Objective:To explore the mediating effect of chronic disease resource utilization between health promotion behaviors and disease control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) .Methods:Convenience sampling was used to select T2DM patients who attended the Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from September 2023 to October 2024 for the study. The survey was conducted using the General Information Questionnaire, Chronic Illness Resources Survey (CIRS), Health Promoting Lifestyle Profile-Ⅱ (HPLP-Ⅱ), and Control Status Scale for Diabetes (CSSD). Pearson correlation was used to analyze the relationship between chronic disease resource utilization, health promotion behaviors, and disease control. Structural equation modeling and mediating effect validation were performed using AMOS 21.0.Results:A total of 310 questionnaires were distributed, 292 valid questionnaires were recovered, with a valid recovery rate of 94.19%. The CIRS, HPLP-Ⅱ, and CSSD scores of 292 patients were (53.45±12.83), (145.85±28.40), and (89.41±24.57), respectively. CIRS scores were positively correlated with HPLP-Ⅱ scores and CSSD scores ( P<0.05), and HPLP-Ⅱ scores were positively correlated with CSSD scores ( P<0.05), with statistically significant differences. Mediating effect analysis showed that health promotion behaviors had a direct positive effect on disease control ( P=0.001), and chronic disease resource utilization had a partial mediating effect between health promotion behaviors and disease control ( P=0.001), with statistically significant differences and mediating effect accounting for 26.88% of the total effect (0.157/0.584) . Conclusions:Chronic disease resource utilization, health promotion behaviors, and disease control among T2DM patients are suboptimal, and there is room for improvement. Chronic disease resource utilization has a partial mediating effect between health promotion behaviors and disease control, which may guide clinical nursing practice.

Phytoremediation plays an important role in the treatment of heavy metal pollution in soil. In order to elucidate the mechanism of salicylic acid (SA) on copper absorption, seedlings from Xuzhou (with strong Cu-tolerance) and Weifang Helianthus tuberosus cultivars (with weak Cu-tolerance) were selected for pot culture experiments. 1 mmol/L SA was sprayed upon 300 mg/kg soil copper stress, and the photosynthesis, leaf antioxidant system, several essential mineral nutrients and the changes of root upon copper stress were analyzed to explore the mechanism of copper resistance. The results showed that Pn, Tr, Gs and Ci upon copper stress decreased significantly compared to the control group. Meanwhile, chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b and carotenoid decreased with significant increase in initial fluorescence (F0), maximum photochemical quantum yield of PSⅡ (Fv/Fm), electron transfer rate (ETR) and photochemical quenching coefficient (qP) content all decreased. The ascorbic acid (AsA) content was decreased, the glutathione (GSH) value was increased, the superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT) and ascorbate peroxidase (APX) activity in the leaves were decreased, and the peroxidase (POD) activity was significantly increased. SA increased the Cu content in the ground and root system, and weakened the nutrient uptake capacity of K, Ca, Mg, and Zn in the root stem and leaves. Spray of exogenous SA can maintain the opening of leaf stomata, improve the adverse effect of copper on photosynthetic pigment and PSⅡ reaction center. Mediating the SOD and APX activity started the AsA-GSH cycle process, effectively regulated the antioxidant enzyme system in chrysanthemum taro, significantly reduced the copper content of all parts of the plant, and improved the ion exchange capacity in the body. External SA increased the content of the negative electric group on the root by changing the proportion of components in the root, promoted the absorption of mineral nutrient elements and the accumulation of osmoregulatory substances, strengthened the fixation effect of the root on metal copper, and avoided its massive accumulation in the H. tuberosus body, so as to alleviate the inhibitory effect of copper on plant growth. The study revealed the physiological regulation of SA upon copper stress, and provided a theoretical basis for planting H. tuberosus to repair soil copper pollution.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the efficacy and safety of a perioperative rehabilitation clinical pathway of acetabular fracture in light of orthopedics rehabilitation team approach. MethodsA prospective randomized control trial was conducted in 82 patients with acetabular fractures who had been admitted from the Emergency Department of Orthopaedic Trauma, Beijing Jishuitan Hospital from June, 2019 to January, 2021. The patients were randomly divided into control group (n = 41) and intervention group (n = 41). The control group was managed routinely, while the intervention group received the rehabilitation clinical pathway, for 24 weeks. The Visual Analogue Score (VAS) of pain, the Barthel Index (BI) and Majeed Pelvic Score were compared. ResultsFinally, 76 patients completed the trial. There was no statistical difference in VAS score between two groups in all periods (|Z| < 1.926, P > 0.05). The BI score was higher in the intervention group than in the control group at discharge, two weeks, six weeks and twelve weeks after operation (|Z| > 2.121, P < 0.05); and no significant difference was found before operation and 24 weeks after operation (|Z| < 1.862, P > 0.05). Majeed Pelvic Score was higher in the intervention group than in the control group two weeks, six weeks, twelve weeks and 24 weeks after operation (|Z| > 2.428, P < 0.05). Six, twelve and 24 weeks after operation, the excellent rate of Majeed Pelvic Score was higher in the intervention group than in the control group (χ2 > 6.136, P < 0.05). ConclusionIn comparison with traditional protocol in acetabular fracture, the perioperative rehabilitation clinical pathway was proved effective and of great safety in the light of the integration of orthopedics and rehabilitation mode for improving the function and activities of daily living of patients.

Chinese Journal of Health Management 2018;12(4):307-312
Objective:
To understand the dyslipidemia rate and trend of blood lipid level in an urban community in Hangzhou.
Methods:
A total of 1 485 urban community residents aged 24 years or older who had participated in health checkup over 6 years, from 2011-2016, were selected by random cluster sampling. Fasting blood Triglyceride (TG), total cholesterol (TC), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), and high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) levels were measured in all subjects. A χ2 test was used to analyze the dyslipidemia rate trend, and an ANOVA of repeated measurement was conducted to observe the blood lipid level changes.
Results:
From 2011 to 2016, the total abnormal rates of blood lipids in 1 485 residents were 33.2% (493/1 485), 30.5% (453/1 485), 30.4% (452/1 485), 26.5% (394/1 485), 26.3% (391/1 485), and 25.1% (373/1 485), respectively, which showed a declining trend year-by-year (χ2=36.051,
