Objective To exploring the effect of inflammatory indicators on the outcome of assisted conception of in vitro fertilization/intracytoplasmic sperm injection(IVF/ICSI)in patients with ovarian endometriosis(OEM).Methods The study subjects were selected as the patients with OEM who received IVF/ICSI treatment at the Third Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2019 to February 2024.Based on whether previous surgery for uterine endometriosis cyst removal had been performed,they were divided into non-surgery group(n=73)and surgery group(n=112).To explore the differences in inflammatory markers between two groups and to determine whether they have an impact on the outcome of assisted reproduction.Results The lymphocytes(L)and blastocyst formation rates of patients in surgery group were significantly higher than those in non-surgery group,platelet to lymphocyte ratio(PLR)and carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125)were significantly lower than those in non-surgery group(P＜0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in the clinical pregnancy rate and live birth rate between two groups of patients(P＞0.05).After adjusting for confounding factors,the results of multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that L,PLR,and CA125 had no statistically significant impact on the clinical pregnancy rate and live birth rate(P＞0.05).Both maternal age and the number of embryos transferred exerted a certain influence on clinical pregnancy rates and live birth rates(P＜0.05),furthermore,the type of embryo transferred had a significant effect on clinical pregnancy rates(P＜0.05).Conclusion Compared with non-surgery group,surgery group had higher L level and lower PRL and CA125 levels,but these changes did not significantly affect clinical pregnancy or live birth outcomes in OEM patients undergoing IVF/ICSI assisted reproduction.

Objective To explore the efficacy and postoperative complications of transnasal en-doscopic low temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation in the treatment of children with snoring.Methods Clinical materials of 278 children with snoring were analyzed retrospectively,and they were divided into control group(n=128)and observation group(n=150)according to different op-eration methods.The control group was treated with adenoidectomy and bilateral tonsillectomy,while the observation group was treated with transnasal endoscopic low temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation.Perioperative indicators,the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score,inflammatory factors[tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-4(IL-4)and interleukin-8(IL-8)],stress response indicators[malondialdehyde(MDA),superoxide dismutase(SOD)and glutathione(GSH)],venti-lation function indicators[apnea hyponea index(AHI),oxygen desaturation index(ODI),the lon-gest apnea time(LAT)and nocturnal lowest blood oxygen saturation(LSaO2)],the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)score and the incidence of complications were compared between the two groups.Results In the observation group,the operation time,symptom relief time and hospital stay were significantly shorter than those in the control group,while the intraoperative bleeding volume was significantly less than that in the control group(P＜0.05).The VAS scores of the observation group at 6,24,48 and 72 h after operation were significantly lower than those of the control group(P＜0.05).At 3 days after operation,serum TNF-α,IL-4 and IL-8 levels in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05);at 24 hours after operation,serum MDA level in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group,while the levels of SOD and GSH were significantly higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05);at 6 months after operation,AHI,ODI and LAT in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group,while the LSaO2 was significantly higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05);at 6 months after surgery,the PSQI score and incidence of complications in the observa-tion group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Tran-snasal endoscopic low temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation can reduce the levels of inflamma-tory factors,alleviate stress response,improve ventilation function,improve quality of sleep in chil-dren with snoring,and its safety is relatively high.

An increasing number of studies have recently indicated the important effects of gut microbes on various functions of the central nervous system.However, the underlying mechanisms by which gut microbiota regulate brain functions and behavioral phenotypes remain largely unknown. We therefore used isobaric tags for relative and absolute quantitation (iTRAQ)-based quantitative proteomic analysis to obtain proteomic profiles of the hippocampus in germ-free (GF), colonized GF, and specific pathogen-free (SPF) mice. We then integrated the resulting proteomic data with previously reported mRNA microarray data, to further explore the effects of gut microbes on host brain functions. We identified that 61 proteins were upregulated and 242 proteins were downregulated in GF mice compared with SPF mice. Of these, 124 proteins were significantly restored following gut microbiota colonization. Bioinformatic analysis of these significant proteins indicated that the glucocorticoid receptor signaling pathway and inflammation-related pathways were the most enriched disrupted pathways. This study provides new insights into the pathological mechanisms of gut microbiota-regulated diseases.

AIM:To investigate the expression of microRNA-193b(miR-193b) in the cervical tissues, and fur-ther to explore the effect of silencing miR-193b on diamminedichloroplatinum ( DDP)-treated HeLa cell viability.METH-ODS:The expression levels of miR-193b in different cervical tissues were examined by qPCR.After transfection of miR-193b-inhibitor, the cell migration was determined by Transwell assay, the sensitivity of HeLa cells to DDP was measured by MTT assay, the protein levels of phosphate and tension homology deleted on chromsome ten ( PTEN), protein kinase B (Akt), p-Akt and p-glycoprotein(P-gp) were determined by Western blot.RESULTS:The mRNA level of miR-193b was significantly increased in the cervical cancer tissues compared with normal cervical tissues ( P<0.05) .Knockdown of miR-193b obviously inhibited migration and enhanced sensitivity to DDP of HeLa cells (P<0.05).Additionally, after transfec-tion of miR-193b-inhibitor, the expression of PTEN was increased, whereas the protein levels of p-Akt and P-gp were de-creased (P<0.05).CONCLUSION:miR-193b is highly expressed in the cervical cancer tissues.Inhibition of miR-193b augments the sensitivity to DDP of HeLa cells, at least in part, through PTEN-PI3K/Akt signaling pathway.

With the occurrence of wireless sensor networks,low-load monitoring has a revolutionary change.Using wireless sensor networks,the whole monitoring system is composed of wireless electrocardiogram(ECG)sensors and wireless pulse wave sensors.Pulse wave signals from the temporal artery and ECG signals from the body synchronously were measured.Pulse Wave Transit Time was calculated.Both the wireless ECG sensor and the wireless pulse wave sensor were small sized and powered by button battery;the precision of time synchronization among sensors was less than 1 ms.The calculated Pulse Wave Transit Time changed slowly with deep breathing.The system iS able to work smoothly for continuous monitoting of Pulse Wave Transit Time in working conditions.
