Objective To analyze the optimization and clinical effectiveness of an intelligent triage-based priority healthcare information system for elderly outpatients. Methods A quasi-experimental design was a-dopted to develop priority queuing rules and implement a corresponding information system redesign for elder-ly patients aged≥80 years.Data from elderly outpatients before the implementation(January 1 to February 1,2024,n=4 017)were used as the control group, and data after the implementation(January 1 to February 1,2025,n=4 247)were used as the observation group.Waiting time was evaluated via check-in-to-call time intervals, supplemented by satisfaction surveys among nursing staff using a 5-point Likert scale.Re-sults Following the implementation of the priority outpatient system for elderly patients aged≥80 years, the observation group demonstrated a significant reduction in waiting time compared to the control group[163(50,467)s vs.746(140,2 362)s,P<0.001].Satisfaction surveys among outpatient nursing staff revealed an overall score of 4.91±0.29,with 91.9%of participants awarding the highest score of 5 points for functional satisfaction. Conclusion The priority outpatient system based on information system redesign significantly re-duces waiting times for patients aged≥80 years and improves satisfaction among nursing staff.

Objective To investigate the effect of gaseous effluent from the six generator sets on the radiation level of the surrounding terrestrial environment in Daya Bay Nuclear Power Base after the operation of Ling’ao Nuclear Power plant. Methods The radiation level in the peripheral environment of the Base was monitored using the thermoluminescence dosimeter (TLD). Twenty-five monitoring sites were set around the Base to investigate the variation of radiation level over a long period of time by collecting the TLDs every three months. Results From 2011 to 2020, the annual γ dose rate of the 25 sites ranged from 76.7 to 207.1 nGy/h, with an average value of (123.3 ± 5.7) nGy/h and a relative deviation of 2%-12%. The TLD monitoring and instantaneous measuring results of γ dose rate were consistent with the survey of the State Environmental Protection Administration in the 20th century and the baseline level prior to the operation of the nuclear power plant. Conclusion There are great differences in natural environmental radiation level across the TLD monitoring sites. The overall environmental γ radiation level within 50 km of the nuclear power base remains unchanged. The emission of gaseous effluent from the operation of the nuclear power plant does not have a cumulative impact on the radiation level of surrounding environment.

Objective To explore the application effects of clinical nursing pathway on recovery of upper-extremity functions during different stages after surgery of breast tumor. Methods A total of 120 patients who received the surgery of breast tumor in our hospital from January 2012 to December 2013 were selected as research subjects. They were randomly assigned to a research group and a regular group according to the method of random number table, with 60 in each. The regular group was given clinical regular nursing for the recovery of upper-extremity functions after the surgery, and the research group was given clinical nursing pathway for the recovery of upper-extremity functions after the surgery. Nursing effects were observed between the two groups. Results Arms bending forward and arms bending inward as well as abduction and rotation in the research group were significantly better than those in the regular group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Satisfaction rate on clinical nursing in the research group was 93.3%, higher than that of 75.0%in the regular group(P<0.05). Life quality score in the research group was(56.1±5.9), significantly higher than that of(43.8±6.3)in the regular group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Clinical nursing pathway is feasible clinically for the recovery of upper-extremity functions during different stages after the surgery of breast tumor. It promotes the recovery of upper-extremity functions, as well as en-hances satisfaction rate on clinical nursing and life quality, which is worthy of clinical application.
