Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Shuxin Jieyu Decoction(composed of Chuangxiong Rhizoma,Angelicae Sinensis Radix,Bupleuri Radix,Paeoniae Radix Alba,Paeoniae Radix Rubra,Curcumae Radix,Ziziphi Spinosae Semen,Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Praeparata cum Melle,Platycladi Semen,Polygoni Multiflori Caulis,Polygalae Radix,Toosendan Fructus,Corydalis Rhizoma,and Albiziae Cortex)in treating coronary heart disease(CHD)with angina pectoris complicated by anxiety disorder in patients with qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome.Methods Sixty patients diagnosed with qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome type of CHD with angina pectoris and anxiety disorder were enrolled from the outpatient and inpatient departments of Taihe Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated to Anhui University of Chinese Medicine between January 2024 and January 2025.Patients were randomly divided into an observation group(n=30)and a control group(n=30)using a random number table method.The control group received conventional CHD treatment and anxiolytic therapy(Flupentixol and Melitracen Tablets),while the observation group additionally received Shuxin Jieyu Decoction.Both groups were treated for 4 weeks.Changes in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome scores and Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale(HAMA)scores were evaluated before and after treatment.The therapeutic effects of angina pectoris,nitroglycerin reduction/cessation rates,and total adverse event rates were compared between the two groups.Results(1)After 4 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate in the observation group was 93.33％(28/30),compared to 73.33％(22/30)in the control group.The intergroup comparison(by Fisher's precision probability test)showed that the observation group's efficacy was significantly superior to that of the control group(P＜0.05).(2)After treatment,both groups showed significant reductions in TCM syndrome scores(P＜0.05)for symptoms including chest tightness and pain,costal distension,anxiety,palpitations,excessive sighing,irritability,and insomnia.The observation group's reduction was significantly greater than that of the control group(P＜0.05).(3)After 4 weeks,the total reduction/discontinuation rate of nitroglycerin was 90.00％(27/30)in the observation group versus 66.67％(20/30)in the control group.The intergroup comparison(by Fisher's precision probability test)showed that the observation group's reduction rate was significantly higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05,Fisher's precision probability test).(4)After treatment,both groups exhibited reduced Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale(HAMA)scores(P＜0.05),with the observation group showing a significantly greater improvement(P＜0.05).(5)The total incidence of adverse reactions was 20.00％(6/30)in the observation group and 23.33％(7/30)in the control group,with no statistically significant difference between groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion The combination of Shuxin Jieyu Decoction with conventional western medicine treatment demonstrates superior clinical efficacy compared to conventional western medicine alone in patients with qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome type of CHD with angina pectoris and anxiety disorder.It effectively alleviates angina symptoms and anxiety disorder,reduces nitroglycerin usage,without increasing adverse effects.

Genotype-phenotype correlations were analyzed by integrating the sequencing data with evidence from existing literature. This study has bee granted by the Ethics Committee of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Guangzhou Women and Children′s Medical Center (Ethics No.: 2022-406B00).Results:The four-generation pedigree has comprised 19 members. In addition to the proband, 5 affected individuals had manifested high myopia, congenital cataracts, and progressive vision loss. Two deceased members reportedly exhibited similar ocular manifestations. Among the four living patients, two had developed retinal detachment, while two others presented with chronic joint pain onset between 35 ~ 40 years of age. One patient required hip replacement surgery at age 42 secondary to femoral head necrosis. The proband, the youngest affected member, exhibited characteristic phenotypes including congenital micrognathia and cleft palate, consistent with Pierre-Robin syndrome. Genetic analysis revealed a heterozygous nonsense mutation in COL2A1 (NM_001844.5: c. 2668C>T; p. Gln890Ter) segregating with the disease in all four symptomatic patients. This variant was absent in asymptomatic family members and unaffected controls. While the mutation is listed in ClinVar, no clinical case reports has associated it with this phenotypic spectrum. It was not observed in population databases (gnomAD v4.1.0, 1000 Genomes Project, or ExAC), supporting its potential pathogenicity. Objective:To test the difficulty, discrimination, and reliability of the ICU Nurse Pressure Injury Prevention and Care Knowledge Questionnaire.Methods:Two researchers independently translated the ICU Nurse Pressure Injury Prevention and Care Knowledge Questionnaire and cross-checked it to form a Chinese version of the questionnaire. The Chinese version of the ICU Nurse Pressure Injury Prevention and Care Knowledge Questionnaire consists of 24 items, with correct answers scoring one point and incorrect answers scoring zero points, with a total score of 24 points. Convenience sampling was used to select ICU nurses from 14 GradeⅢ Class A hospitals in five provinces/autonomous regions and two municipalities in China for the survey between April and July 2023. The difficulty index, discrimination index, and Cronbach's α coefficient of the questionnaire were analyzed.Results:A total of 1 121 questionnaires were distributed, with 1 020 valid responses, yielding a valid response rate of 90.99%. The mean score of the 1 020 ICU nurses on the Chinese version of the ICU Nurse Pressure Injury Prevention and Care Knowledge Questionnaire was (16.10±5.58) , with a minimum score of 4.00 and a maximum score of 24.00. The Cronbach's α coefficient of the Chinese version of the ICU Nurse Pressure Injury Prevention and Care Knowledge Questionnaire was 0.91. The questionnaire's overall difficulty and discrimination indexes were 0.67 and 0.59, respectively.Conclusions:The Chinese version of the ICU Nurse Pressure Injury Prevention and Care Knowledge Questionnaire has appropriate difficulty, moderate discrimination, and strong reliability, making it a valuable tool for assessing ICU nurses' knowledge of pressure injury-related topics.

Objective:To screen the differentially expressed genes(DEGs)under high phosphate-induced calcification in the vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMCs)by mRNA high-throughput sequencing technology,and to analyze the key genes and signaling pathways involved in the VSMCs calcification.Methods:The human VSMCs were divided into control group and model group.The cells in model group was exposed to the high-phosphate medium,while the cells in control group were cultured in DMEM supplemented with 10%fetal bovine serum under the same conditions.The VSMCs in two groups,stably transfected,were cultured for 12 d.The morphology of the cells in two groups were observed and photographed under inverted microscope.The DEGs were selected by Hisat2 software,and Gene Ontology(GO)functional and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)signaling pathway enrichment analysis were performed by Stringtie software from three aspects,such as biological processes(BP),molecular functions(MF),and cellular components(CC).The calcification of the cells in two groups was observed by Von Kossa staining method.Real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR(RT-qPCR)method was used to analyze the expression levels of alkaline phosphatase(ALP),bone morphogenetic protein 2(BMP2),alpha-smooth muscle actin(α-SMA),tumor protein 53(Tp53),glutathione peroxidase 4(GPX4),ferritin light chain 1(Ftl1),and glycosylphosphatidylinositol-specific phospholipase D1(GPLD1)mRNA in the cells in two groups.Results:Compared with control group,there were 2 524 DEGs in the cells in model group,and there were 1 368 upregulated DEGs and 1 156 downregulated DEGs.Clustering of DEGs between the cells in two groups was distinct.The GO functional and KEGG pathway enrichment analysis results showed that the upregulated DEGs were primarily involved in regulating the microtubule cytoskeleton,cell polarity,protein localization,and cell cycle regulation among BPs;in constructing cell membrane,microtubule organization,chromosomes,and kinetochore among CCs;and functioning in phosphatidylinositol phosphate,Rho GTPase protein binding,transmembrane transport,and protein kinase regulatory activity among MFs.Downregulated DEGs were mainly involved in cytoplasmic translation,protein membrane localization,mRNA metabolism,and protein endoplasmic reticulum localization among BPs;in forming ribosome subunits,cell membrane,and autophagy among CCs;and functioning in single-stranded DNA,ribonucleoprotein complex,growth factor binding,regulating protein kinase activity,and catalytic activity among MFs.Seven signaling pathways were significantly enriched in upregulated genes,most notably in the biosynthesis of glycosylphosphatidylinositol(GPI)anchors;whereas 18 signaling pathways were significantly enriched in the downregulated genes,most notably in ferroptosis.The RT-qPCR results showed that compared with control group,the expression levels of GPX4,Ftl1,and Tp53 mRNA in the cells in model group were significantly decreased(P<0.01),while the expression level of GPLD1 mRNA was significantly increased(P<0.01);compared with control group,the expression level of α-SMA mRNA in the cells in model group was significantly decreased(P<0.01),and the expression levels of ALP and BMP2 mRNA were significantly increased(P<0.01).Conclusion:The VSMCs underwent calcification and normal cells exhibit the DEGs.The key signaling pathways in the calcification induced by high phosphate in the VSMCs include ferroptosis and GPI anchor biosynthesis,mediated primarily through GPX4,Ftl1,Tp53,and GPLD1.

Objective: To investigate the effects of the interaction between occupational noise exposure and arterial stiffness on blood glucose, so as to provide insights into for early prevention of diabetes among workers exposed to occupational noise. Methods: A total of 518 noise workers were selected from a tobacco plant in Wuhan City. Participants' gender, age and work duration were collected using questionnaire surveys, and participants' height and weight were measured. Blood glucose and arterial stiffness were detected, and the noise intensity was measured in working environments with a personal noise dosimeter. The effects of occupational noise exposure, arterial stiffness and their interactions on blood glucose were examined using a multiple linear regression model. Results: A total of 518 workers were included, with 398 males (76.83%), a mean age of (40.85±10.68) years, a mean working age of (19.50±12.69) years, a mean body mass index of (23.66±3.31) kg/m2, and a mean blood glucose level of (5.15±0.99) mmol/L. There were 247 workers with occupational noise exposure (47.68%) and 175 workers with arterial stiffness (33.78%). Multiple linear regression analysis showed significant associations of noise (β'=0.112) and arterial stiffness (β'=0.168) with blood glucose, and there was an additive interaction between noise and arterial stiffness on blood glucose (β'=0.314). Conclusion The interaction between occupational noise and arterial stiffness affects blood glucose.

Objective:To investigate the killing effects in vitro of a new photosensitizer black titanium dioxide b-TP-700-mediated photodynamics on prostate cancer cell line PC-3 cells.Methods:The b-TP-700 was successfully prepared by using solid phase in situ thermal reduction method. PC-3 cells were treated with 31.25, 62.5, 125, 250, 500, 1 000 μg/ml b-TP-700 for 12, 24, 48 h. The cell activity was detected by using CCK-8 method, and the morphology of PC-3 cells was observed by using confocal fluorescence microscope, the toxicity of b-TP-700 to PC-3 cells was also judged. PC-3 cells were treated with different concentrations of b-TP-700 (31.25, 62.5, 125, 250, 500 μg/ml) and irradiated with laser (1 W/cm, 808 nm) for 1, 3, 5, 7 min. The cell activity was detected by using CCK-8 method. The production of reactive oxygen species in PC-3 cells cultured in 250 μg/ml b-TP-700 after laser irradiation for 5 min was detected by using confocal fluorescence microscopy. The non-laser irradiation cells were selected as the control group.Results:There were no statistically significant differences in cell activity of PC-3 cells treated with different concentrations of b-TP-700 for the same time ( F value was 1.26, 0.39 and 0.37, respectively; all P > 0.05). PC-3 cells were treated with 1 000 μg/ml b-TP-700 for 24 h, no obvious morphological changes and no obvious dead cells were observed under fluorescence microscope. When PC-3 cells were treated with the same concentration of b-TP-700, the activity of PC-3 cells was decreased with the extension of laser excitation time. Under the same laser excitation time, the activity of PC-3 cells was decreased with the increase of b-TP-700 concentration (all P < 0.05). Under laser irradiation, obvious green fluorescence could be detected in the PC-3 cells treated with 250 μg/ml b-TP-700, while almost no green fluorescence could be observed in the control group. Conclusions:A new photosensitizer b-TP-700 has the good reactive oxygen generation ability. b-TP-700-mediated photodynamics show obvious killing effects on prostate cancer PC-3 cells in vitro, which is expected to be a new method for the treatment of prostate cancer.

Objective:To explore the protective cognition of the first batch of nurses against novel coronavirus pneumonia on apparatus-related stress injury, so as to provide reference for formulating and implementing relevant training and improving management measures.Methods:Using the phenomenological method of qualitative research, from January 20, 2020 to February 17, 2020, a half structured in-depth interview was conducted among the echelon nurses who completed the first batch of nurses against novel coronavirus pneumonia on apparatus-related stress injury. A total of 13 nurses in isolation wards were interviewed for the study.Results:Using the method of Colaizzi phenomenology to analyze the interview data, the related knowledge cognition was low, the identification of risk factors was limited, the risk assessment was not carried out, the treatment measures were not timely, the awareness of protection was lacking, the management training was not perfect, and the medical protection materials were not enough.Conclusion:The first batch of nurses to fight against novel coronavirus pneumonia had a low awareness of the prevention of medical device-related stress injury. Hospital managers should strengthen the training of related knowledge, improve management strategies, enhance the awareness of protection, and identify risk factors early, take preventive measures to ensure the safety and health of front-line medical staff in a timely manner.
