Objective To systematically analyze the literature characteristics of Journal of Organ Transplantation since its inception. Methods Using the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) academic journal full-text database as the data source, all articles published in the Journal of Organ Transplantation from January 2010 to August 2025 were retrieved. After excluding non-academic papers, a total of 1 568 research papers were included. R language 4.3.0, Bibliometrix package 3.2.1, and Citespace software were used to analyze the number of publications, publishing institutions, authors, keywords and other aspects. Results The number of publications in Journal of Organ Transplantation increased from an average of 82 articles per year in the early years after its inception to 113 articles per year in recent years, a growth of 37.8%. The geographical distribution of publishing institutions covers 32 provinces, cities and autonomous regions nationwide, mainly concentrated in the South China, East China and North China regions, and has now basically covered the central and western regions in recent years. The author collaboration network includes 45 authors distributed across 7 major collaboration clusters, forming a stable multi-level national research system centered on key university-affiliated hospitals. The high-frequency keywords are dominated by "liver transplantation" (425 times) and "kidney transplantation" (396 times). The theme evolution shows a clear three-stage characteristic: initially focusing on clinical technology application, deepening to immune mechanism exploration in the middle stage, and recently (since 2022) focusing on cutting-edge research areas such as xenotransplantation. Conclusions Journal of Organ Transplantation has witnessed the rapid development of China's organ transplantation cause, fully reflecting the research status and trends in China's organ transplantation field, and has provided an important platform for the future development and international cooperation in China's organ transplantation field.
2.Imaging characteristics of patients with cerebral autosomal dominant arteriopathy with subcortical infarcts and leukoencephalopathy carrying cysteine-altering or non-cysteine-altering NOTCH3 mutations
Journal of Apoplexy and Nervous Diseases 2026;43(2):140-144
Objective To investigate the imaging characteristics of patients with cerebral autosomal dominant arteriopathy with subcortical infarcts and leukoencephalopathy (CADASIL)carrying cysteine-altering versus non-cysteine-altering NOTCH3 mutations. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed for 19 patients with CADASIL who attended Department of Neurology,The Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou Medical University, among whom there were 16 patients with cysteine-altering mutations and 3 with non-cysteine-altering mutations, and PubMed database was searched to obtain 192 cases (158 patients with cysteine-altering mutations and 34 with non-cysteine-altering mutations). The impact of these two types of mutations on lesion distribution in the temporal pole and external capsule was analyzed. Results The cysteine-altering mutation group had a significantly higher risk of temporal pole lesions compared with the non-cysteine-altering mutation group (OR=2.99,95%CI 1.37‒6.51,P=0.006), and there was no significant difference in external capsule lesions between the two groups (OR=2.31,95%CI 0.75‒6.48,P=0.12). External capsule lesions were associated with age (OR=1.04,95%CI 1.01‒1.07, P=0.02).Sex showed no significant influence on lesion distribution(OR=1.72,95%CI 0.67‒4.67,P=0.27;temporal pole:OR=0.54,95%CI 0.27‒1.05, P=0.07). Conclusion Cysteine-altering NOTCH3 mutations are an independent risk factor for temporal pole lesions, while external capsule lesions are closely associated with age. This suggests that temporal pole lesions might be a specific imaging marker for cysteine-altering mutations, whereas external capsule lesions can reflect age-related disease progression.

Objective To explore the relationship between intestinal flora imbalance and pulmonary function in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and to analyze the related influencing factors. Methods A total of 310 patients with COPD who were admitted to Air Force Military Medical University Tangdu Hospital from June 2022 to December 2024 were retrospectively analyzed. Based on intestinal flora status, the enrolled patients were classified into imbalance group (n=83) and non-imbalance group (n=227). Logistic regression analysis was conducted to analyze the independent related factors of intestinal flora imbalance in COPD patients. Based on the above factors, a prediction model was constructed, and ROC curve analysis model was applied to analyze the predictive value of the model on intestinal flora imbalance. Results Logistic regression analysis revealed that age, IL-6, albumin, pulmonary function, long-term bed rest and long-term use of antibiotics were related to intestinal flora imbalance in COPD patients (all P<0.05). ROC results of the Logistic prediction model showed that the area under the curve, sensitivity, specificity and 95%CI were 0.961, 0.880, 0.996 and 0.932-0.989 respectively. Conclusion The intestinal flora imbalance in patients with COPD is closely related to lung function, age, inflammatory status, nutritional indicators, activity ability and antibiotic use.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2025;46(8):1170-1174
Objective:
To explore the association between the joint association of screen time on weekdays and weekends with self rated sleep quality among adolescents, providing scientific basis for improving adolescent sleep health.
Methods:
Using data from "Huantai Children s Cardiovascular Health Follow up Cohort" survey conducted during November to December 2023, a total of 1 197 adolescents aged 12-17 years with complete demographic characteristics, physical measurements, and questionnaire data were included. The dose response relationship between screen time and sleep quality was evaluated by restrictive cubic splines (RCS). Based on screen time on weekdays and weekends (normal: < 2 h/d; excessive: ≥ 2 h/d), adolescents were categorized into 4 groups. Multivariate Logistic regression models were used to analyze the association between the combined effect of screen time on weekdays and weekends and sleep quality.
Results:
The RCS analysis results showed that there was a linear dose response relationship between average daily screen time and poor sleep quality in adolescents (non linear P >0.05). The results of multiple Logistic regression analysis showed that adjusting for potential covariates, compared with adolescents having normal screen time on both weekdays and weekends, those with excessive screen time on both weekdays and weekends had increased risk of poor sleep quality ( OR=2.51, 95%CI=1.33-4.62, P <0.01). Sex stratified analysis revealed that girls with excessive screen time on both weekdays and weekends had increased odds of poor sleep quality ( OR=3.03, 95%CI=1.23-7.14, P =0.01), compared to girls who had normal screen time on both weekdays and weekends.
Conclusions
A linear dose response relationship exists between daily screen time and poor sleep quality in adolescents. Excessive screen time on both weekdays and weekends is positively associated with poor sleep quality, particularly more pronounced among female adolescents.
5.The effect and mechanism of valsartan on energy metabolism of mice
Journal of Capital Medical University 2025;46(1):106-114
Objective To study the effect and possible mechanism of angiotensin Ⅱ receptor blocker(ARB)on energy metabolism in mice. Methods ① Male 6-week-old C57BL/6N mice were fed with normal diet(ND)and high-fat diet(HFD)for 6 weeks, then detect their body weight and fasting blood glucose.② The diabetic mice induced by high-fat diet were randomly divided into control group(Con)and drug treatment group(ARB).They were administered with saline and valsartan at a dose of 3 mg/kg per day via gastric lavage for 6 weeks. After that, the body weight, body temperature, intraperitoneal glucose tolerance test, respiratory metabolism rate,hematoxylin-eosin staining of adipose tissue, and the expression of thermogenesis-related genes in brown adipose tissue were examined.③By using male 6-week-old db/db mice as the experimental subjects, they were also administered with saline and valsartan at a dose of 3 mg/kg per day via gastric lavage for 5 weeks. After that, the body weight, fasting blood glucose, and body temperature were measured. Results High-fat diet successfully induced the diabetic mouse model.Valsartan treatment significantly reduced the weight gain rate of HFD mice and the body weight of db/db mice, increased the body temperature of HFD mice in a 4℃cold environment, and improved the energy expenditure of HFD mice, but had no significant improvement on glucose metabolism in HFD mice.Compared with the control group, the fasting blood glucose level of db/db mice was significantly reduced after valsartan treatment, and the body temperature showed an upward trend after 2 h and 3 h of cold treatment at 4 ℃,but the difference was not statistically significant. In addition, for HFD mice, valsartan treatment significantly reduced the cell volume of brown adipocyte, subcutaneous adipocyte, and epididymal adipocyte. At the mRNA level, valsartan promoted the expression of UCP1 in brown adipose tissue, while the expression of Prdm16,PGC1α and AP2 expression did not change significantly. Conclusions Valsartan can improve energy metabolism in obese mice, and its mechanism may be related to the positive effects of ARB on the thermogenesis of brown adipose tissue.

BACKGROUND:Studies have shown that intradiscal injection of syringin solution can improve the structure and function of the intervertebral disc, prevent and slow down the process of intervertebral disc degeneration in rats. However, the biological half-life of syringin is short and it is difficult for it to continue to play a role in the intervertebral disc. Its bioavailability needs to be further improved.OBJECTIVE:To observe the effect of syringin-chitosan hydrogel on intervertebral disc degeneration in rats and the mechanism of syringin in the treatment of intervertebral disc degeneration.METHODS:(1)Cell experiment:Passages 2-5 rat nucleus pulposus cells were divided into four groups for treatment. The normal control group did not undergo any treatment. The degeneration group was added with interleukin-1β(to establish the intervertebral disc degeneration cell model). The drug group was added with interleukin-1β and syringing. The inhibitor group was added with interleukin-1β,syringing,and phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase(PI3K)inhibitor LY294002.After 24 hours of treatment, apoptosis, extracellular matrix, oxidative stress, and apoptosis-related proteins and PI3K/protein kinase B(AKT)signaling pathway proteins were detected respectively.(2)Animal experiment:Syringin-chitosan hydrogels were prepared, and the micromorphology and slow-release properties of the hydrogels were tested.Thirty SD rats were randomly divided into model control group, model intervention group, hydrogel group, syringin solution group, and syringin hydrogel group, with 6 rats in each group. The intervertebral disc degeneration model was established by the acupuncture method.Immediately after model establishment, the rats in model intervention group, hydrogel group, syringin solution group, and syringin hydrogel group were injected with PBS,chitosan hydrogel, syringin solution, and syringin-chitosan hydrogel, respectively. The samples were taken 8 weeks after modeling for histological detection.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)Cell experiment:Compared with the normal control group, apoptosis rate, reactive oxygen species level, and expression of BAX,cleaved caspase-9,cleaved caspase-3,and matrix metalloproteinase 13 protein were increased in the nucleus pulpocytes in the degeneration group(P<0.05),and the expression levels of p-PI3K,p-AKT,BCL-2,and type Ⅱ collagen were decreased(P<0.05).Superoxide dismutase activity decreased(P<0.05).Compared with the degeneration group, apoptotic rate, reactive oxygen species level, and expression of BAX,cleaved caspase-9,cleaved caspase-3,and matrix metalloproteinase 13 protein were decreased in the syringin solution and syringin solution groups(P<0.05),and expression levels of p-PI3K,p-AKT,BCL-2,and type Ⅱ collagen were increased(P<0.05).Superoxide dismutase activity increased(P<0.05).LY294002 could partially inhibit the effect of syringin.(2)Animal experiment:Syringin-chitosan hydrogel had a loose porous structure and good slow-release performance.Hematoxylin-eosin and safranin O-fast green staining showed that compared with the model control group and model intervention group, chitosan hydrogel, syringin solution and syringing-chitosan hydrogel could improve the intervertebral disc degeneration in different degrees, and the therapeutic effect of syringing-chitosan hydrogel was better than that of hydrogel and drug solution alone.(3)These findings indicate that syringin can regulate apoptosis of nucleus pulposus cells and extracellular matrix degradation induced by oxidative stress by activating PI3K/AKT signaling pathway, thus delaying disc degeneration.Compared with syringin injection alone, syringin loading in chitosan hydrogel can further delay the progression of intervertebral disc degeneration in rats.

Objective To investigate the effects of emergency endovascular treatment on the short-term and long-term prognosis of patients with minor stroke(National Institutes of Health stroke scale[NIHSS]score≤5)caused by posterior circulation large vessel occlusion(LVO).Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on consecutive patients with minor stroke caused by posterior circulation LVO admitted to the Department of Neurology, the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University from July 2019 to March 2024.The patients were divided into the emergency endovascular treatment group and the standard medical treatment group according to the treatment method.Baseline and clinical data were collected from all patients enrolled, including age, sex, smoking history, history of alcohol consumption, medical history(hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, atrial fibrillation, transient ischemic attack[TIA],blood pressure on admission, stroke history, coronary heart disease),intravenous thrombolysis, tandem lesions, posterior circulation Alberta stroke program early CT score(pc-ASPECTS)on admission,NIHSS score on admission and discharge, time from onset to admission, responsible occluded vessel(basilar artery, left vertebral artery, right vertebral artery),vertebral artery development(left vertebral artery dominant, right vertebral artery dominant, bilateral vertebral artery dominant),non-lesion side vertebral artery development(poor, good, not applicable),basilar artery on CT angiography(BATMAN)score, leptomeningeal branch compensation(open, not open),surgery-related indicators(number of thrombectomy passes[≤2 times,>2 times],rescue interventions[stent placement, balloon dilation, arterial thrombolysis,intra-arterial tirofiban infusion],immediate postoperative modified thrombolysis in cerebral infarction[mTICI]grade≥2b[successful recanalization],anesthesia method[general, local],endotracheal intubation status[yes,no],duration of mechanical ventilation[not using a ventilator or successfully intubation for≤24 hours and>24 hours]),in-hospital systematic complications(deep-vein thrombosis, urinary tract infection, lung infection). The primary outcome for short-term prognosis was an excellent outcome(modified Rankin scale[mRS]score of 0-1)within 90 days after onset.Secondary outcomes included a good outcome(mRS score of 0-2)within 90days after onset, recurrent ischemic stroke within 90 days after onset,all-cause mortality within 90 days after onset.Safety outcomes were symptomatic intracerebral hemorrhage(sICH)within 24 hours of treatment(NIHSS score increased by≥4 points or increased level of consciousness score by≥1 point compared with admission, with visible hemorrhagic lesions on follow-up CT scan)and early neurological deterioration(END,NIHSS score increased by≥2 points or motor score increased by≥1 point compared with admission, within 24 hours after treatment).Long-term outcome was defined as recurrent ischemic stroke within 1 year after onset.Short-term and safety outcomes were compared between the emergency endovascular treatment group and the standard medical treatment group.Kaplan-Meier survival curves was used to evaluate the effect of emergency endovascular treatment on the long-term prognosis.Based on the mRS score at 90 days from onset, all patients were divided into an excellent outcome(mRS score 0-1)group and a non-excellent outcome(mRS score 2-6)group.Baseline and clinical data were compared across the two groups.Variables with statistically significant differences were included in the multivariate Logistic regression analysis to investigate the influencing factor of 90-day excellent outcomes in patients with minor stroke caused by posterior circulation LVO.Results A total of 56 patients with minor stroke caused by posterior circulation LVO were enrolled, including 18 patients in the emergency endovascular treatment group and 38 pc-ASPECTS on admission(8.0[7.0,9.0]points vs.9.0[8.0,10.0]points,P=0.043)and There were no statistically significant differences in the excellent outcome rate, good outcome rate, and ischemic stroke recurrence rate within 90 days after onset between the two groups(all P>0.05).No all-cause mortality occurred within 90 days after onset in either group. In the emergency endovascular treatment group, one patient developed sICH and one developed END within 24 hours after treatment.(3)No recurrent ischemic stroke in the emergency endovascular treatment group within 1 year after onset, while 3cases(7.89%)of recurrence were observed within 1year after onset in the standard medical treatment group. The Kaplan-Meier survival curve analysis showed that there was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of ischemic stroke within one year after onset between the two groups(P=0.341).(4)There were statistically significant differences between patients with excellent outcome and patients with non excellent outcome in drinking history, diabetes history,NIHSS score after discharge, distribution of responsible occlusive vessels, and distribution of vertebral artery development(all P<0.05).The results of multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that the NIHSS score at discharge was an independent influencing factor for excellent outcome at 90 days after onset in patients with minor stroke caused by posterior circulation LVO(OR,0.448,95%CI 0.275-0.728,P=0.001).Conclusions This study shows potential safety and effectiveness of emergency endovascular treatment on patients with minor stroke caused by posterior circulation LVO,but it is not superior to standard medical treatment in terms of short-term and long-term outcomes.Further large-sample randomized controlled trials are warranted to validate the findings of this study.
