ObjectiveTo understand the epidemic characteristics of influenza in Beijing from 2023 to 2024, and to provide a scientific basis for the prevention and control of influenza. MethodsData on influenza-like illness (ILI) from secondary level and above hospitals, etiology surveillance data, and influenza clusters outbreaks data from 2023‒2024 were used to analyze the epidemic trend and pathogenic characteristics of influenza. Furthermore, an influenza comprehensive index was used to categorize the epidemic intensity at the severity level. ResultsA total of 2 065 857 ILI cases were reported in 2023‒2024 epidemic season, and the percentage of ILI was 3.67%. The age group of 5‒14 years accounted for the highest proportion of ILI (30.48%). A total of 41 766 throat swabs from ILI were detected, with a positive rate of 17.28%.A (H3N2) (51.86%) and B Victoria (41.93%) were the most prevalent subtypes of influenza virus. Clustered influenza outbreaks occurred mainly in primary schools (57.78%) and middle schools (35.55%), mainly caused by the influenza A (H3N2) subtype (85.93%). According to the influenza comprehensive index (I), the period of influenza activity and above (I>0.5) lasted for a total of 37 weeks, accounting for 71.15% of the entire influenza season. ConclusionCompared with previous years, the epidemic level of influenza in Beijing was increased in 2023‒2024, and the peak time became earlier. The comprehensive index method can objectively evaluate the level of influenza epidemic and provide suggestions for the future prevention and control of influenza in Beijing.

T cell infiltration and proliferation in tumor tissues are the main factors that significantly affect the therapeutic outcomes of cancer immunotherapy. Emerging evidence has shown that interferon-gamma (IFNγ) could enhance CXCL9 secretion from macrophages to recruit T cells, but Siglec15 expressed on TAMs can attenuate T cell proliferation. Therefore, targeted regulation of macrophage function could be a promising strategy to enhance cancer immunotherapy via concurrently promoting the infiltration and proliferation of T cells in tumor tissues. We herein developed reduction-responsive nanoparticles (NPs) made with poly (disulfide amide) (PDSA) and lipid-poly (ethylene glycol) (lipid-PEG) for systemic delivery of Siglec15 siRNA (siSiglec15) and IFNγ for enhanced cancer immunotherapy. After intravenous administration, these cargo-loaded could highly accumulate in the tumor tissues and be efficiently internalized by tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs). With the highly concentrated glutathione (GSH) in the cytoplasm to destroy the nanostructure, the loaded IFNγ and siSiglec15 could be rapidly released, which could respectively repolarize macrophage phenotype to enhance CXCL9 secretion for T cell infiltration and silence Siglec15 expression to promote T cell proliferation, leading to significant inhibition of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) growth when combining with the immune checkpoint inhibitor. The strategy developed herein could be used as an effective tool to enhance cancer immunotherapy.

Objective:To explore the influence of head nurse empowerment on nurses′ voice behavior and the mediating and moderating effects of nurses′ job crafting and proactive personality. Methods:A total of 805 nurses from the 4 grade A hospitals in Shandong province from February to March 2022 were selected by convenience sampling method, the Nurse Managers′ Empowering Behavioral Scale For Staff Nurses, Job Crafting Scale, Voice Behavior Scale and Proactive Personality Scale were used for cross-sectional survey. The mediating effect was analyzed by SPSS 26.0 and Process 3.4 macro. Results:The total score of nurses′ perception of head nurse empowerment was (4.01 ± 0.57) points, the total score of nurses′ job crafting was (4.19 ± 0.66) points, the total score of nurses′ voice behavior was (4.12 ± 0.62) points, and the total score of nurses′ proactive personality was (6.07 ± 0.90) points. Head nurse empowerment, nurse job crafting, voice behavior and proactive personality were positively correlated with each other ( r values were 0.483-0.824, all P<0.01). The mediating effect of job crafting was 0.541, accounting for 86.4% of the total effect; proactive personality had a positive moderating effect on the first half path of the mediation model ( ? R 2=0.163, P<0.01). Conclusions:Head nurse empowerment influenced voice behavior of nurses directly and indirectly through the mediating role of job crafting, proactive personality can moderate the effect of head nurse empowerment on nurse job crafting. It is suggested that the head nurse appropriately delegate power to the nurses and actively authorize them, identify nurses with high proactive personality, stimulate their job remodeling and voice behavior, and improve the quality of nursing work.

Objective:To evaluate the influence of the sleeve lengths and implant lengths on accuracy of static computer-assisted implant surgery (sCAIS).Methods:Twenty-eight models of bilateral mandibular single tooth loss were included. Fifty-five implants were placed under the guidance of sCAIS (Straumann Bone Level 4.1 mm×10 mm). According to the height of metal sleeve of static guide plate, 55 implants were divided into 11 groups (free hand group, 1 mm group, 2 mm group, 3 mm group, 4 mm group, 5 mm group, 6 mm group, 7 mm group, 8 mm group, 9 mm group, 10 mm group), with 5 implants in each group. Eight research models were included. Group with 5 mm sleeve guides were used to place implants of different length, (Straumann Bone Level width 4.1 mm, height was 8 mm, 10 mm and 14 mm), 5 implants in each group. Eighteen patients with mandibular single tooth loss were included in the Department of Oral Implantology, Tianjin Stomatological Hospital from October 2018 to June 2019. There were 10 males and 8 females, 18-46(33.7±7.9) years old. A total of 18 implants were implanted and divided into 3 groups (free hand group, 3 mm group and 5 mm group) with 6 implants in each group. Digital software was used to compare the implant positions before and after implantation. Non-parametric Kruskal-Wallis test or one-way ANOVA were used to analyze the results. Results:There was no significant difference in implant vertical deviation between different sleeve height groups (1-10 mm) and free hand group, but the neck deviation in free hand group[(1.04±0.13) mm] was significantly higher than that in different sleeve height groups (1-10 mm) ( P<0.05). The tip deviations of free hand group, 1 mm group and 2 mm group [(1.32±0.43), (0.83±0.10) and (0.78±0.11) mm, respectively] was significantly higher than that of 10 mm group [(0.31±0.14) mm]( P<0.05). The angle deviation of free hand group and 1 mm group (3.99°±0.85° and 2.59°±0.69°), respectively] was significantly higher than that of 10 mm group (0.61°±0.03°) ( P<0.05). The tip deviations of implants in the 14 mm group [(0.83±0.22) mm] was significantly higher than that in the 8 mm and 10 mm groups [(0.44±0.07) and (0.49±0.06) mm, respectively]. Clinical studies showed that there was no significant difference in neck deviation, tip deviation and angle deviation between 3 mm group and 5 mm group ( P>0.05), but deviations were significantly lower than those in free hand group ( P<0.05). Conclusions:The length of the sleeves has significant influence on the accuracy of the surgical guide. There was no significant difference in accuracy of the implant guide with 3 mm or 5 mm metal sleeves. The vitro study has some limitations and needs further systematic research.
