Objective To investigate the effects of exercise and complex environment on lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced dopaminergic neuron death in the substantia nigra of midbrain.Methods C57BL/6 mice were divided into control group,LPS group,LPS+swimming group and LPS+complex environment group,with 7 mice in each group.The mice in the LPS group were injected with LPS into the brain to establish an inflammatory model of Parkinson's disease and lived in cages for 2 weeks.Mice in LPS+swimming group were forced to swim for 15 minutes every day for 2 weeks after modeling.The mice in the LPS+complex environment group were placed in a complex environment for 2 weeks after modeling.The control group mice were not treated.After 14 days of modeling,behavioral experiments such as footprint,open field and rotating rod were performed on each group of mice to detect the autonomous exercise ability,exercise balance ability and depression level of mice.The expressions of tyrosine hydroxylase(TH)in substantia nigra was detected by immunohistochemical staining and Western blotting.The expressions of brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF),Caspase-3,interleukin-1β(IL-1β),interleukin-6(IL-6)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)in the substantia nigra of the midbrain were detected by Western blotting.The transcription levels of IL-1β,IL-6 and TNF-α in substantia nigra were detected by RT-PCR.Results Compared with the control group,the exercise ability and balance ability of mice in LPS group,LPS+swimming group and LPS+complex environment group decreased,the depression level increased(P＜0.001),the number of TH positive neurons and BDNF protein decreased significantly(P＜0.001),and the contents of Caspase-3,IL-1β,IL-6 and TNF-α increased significantly(P＜0.001).Compared with the LPS group,the exercise ability and balance ability of the mice in the LPS+swimming group and the LPS+complex environment group were restored,the depression level decreased significantly(P＜0.01),the survival number of TH positive neurons and the content of BDNF increased significantly(P＜0.01),Caspase-3,IL-1β,IL-6 and TNF-α reduced significantly(P＜0.01),and the phenomenon in the LPS+complex environment group was more significant.Conclusion Exercise and complex environment can inhibit LPS-induced central nervous system inflammation in mice,thereby reducing damage to midbrain substantia nigra neurons,and the inhibitory effect of LPS+complex environment group is more significant.

Chronic lumbar and back pain caused by degenerative vertebral endplates presents a challenging issue for pa-tients and clinicians.As a new minimally invasive spinal treatment method,radiofrequency ablation of vertebral basal nerve in bone can denature the corresponding vertebral basal nerve through radiofrequency ablation of degenerative vertebral endplate.It blocks the nociceptive signal transmission of the vertebral base nerve,thereby alleviating the symptoms of low back pain caused by the degenerative vertebral endplate.At present,many foreign articles have reported the operation principle,opera-tion method,clinical efficacy and related complications of radiofrequency ablation of the vertebral basal nerve.The main pur-pose of this paper is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the current relevant research,and provide a reference for the follow-up clinical research.

With the acceleration of industrialization,the issue of heavy metal pollution has become increasingly severe,and the potential threat to the ecological environment and human health is increasing.It is necessary and important to detect the contents and species of heavy metal ions.To reduce the influence of complex sample matrices and enrich low contents of analytes,suitable sample pretreatment is usually required before analysis.In recent years,magnetic solid phase extraction(MSPE)based on magnetic extraction materials prepared by rational design and functional modification have attracted much attention in the analysis of heavy metal ions due to their high selectivity,satisfactory adsorption capacity and efficient separation ability.In this paper,the application progress of magnetic composite materials based on ion imprinted polymers,chitosan,metal organic frameworks,ionic liquids and other polymers in the extraction of heavy metal ions from environmental water samples,seafood,radioactive waste and food in recent years was reviewed.The current review focused on the preparation of representative materials in the same category and their adsorption performance towards heavy metal ions.The challenges were analyzed and the future development trend was also prospected.

To investigate the epidemiology of avian infectious bronchitis virus(IBV)and study the pathogenicity of IBV isolate,we isolated the IBV field strain from a clinical sample of chickens sus-pected to be infected with infectious bronchitis virus(IBV)from Hefei,Anhui Province,named HF210416.Sequencing analysis of the S1 gene showed that HF210416 belonged to the GI-22 geno-type,which was significantly differed from that of the reference GI-22-type strains,with homology ranging only from 84.5％to 87.8％.Recombinant analysis showed that HF210416 was a recombi-nant strain,with YX10(GI-19)as the major parent and YN(GI-19)as the minor parent.2-day-old SPF chicks infected with the HF210416 isolate showed clinical symptoms such as breathing with difficulty,depression and excreting watery droppings;the infected chicks had a rapid onset of dis-ease,with mortality occurring on the second day of inoculation,and mortality persisted until the fifth day,with 33.33％(5/15)mortality rate.The infected chicks recovered the 14th day after inoculation.RT-PCR detection of pharyngeal-anal swabs showed that the virus shedding by infected chicks could be continuously detected within 14 days of the test period;Enlarged and pale kidney as well as urate deposition in the kidney were observed in infected dead and undead chicks;and the HE staining of histopathological slices showed that the cilia of trachea were removed.Immunohis-tochemistry showed that obvious viral signals were observed in the trachea,lungs,and kidneys.The viral load of various tissues was detected by RT-qPCR and it showed that HF210416 had the high-est replication efficiency in kidney tissues,then in cecum tonsils and trachea.The results of serum neutralization test showed that HF210416 had a better neutralization effect on GI-22 homologous strains,but poorer neutralization effect on other genotypes strains,suggesting that HF210416 is not suitable for vaccine candidate.In conclusion,the GI-22 isolate HF210416 is highly pathogenic and nephrotropic to chicks,and its genomic genetic characteristics and immunogenicity are differ-ent from those of other strains.This study enriches the resources of IBV strains and provides refer-ence data for understanding of the prevalence and pathogenicity of GI-22 genotypes in China.

ObjectiveTo explore the improvement effect of Flos Puerariae， Hoveniae Semen， and their compatibility on acute alcoholic gastric mucosal injury， and lay a foundation for further development of Flos Puerariae， Hoveniae Semen， and their compatibility in the prevention and treatment of alcohol-induced multiple organ injury. MethodThe acute alcohol-induced gastric mucosal injury model of mice was established by multiple intragastric administration of 56% Hongxing Erguotou liquor （15 mL·kg^-1）. A total of 120 male ICR mice were randomly divided into 8 groups， namely， the blank group， model group， omeprazole group （0.026 g·kg^-1）， Flos Puerariae-Hoveniae Semen （compatibility） high， medium， and low-dose groups （29.2，14.6， 7.3 g·kg^-1）， Flos Puerariae group （19.5 g·kg^-1）， and Hoveniae Semen group （19.5 g·kg^-1）， with 15 mice in each group. After one week of adaptive feeding， the animals were pre-administrated with the corresponding drug at the rate of 10 mL·kg^-1 for 3 d. From the 4^th day， after 1 h of administration， Erguotou liquid was administrated at the rate of 15 mL·kg^-1 and the blank group was administrated with the same volume of deionized water to record the drunkenness and sober up time. The administration was lasted for 3 d. One hour after the last administration， the eyeballs were removed and the mice were sacrificed. The concentration of ethanol in serum was determined by gas chromatograph， and the activity of ethanol dehydrogenase （ADH） in gastric mucosa was determined by ultraviolet-vis spectrophotometer. Hematoxylin-eosin （HE） staining was used to observe the pathological changes in gastric mucosa. Serum inflammatory factors were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay （ELISA）. The mRNA expression of nuclear transcription factor-κB （NF-κB） p65 and NF-κB inhibitory protein α （IκBα） were detected by real-time polymerase chain reaction （Real-time PCR）. ResultAs compared with the normal group， the content of interleukin-6 （IL-6）， interleukin-1β （IL-1β）， and tumor necrosis factor-α （TNF-α） in serum of mice in the model group was increased （P<0.05）， the mRNA expression of NF-κB p65 in gastric mucosa tissues was increased （P<0.01）， and the mRNA expression of IκBα was decreased （P<0.01）. As compared with the model group， the drunkenness time of the omeprazole group， high and medium-dose compatibility groups， and Flos Puerariae group was prolonged （P<0.05）， the sober up time of the high and medium-dose compatibility groups was shortened （P<0.05）， the ethanol concentration in the serum of the high-dose compatibility group was decreased （P<0.05）， the ADH activity in the gastric mucosa of the omeprazole group and high and medium-dose compatibility groups was increased （P<0.05）， the macroscopic injury score of the high， medium， and low-dose compatibility groups and Flos Puerariae group was decreased （P<0.05）， the score of pathological injury in the omeprazole group， high， medium， and low-dose compatibility groups， and Flos Puerariae group was decreased （P<0.01）， the expression of IL-6 in serum of all drug groups was decreased （P<0.05）， the expression of IL-1β in serum of the omeprazole group， high， medium， and low-dose Flos Puerariae groups， and Hoveniae Semen group was decreased （P<0.05）， the expression of TNF-α in serum of high and medium-dose groups was decreased （P<0.05）， the mRNA expression of NF-κB p65 in gastric mucosa tissues of all drug groups was decreased （P<0.05）， and the mRNA expression of IκBα in gastric mucosa tissues of the omeprazole group and high， medium， and low-dose compatibility groups was increased （P<0.05）. As compared with the high-dose compatibility group， the drunkenness time in the low-dose compatibility group and Hoveniae Semen group was shortened （P<0.01）， the sober up time in the Flos Puerariae and Hoveniae Semen groups was prolonged （P<0.01）， the concentration of ethanol in the serum of the medium and low-dose compatibility groups， Flos Puerariae group， and Hoveniae Semen group increased （P<0.05）， the macroscopic injury score of the medium and low-dose compatibility groups and Hoveniae Semen group was increased （P<0.05）， the pathological injury score of the medium and low-dose compatibility groups， Flos Puerariae group， and Hoveniae Semen group was increased （P<0.01）， the content of IL-1β in serum of low-dose compatibility group， Flos Puerariae group， and Hoveniae Semen group was increased （P<0.01）， and the mRNA expression of IκBα in gastric mucosa of the Flos Puerariae group and Hoveniae Semen group was decreased （P<0.05）. As compared with the medium-dose compatibility group， the drunkenness time in the Hoveniae Semen group was shortened （P<0.05）， the sober up time in the Flos Puerariae group was prolonged （P<0.05）， the pathological injury score in the Flos Puerariae group and Hoveniae Semen group was increased （P<0.01）， and the content of IL-1β in serum of the low-dose compatibility group， the Flos Puerariae group， and Hoveniae Semen group was increased （P<0.05）. As compared with the low-dose compatibility group， the pathological injury score of the Hoveniae Semen group was increased （P<0.05）. ConclusionFlos Puerariae， Hoveniae Semen， and their compatibility play a role in preventing and treating acute alcoholic gastric mucosal injury in mice， which may be related to the inhibition of the expression of NF-κB signal pathway in gastric mucosa， and the high-dose compatibility group has the optimal effect.

Objective: To describe the distribution characteristics of hypertension among adult twins in the Chinese National Twin Registry (CNTR) and to provide clues for exploring the role of genetic and environmental factors on hypertension. Methods: A total of 69 220 (34 610 pairs) of twins aged 18 and above with hypertension information were selected from CNTR registered from 2010 to 2018. Random effect models were used to describe the population and regional distribution of hypertension in twins. To estimate the heritability, the concordance rates of hypertension were calculated and compared between monozygotic twins (MZ) and dizygotic twins (DZ). Results: The age of all participants was (34.1±12.4) years. The overall self-reported prevalence of hypertension was 3.8%(2 610/69 220). Twin pairs who were older, living in urban areas, married, overweight or obese, current smokers or ex-smokers, and current drinkers or abstainers had a higher self-reported prevalence of hypertension (P<0.05). Analysis within the same-sex twin pairs found that the concordance rate of hypertension was 43.2% in MZ and 27.0% in DZ, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.001). The heritability of hypertension was 22.1% (95%CI: 16.3%- 28.0%). Stratified by gender, age, and region, the concordance rate of hypertension in MZ was still higher than that in DZ. The heritability of hypertension was higher in female participants. Conclusions: There were differences in the distribution of hypertension among twins with different demographic and regional characteristics. It is indicated that genetic factors play a crucial role in hypertension in different genders, ages, and regions, while the magnitude of genetic effects may vary.

A total of 69 130 (34 565 pairs) of adult twins with complete information on hyperlipidemia were selected for analysis. The random effect model was used to characterize the population and regional distribution of hyperlipidemia among twins. The concordance rates of hyperlipidemia were calculated in monozygotic twins (MZ) and dizygotic twins (DZ), respectively, to estimate the heritability. Results: The age of all participants was (34.2±12.4) years. This study's prevalence of hyperlipidemia was 1.3% (895/69 130). Twin pairs who were men, older, living in urban areas, married,had junior college degree or above, overweight, obese, insufficient physical activity, current smokers, ex-smokers, current drinkers, and ex-drinkers had a higher prevalence of hyperlipidemia (P<0.05). In within-pair analysis, the concordance rate of hyperlipidemia was 29.1% (118/405) in MZ and 18.1% (57/315) in DZ, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Stratified by gender, age, and region, the concordance rate of hyperlipidemia in MZ was still higher than that in DZ. Further, in within-same-sex twin pair analyses, the heritability of hyperlipidemia was 13.04% (95%CI: 2.61%-23.47%) in the northern group and 18.59% (95%CI: 4.43%-32.74%) in the female group, respectively. Conclusions: Adult twins were included in this study and were found to have a lower prevalence of hyperlipidemia than in the general population study, with population and regional differences. Genetic factors influence hyperlipidemia, but the genetic effect may vary with gender and area.

Objective: To identify the expression profile of circular RNA (circRNA) in placenta of pre-eclampsia (PE) pregnant women by high-throughput sequencing, and to construct the circRNA-microRNA (miRNA)-messenger RNA (mRNA) interaction network, so as to reveal the related pathways and regulatory mechanisms of PE. Methods: The clinical data and placentas of 42 women with PE (PE group) and 30 normal pregnant women (control group) who delivered in West China Second University Hospital from November 2019 to June 2021 were collected. (1) High-throughput sequencing was used to establish the differentially expressed circRNA profiles in placental tissues of 5 pairs of PE group and the control group. (2) Real-time quantitative PCR (qRT-PCR) was used to verify the expression levels of 6 differentially expressed circRNAs in placental tissues of PE group and control group. (3) Bioinformatics analysis was used to predict the target miRNA and analyze the co-expressed mRNA to construct a competitive endogenous RNA (ceRNA) network. The differentially expressed circRNAs were analyzed by Gene ontology (GO) and Kyoto encyclopedia of genes and genomes (KEGG) pathways. (4) Logistic regression analysis, Pearson correlation and Kendall's tau-b correlation analysis were used to test the correlation between the three differentially expressed circRNAs and the risk of PE and clinical characteristics. (5) circRNA_05393 was selected for subsequent functional study. Small interfering RNA (siRNA) and overexpression plasmid were used to knock down or increase the expression level of circRNA_05393 in trophoblast cell line HTR-8/SVneo cells, respectively. Transwell assay was used to detect the migration and invasion ability of the trophoblasts in vitro. Cell counting kit-8 assay was used to detect the proliferation ability of the trophoblasts. Results: (1) Seventy-two differentially expressed circRNAs were identified by high-throughput sequencing, of which 35 were up-regulated and 37 were down-regulated. (2) qRT-PCR showed that compared with the control group, circRNA_00673 (1.306±0.168 vs 2.059±0.242; t=2.356, P=0.021) and circRNA_07796 (1.275±0.232 vs 1.954±0.230; t=2.018, P=0.047) were significantly increased, while circRNA_05393 (1.846±0.377 vs 0.790±0.094; t=3.138, P=0.002) was significantly decreased. (3) The circRNA-miRNA-mRNA interaction network contained 3 circRNAs, 8 miRNAs and 53 mRNAs. GO functional annotation analysis showed that the biological process was mainly enriched in iron ion homeostasis, membrane depolarization during action potential and neuronal action potential. In terms of cellular components, they were mainly enriched in cytoskeleton and membrane components. In terms of molecular function, they were mainly enriched in the activity of voltage-gated sodium channel and basic amino acid transmembrane transporter. KEGG pathway enrichment analysis showed that mRNAs in the interaction network were mainly enriched in complement and coagulation cascade, glycine, serine and threonine metabolism, p53 signaling pathway and peroxisome proliferators-activated receptors (PPAR) signaling pathway. (4) Logistic regression analysis showed that down-regulation of circRNA_05393 expression was a risk factor for PE (OR=0.044, 95%CI: 0.003-0.596; P=0.019). Correlation analysis showed that circRNA_05393 was significantly correlated with systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure in PE pregnant women (both P<0.05). (5) Knock down or overexpression of circRNA_05393 significantly reduced or increased the migration and invasion abilities of HTR-8/SVneo cells (all P<0.05), but had no significant effect on the ability of tube formation and proliferation (all P>0.05). Conclusions: The construction of circRNA expression profile in placenta and the exploration of circRNA-miRNA-mRNA interaction network provide the possibility to reveal the regulatory mechanism of specific circRNA involved in PE. Inhibition of circRNA_05393 may induce the progression of PE by reducing the migration and invasion of trophoblasts.

Twelve compounds were isolated from Liquidambaris Resina by silica gel column chromatography and thin layer chromatography. Their structures were identified on the basis of spectral data, electron capture detector data, and physicochemical properties as(2'R, 3'R)-2',3'-dihydroxy-hydrocinnamyl-(E)-cinnamate(1),(E)-cinnamyl-(E)-cinnamate(2), cinnamic acid(3), 28-norlup-20(29)-en-3-one-17β-hydroperoxide(4), erythrodiol(5), 13β,28-epoxy-30-hydroxyolean-1-en-3-one(6),(3β)-olean-12-ene-3,23-diol(7), 2α,3α-dihydroxy-olean-12-en-28-oic acid(8), 28-hydroxyolean-12-en-3-one(9), 3-epi-oleanolic acid(10), 3-oxo-oleanolic acid(11), and hederagenin(12). Compound 1 was a new cinnamic acid ester derivative and compounds 2-4,6-8, and 12 were isolated from Liquidambaris Resina for the first time. Compounds 4, 5, 10, and 12 exerted inhibitory effects on the proliferation of human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVEC) with the IC_(50) values of(17.43±2.17),(35.32±0.61),(27.50±0.80), and(46.30±0.30) μmol·L~(-1), respectively.

Lixuwang~® Xuesaitong Soft Capsules(referred to as "Xuesaitong Soft Capsules") have the effects of promoting blood circulation, resolving blood stasis, and dredging meridians and collaterals. They are widely used in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases in clinical practice. Through years of clinical observation, they have shown significant efficacy in ischemic stroke, coronary heart disease, and other diseases, and have been recommended by multiple guidelines, consensus statements, and monographs. Based on the summary of clinical application experience by doctors and existing evidence-based research, following the Technical Specifications for Consensus Development of Chinese Patent Medicine by Clinical Experts issued by Standardization Office of the Chinese Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a nominal group method was used to reach 19 recommended opinions/consensus suggestions. This document proposes the timing of medication, syndrome differentiation for medication, therapeutic effects, dosage and administration, treatment duration, economic considerations, and safety considerations in the use of Xuesaitong Soft Capsules for the treatment of ischemic stroke and angina pectoris in coronary heart disease. It is intended for doctors in internal medicine, encephalopathy(neurology), cardiovascular medicine, geriatrics, emergency medicine, general practice, and traditional Chinese medicine departments of various medical institutions, as well as pharmacists in hospitals and pharmacies, as a medication reference when using Xuesaitong Soft Capsules. It is hoped that the widespread application of this consensus can improve the clinical efficacy of Xuesaitong Soft Capsules in the treatment of ischemic stroke and coronary heart disease, promote rational drug use, and reduce medication risks. This consensus has been reviewed and published by the China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, with the identification number GS/CACM 323-2023.
