Objective: To explore the effects of personality and sleep quality with psychological distress of junior and senior high school stduents, so as to provide a reference basis for precise interventions of junior and senior high school students mental health. Methods: In October 2023, a convenience sampling method was used to select 9 034 students aged 12-17 from Shiyan City as the study subjects. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) and Kessler Psychological Distress Scale (K10) were used to collect information on sleep quality and psychological distress of junior and senior high school stduents. Between group comparison was conducted by using t-test and Chi-square test. Generalized linear models were employed to analyze the interaction and joint effects of personality and sleep quality on psychological distress. Results: The generalized linear model analysis showed that the interaction between personality and sleep quality on psychological distress was statistically significant of junior and senior high school students(effect size=0.80, P <0.01). The general linear model analysis indicated that, after adjusting for variables such as age, gender, screen time, and daily sitting time with the extroverted and good sleep quality group as the reference, the introverted and poor sleep quality group had the largest mean difference in psychological distress scores (difference=0.51, P <0.05). When stratified by sleep quality, psychological distress scores were higher in the introverted and neutral personality groups with both poor and good sleep quality compared to the extroverted group (poor sleep quality: introverted difference=3.71, neutral difference=1.14; good sleep quality: introverted difference=2.23, neutral difference=0.57, all P < 0.05). When stratified by personality, psychological distress scores were higher in the poor sleep quality groups for introverted, neutral, and extroverted individuals compared to their good sleep quality counterparts (differences=8.66, 7.83, 7.34, all P < 0.05 ). Conclusions Personality and sleep quality have interactive and joint effects on psychological distress of junior and senior high school stduents. Personalized psychological interventions should be developed based on personality and sleep quality.

Objective To explore the expression of coagulation indexes in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and dry syndrome (pSS) and their relationships with inflammation and immune function. Methods A total of 61 patients with RA who were hospitalized in the Department of Rheumatology of Anhui Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 12 to September 9, 2024 were selected as the RA group. And 61 patients with pSS who were hospitalized in the Department of Rheumatology of the same hospital September 4, 2023, to August 17, 2024, were selected as the pSS group. 61 healthy individuals who underwent routine medical checkups at the Physical Examination Center of Anhui Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine during the same period were included as the control group. Baseline clinical indexes before treatment were collected from patients in each group, including prothrombin time(PT), international normalized ratio(INR), thrombia time(TT), fibrinogen(FBG), activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT), fibrin (ogen) degradation products(FDP) and D-Dimer(D-D). Results The expression levels of PT, FBG, TT, FDP, and D-D in the RA group, the pSS group, and the normal group were significantly different. The expression levels of PT, FBG, FDP, and D-D in the RA group were all higher than those in the pSS group and the control group, respectively. And the expression level of TT in the pSS group was lower than that in control group. ROC curve analysis showed that the AUC of PT was 0.638, the AUC of FBG was 0.899, the AUC of FDP was 0.866, and the AUC of D-D was 0.919 in the RA group compared with the normal group. And the AUC of coagulation indexes for joint diagnosis of RA was higher than that of the indexes detected individually. pSS group had an AUC of PT of 0.618 compared with that of the normal group. The AUC of TT was 0.645, and the AUC of coagulation indexes for the joint diagnosis of pSS was higher than the AUC of each index detected separately. Association rule analysis showed that elevated D-D in RA patients had a significant correlation with elevated hs-CRP, CCP and RF, and elevated FBG had a significant correlation with elevated hs-CRP, ESR, RF and CCP. Elevated D-D in pSS patients had a correlation with elevated hs-CRP and anti-SSA, and elevated INR has correlation with elevated hs-CRP, anti-SSA and anti-SSB. Correlation analysis showed that PT, INR, FBG, FDP, and D-D were positively correlated with CRP and ESR, and TT was negatively correlated with CRP and ESR in the RA group. FBG, FDP, and D-D were positively correlated with CRP and ESR in the pSS group. Moreover, coagulation indexes were positively correlated with immune indexes in RA group and pSS group which were all significant. The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that FBG was a positive correlate of hs-CRP and ESR in RA patients. For PSS patients, FBG and FDP were positive correlates of hs-CRP. APTT and FBG were positive correlates of ESR. Conclusion Compared with pSS, coagulation indexes (especially PT, FBG, FDP and D-D) are more informative for the early diagnosis of RA and the judgment of the degree of the disease, and can be used as an important predictor for the confirmation of the diagnosis of RA.

ObjectiveTo investigate the correlation between mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) body constitution types in the elderly, and to provide an evidence for the control of cognitive impairment in the elderly. MethodsThe elderly aged 65 and above who participated in the community physical examinations in a community of Changning District, Shanghai were selected as the research subjects. The cognitive function was assessed by using the Clock Drawing Test combined with the Ascertain Dementia 8-item Questionnaire (AD8), the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) and the Mini-mental State Examination (MMSE). The diagnostic criteria for MCI was identified based on the 2018 Chinese Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Dementia and Cognitive Disorders, along with the assessment results and clinical history information. The current investigation method was used to collect the basic information and the prevalence of chronic disease of the subjects through questionnaire inquiries. The elderly subjects’ ability to take care of themselves was evaluated based on the Elderly Self⁃Care Ability Evaluation Scale, while the TCM body constitution types were determined based on the Chinese Medicine Health Care Management Service Specification. The association of the detection rate of MCI with gender, education level, history of chronic disease and TCM body constitution types were analyzed lastly. ResultsA total of 2 351 elderly people were investigated, including 1 037 males and 1 314 females, with an average age of (74.11±6.15) years. 174 subjects, accounting for 7.40%, were identified with MCI. The highest detection rate of MCI in the elderly are those with a Qi stagnation constitution (10.8%), followed by those with a dampness-heat constitution (9.1%) and a Qi deficiency constitution (8.4%). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that advanced age, lower educational level, a history of tuberculosis, and TCM constitutions such as dampness-heat, Qi stagnation, and Qi deficiency were the potential risk factors for MCI. ConclusionThere is a significant association between TCM constitution types such as dampness-heat, Qi stagnation, and Qi deficiency with MCI. TCM techniques can be integrated into the health management services for the elderly population, and targeted interventions can be provided to those with imbalanced constitution types so as to reduce the risk of MCI.

Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is one of the most common types of cancer in the world and is an important cause for cancer death. Although the application of immunotherapy in recent years has greatly improved the prognosis of NSCLC, there are still huge challenges in the treatment of NSCLC. The immune microenvironment plays an important role in the process of NSCLC development, infiltration and metastasis, and they can interact and influence each other, forming a vicious circle. Notably, single-cell RNA sequencing enables high-resolution analysis of individual cells and is of great value in revealing cell types, cell evolution trajectories, molecular mechanisms of cell differentiation, and intercellular regulation within the immune microenvironment. Single-cell RNA sequencing is expected to uncover more promising immunotherapies. This article reviews the important researches and latest achievements of single-cell RNA sequencing in the immune microenvironment of NSCLC, and aims to explore the significance of applying single-cell RNA sequencing to analyze the immune microenvironment of NSCLC.

Objective To compare the short-term clinical effects of Da Vinci robot-assisted thoracic surgery (RATS) and video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) in the treatment of posterior mediastinal tumors, and to explore the advantages of RATS posterior mediastinal tumor resection. Methods The clinical data of patients who underwent posterior mediastinal tumors resection through the lateral chest approach admitted to the same medical group in the Department of Thoracic Surgery of the First Hospital of Lanzhou University between January 2019 to January 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. According to the different surgical methods, the patients were divided into a RATS group and a VATS group. The clinical data were compared between the two groups. Results A total of 85 patients were included in this study. There were 39 patients in the RATS group, including 25 females and 14 males, with an average age of 47.6±13.0 years, and 46 patients in the VATS group, including 14 males and 32 females, with an average age of 45.3±14.7 years. All patients completed the operation successfully. The hospitalization cost in the RATS group was significantly higher than that in the VATS group (P<0.001), and the white blood cell count and neutrophilic granulocyte percentage on the first day after operation in the RATS group were lower than those in the VATS group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The operative time, intraoperative bleeding, postoperative hospital stay, white blood cell count and neutrophil percentage on the third postoperative day, visual analogue scale score on the first and third postoperative days, duration of analgesic pump use, postoperative 12 h oxygen saturation (no oxygen inhalation), postoperative down bed time, total thoracic drainage volume, duration of drainage tube retention, and postoperative complication rates were not statistically different between the two groups (P>0.05). There was no perioperative death, conversion to thoracotomy or serious perioperative complications in both groups. Conclusion RATS resection of posterior mediastinal tumor via lateral thoracic approach is safe and feasible, and its short-term effect is similar to that of VATS via lateral thoracic single-hole approach. It is worth further comparative study to explore its benefit and cost performance.

OBJECTIVE To systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of thalidomide combined with aclacinomycin， granulocyte colony-stimulating factor and cytarabine （CAG） regimen in the treatment of elderly patients with acute myeloid leukemia （AML）. METHODS CNKI， Wanfang data， VIP， Sino Med， PubMed， Embase， the Cochrane Library and Web of Science were searched comprehensively from the inception to Aug. 27th， 2023. Randomized controlled trials （RCTs） about thalidomide combined with CAG regimen （trial group） versus CAG regimen （control group） in the treatment of elderly AML patients were collected， and RevMan 5.3 software was used for meta-analysis of included studies. RESULTS Finally， 7 RCTs were included， with a total of 601 patients， including 307 patients in the trial group and 294 patients in the control group. Meta-analysis results showed that the trial group was superior to the control group in enhancing the overall response rate [Z＝4.75， P＜0.000 01， OR＝2.80， 95%CI （1.83，4.28）]， complete remission rate [Z＝2.82， P＝0.005， OR＝1.61， 95%CI （1.16， 2.25）]， and improving platelet count [Z＝2.70， P＝0.007， MD＝64.02， 95%CI （17.53， 110.51）]， vascular endothelial growth factor [Z＝13.63，P＜0.000 01， MD＝－65.17， 95%CI（－74.54， －55.80）]， vascular endothelial growth factor receptor [Z＝12.03， P＜ 0.000 01， MD＝－499.01， 95%CI （－580.31， －417.71）] and basic fibroblast growth factor [Z＝4.17， P＜0.000 1，MD＝－0.23， 95%CI（－0.35， －0.12）]. And there was no statistical difference between the trial group and the control group in the incidence of adverse drug reaction [Z＝0.99， P＝0.32， OR＝0.52， 95%CI（0.14，1.89）]， nausea and vomiting [Z＝ 1.06， P＝0.29， OR＝0.66， 95%CI （0.30，1.43）]， constipation or diarrhea [Z＝0.92， P＝0.36， OR＝0.65， 95%CI（0.26， 1.63）]， drowsiness [Z＝1.38， P＝0.17， OR＝0.57， 95%CI（0.26， 1.27）] or myelosuppression [Z＝0.88，P＝0.38，OR＝0.68，95%CI（0.28， 1.62）]. CONCLUSIONS The combination of thalidomide and CAG regimen in the treatment of elderly AML patients can significantly improve clinical efficacy and has high safety.

In order to mine candidate vaccine antigens against ticks and to control ticks safely and effectively,the aim of this study was to immunize rabbits with purified aquaporins(AQPs)rD-mAQP1,rDmAQP2 and rDmAQP3 of Dermacentor marginatus.Blood collections for Western blot and ELISA tests were performed.The anti-tick challenge was conducted.The optimal expression conditions of rDmAQP1,rDmAQP2 and rDmAQP3 were screened by SDS-PAGE gel electrophore-sis.The three recombinant proteins were purified by HisSepNi-NTA6FF purification column.Rab-bits were divided into four groups of three rabbits each,including a control group and three immu-nized groups.The three purified recombinant proteins were separately immunized to three groups of rabbits,and the rabbits were immunized once on the 0th,14th and 21st day.Blood samples were collected every 7 days to prepare polyclonal antibodies.The reactivity was detected by Western blot and the antibody titer was detected by ELISA.Tick challenge test was carried out after the anti-body titer increased.The results showed that the optimal expression conditions for rDmAQP1 were induced for 8 h at IPTG concentration of 1.0 mmol/L and 37 ℃;the optimal expression conditions for rDmAQP2 were induced for 7 h at IPTG concentration of 1.0 mmol/L and 37 ℃;and the opti-mal expression conditions for rDmAQP3 were induced for 5 h at IPTG concentration of 1.0 mmol/L and 37 ℃.Western blot results showed that rDmAQP1,rDmAQP2 and rDmAQP3 all had certain reactivity.The ELISA results showed that the antibody titers of rabbits immunized with rD-mAQP1,rDmAQP2 and rDmAQP3 were as follows:the total anti-tick effect of rDmAQP1 protein was 79.74％,and the inhibition rates on average full-blooded tick weight,average egg weight and average egg hatching rate were 9.43％,25.17％and 63.81％,respectively.The total anti-tick effect of rDmAQP2 protein was 78.78％,and the inhibition rates of average full-blooded tick weight,av-erage egg weight and average egg hatching rate of Dermacentor marginatus were 8.30％,20.14％and 68.26％,respectively.The total anti-tick effect of rDmAQP3 protein was 87.91％,and the inhi-bition rates of average full-blooded tick weight,average egg weight and average egg hatching rate were 3.23％,22.47％and 80.5％,respectively.Through serological test and anti-tick test,it has been found that rDmAQP1,rDmAQP2 and rDmAQP3 all have the potential of candidate antigens against ticks,among which rDmAQP3 has the best immune effect,which lays a foundation for the study of the function of rDmAQP1,rDmAQP2 and rDmAQP3.

Porcine parvovirus(PPV)is a causative agent of porcine parvovirus infection(PPI),which significantly impacts the pig industry due to its association with reproductive dysfunction.The condition is characterized by stillbirth,mummified fetuses,fetal weakness,and abortion in pregnant sows.The pathogenic mechanism remains incompletely understood,with no effective therapeutic drugs available currently.Despite extensive research on the host's response to PPV in-fection and identification of various signaling pathway transduction mechanisms,a comprehensive understanding is still lacking.This review aims to summarize the current knowledge regarding al-terations in related signaling pathways following PPV infection,provide novel insights into the pathogenesis of PPV and facilitate the drug development.

This study aims to investigate the effects of Japanese encephalitis virus(JEV)on TLRs signaling pathway and its regulation of the secretion of inflammatory factors during the infection of testicular interstitial cells,In this study,the mRNA levels of TLR3,TLR7,TLR8,TRIF and MyD88 genes were detected by qPCR after 1 MOI dose of JEV was inoculated into testicular stro-mal cells at different time periods.Western blot assay was used to detect the expression levels of TLR3,TLR7,TRIF and MyD88 protein at 6 h after JEV infection,and ELISA was used to detect the expression levels of IL-1β,IL-6 and TNF-α at different time periods(6,12 and 24 h).The re-sults showed as follows:After 6 h of JEV infection,the mRNA levels of TLR3,TLR7,TRIF and MyD88 genes were significantly up-regulated(P＜0.05),and the mRNA levels of TLR8 genes were down-regulated(P＜0.05).Western blot results showed that the protein expressions of TLR3,TLR7,TRIF and MyD88 were significantly up-regulated when JEV infected testicular stromal cells for 6 h(P＜0.05),which was consistent with the corresponding mRNA transcription levels.There was no significant change in TLR8 protein expression.ELISA results showed that 6 h after JEV infection of testicular stromal cells,IL-6 was significantly increased(P＜0.01),and the expressions of IL-1β and TNF-α were not changed.TLR3,TLR7,TLR8,TRIF and MyD88 were si-lenced by siRNA,and the silenced cells were inoculated with JEV for 6 h,and IL-6 expression lev-els were detected by ELISA.The results showed that silenced TLR3,TLR7,TLR8,TRIF and MyD88 could significantly reduce the increase of IL-6 secretion induced by JEV infection(P＜0.05).These results indicated that JEV could induce the expression of inflammatory factor IL-6 by activating TLR3,TLR7 and TLR8 signaling pathway after infection of testicular stromal cells.This study provides a reference for further elucidating the mechanism of reproductive disorders caused by JEV infection.

To predict the distribution and habitat of Dermacentor nuttallii in Xinjiang and to under-stand its life cycle history.In this study,Maximum Entropy Modeling(MaxEnt)was used to pre-dict the geographical distribution and adaptation area of Dermacentor nuttallii in Xinjiang,and jackknife test and response curve of environmental variables were used to evaluate the environmen-tal factors affecting the distribution of Dermacentor nuttallii.Dermacentor samples were collected randomly based on predicted sites.The species of Dermacentor was identified by the combination of morphological characteristics and molecular biology.The New Zealand white rabbit was the only blood donor,and the life cycle and biological characteristics of the tick were observed and recorded by the method of earmuffs feeding under natural light in the laboratory.The jackknife test and SPSS analysis results showed that the main environmental variables affecting the distribution of suitable areas of Dermacentor nuttallii were average temperature(Bio1),average daily tempera-ture range(Bio2),seasonal temperature change(Bio4),driest month precipitation(Bio14),precip-itation variation coefficient(Bio15).The response curves of major environmental variables showed that Dermacentor nuttallii had the highest presence probability when Bio1 was 15.58 ℃,Bio2 was 6.19 ℃,Bio4 had a coefficient of variation of 1 500,Bio14 had a coefficient of variation of 20 mm,Bio15 had a coefficient of variation of 23.799 and Bio19 was 69 mm.The prediction results showed that the suitable areas of Dermacentor nuttallii in Xinjiang were Tianshan Mountain range in Junggar Basin,Turpan basin in Altai Mountain valley and some areas south of Tianshan Mountain range,accounting for 50.99％of the total area of Xinjiang.Dermacentor were collected from the predicted area according to MaxEnt model and identified as Dermacentor nuttallii by morphologi-cal and molecular biological methods.The full blood stage was 5.31 d,the degeneration stage was 8.19 d,and the degeneration rate reached 95.5％.If the full blood stage was 8.65 d and the degener-ation stage was 12.86 d,the degeneration rate reached 98％.The full blood stage of adult ticks was 6.75 d,the early egg stage of full blood females was 5.86 d,and the spawning stage of full blood fe-males was 12.5 d.The eggs hatched into young ticks after 25.92 d,and the hatching rate reached 90％.Dermacentor nuttallii took 62-107 d to complete a life history,with an average of 86.06 d.The constructed MaxEnt model has high prediction accuracy and accuracy.According to the varia-ble analysis of the main environmental factors,precipitation and temperature are the main environ-mental factors affecting Dermacentor nuttallii.The study of the whole life cycle of Dermacentor nuttallii in Xinjiang provides the basis for establishing the method of artificial breeding of pure species of Dermacentor nuttallii in Xinjiang.
