To investigate the transcriptionally regulatory mechanism of the senp8 promoter in yellow cat-fish(Pelteobagrus fulvidraco);this study used P.fulvidraco as the research subject.Dual-luciferase re-porter assay and electrophoretic mobility shift assay were employed to analyze the functional activity of the promoter;coupled with in vivo experiments. The results indicated that the 2 045 bp senp8 promoter se-quence contained key transcription factor binding sites such as SP1;TATA-Box;CCAAT-Box;SREBP1;PPARα;and PPARγ.The binding sites of SREBP1(-901/-910 bp);PPARα(-1 291/-1 308 bp);and PPARγ(-1 292/-1 306 bp)in the senp8 promoter positively regulate its activity;and oleic acid or palmitic acid promote this binding.Furthermore;high-fat feeding promoted the expression of the senp8 gene and its protein in the liver of P.fulvidraco;oleic acid or palmitic acid treatment significantly en-hanced the activity of the senp8 promoter;and this enhancement could be achieved through the regulatory effects of SREBP1;PPARα;and PPARγ response elements.Additionally;high-fat feeding influenced the mRNA and protein expression levels of genes related to deSUMOylation modification in the liver of P.fulvidraco.This study provides new insights into the relationship between deSUMOylation modification and the regulation of lipid metabolism in the vertebrates.

Background and Aims:Acute inferior vena cava thrombosis(IVCT)commonly occurs secondary to inferior vena cava filter(VCF)implantation. If not promptly treated,it may lead to serious complications such as bilateral lower limb swelling and pulmonary embolism and can also reduce the likelihood of successful filter retrieval.Percutaneous mechanical thrombectomy(PMT)and catheter-directed thrombolysis(CDT)are currently the main interventional treatments for IVCT,but comparative studies evaluating their efficacy and safety remain limited. This study was to conduct a prospective randomized controlled trial to compare the clinical efficacy and safety of AngioJet mechanical thrombectomy versus conventional CDT in the treatment of acute IVCT and to explore factors influencing filter retrieval rates, thereby providing evidence-based guidance for clinical decision-making.Methods:From January 2022 to December 2024,patients diagnosed with acute IVCT following VCF implantation were prospectively enrolled at the Department of Vascular Surgery,Beijing Jishuitan Hospital,Capital Medical University.Patients were randomly assigned to either the CDT group(n=46)or the PMT group(n=48)according to the interventional procedure used. The two groups were compared in terms of filter retrieval rates, thrombus clearance outcomes, operative time, thrombolytic drug dosage, and incidence of complications.Logistic regression analysis was used to identify factors associated with primary filter retrieval. Results:A total of 94 patients were enrolled, with 46 in the CDT group and 48 in the PMT group.Compared to the CDT group, the PMT group demonstrated a significantly higher primary filter retrieval rate(77.1%vs.43.5%),grade Ⅲ thrombus clearance rate(70.8%vs.37.0%),and better postoperative thrombus scores.Additionally, the PMT group required lower urokinase doses and shorter thrombolysis duration(all P<0.05).The overall filter retrieval rate and 3-month IVC patency were similar between groups, both exceeding 93%.Regarding safety, the CDT group had a higher incidence of catheter-related infections and medical adhesive-related skin injury, while vagal reflex symptoms were more frequent in the PMT group.Logistic regression analysis identified thrombus clearance rate as an independent factor significantly associated with primary filter retrieval in the PMT group(OR=190.773,P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared to CDT,AngioJet mechanical thrombectomy combined with manual aspiration achieves higher thrombus clearance and primary filter retrieval rates in the treatment of acute IVCT while also reducing thrombolysis duration and drug dosage. However, attention should be paid to the increased risk of vagal reflex symptoms. There was no significant difference between the two groups in secondary filter retrieval rates or long-term IVC patency. The choice of intervention should be based on the patient's condition, timing of filter retrieval, and individualized clinical considerations.

Objective:To investigate the clinical application value of a novel filter's retraction hook capture technique of pull-assisted method for the endovascular retrieval of conical inferior vena cava (IVC) filters whose hook attached to the wall. Methods:From January 2020 to December 2024, patients with conical filters whose hook attached to the wall admitted at Beijing Jishuitan Hospital were enrolled consecutively. Results:A total of 46 patients underwent filter retrieval using filter's retraction hook capture technique of pull-assisted method. Among these patients, 39 cases (84.8%) were successful in filter retrieval, with the penetration distance of cranial anchor vertex of 3.3(2.5, 4.4) mm, and 13 (33.3%) filters were deformed. The other 7 cases were unsuccessful, with a penetration distance of cranial anchor vertex of 5.0 (4.3, 5.0) mm, and 6 (85.7%) filters were deformed. There was a statistically significant difference between the two groups ( P<0.05). One case (2.2%) had IVC injury, one case (2.2%) experienced filter fracture, and no symptomatic pulmonary embolism occurred. Logistic regression analysis showed that filter deformation was an independent dangerous factor for filter's retraction. Conclusions:Filter's retraction hook capture technique of pull-assisted method is effective in removing conical filters whose hook attached to the wall, with no symptomatic PE occurring. This method can be considered as a new adjuvant technique for filter retrieval.

Adverse Drug Reactions Journal 2025;27(10):584-591
Objective:To explore clinical characteristics of adverse drug reactions of novel antineoplastic drugs in patients with human immunodeficiency virus infection/acquired immunodeficiency syndrome(HIV/AIDS).Methods:The study was a retrospective case-control design. The subjects were selected from patients who used novel antineoplastic drugs in Henan Provincial Infectious Disease Hospital from January 1 to December 31, 2023. Clinical data of patients were collected through the hospital electronic medical record system. Adverse reactions of novel antineoplastic drugs were screened and the incidence was calculated. According to results of HIV antibody testing, adverse reaction incidence was compared between HIV antibody-negative and-positive patients. Then the patients with HIV/AIDS were divided into 2 groups according to whether adverse reactions occurred and the differences in clinical data between them were compared; the clinical manifestations, intervention and outcomes of adverse reactions were analyzed descriptively. Results:A total of 182 patients were enrolled in this study, the overall incidence rate of adverse reactions of novel antineoplastic drugs was 56.6% (103/182), and the incidences in HIV antibody-positive and -negative patients were 55.9% (76/136) and 58.7% (27/46), respectively, with no statistically significant difference ( P>0.05). In patients with HIV/AIDS, the proportions of patients over 50 years old [80.3% (61/76) vs. 63.3% (38/60)], with a history of previous adverse reactions [43.4% (33/76) vs. 23.3% (14/60)], and with other comorbidities [57.9% (44/76) vs. 40.0% (24/60)] in the adverse reactions group were higher than those in the non-adverse reactions group, and the differences were all statistical significance (all P<0.05). No statistically significant differences were found in gender, CD4 + T lymphocyte levels, HIV viral load, antiretroviral treatment regimens, and tumor types between the 2 groups (all P>0.05). Adverse reactions occurred for 91 times in the 76 patients, 27 (29.7%) of which were grade 1, 45 (49.4%) were grade 2, and 19 (20.9%) were grade 3 or severer. According to clinical characteristics, there were 209 performances of adverse reactions in 76 patients, mainly including hand-foot syndrome, fatigue, hypertension, rash, etc., with the main affected system and organs being the skin and its appendages and the gastrointestinal system. The involved drugs mainly were anlotinib (44 cases, 21.0%), lenvatinib (29 cases, 13.9%), and bevacizumab (23 cases, 11.0%). After drug adjustments and symptomatic treatments, 80 times of adverse reactions were eventually improved, 4 were not, and 3 were with unknown information. Conclusions:The incidences of adverse reactions of novel antineoplastic drugs were similar between patients with and without HIV/AIDS. In HIV/AIDS patients with tumors, those over 50 years old, with other diseases, and with a history of adverse reactions might have higher risks of adverse reactions, which mainly involved the skin and its appendages and the gastrointestinal system, with a severity of mostly grade 1 to 2. With timely managements, the prognosis was favorable.
