With the deepening of molecular biology and cell biology research, the regulatory mechanism of autophagy has been gradually revealed, providing new ideas for the treatment of numerous diseases.Autophagy may be closely related to pathological changes such as apoptosis resistance of fibroblast-like synoviocytes, disturbances in bone metabolic homeostasis, and antigen presentation, the regulation of autophagy homeostasis may be an important approach for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis(RA).In this paper,we provide a review on the pathological mechanism of autophagy in RA,with a view to providing a theoretical basis for later studies.

Objective To evaluate the pharmacokinetics(PK)and pharmacodynamics(PD)of propofol injectable emulsion, and to assess the bioequivalence of test and reference formulations in healthy Chinese adult volunteers. Methods Thirty-two healthy Chinese adult volunteers were recruited and randomly assigned to a fasting.single-dose,two-period and double-crossover study.Propofol was given to eligible subjects at a speed of 30 μg·kg-1·min-1 for 30 min.The concentration of propofol in plasma was determined by avalidated high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometery(HPLC-MS/MS)method.The PK parameters of the two preparations were calculated.Bispectral index(BIS)was measured to calculate the PD parameters of two formulations.Adverse events during the trial were recorded. Results Thirty-one volunteers were included in the pharmacokinetic parameter set.The mean values of PK parameters of test andreference formulations were as follows:Cmax were(660.87±110.25)and(683.13±125.75)ng·mL-1;AUC0-t were(473.50±86.03)and(478.40±80.25)h·ng·mL-1;AUC0-∞ were(500.45±96.49)and(507.84±88.00)h·ng·mL-1;tmax were 0.47(0.25,0.53)and 0.50(0.40,0.54)h;t1/2 were(2.97±1.74)and(3.08±1.82)h.Thirty-one volunteers were included in the bioequivalence set.The 90%confidence intervals(CI)for the geometric mean ratios of Cmax,AUC0-t,AUC0-∞ were 92.64%-101.39%,96.43%-101.00%,95.67%-100.70%,respectively.The mean values of PD parameters of test and reference formulations were as follows:BISmin were(75.94±13.66)and(74.39±12.32);BISAUC0-60minwere 5 569.85±182.78 and 5 575.68±166.19;T-BISmin were 23.00 and 29.00 min, respectively. There were no serious adverse events. Conclusion Two formulations of propofol injectable emulsion were bioequivalent and both of them exhibited good safety.

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune disease characterized by synovial inflammation, joint destruction, and functional impairment. Angiogenesis plays a key role in the pathological progression of RA with dysfunction of endothelial cells to promote synovial inflammation, sustain pannus formation, subsequently leading to joint damage. Colquhounia Root Tablets (CRT), a Chinese patent drug, has shown a satisfying clinical efficacy in treating RA, while the underlying mechanism by which CRT inhibits RA-associated angiogenesis remains unclear. In this study, we applied a research approach combining transcriptomic data analysis, bio-network mapping, and

Body weight abnormalities, including overweight, obesity, and underweight, have become a dual public health challenge in Chinese adults: overweight and obesity lead to a variety of chronic complications, while underweight increases the risks of malnutrition, sarcopenia, and organ dysfunction. To systematically address these issues, multidisciplinary experts in endocrinology, sports science, nutrition, and psychiatry from various regions have held multiple weight management seminars. Based on the latest epidemiological data and clinical evidence, they expanded the guideline to include assessment and intervention strategies for underweight, in addition to the core content of obesity management. This guideline outlines the etiological mechanisms, evaluation methods, and multidimensional management strategies for overweight and obesity, covering key areas such as diagnosis and assessment, medical nutrition therapy, exercise prescription, pharmacological intervention, and psychological support. It is intended to provide a scientific and standardized approach to weight management across the adult population, aiming to curb the rising prevalence of obesity, mitigate complications associated with abnormal body weight, and improve nutritional status and overall quality of life.

OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the association between ABO blood types and gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) risk.
METHODS:
A prospective birth cohort study was conducted. ABO blood types were determined using the slide method. GDM diagnosis was based on a 75-g, 2-h oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) according to the criteria of the International Association of Diabetes and Pregnancy Study Groups. Logistic regression was applied to calculate the odds ratios ( ORs) and 95% confidence intervals ( CIs) between ABO blood types and GDM risk.
RESULTS:
A total of 30,740 pregnant women with a mean age of 31.81 years were enrolled in this study. The ABO blood types distribution was: type O (30.99%), type A (26.58%), type B (32.20%), and type AB (10.23%). GDM was identified in 14.44% of participants. Using blood type O as a reference, GDM risk was not significantly higher for types A ( OR = 1.05) or B ( OR = 1.04). However, women with type AB had a 19% increased risk of GDM ( OR = 1.19, 95% CI = 1.05-1.34; P < 0.05), even after adjusting for various factors. This increased risk for type AB was consistent across subgroup and sensitivity analyses.
CONCLUSION
The ABO blood types may influence GDM risk, with type AB associated with a higher risk. Incorporating it-either as a single risk factor or in combination with other known factors-could help identify individuals at risk for GDM before or during early pregnancy.

The objective assessment of hearing loss is one of the critical components in forensic clini-cal research.Auditory brainstem response(ABR)is an important method for objectively assessing hearing levels. It is divided into various types based on different stimulus signals, each with its own characteris-tics and applications.Among them,narrow-band Chirp ABR,due to its frequency specificity, fulfills the basic requirements for objective assessment of forensic audiology, promising to be an important method of objective hearing assessment in forensic medicine. This article reviews the development history,charac-teristics and clinical applications of Chirp ABR,and envisions its application prospects in forensic audi-tory identification.
