Objective Establishment and evaluation of a mouse model of aldosterone-induced multi-organ damage.Methods Twenty mice were randomly divided into four groups,with five mice in each group:a blank control group(0 μg/(kg·d)),a low-dose aldosterone group(150 μg/(kg·d))),a medium-dose aldosterone group(300 μg/(kg d)),and a high-dose aldosterone group(450 pug/(kg·d)).Aldosterone-containing osmotic minipumps were surgically implanted under the skin,and aldosterone was infused for 4 weeks to establish the aldosterone-induced damage model.The body weight and blood pressure of the mice were recorded weekly.After the 4 week modeling period,the mice were euthanized,and their tissues were collected for observation and analysis of blood pressure and histological morphology of various organs.Results(1)After 4 weeks of aldosterone infusion,the serum aldosterone levels were significantly increased in the medium-dose and high-dose aldosterone groups,but not in the low-dose aldosterone group.(2)After the implantation of osmotic minipumps,the systolic blood pressure was significantly increased in the low-dose,medium-dose,and high-dose aldosterone groups during the second and third weeks,but decreased in all these groups during the fourth week.(3)The kidney and heart in the low-dose,medium-dose,and high-dose aldosterone groups showed varying degrees of damage,interstitial edema,collagen deposition,and fibrotic lesions.The liver in the low-dose aldosterone group showed a small amount of collagen deposition,while the medium-dose and high-dose aldosterone groups showed varying degrees of hepatocyte damage,collagen deposition,and fibrotic lesions.Conclusions Aldosterone can induce multi-organ damage in mice.Under this modeling method,organ damage is mainly manifested as edema,collagen deposition,and fibrotic lesions.

Pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasm (pNEN) is the most common neuroendocrine tumor in the digestive system. The heterogeneity of pNEN makes it difficult to summarize diagnostic and therapeutic strategies only based on clinical experience. Over the past 20 years, basic research on pNEN has been well developed, which in turn has promoted its theoretical system and diagnostic and therapeutic strategies, significantly improving the therapeutic efficacy of pNEN. In this paper, we review the development of basic research on pNEN in recent years and discuss its role in clinical diagnosis and treatment. On the one hand, the development of basic research can further reveal the nature of the differential biological behavior of pNEN and provide clinical reference; on the other hand, reference to the migratory basic research results in other tumor fields is also conducive to improving the clinical diagnosis and treatment level of pNEN.

Objective:To analyze the incidence of fatigue in the seafarers undertaking long-term maritime work and the correlation between Traditional Chinese Medicine（TCM）constitution and fatigue，so as to provide basic data support for formulating constitution conditioning programs.Methods:An epidemiological survey of fatigue and TCM constitution was conducted in 425 males who had been working at sea for 50 days by cross-sectional sampling method with TCM constitution scale and modified Fatigue Impact Scale.Results:The number of people with balanced constitution was the largest，accounting for 49.18%；the top three imbalanced constitutions were qi deficiency constitution（11.29%）， yang deficiency constitution（9.41%），and phlegm dampness constitution（9.18%）. The overall fatigue rate was 16.71%. The fatigue rate of people with balanced constitution was the lowest，accounting for 0.96%；among the people with imbalanced constitutions，the fatigue rate of people with qi stagnation was the highest（58.33%），followed by the people with qi deficiency（45.83%）. Statistical analysis based on the average rank of fatigue scores showed that the fatigue score of the people with balanced constitution was significantly lower than those of the people with imbalanced constitutions（ P<0.05）. Conclusion:Balanced constitution， qi deficiency constitution，and yang deficiency constitution are the common TCM constitution types in the seafarers undertaking long-term maritime work. There is a certain correlation between TCM constitution and fatigue. The people with qi stagnation and qi deficiency constitutions are more prone to fatigue.

Objective:To investigate the risk factors for early complications after laparoscopy-assisted gastrectomy in patients with gastric cancer.Methods:The retrospective case-control study was conducted. The clinicopathological data of 196 patients who underwent laparos-copy-assisted radical gastrectomy at Peking Union Medical College Hospital from March 2016 to March 2019 were collected. There were 144 males and 52 females, aged (61±10)years. Observation indicators: (1) early complications after laparoscopy-assisted radical gastrectomy and treatment; (2) analysis of risk factors for early complications after laparoscopy-assisted radical gastrectomy.Measurement data with normal distribution were represented as Mean± SD, and measurement data with skewed distribution were represented as M( P25,P75). Count data were represented as absolute numbers. Univariate analysis was conducted using the t test, Mann-Whitney U test or chi-square test. Multivariate analysis was conducted using the Logistic regressional model. Results:(1) Early complications after laparoscopy-assisted radical gastrectomy and treatment: 51 of 196 patients had early postoperative complications, including 7 cases of grade Ⅰ according to Clavien-Dindo classi-fication system, 32 cases of grade Ⅱ, 9 cases of grade Ⅲa, 3 cases of grade Ⅲb. There was no grade Ⅳ or Ⅴ complication. There were 25 cases with abdominal complications, 7 cases with thoracic complications, 3 cases with internal/catheter related complications and 16 cases with other unclassified complications. All patients with complications were improved after symptomatic and supportive treatments. (2) Analysis of risk factors for early complications after laparoscopy-assisted radical gastrectomy: results of univariate analysis showed that the lymphocyte count, neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio, radiotherapy, operation time, volume of intraoperative blood loss, T stage, lymph node metastasis were related factors for early complications after laparoscopy-assisted radical gastrectomy in patients with gastric cancer ( Z=?2.048, χ2=6.385, 4.168, 8.068, 6.336, 12.497, 7.522, P<0.05). Results of multivariate analysis showed that the neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio ≥1.96, operation time ≥222 minutes, and lymph node metastasis were independent risk factors for early complica-tions after laparoscopy-assisted radical gastrectomy in patients with gastric cancer ( odds ratio=2.279, 2.245, 2.226, 95% confidence interval as 1.149-4.519, 1.116-4.517, 1.125-4.402, P<0.05). Conclusions:The abdominal complications are the most common early complications after laparoscopy-assisted radical gastrectomy. The neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio ≥1.96, operation time ≥222 minutes, and lymph node metastasis are independent risk factors for early complications after laparoscopy-assisted radical gastrectomy in patients with gastric cancer.

Objective To ratiocinate the formula of relationship between opening size of laminoplasty and the increment of sagittal canal diameter following double-door cervical laminoplasty and to predict the increment of sagittal canal diameter and the cross sectional area of canal according to the opening size of laminoplasty.Methods Twenty patients (12 males and 8 females) with multilevel cervical spondylotic myelopathy had undergone double-door cervical laminoplasty (C3-C7 in 9 patients and C3-C6 in 11 patients,89 segments) in our institution between September 2010 and January 2013.The formula describing the relationship between the opening size of laminoplasty and the increment of sagittal diameter was deduced.The parameters of pre-and post-operative computed tomography scans of 20 patients who had undergone laminoplasty surgery were measured by picture archiving and communication system (PACS) software,and the increment of sagittal canal diameter and the cross sectional area of canal were predicted when the opening size of laminoplasty were 6 mm,8 mm,10 mm,12 mm,14 mm and 16 mm according to the formula.Results Increment of sagittal canal diameter and canal area respectively showed significant difference in the same segment laminoplasty.Increment of sagittal canal diameter between various groups in the same segment (C3-C6) showed significant difference.Increment of sagittal canal diameter between the opening size of 14 mm and 16 mm in C7 laminoplasty showed no significant difference.Increment of sagittal canal diameter was increased steadily following C3-C7 double-door laminoplasty with opening sizes of 6 mm,8 mm,10 mm,12 mm,14mm and 16mm,but the increasing trend in sagittal canal diameter diminished gradually.Conclusion Increment of sagittal canal diameter and canal area following C3-C7 laminoplasty can be accurately predicted according to the opening size of laminoplasty by this formula.The formula can help operator to perform double-door cervical laminoplasty based on accurate individual laminoplasty opening size,which prevents inadequate or excessive opening.

Objective To estimate the pharmacoeconomics of two remedy scheme in curing acute cerebral infarction. Method In 212 cases with acute cerebral infarction patients, 206 cases were adopted, and randomly divided into two group. Group A was 102 cases and Group B was 104 cases. Group A was administered with 18 ml cattle encephalon glycoside which was added into 250 ml 5%glucose injection, ivgtt, qd. After 7 days it was administered compound Butylphthalide Soft Capsules, 0.2 g qid, combined Xiaoshuantongluo capsule, 2.1 g tid until 14 days later. Group B was administered with cattle encephalon glycoside and ignotin injection 18 ml which was added into 250 ml 5%glucose injection, ivgtt, qd until 14 days. The basic therapy of two groups were same. After therapy compared the safety and clinic curative effect from European Stroke Scale(ESS) and activities of daily living(ADL).Then outcome-effectiveness was assayed in pharmacoeconomics. Results The total effective rate were 92.2 and 95.2%,and ccurrence of adverse react were 4.7 and 7.5, respectively,in the two group.The clinic total effective rate counting C/E was respectively 129.1 and 178.5;ΔC/ΔE was 1697.7. Conclusion The clinic curative effect of two group was intimate, but the cost had signiifcant difference. The sequential antimicrobial therapy in curing acute cerebral infarction had excellent advantage in outcome-effectiveness.
