1.Research progress on reproductive and sexual behavior-related allergies

Over the past few decades, both allergic diseases and infertility have been increased world widely, and the pathogenesis of both is related to changes in the environment and humans′ lifestyle. Accordingly, allergies related to reproductive behavior are also increasing. This article reviews several common problems between allergies and reproduction. Firstly, food or drug allergy during sexual behaviors such as kissing and sexual intercourse will be introduced. Then progesterone hypersensitivity and semen plasma allergy, including their definition, epidemiology, clinical manifestations and treatment strategies, will be elaborated. In addition, post orgasm illness syndrome, a rare condition in male associated with semen hypersensitivity, was briefly summarized. Finally, the impact of assisted reproductive technology application on the risk of allergy in offspring was reviewed.
