Uterine arteriovenous fistula (UAVF), a relatively rare vascular anomaly, may lead to life-threatening hemorrhage and poses diagnostic and management challenges for primary hospitals during initial encounters. This article reports four cases of UAVF treated with Drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol tablets at Department of Gynaecology, Zhuji Maternal and Child Health Hospital between 2023 and 2024. Combined with literature review, we systematically analyzed the etiological mechanisms, clinical characteristics, and diagnostic-therapeutic strategies of this condition, with particular focus on evaluating the efficacy and safety of conservative pharmacological management. By summarizing case features and individualized treatment protocols, this study aims to provide clinical references for early identification, accurate diagnosis, and rational intervention of UAVF, thereby reducing risks of massive hemorrhage and long-term complications while improving patient prognosis.

Objective The applications of personalized abutments and abutment crown bridge products have increased year by year,but there is no clear requirement for clinical evaluation of the same variety of such products.This study mainly introduces the clinical evaluation concerns of personalized abutments and abutment crown bridge products,in order to provide reference for the declaration and registration of such products.Methods The clinical evaluation of personalized abutments and crown bridge products are summarized,and the research content of clinical evaluation is clarified.Results The clinical evaluation requirements that need to be considered by enterprises are introduced.Conclusion Personalized abutment and abutment crown bridge products can refer to this study when they are launched in China,mainly using in vitro performance comparison tests for equivalence verification.

Objective:To determine divalent mercury,methylmercury and ethylmercury in Huoxue Zhitong capsules,and to provide data support for the risk assessment and management of traditional medicines products.Methods:High performance liquid chromatography-hydrogenation-atomic fluorescence spectrometry(HPLC-HG-AFS)was used to determine the content of three forms of mercury(divalent mercury,Hg2+;methyl mercury,CH3 Hg;ethyl mercury,C2H5Hg)in different batches of Huoxue Zhitong capsules.Chromatographic conditions were C18 column(250 mm ×4.6 mm,5 μ·m)and acetonitrile-0.06 mol·L-1 ammonium acetate solution(containing 0.01 mol·L-1 L-cysteine)(5∶95)as a mobile phase.Hydride generation parameters were oxidant agent of 1％potassium persulfate-0.35％potassium hydroxide mixed solution,reducing agent of 2.0％potassium borohydride-0.35％potassium hydroxide mixed solution,carrier solution of 7％hydrochloric acid,negative high pressure of 285 V,and atomizer height of 10 mm.Results:The linear range of mercury species was 1.00-10.0 μg·L-1 with r＞0.999.The detection limit values were 0.088-0.131 ng·L-1,and the average recoveries ranged from 91.98％to 93.10％with RSD of＜5.73％(n=3).Three mercury forms in different batches of Huoxue Zhitong capsules by HPLC-HG-AFS were below the detection limits.Conclusion:The validated method can be used for the determination of mercury speciation in Huoxue Zhitong capsules and other Chinese patent medicines,which pro-vides a reference for the safety assessment of Chinese patent medicines.

From the perspective of technical evaluation, this article introduces the focus of clinical evaluation of dental implants (systems) in comparison with the comparable devices and discusses the clinical evaluation of such products，combined with the clinical evaluation review of dental implants (systems) products in recent years, in order to provide reference for the registration of these products.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the influence of high frequency partial liquid ventilation (HFJV) on the cardiopulmonary function in dogs with inhalation injury.

METHODSSixteen mongrel dogs inflicted by hot steam inhalation were subjected to severe inhalation injury and were randomly divided into control (C) and treatment (T) groups. The dogs in both groups were all given HFJV. In addition, the dogs in T group were simultaneously supplied with perfluorocarbon liquid (3 ml/kg) into the lungs slowly via tracheal intubation for liquid ventilation. The blood gas analysis, pulmonary compliance, airway resistance and hemodynamic parameters were determined at 30, 60 and 90 minutes after ventilation.

RESULTSThe PaO(2) in T group increased progressively, which was significantly higher than the post-injury value at all time points (P < 0.05). While the PaO(2) in C group exhibited no difference to the post-injury value at all time points. The PaCO(2) in T group increased obviously and was higher than the post-injury value at 60 and 90 post-ventilation minutes (P < 0.05). Furthermore, the PaO(2) in all the time points in T group was a little higher than that in C group (P > 0.05) and PaCO(2) in T group was much higher than that in C group at 90 min after ventilation (P < 0.05). But there was no difference between the two groups in terms of dynamic/static pulmonary compliance and airway resistance as well as the hemodynamics.

CONCLUSIONCompared with simple HFJV, high frequency partial liquid ventilation seemed to be beneficial to the oxygenation after inhalation injury and to be no influence on the hemodynamics.
