used to stimulate mouse RAW264.7 macrophages with a specified multiple of infection(MOI)for a specified time.Western blot analysis was performed to detect the expression levels of HO-1 protein and autophagy related proteins Atg5,LC3Ⅱ and p62.Macrophages were pretreated with HO-1 specific inducer CoPP and enzyme activity inhibitor SnPP for 12 h,and incubated with M.abs for 2 h.Amikacin removed extra-cellular bacteria and continued to culture until the specified time,and cell activity was detected by CCK-8 method.Western blot and LysoTracker Red were used to detect the regulatory relationship between HO-1 protein and autophagy related proteins.Bacterial survival and TNF-α secretion levels were detected by colony count and ELISA.Results:Compared with the control group,M.abs could induce increased expression of HO-1,Atg5,LC3Ⅱ and p62 proteins.Over-expression and inhibition of HO-1 were found to effectively regu-late the expressions of Atg5,LC3Ⅱ and p62 induced by M.abs.LysoTracker Red,colony count,and ELISA results demonstrated that SnPP promoted the increasement of intracellular lysosomes,significantly inhibited M.abs intracellular proliferation,and reduced TNF-α secretion.Conclusion:Inhibition of HO-1 can enhance the autophagy flow induced by M.abs and reduce the intracellular growth of M.abs,which provides scientific basis for the development of targeted drugs targeting HO-1.

Objective:To evaluate the safety and efficacy of accelerator-based boron neutron capture therapy (AB-BNCT) in the treatment of recurrent and refractory malignant tumors.Methods:The data of 14 patients admitted to Xiamen Humanity Hospital from September 2022 to April 2023 were prospectively collected, including 7 patients with primary brain malignancies and 7 patients with locally recurrent inoperable head and neck malignancies. All patients received intravenous infusion of boron drug (NBB-001, p-dihydroxyborylphe nylalanine, a patented freeze-dried formulation) at a total nominal dosage of 500 mg/kg (11 patients) or 750 mg/kg (3 patients), and were irradiated with neutrons (operating with NeuPex system). Adverse events after treatment were recorded and assessed. The primary efficacy endpoint was the 90 d objective response rate (ORR), while the secondary endpoints included progression-free survival (PFS) and complete response rate (CRR). Data were compiled and analyzed by SAS 9.4 software. The rate and 95% CI were calculated using Clopper-Pearson method. Results:The median dose delivered to 80% of the target volume (D 80%) was 16.80 GyE (range: 8.93-23.79 GyE). The most common adverse reactions were hyperamylasemia, alopecia, and hyperprolactinemia. Five patients experienced 8 cases of grade 3 or above adverse events, including 1 case of grade 4 acute kidney injury and 7 cases of grade 3 adverse events. All adverse events were recovered after observation or treatment. At 90 d after treatment, the ORR of all patients was 9/14 (64%, 95% CI: 35%-87%), disease control rate (DCR) was 10/14 (71%, 95% CI: 42%-92%), CRR was 2/14 (14%, 95% CI: 2%-42%); and the best overall response during the entire course included an ORR of 10/14 (71% ,95% CI: 42%-92%), DCR of 13/14 (93%, 95% CI: 66%-100%), and CRR of 3/14 (21% ,95% CI: 5%-51%). The 1-year survival rate for head and neck malignancies was 71.4%, and the 2-year survival rate was 42.8%. The 1-year survival rate for recurrent brain malignancies was 42.8%. Conclusion:AB-BNCT demonstrates favorable safety and promising efficacy in treating primary brain malignancies and recurrent/refractory head and neck malignancies, representing a potential therapeutic option.
