China Modern Doctor 2025;63(19):55-58
Objective To explore the effect of Shengqing Yisui Kaiqiao acupuncture combined with Buyang Huanwu Tang on movement disorder and homocysteine(Hcy)in patients with ischemic stroke(IS).Methods A total of 160 patients with IS who visited Tai'an Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2022 to August 2024 were selected and divided into combined group(54 cases),acupuncture group(53 cases),and traditional Chinese medicine group(53 cases)according to the random number table method. The Fugl-Meyer assessment(FMA)scale, modified Barthel index(MBI),manual muscle test(MMT),Hcy and blood lipid indicators of three groups of patients before and after treatment were compared. Results After the treatment, the FMA,MBI and MMT scores of patients in combined group were significantly higher than those in acupuncture group and traditional Chinese medicine group(P<0.05),and the levels of Hcy,total cholesterol, triglycerides and low density lipoprotein-cholesterol were significantly lower than those in acupuncture group and traditional Chinese medicine group(P<0.05).The effective rate of treatment in combined group was significantly higher than that in acupuncture group and traditional Chinese medicine group(P<0.05).Conclusion The Shengqing Yisui Kaiqiao acupuncture combined with Buyang Huanwu Tang in treatment of IS can significantly improve the limb motor function of patients and reduce the levels of Hcy and blood lipid.

Immune checkpoint inhibitor-related pneumonitis(CIP)is a relatively common immune-related adverse event. The current treatment for CIP mainly relies on glucocorticoids, with 70%~80%of patients being controlled by conventional glucocorticoid therapy.However,steroid-unresponsive CIP is often se-vere and can be life-threatening.There is no standard treatment protocol for steroid-unresponsive CIP,highlighting a significant unmet clinical need. This paper reviews the diagnosis, treatment progress, and exploratory research of steroid-unresponsive CIP to provide evidence-based guidelines and directions for clinical and translational research.

Objective To observe the effect of acupuncture combined with integrated Chinese-Western neuromuscular facilitation technique on persistent vegetative state (PVS).Methods41 PVS cases were randomly divided into the observation group (n=21) and control group (n=20). The observation group was treated with acupuncture, neuromuscular facilitation technique combined with reasonable obligatory exercise, neuromuscular electrical stimulation, manipulation treatment and Chinese medicine. The control group was treated with the Western and Chinese medicines, and hyperbaric oxygen.ResultsAfter 1~3 months treatment, 7 cases cured,8 cases were markedly effective, 5 cases were effective, 1 cases were ineffective in the observation group with a total markedly effective rate (71.4%) and effective rate (95.2%). While, in the control group, 3 cases cured, 5 cases were markedly effective, 6 cases were effective, 6 cases were ineffective and total markedly effective rate was 40%, effective rate was 70%. There was a significant difference between the two groups in the total markedly effective rate and the effective rate ( P<0.05). The average PVS score increased by 7.46±1.22 in the observation group and 4.59±1.21 in the control group. Also there was a significant difference between the two groups ( P<0.001).ConclusionThe therapy of acupuncture combined with integrated Chinese-Western neuromuscular facilitation technique can markedly promote PVS patients coming round and improve patients' prognosis.
