[Objective]To explore the effect of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction on pulmonary vascular remodeling in hypoxic pulmonary hypertension(HPH)through regulating long non-coding RNA metastasis-related lung adenocarcinoma transcript 1(lncRNA MALAT1),and further verify the specific molecular mechanism.[Methods]The HPH model of rat was established by using a low-pressure hypoxia method,and intragastric administration of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction was performed at doses of 4.5 g/(kg·d)and 8.75 g/(kg·d).The model construction was evaluated by rat right ventricular systolic pressure and Fulton index,and then the pulmonary artery vascular remodeling was observed by hematoxylin-eosin(HE)staining and immunohistochemistry.The drug-containing serum of rats was prepared,and pulmonary artery smooth muscle cells(PASMCs)of rat were extracted.The cell model was then established under hypoxic conditions.PASMCs activity and migration capacity were detected by cell counting kit-8(CCK-8)and Transwell respectively.Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR)was used to detect the expression of lncRNA MALAT1 and serine/arginine-rich splicing factor 1(SRSF1).Western blot was employed to analyze the expression of related proteins in cells and tissues.[Results]Compared with model group,the right ventricular systolic blood pressure and ventricular hypertrophy in Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction group were significantly relieved(P＜0.05),and the remodeling of pulmonary artery was alleviated.lncRNA MALAT1 was significantly overexpressed in the pulmonary artery tissues of rats in model group,and the downstream SRSF1/mammalian target of rapamycin complex 1(mTORC1)/eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4E-binding protein 1(4E-BP1)signaling axis was significantly activated.Compared with model group,the expressions of lncRNA MALAT1 and SRSF1/mTORC1/4E-BP1 signaling axis-related proteins in the pulmonary artery tissues of rats in Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction administrated group were significantly decreased(P＜0.05).In vitro,PASMCs treated with drug-containing serum of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction exhibited significantly reduced proliferation(P＜0.05)and migration abilities,decreasing expression of lncRNA MALAT1(P＜0.05).Meanwhile,the expression of SRSF1/mTORC1/4E-BP1 signaling axis-related proteins was significantly decreased(P＜0.05).Furthermore,through the transfection with overexpression plasmids of lncRNA MALAT1 or SRSF1,the expression of lncRNA MALAT1 was increased(P＜0.05),the cell proliferation(P＜0.05)and migration abilities were recovered,and the expression of SRSF1/mTORC1/4E-BP1 signal axis-related proteins was increased(P＜0.05),indicating that the above inhibitory effects were significantly reversed.[Conclusion]Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction can alleviate HPH vascular remodeling by down-regulating lncRNA MALAT1 expression,and regulating SRSF1/mTORC1/4E-BP1 signaling axis.

Objective To evaluate the molluscicidal effects and costs of spraying 20% suspension concentrate of pyricloben-zuron sulphate (SCPS) with drones against Pomacea canaliculata in paddy environments, so as to provide insights into the extensive applications of pyriclobenzuron against P. canaliculata. Methods On July 2022, a paddy field was selected from Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province as the study area, and 72 independent rectangular plots measuring 2 m × 1 m were allocated in the study area, with 1 m interval between each plot, and 20 P. canaliculata snails gently placed in each plot. The activity of 25% wettable powder of pyriclobenzuron sulphate (WPPS) by manual spraying at doses of 0.50, 1.00, 2.00 g/m² and 4.00 g/m² against P. canaliculata was tested in 54 plots, and manual spraying of 50% wettable powder of niclosamide ethanolamine salt (WPNES) at a dose of 0.10 g/m² served as a chemical control, while manual spraying of the same volume of clean water served as a blank control, with 9 plots in each group. The activity of SCPS against P. canaliculata was tested in the remaining 18 plots. Based on the molluscicidal tests of WPPS, the molluscicidal effect of SCPS by manual spraying at doses of 0.20, 0.30, 0.40 g/m² and 0.50 g/m² against P. canaliculata was evaluated, and manual spraying of WPNES at a dose of 0.10 g/m² served as a chemical control, while manual spraying of the same volume of clean water served as a blank control, with three plots in each group. On July 2023, 14 paddy fields with a mean living P. canaliculata density of > 5 snails/m² were selected from Yujiang District, Yingtan City, Jiangxi Province for molluscicidal tests. Based on the molluscicidal effect of pyriclobenzuron against P. canaliculata in plots, the molluscicidal effects of WPPS by manual spraying at doses of 0.25, 0.50 g/m² and 1.00 g/m² and manual applications of WPPS at dose of 0.25, 0.50, 1.00 g/m² and 2.00 g/m² mixed with soil were tested, and manual spraying of 0.10 g/m² WPNES served as a chemical control group, while manual spraying of the same volume of clean water served as a blank control, with one paddy field in each group. Based on the effect of pyriclobenzuron against P. canaliculata in plots, the activity of SCPS sprayed with drones at doses of 0.25 g/m² and 0.50 g/m² mixed in water at 2 kg/667 m² and 4 kg/667 m² was tested against P. canaliculata, and spraying of the same volume of clean water with drones served as a blank control. All P. canaliculata snails were captured 3 days and 7 days following chemical treatment in plots and paddy fields and identified for survival, and the mortality and corrected mortality of P. canaliculata snails were estimated. In addition, the areas of chemical treatment, amount of molluscicide use and labor costs of chemical treatment were estimated in molluscicidal tests in paddy fields, and the costs of chemical treatment for an area covering 667 m² by drones and manual applications were calculated. Results The mortality of P. canaliculata snails was all 100% in plots 3 days and 7 days following spraying WPPS at doses of 0.50, 1.00, 2.00 g/m² and 4.00 g/m², and the mortality rates of P. canaliculata snails were 66.67% to 100.00% 3 days post-treatment with SCPS at various doses (χ² = 277.897, P < 0.05) and 76.67% to 100.00% 7 days post-treatment (χ² = 274.206, P < 0.05). The mortality rates of P. canaliculata snails were 98.19% to 100.00% 3 days post-treatment with WPPS at various doses in paddy fields. There was a significant difference in the mortality of P. canaliculata snails among WPPS treatment groups and controls (χ² = 270.778, P < 0.05), and there were no significant differences between WPPS treatment groups and the chemical control group (all P values > 0.05), while there were significant differences in the mortality of P. canaliculata snails between WPPS treatment groups and the blank control group (all P values < 0.05). The mortality rates of P. canaliculata snails were 89.83% to 95.31% 3 days post-treatment with SCPS at various doses sprayed with drones, and there was a significant difference in the mortality of P. canaliculata snails among SCPS treatment groups and the blank control group (χ² = 1 132.892, P < 0.05). There were no significant differences in the mortality of P. canaliculata snails among SCPS treatment groups or water mixture groups (all P values > 0.05), and there were significant differences in the mortality of P. canaliculata snails between SCPS treatment groups and the blank control group (all P values < 0.05). The mortality rates of P. canaliculata snails were 94.62% to 100.00% 7 days post-treatment with SCPS at various doses sprayed with drones, and there was a significant difference in the mortality of P. canaliculata snails among SCPS treatment groups and the blank control group (χ² = 1 266.932, P < 0.05), with the highest mortality found following spraying 0.50 g/m² SCPS mixed in 2 kg/667 m² water with drones (P < 0.05). The costs of P. canaliculata snail control by drones and manually were 35.85 Yuan/667 m² and 43.33 Yuan/667 m²; however, the snail control efficiency was 6.67 times higher by drones than by manual applications. Conclusions SCPS sprayed with drones is highly active against P. canaliculata snails in paddy fields. SCPS sprayed with drones is highly efficient and low in cost for P. canaliculata snail control in paddy fields, beaches and river courses.

Objective To evaluate the molluscicidal effect of spraying different formulations of niclosamide ethanolamine salt with drones against Oncomelania hupensis in ditches. Methods A semi-dry and semi-wet ditch with O. hupensis snails was selected in the second branch field of Jiangbei Farm, Jiangling County, Hubei Province in May 2023, and divided into 4 experimental areas, named groups A1, A2, B1 and B2. Environmental cleaning was performed in groups A1 and B2, and was not conducted in groups A2 or B2. Then, 50% wettable powder of niclosamide ethanolamine salt was sprayed with drones at an effective dose of 2 g/m² in groups A1 and A2, and 5% niclosamide ethanolamine salt granule was sprayed with drones at an effective dose of 2 g/m² in groups B1 and B2. O. hupensis snails were surveyed using the systematic sampling method 1, 3, 5, 7, 14 days after spraying, and the natural mortality and corrected mortality of O. hupensis snails were calculated. Results The occurrence of frames with living snails, mean density of living snails and natural mortality of snails were 97.50% (117/120), 6.30 snails/0.1 m² and 1.18% (9/765) in the test ditch before spraying, respectively. There were significant differences in the mortality of snails among four groups 1, 3, 5, 7 and 14 days after spraying niclosamide formulations with drones (χ² = 17.230, 51.707, 65.184, 204.050 and 34.435, all P values < 0.01). The overall mortality rates of snails were 94.51% (1 051/1 112), 79.44% (908/1 143), 96.54% (977/1 012) and 88.55% (1 021/1 153) in groups A1, A2, B1 and B2 (χ² = 207.773, P < 0.05), respectively. In addition, there was no significant difference in the overall snail mortality between groups A1 and B1 (P > 0.05), and the snail mortality in groups A1 and B1 were both statistically different from that in groups A2 and B2 (all P values < 0.05). Conclusion Both 50% wettlable powder of niclosamide ethanolamine salt and 5% niclosamide ethanolamine salt granule sprayed with drones are active against O. hupensis snails in ditches, and environmental cleaning may improve the molluscicidal effect.

Objective To evaluate the effect of virtual reality(VR)on cognitive function and quality of life in patients with Parkin-son's disease. Methods A systematic search of CBM,CNKI,Wanfang data,VIP,Cochrane Library,Web of Science,Embase,and PubMed was carried out to identify randomized control trials(RCT)about the effect of VR technology on pa-tients with Parkinson's disease from inception to February 29th,2024.The control group received routine cogni-tive training,balance training or physical therapy,and the experimental group received VR technology.The quali-ty of articles was evaluated using the Cochrane Collaboration's 5.1.0 RCT risk assessment tool for bias.The meta-analysis was performed using Revman5.4.GRADE was used to evaluate the evidence quality of outcome indica-tors. Results A total of 13 literatures involving 426 patients were included.Allocation concealment and blind methods were not described in most literatures,and selective reporting of research results or other biases was unclear.VR tech-nology could improve the Motreal Cognitive Assessment(MoCA)score(MD=1.11,95%CI 0.31 to 1.90,P=0.006),Trail Making Test(TMT)-A score(MD=-6.25,95%CI-11.71 to-0.78,P=0.030)and depression scale score(SMD=-0.56,95%CI-0.95 to 0.18,P=0.004)of patients with Parkinson's disease;however,it did not improve TMT-B score(MD=-6.01,95%CI-28.16 to 16.14,P=0.590),Unified Parkinson's Disease Rat-ing Scale(UPDRS)-Part II score(MD=-2.11,95%CI-4.97 to 0.75,P=0.150)and Parkinson's Disease Ques-tionnaire(PDQ-39)score(MD=-0.92,95%CI-4.03 to 2.19,P=0.560).For quality of evidence,MoCA score,UPDRS-Part II score and PDQ-39 score were low,and depression score and TMT score were moderate. Conclusion VR technology can improve the cognitive function and depression of patients with Parkinson's disease;how-ever,no significant improvement is found in activities of daily living and quality of life.

Objective:To study the correlation between smoking and clinicopathology in patients with upper tract urothelial carcinoma(UTUC), and to evaluate the effect of smoking on the prognosis of patients with UTUC treated with adjuvant chemotherapy for Gemcitabine plus Cisplatin (GC).Methods:A retrospective cohort study was used to select 91 patients who underwent resection of the kidney and ureter, and sleeve cystectomy in Beijing Friendship Hospital, Capital Medical University from January 2013 to December 2021, all patient received GC adjuvant chemotherapy after surgery. Patients were divided into smoking group ( n=33) and non-smoking group ( n=58) according to their smoking history. The median follow-up time was 38 months (3-83 months). The age, gender, presence or absence of hydronephrosis, tumor stage, multifocality, lymphatic vascular invasion, lymphatic metastasis, tumor grade, overall survival (OS) and cancer-specific survival (CSS) were statistically analyzed. The measurement data were expressed as mean ± standard deviation ( ± s), and the t-test was used for comparison between groups; the count data were expressed as the number of cases and percentage, and the Chi-square test was used for comparison between groups. Kaplan-Meier curve was used for survival analysis and comparison, and Long-rank test was used for comparison between groups. Cox proportional risk regression model was introduced to explore the independent influencing factors of OS and CSS by univariate and multivariate Cox regression analysis. Results:Among 91 patients, 41 were males and 50 were females, with a median age of 65 years, and 19 patients (20.9%) died, of which 17 patients (18.7%) died of UTUC. The comparison of clinical indicators between the two groups showed that smoking was associated with male, tumor stage, multifocality, lymphatic vascular invasion, lymphaitc metastasis, and tumor grade and hydronephrosis ( P<0.05). Multivariate Cox regression analysis showed that smoking, male, higher tumor stage, and lymphatic vascular invasion were independent risk factors for OS and CSS. For the subgroup of patients who smoked, smoking duration significantly affected CSS, with each additional year of smoking duration increasing the risk of death by 0.065. Conclusion:Smoking is associated with adverse pathology in patients with UTUC, and smoking is an independent factor affecting the prognosis of postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy with GC in UTUC.

Objective:To preliminarily compile the words list of personality in southern China, and structurally analyse the words with natural personality traits.Methods:A semi-structured questionnaire was used to obtain 603 valid questionnaires in six provinces in southern China, and the lexical collation, consolidation, deletion, lexicographic analysis and structural analysis were conducted.Results:(1)After three rounds of collation and merging of 8 022 natural words describing personality traits, a personality trait word list containing 136 words was obtained.(2)Econometric analysis of words according to positivity, neutrality and negativity, showed that all negative words involving moral evaluations (ruthless, vicious, evil, cunning, narrow-minded and so on) were used to describe others, while negative words describing oneself were mainly non-virtuous words (capricious, stubborn, impatient, impetuous, pessimistic and so on). (3) The proportion of desirability and virtue dimensions in the words list was highest(23.20%, 16.80%); and the proportion of desirability and extroversion in total words frequency was highest(24.39%, 19.96%).Conclusion:A personality word list containing 136 personality traits in southern China is compiled from primary sources; and a 7-factor personality structure was latent in the word list.Subjects are richer in describing the content of the vocabulary of agreeable, virtuous, pioneering, and persevering personality traits, while agreeable and extroverted personality traits are most easily perceived in interpersonal interactions.

OBJECTIVES: To investigate the effect of adriamycin (ADM), idelalisib or ADM and their combination on cell proliferation and intracellular concentration of ADM, and to explore the reversal effect of idelalisib on drug resistance to ADM. METHODS: The K562 and K562/ADM cells were respectively treated with ADM and idelalisib at different concentrations. The 50% inhibitory concentration (IC RESULTS: The cell survival rates were significantly decreased in a dose-dependent manner when the cells were treated with different doses of ADM (0.001-10.000 mg/L ). The IC CONCLUSIONS Idelalisib exerts effect on inhibition of the proliferation in myeloid leukemia K562 and K562/ADM cells, which may partially reverse the drug resistance of K562/ADM cells to ADM. The mechanisms for the effect of idelalisib may be related to increasing the accumulation of ADM and inducing the cell apoptosis in the K562 and K562/ADM cells.

Objective:To investigate the effects with perioperative indicators of different irrigation methods (automatic irrigation pump and gravity-based irrigation) on ureteroscopic lithotripsy.Methods:A retrospective analysis was used to select 150 patients with ureteral calculi in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Ningxia Medical University from January 2018 to September 2018. The patients included 86 males and 64 females, and the median age was 47 years, ranged 23 to 75 years. The patients were divided into two groups: automatic irrigation pump and gravity-based irrigation group, with 75 cases in each group. The time of operation, the rate of stone moving up, the rate of stone remaining, the change of leukocyte and serum creatinine before and after operation, and the incidence of operation complications were compared between the two groups. The measurement data was expressed as Mean±standard deviation ( Mean± SD), and the t-test was used for comparison between groups; the Chi-square test was used for comparison between count data. Results:The operative time of automatic irrigation pump was shorter than that of gravity-based irrigation group [(42.20±17.61) min vs (45.23±16.40) min]. The increase of leukocyte count [(3.83±3.01)×10 9/L vs (4.36±2.97)×10 9/L] and serum creatinine of first day [(63.26±12.46) μmol/L vs (65.64±11.10) μmol/L] in gravity-based irrigation group was significantly higher than that in automatic irrigation pump ( P=0.034, 0.011, 0.002, respectively). There was no significant difference between the two groups in the stone migration rate (5.3% vs 9.3%), stone residual rate (2.7% vs 4.0%), the incidence of intraoperative complications-mucosa injury of ureter (12.0% vs 10.7%), and postoperative complications (urinary tract infection: 4.0% vs 5.3%, mild hydronephrosis: 5.3% vs 6.7%) ( P=0.347, 0.649, 0.797, 0.868, respectively). Conclusions:The automatic irrigation pump can shorten the operation time, and reduce the increase of blood routine leukocyte count and serum creatinine compared with the gravity-based irrigation. There was no difference between the two methods in the rate of stone migration, stone residue, ureter injury, hydronephrosis and urinary tract infection.

Objective:To investigate the prognostic significance of the lymphovascular invasion (LVI) in patients with upper tract urothelial carcinoma(UTUC) after radical nephoureterectomy (RNU) and Gemcitabine and Cisplatin combination Chemotherapy (GC).Methods:The clinical data of 95 patients with UTUC admitted to Beijing Friendship Hospital, Capital Medical University from March 2013 to March 2019 were analyzed retrospectively. There were 50 males and 45 females; the average age was 63 years, ranged from 36 to 81 years. According to the situation of LVI, they were divided into LVI positive group ( n=25) and LVI negative group ( n=70). Chi-square test was used to analyze the clinicopathological parameters of the two groups of patients. Kaplan-Meier method was used to draw the survival curves of the overall survival (OS) time and recurrence-free survival (RFS) time of the two groups of patients. The difference between the two groups was used Log-Rank test. The risk factors related to OS and RFS were evaluated using univariate and multivariate Cox regression models. Results:All patients were followed up for 2-82 months, with an average follow-up time of 36 months. Among them, 20(21.1%) died and 36(37.9%) relapsed. There were significant differences in T stage ( P=0.046), lymph node metastasis ( P=0.032), and tumor location ( P=0.019) between LVI negative group and LVI negative group. Univariate analysis showed that hydronephrosis ( P=0.026), lymph node metastasis( P=0.001), LVI ( P=0.001), chemotherapy cycle ( P=0.045) were correlated with OS; hydronephrosis ( P=0.031), tumor T stage ( P=0.013), lymph node metastasis ( P=0.004), LVI ( P=0.001) were significantly correlated with RFS. Multivariate analysis showed that hydronephrosis ( P=0.016), lymph node metastasis ( P=0.016), and LVI( P=0.003) were significantly correlated with OS. Lymph node metastasis ( P=0.018), LVI ( P=0.003) were significantly correlated with RFS. In conclusion, LVI was an independent risk factor for OS and RFS. The OS [(40.7±6.5) months for LVI positive group, (68.5±3.2) months for LVI negative group, χ2=15.750, P<0.001] and RFS [(31.0±5.7) months for LVI positive group, (58.0±8.8) months for LVI negative group, χ2=10.986, P=0.001] of patients with LVI positive group were worse than those with LVI negative group, the differences were statistically significant. Conclusions:LVI is more likely to be possitive in patients with high T stage, lymph node metastasis and single renal pelvis cancer, which provides a basis for risk stratification of patients with UTUC. After radical resection and adjuvant chemotherapy, the benefit of OS and RFS in patients with positive LVI was significantly worse than that in patients with negative LVI.
