Acute lateral ankle sprain (ALAS) is one of the most common sport injuries, with high incidence, recurrence and disability rates. Currently, exercise rehabilitation-based non-surgical treatment is the primary management approach for ALAS. However, there remain improper practices such as excessive immobilization or uncontrolled activity, which contribute to recurrent sprains and chronic ankle instability, significantly impairing patients′ athletic function and quality of life. To standardize the non-surgical management of ALAS, improve the cure rates, and reduce the recurrence and disability rates, Chinese Sports Rehabilitation Medicine Training Project of Chinese Medical Association, Foot and Ankle Basics and Orthopedics Group, Orthopedic Branch of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, and Sports Medicine Branch of Jiangsu Medical Association organized relevant experts to formulate Expert consensus on non-surgical treatment for acute lateral ankle sprain ( version 2025), following the principles of scientific vigor, practicality, and innovation. Thirteen recommendations were proposed for standardized treatment protocols across different healing phases, aiming to provide references for standard management of ALAS and improve the therapeutic outcomes.

Objective To investigate the anti-tumor effect of Job's tears oral solution on lung cancer mice.Methods Observe the histopathological morphology of the tumor;Flow cytometry detected the changes in the levels of CD4+T and CD8+T in splenic lymphocytes;Elisa detected the contents of immunoglobulins IgA,IgG,IL-2 and IFN-γ;Blood routine was detected;the kit determined the levels of liver and kidney glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px),superoxide dismutase(SOD)and malondialdehyde(MDA)content;Serum alanine aminotransferase(ALT),alkaline phosphatase(ALB),azelaic transaminase(AST),urea nitrogen(BUN),and blood creatinine(CRE)were measured in each group of mice.The transcriptome was found differential genes and pathway enrichment was performed.Western blot was used to detect the expression of proteins related to IL-17 signaling pathway(STAT3,NF-κB,VEGF)and TNF signaling pathway(PI3K/AKT,MAPK,JNK).Results Tumor histopathological and morphological changes were obvious in each administration group,and the heterogeneity was gradually reduced.Compared with the cisplatin group,the levels of CD4+T,CD8+T,CD4+T/CD8+T,IL-2,IFN-γ,and IgG in the Job's tears group were significantly increased(P<0.01).The blood routine results:compared with the model group,WBC,RBC,HGB,PLT,Lym%and GR%in the Job's tears group decreased significantly(P<0.01);Compared with the cisplatin group,WBC,RBC,PLT,HGB and Lym%in the Job's tears group increased significantly(P<0.01).The antioxidant indexes of liver and kidney showed that the levels of GSH and SOD in the liver and kidney tissues of the Job's tears group increased significantly(P<0.01),and the level of MDA decreased significantly(P<0.01).Effects on liver and kidney function indexes in mice AST,ALT,BUN and CRE decreased significantly in the Job's tears group(P<0.01),and ALB level increased significantly in the Job's tears group(P<0.01).Transcriptome results,Job's tears high-dose group mainly exerted anti-tumor effects by affecting TNF signaling pathway and IL-17 signaling pathway.Western blot results,in the IL-17 signaling pathway,S-TAT3 and VEGF decreased in the cisplatin group and the Job's tears group compared with the model group(P<0.01),and NF-κB decreased in the Job's tears high-dose group(P<0.01);Compared with the cisplatin group,STAT3 and NF-κB were decreased in the Job's tears group(P<0.01);VEGF was decreased in the Job's tears low-dose group(P<0.01);In the TNF signaling pathway,PI3K and MAPK were decreased in the cisplatin group and Job's tears group(P<0.01);AKT and P-AKT were decreased in the Job's tears group(P<0.01).Compared with the cisplatin group,the Job's tears group AKT,PI3K,and MAPK decreased(P<0.01);P-AKT decreased in the high dose group of Job's tears(P<0.01).Conclusion High-dose Job's tears oral solution inhibits tumor proliferation,attenuates inflammatory response,enhances immunity,improves blood routine and reduces liver and kidney injury in lung cancer mice mainly by inhibiting IL-17 and TNF signaling pathway.

A 24-year-old man presented with a 6-year history of pustules,atrophic scars,and alopecia of the scalp.Dermatological examinations showed generalized alopecia and atrophic scarring of the scalp.A few hairs remained at the vertex region with keratotic papules,pustules,or black sears around the hair follicles.There were also residual hairs at the forehead,temples,and occipital region near the hairline.Clusters of hairs were noted in the occipital region,and keratotic papules were observed around the hair follicles.Erythema,scales,and follicular keratotic papules were found in the superciliary arch.The eyebrows and axillary hairs partially shed and were sparse.Follicular keratotic papules were also found on both cheeks,axillae,chest,abdomen,back and limbs.Stomatological examinations revealed a large space between the upper and lower anterior teeth,anteverted upper anterior teeth,congenital absence of (+1) tooth,deep overbite and deep overjet of anterior teeth.He had a fissured tongue which lacked filiform papillae.Pathological examinations of the skin lesionsshowedathickenedspinouslayer andmassiveinfiltrationsof plasmacytes, neutrophils, and multinucleated giant cells around hair follicles.A diagnosis of folliculitis spinulosa decalvans was made based on the clinical manifestations and histopathological findings.

Objective To investigate the change in NF-κB activity in astrocytes in spinal dorsal horn in a rat model of neuropathic pain and the underlying mechanism. Methods Sixteen male SD rats aged 2-3 months weighing 220-280 g were randomly divided into 2 groups ( n = 8 each) : sham operation group (group S) and CCI group. Neuropathic pain was induced by chronic constrictive injury (CCI) . Right sciatic nerve was exposed and 4 loose ligatures were placed on the sciatic nerve at 1 mm intervals with 4-0 chromic catgut. In group S the right sciatic nerve was exposed but not ligated. The paw withdrawal threshold (PWT) to von Frey filament stimulation and paw withdrawal latency (PWL) to radiant heat stimulation were measured at 1 d before (baseline) and 7 d after operation. The animals were then killed and the lumbar segment of the spinal cord (L_(4-6)) was removed. The expression of NF-κB in the astrocytes in spinal dorsal horn was determined by immuno-histochemistry. Results PWT and PWL to mechanical and thermal stimuli were significantly decreased after operation as compared with the baseline before operation in group CCI. The number of NF-κBp65 immunoreaction positive cells in the spinal dorsal horn on the operated side was significantly larger in group CCI than in group S. Conclusion NF-κB signal transduction pathway in the astrocytes in the spinal dorsal hom may be involved in neuropathic pain.

Objective To evaluate the control status and knowledge level about disease in asthmatic patients in region level cities of Shaanxi province for effect appraisal of patient education.Methods Eight hospitals were selected from six region level cities, where questionnaire survey was completed in out-patients with asthma (≥ 14 years old).Results A total of 523 patients completed the questionnaire with a ratio of male to female of 1: 1.14,and an average age of (44.3±15.5) years old.The percentage of controlled, partly controlled and uncontrolled by self-evaluation was respectively 26.4%, 52.4% and 11.1%.48% insisted on using inhaled corticosteroids (ICS).The average score was 17.88±4.43 by asthma control test (ACT).The first three medicines used daily were ICS (26.6%), sustained-release theophyline (25.2%) and combination ICS/long-acting β2-agonists (21.8%).12.6% had no medicine and 5.2% used non-orthodox medicines.68.6% patients had omen before exacerbation, and those were sneezing, chest distress and cough.73.6% knew asthma is a disease of airway inilammatian,and 33.3% selected ICS as the leader medicine.Only 32.1% attended the lecture about asthma in hospitals and 85.0% longed for such education.Conclusions The control status and knowledge level about disease in asthmatic patients in cities still need to be improved in Shaanxi province, and too much work need to be done in order to realize the total control in all patients.

In the treatment of hiccup in the elders by acupuncture plus ear-point embedding method, main acupoints Neiguan (PC 6), Zusanli (ST 36) and Tiantu (CV 22) were treated. Qihai (CV 6) and Taixi (KI 3) were added for those with weak constitution due to old age and severe illness, Zanzhu (BL 2) added for those with cerebrovascular disease, and Zhigou (TE 6) added for those with digestive disease and constipation, and Hegu (LI 4) added for those with respiratory disease. Ear-point embedding method on Diaphragm(MA), Stomach(MA), Ershenmen(MA-TF 1), Subcortes(MA-AT1) and Kidney(MA) were conducted. Results showed cure in 45 cases, improvement in 10 cases and the effective rate was 100%.

Neuropathic pain has been hypothesized to be the result of aberrant expression and function of sodium channels at the site of injury. To investigate the effects of NaV1.8 antisense oligonucleotide on the expression of sodium channel mRNA in dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons in chronic neuropathic pain. 24 Sprague-Dawley rats weighing 200-260 g were anesthetized with the in of sciatic nerve trunk by 4-0 chromic gut. The mechanical and thermal pain threshold were measured before operation and 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13 days after operation. A PE-10 catheter was implanted in subarachnoid space at lumbar region. On the 7th postoperative day the animals were randomly divided into 4 groups. The drugs were injected intrathecally twice a day for 5 consecutive days in group 2-4. The animals were decapitated 14 days after the surgery. The L4-L6 DRG of the operated side was removed and crushed, and total RNA was extracted with Trizol reagent. The contralateral side was used as control. The change of NaV1.8 sodium channel transcripts was determined by RT-PCR. Pain threshold was significantly lowered after CCI as compared with that in control group and was elevated 3 days after antisense oligonucleotide injection. Sensory neuron specific TTX-R sodium channel NaV1.8 transcript was down-regulated after antisense oligonucleotide injection at the dosage of 45 μg as compared with that in CCI group (P＜0.01), and it was even greater at the dosage of 90 μg. The intrathecally injected NaV1.8 antisense oligonucleotide can reduce the mechanical allodynia and thermal hyperalgesia partially by downregulating the SNS transcript expression.

Purpose: To observe the curative effects of different treatments on genual osteoarthritis.Methods: The 148 cases were randomly divided into 4 groups: acupuncture group; Chinese herbs plus spectrograp irradiation group; comprehensive treatments group and western medicine group. Results:The total effective rate in these groups were 78.9%, 72.7%, 92.3% and 78.9% respectively, and there was not a significant difference among the groups (P＞0.05). The marked effective rate in comprehensive treatments group was higher than that in other three groups (P＜0.05). Conclusion: Acupuncture and Chinese herbs plus sepectrograp irradiation had certain effect on gonitis. Comprehensive therapies could coordinate the actions of acupuncture, and Chinese herbs plus spectrograp irradiation, and raise the curative effect.
