Bronchial asthma （BA） is a common chronic inflammatory airway disease characterized by airway hyperresponsiveness and reversible airflow limitation. Lung macrophages （LMs）， as important effector cells of the innate immune system， play an important role in recognizing and engulfing pathogens， clearing harmful particles， and regulating immune responses. LMs can be polarized to M1 （pro-inflammatory） or M2 （anti-inflammatory） in different immune environments and participate in promoting or inhibiting inflammatory response， as well as lung parenchyma injury and repair （airway remodeling）， playing a key role in the BA occurrence and development. Regulating the polarization balance of macrophages can not only inhibit the inflammatory response in the airway and reduce airway hyperresponsiveness， but also improve airway remodeling and immune regulation， reduce airway mucus secretion， and alleviate the clinical BA symptoms. Traditional Chinese medicine and its active ingredients， especially polysaccharides and saponins， can regulate the polarization balance of M1/M2 macrophages. Traditional Chinese medicine compounds can balance the secretion of anti-inflammatory and pro-inflammatory factors by staging treatment and targeting the polarization state of M1/M2 macrophages， inhibit inflammatory response in the airway， reduce airway remodeling， and improve the BA symptoms. This paper summarized the research progress on the regulation of M1/M2 macrophage polarization by traditional Chinese medicine and its active ingredients， aiming to provide scientific evidence for the precise targeted therapy of BA.

[Objective] To investigate the molecular prevalence and genotype of human parvovirus B19(B19) among blood donors in Lanzhou, and provide data support for monitoring the positive rate of B19 DNA in local blood donors. [Methods] A total of 7 644 blood donor samples collected from January to September 2022 were randomly screened using real-time fluorescent PCR, resulting in 23 samples testing positive for B19 DNA. The characteristics of the B19 DNA reactive donors including gender, age, blood donation recruitment and promotion mode, and donation frequency were analyzed using SPSS 22.0. Additionally, the VP1 gene fragment of B19 DNA reactive samples was sequenced and an evolutionary tree was constructed by the N-J method. [Results] The results showed that the positive rate of B19 DNA in Lanzhou was 0.30%, and the positive population mainly consisted of female individuals aged 18-30 years old who were first-time blood donors; furthermore, genotype 1a was identified as predominant. [Conclusion] The positive rate of B19 DNA is low among blood donors in Lanzhou, with genotype 1a being predominant. It is recommended to periodically monitor the B19 prevalence in blood donors and enhance prevention and control measures, thus improving blood quality and safety.

Objective To investigate the effect of acupuncture on the morphology of the dry eye rabbit's cornea and the nuclear factor κB(NF-κB)signaling pathway of the corneal tissue to analyze the mechanism of acupuncture on dry eyes.Methods Twenty-four healthy New Zealand rabbits,without restriction on sex,were randomly divided into four groups,including a blank group,a model group,an acupuncture group,and a sham acupuncture group,with 6 in each group.Rabbits in the blank group were not treated;rabbits in the other three groups were treated with scopolamine hydro-bromide 2.0 mg·kg-1 by subcutaneous injection at 8:00,11:00,14:00 and 18:00 each day for 35 consecutive days un-til the end of the experiment.Rabbits in the sham acupuncture group were treated with sham acupuncture on the 22nd day after successful modeling by quickly pricking acupoints(Jingming BL1,Cuanzhu BL2,Sizhukong SJ23,Taiyang EX-HN5 and Tongziliao GB1)with a blunt acupuncture needle,once a day,for a total of 14 days.Rabbits in the acupuncture group were treated with acupuncture at the same acupoints as the sham acupuncture group after successful modeling.The corneal fluorescence staining was conducted on Days 0,21,28 and 35 after modeling.On Day 35,corneal confocal microscope ex-aminations were conducted.Then,the rabbits were sacrificed,the corneal morphological changes were observed by light microscope and transmission electron microscope,and the expression of corneal NF-κB protein was detected by Western blot.Results Compared with the model group,the score of rabbit corneal fluorescein staining in the acupuncture group and blank group decreased on the 28th and 35th days after modeling,and the differences were statistically significant(all P＜0.05).The results of the confocal microscope examination on Day 35 after modeling showed that,compared with other groups,there were a large number of globular immune cells and activated stromal cells with unclear boundaries and irregu-lar sizes in the stromal layer and inflammation in the area with irregular intercellular space in the model group and the sham acupuncture group.In the acupuncture group,the morphology of stromal layer cells improved,the cells were slightly acti-vated,and there were no obvious abnormalities in the corneal nerve morphology.On the 35th day after modeling,the re-sults of the light microscope showed that,the surface of the corneal tissue in the model group and the sham acupuncture group showed hyperkeratinized flat epithelial cells,lymphocyte infiltration,increased number of focal epithelial cell layers,and epithelial cell detachment.In the acupuncture group,there were 4-6 layers of epithelial cells in the corneal epitheli-um,and epithelial shedding decreased.In addition,the lymphocyte infiltration decreased compared with the model group.On the 35th day after modeling,the results of the transmission electron microscope showed that abnormal microvilli oc-curred and epithelial cells were absent in the corneal epithelial cells of rabbits in the model group and the sham acupuncture group,the cell space was widened,the rough endoplasmic reticulum was severely expanded,and desmosomes were dis-banded with mitochondrial swelling.In the acupuncture group,the microvilli structure of epithelial cells was sparse and short,local deletion was still observed,the rough endoplasmic reticulum was slightly expanded,and no obvious swelling of mitochondria was observed.On the 35th day after modeling,the Western blot examination results showed that,compared with the blank group,the expression of p-NF-κB p65 was up-regulated in both the model group and sham acupuncture group(both P＜0.05);compared with the model group and sham acupuncture group,the expression of p-NF-κB p65 in the acupuncture group was down-regulated(both P＜0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture can inhibit the NF-κB signaling path-way to play an anti-inflammatory role and relieve corneal inflammation and injury of dry eye rabbit models.

Objective:To investigate the mid- and long-term training effect of deliberate practice combined with intensive training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) teaching for nurses receiving standardized training.Methods:A total of 160 nurses who received the first year of standardized training in Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from July 2020 to March 2021 were enrolled as subjects, and they were randomly divided into experimental group and control group, with 80 nurses in each group. The nurses in the control group received the mode of single deliberate practice, and those in the experimental group received deliberate practice combined with intensive training at months 0, 3, and 6. Assessment was performed for the two groups before and after training,with objective indicators and subjective evaluation as the assessment criteria. Objective score was determined by the immediate objective feedback provided by the electronic display of Resusci Anne ? QCPR, and subjective score was determined by the same group of examiners based on the evaluation of cardiopulmonary resuscitation performed by trainees,including environment evaluation, judgment of consciousness, judgment of respiration, initiation of emergency treatment system, re-evaluation after resuscitation, and overall evaluation. SPSS 18.0 was used for the independent samples t-test, the non-parametric test, and the chi-squares test. Results:After training, there were significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in the objective indicators of the percentage of correct compression (CC%) [85.500 (77.50, 93.00) vs. 81.00 (71.75, 89.00), Z=-2.49, P=0.013] and the proportion of correct ventilation (V%) [84.00 (75.00, 92.75) vs. 80.00 (64.00, 90.25), Z=-2.15, P=0.031]. Both groups had significant improvements in objective and subjective indicators after training (all P<0.05). Conclusions:Deliberate practice combined with intensive training at an interval of 3 months can effectively improve the mid- and long-term CPR skills of nurses receiving standardized training and is more suitable for high-level muscle memory training.

Purpose To evaluate the added value of time of flight(TOF)and point spread dispersion(PSF)reconstruction in mediastinal lymph node metastasis of lung cancer in 18F-FDG PET/CT imaging.Materials and Methods Sixty-eight lung cancer patients with mediastinal lymph node metastasis who underwent PET/CT examination in the First People's Hospital of Foshan from March 9,2020 to July 23,2021 were analyzed retrospectively.The different methods,including ordered subsets estimation maximization(OSEM),OSEM+TOF,OSEM+PSF,OSEM+TOF+PSF,were used to reconstruct the images.The resolution of different reconstruction algorithms for mediastinal lymph node metastasis of lung cancer,as well as the differences of signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)and standard uptake value(SUV)were compared,respectively.Results The highest values of SUVmean,SUVmax and SNR were obtained via OSEM+TOF+PSF method,which increased by 21.99%,22.86%and 60.14%,compared with conventional OSEM method(t=28.321,19.11,11.059,all P<0.01).The difference percentage in smaller lesions that diameter≤22 mm was significantly higher than that in larger lesions that diameter>22 mm(24.1%vs.21.1%,25.3%vs.19.3%,70.6%vs.63.3%;Z=-3.658,-4.313,-2.154,all P<0.05),and the difference percentage in low contrast lesions that SNR≤15.31 was significantly higher than that in high contrast lesions that SNR>15.31(23.6%vs.21.4%,25.3%vs.21.1%,85.7%vs.46.0%;Z=-3.519,-2.336,-5.106,all P<0.05).Among the evaluation results of lesion detectability of different reconstruction algorithms,OSEM+TOF+PSF image showed the mediastinal lymph node metastasis most clearly(87.4%of the lesions were clearly existing),which was significantly higher than that of OSEM image(73.1%of lesions were clearly existing)(χ2=11.704,P=0.001),however,the proportion of lesions clearly existing in OSEM+PSF image did not significantly increase compared with OSEM image(73.1%vs.75.8%;χ2=0.361,P=0.548).Conclusion The combination of TOF and PSF can significantly improve the detection ability,SNR and SUV of mediastinal lymph node metastasis of lung cancer,especially in small and low contrast lesions.

Electroencephalography (EEG), as a convenient and non-invasive technique, is highly sensitive to brain function abnormalities and has been widely applied in the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy and other neurological diseases (applied research in stroke field has a history of decades). In recent years, with the deepening of related research and rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, EEG has shown new potential in early diagnosis, disease monitoring and prognosis assessment of stroke. This review discusses the recent advance in EEG in evaluating the diagnosis, therapeutic efficacy, and prognoses of stroke in the last 5 years, so as to provide references for improving the diagnosies, treatments and prognoses of stroke patients.

Recombinase polymerase amplification (RPA) is a novel technology for nucleic acid isothermal amplification. It can achieve the rapid amplification and detection of a target gene under 37-42 ℃. This amplification method is highly sensitive, more specific and less instrument-dependent than other existing methods, and it can also integrate multiple detection modes. Therefore, it is especially suitable for applying in low-resource settings and conducting point-of-care tests. Starting from the reaction principles and the experimental design of RPA, this article pointed out some key points when using RPA in a clinical setting. The current development and related problems of RPA were concluded and the various future uses of this method were also prospected.

In recent years, obesity has become a global public health problem, and the incidence of obesity among children and adolescents in China has been gradually increasing.Obesity in childhood will affect the development and health of children and may lead to an increased incidence of multiple chronic diseases in adulthood.The current main strategy for weight reduction in obese children is to change their dietary habits and increase physical activity, but it is prone to relapseand has a high failure rate.Obese patients exhibit persistent hunger and lack of satiety.Glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists, which suppress appetite and increase satiety, have successfully treated adult obesity with good results.This article will discuss the feasibility and safety of using glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists for obesity in children and adolescents by reviewing the possible mechanisms of action of glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists for weight reduction and the clinical data of glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists on obesity in children and adolescents.
