Objective To compare the clinical efficacy and safety differences between the triple immunosuppressive regimen of mizoribine (MZR) or mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) combined with tacrolimus (Tac) and glucocorticoids of kidney transplant recipients in one year after transplantation. Methods A single-center retrospective cohort study design was adopted. The clinical data of 156 patients who underwent the first allogeneic kidney transplantation at the Third Hospital of Peking University from January 2022 to December 2024 were included. The patients were divided into the MZR group (78 cases) and the MMF group (78 cases) based on the initial immunosuppressive regimen after transplantation. The baseline data, medication use in one year after transplantation, blood routine indicators, adverse events and clinical outcomes were compared between the two groups. For the repeated-measurement longitudinal data, repeated-measurement analysis of variance was used to evaluate the main effects of the groups, time and their interaction effects. Results At the primary efficacy endpoint, there were no statistically significant differences in the one-year survival rate, graft survival rate and incidence of acute rejection between the two groups (all P > 0.05). In terms of medication patterns and laboratory test indicators, there were significant time main effects and "time × group" interaction effects for Tac dosage (all P < 0.05). The Tac dosage in the MZR group was lower than that in the MMF group from 2 to 3 months after transplantation, and it was higher in the MZR group than in the MMF group from 7 to 12 months and one year after transplantation. White blood cell count in the MZR group was higher at one month after transplantation, and the platelet count was higher one year after transplantation (all P < 0.05). In terms of infection, the incidence of novel coronavirus and Pneumocystis jirovecii pneumonia infections in the MZR group was lower (all P < 0.05). In terms of metabolic indicators, the post-transplantation uric acid level was better in the MZR group than in the MMF group, but the total cholesterol level was higher one year after transplantation (all P < 0.05). In terms of liver function, there was a brief and mild increase in transaminase in the early stage after transplantation in the MZR group. Conclusions During the one-year follow-up after transplantation, both the MZR and MMF regimens demonstrate comparable immunosuppressive efficacy and overall safety in Chinese kidney transplant recipients. The MZR regimen shows clear advantages in reducing specific infection risks, alleviating bone marrow suppression and improving uric acid metabolism, but its potential impact on blood lipids needs to be monitored. Therefore, the MZR regimen may be an effective and safe alternative immunosuppressive option for kidney transplant recipients, especially those with high infection risk, poor hematological tolerance, or comorbid hyperuricemia.

Acute ischemic stroke (AIS) is a cerebrovascular disease characterized by high morbidity, disability, and mortality, posing a significant threat to human health. Endovascular treatment has now been established as a key method for AIS management, in which stent retrievers that can mechanically remove blood clots play a key role in this technique. In recent years, stent retrievers have evolved in complexity and functionality to improve the ability of clot removing and surgical safety. However, the present instruments still have limitations on treatment efficiency, vascular adaptability, and operational precision, posing an urgent need for innovation in the design of stent retrievers. This paper systematically reviewed the structural features and working principles of AIS stent retrievers from the perspective of efficacy evaluation metrics, historical development, recent advancements in stent retrieval technology, and future prospects.

Objective:To explore the effect of melatonin on mitophagy in the brain tissue of rats with early subarach-noid hemorrhage(SAH).Methods:The rat model of SAH was established by internal carotid artery puncture and trea-ted with melatonin by intraperitoneal injection.At 24 hours after the operation,the neurological function of rats was de-tected by mNSS score and balance beam test.The contents of reactive oxygen species(ROS),malondialdehyde(MDA),and glutathione(GSH)and in brain tissue were detected by commercial reagent kits.The expression changes of PINK1/Parkin,microtubule-associated protein1A/1B-light chain3(LC3)and p62 in brain tissue were detected by Western blot.Results:Melatonin can significantly improve the neurological function of SAH rats,reduce the con-tents of MDA(P<0.05)and ROS(P<0.05),and increase the content of GSH(P<0.05).Meanwhile,Western blot detection indicated that melatonin could increase the expression of PINK1 and Parkin(P<0.05),increase the ratio of LC3-II/LC3-I(P<0.05),and reduce the expression of p62(P<0.05).Conclusion:Melatonin alleviates early brain injury in rats with subarachnoid hemorrhage through PINK1/Parkin-mediated mitophagy.

Objective:This study was to establish a rat model of controlled motor cortex impact injury(CCI).Methods:SD rat CCI model was prepared by electromagnetic shock method.A neurologic severity score(NSS)was employed to evaluate the status of the rat after injury.The changes of neuron-specific enolase(NSE)in serum were detected by ELISA.The sensomotor function was detected by sticker removal test,and the fine motor function was de-tected by food pellets grasping test.Results:The serum NSE level of rats increased 1 h after CCI trauma,and reached the highest level 6 h after CCI trauma.The sensomotor function and fine motor function of CCI model rats were signifi-cantly impaired.Conclusion:The CCI model of rat motor cortex was successfully established,and the rats showed obvious motor dysfunction.

Background: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), which has occurred since the end of 2019, has caused tremendous damage not only in terms of disease and death but also in terms of economy. Accordingly, governments implemented health and quarantine policies to prevent the transmission and spread of COVID-19 and minimize economic effects, and implemented various countermeasures to reduce social and economic damage. However, the damage varies from country to country, and there are differences in the response of each government. Methods: Using 2020 data from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development countries, the effectiveness of governments’ quarantine and economic policies in response to COVID-19 was calculated, and what factors determine the effectiveness were analyzed. While most of the previous studies analyzed the relationship between the government’s quarantine policy and corona transmission and death, this study is characterized by considering the economic aspect in addition. Results: As a result of the analysis, the following results were obtained. First, when economic aspects are not considered, Asian and European countries have similar levels of efficiency, but when economic aspects are taken into account, Asian countries have higher efficiency. Second, population density had a negative effect on the efficiency of each country’s policy, and long-term orientation was found to have an important impact when considering the economic aspect. Conclusion We found that the governance index is an important variable influencing the efficiency, which shows that the effectiveness of government policies in response to the coronavirus depends heavily on the trust relationship between the government and the people.

Objective To investigate the effect of BIS-guided closed-loop target-controlled infusion on perioperative Th1/Th2 balance in elderly patients undergoing laparoscopic radical gastrectomy under different anesthesia and sedation depths. Methods We applied random number table method to divide 73 elderly patients undergoing elective laparoscopic radical gastrectomy into BIS closed-loop target-controlled infusion group with BIS value of 55(group H, n=36) and BIS value of 45(group L, n=37).Intravenous blood samples were collected immediately before surgery (T1), 2h after surgery (T2), 24h after surgery (T3) and 72h after surgery (T4).IL-2, IL-4, IL-6, IL-10, TNF-α and IFN-γ were determined by flow cytometry microsphere array.We compared operation duration, postoperative PACU stay time and postoperative hospitalization time between two groups. Results Compared with T1, IL-6 and IL-10 concentration in group H at T2, T3 and T4 significantly increased (P < 0.05), IL-4 and TNF-α in group H at T4 were significantly increased (P < 0.05), IL-2 and IFN-γ in group H at T2 and T4 were significantly increased (P < 0.05), the concentration of IL-6 and IL-10 in group L at T2, T3 and T4 were increased (P < 0.05), IL-2 in group L at T4 was decreased (P < 0.05), and IFN-γ/IL-6 in two groups were decreased at T2, T3 and T4(P < 0.05).Compared with group L, IL-6 and IL-10 in group H were significantly increased at T2(P < 0.05), IFN-γ/IL-6 in group H was significantly decreased (P < 0.05), IL-2 and IL-10 in group H were significantly increased at T4(P < 0.05).Operation duration, postoperative PACU stay time and postoperative hospitalization time had no statistical significance between two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion The anesthesia and sedation depth of BIS-guided closed-loop target-controlled infusion set at 45 is better than 55 in maintaining Th1/Th2 balance in elderly patients undergoing laparoscopic radical gastrectomy, but it has no obvious effect on long-term prognosis.

OBJECTIVE：To provid e reference for pharmaceutical workers to better understand Novel Coronavirus Infection ： Expert Consensus on Guidance and Prevention Strategies for Hospital Pharmacists and the Pharmacy Workforce （hereinafter referred to as “expert consensus ”），and to apply and practice in specific work ，so as to give full play to the role of pharmacists to help fight the epidemic.METHODS ：The background of the formulation and revision of the expert consensus were introduced ，and its main contents and viewpoints were interpreted. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS ：The text of expert consensus is divided into 8 parts，mainly including disease diagnosis and treatment [SARS-CoV- 2 infection related background ，clinical manifestations and diagnosis， treatment]，hospital pharmacy （prevention and control strategy ，work guidance ），drug and facility support management（key drug/facility/equipment support ，management and use of the drug in special circumstances ），information sources and related resources ，etc.，which comprehensively and detailedly provide information ，guidance and strategies for coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 infection prevention and control to play the role of pharmacists in hospital pharmacy well ，do well in the protection of staff in different pharmaceutical posts ，drug security work in response to epidemic situation ，and develop pharmaceutical care. So far，the understanding of SARS-CoV- 2 in the pharmaceutical industry is relatively limited. Based on the accumulated experience and progress in epidemic prevention and control ，the expert consensus will be updated and improved continuously ，so as to provide guidance and help for hospital pharmaceutical personnel.

Objective To investigate the expression of a dismtegnn and metalloproteinase-12 (ADAM12) and proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) in human bladder carcinoma,and to explore their correlation with different grades and stages of bladder cancer.Methods Biopsies of 12 normal bladder and 43 bladder tumors were performed.And immunohistochemistry was conducted to detect the expression of ADAM12 and PCNA in the biopsies.Results Positive expression signals of ADAM12 were detected significantly higher inthe bladder cancer biopsies than that in the normal ones (Z =4.879,P ＜ 0.05),and the expression level of ADAM-12 in lower histological grade was significantly higher than that in the moderate and higher histological grades (x2 =22.3685,P ＜ 0.01).Positive expression signals of PCNA were detected significantly higher in the bladder cancer biopsies than that in the normal ones (Z =4.879,P ＜ 0.05)).Those with lower histological grade had a higher expression level of PCNA when compared with the moderate and higher histological grades (x2 =10.665,P =0.0137).The expression of ADAM-12 was positively correlated with PCNA in bladder cancer (r =1.000,P ＜ 0.0001).Conclusion The over expression of ADAM12 and PCNA maybe play an important role in development of the bladder tumors.And ADAM12 may be a promising biomarker of bladder cancer in the clinical behavior.

Objective To investigate the expression of adamalysin-12 (ADAM-12) and PCNA in human bladder carcinoma and to investigate their correlation with different grades and stages of bladder cancer.Methods Biopsies of 15 normal bladder and 43 bladder tumors were analyzed.Immunohistochemistry was conducted to detect the expression of ADAM12 and PCNA in the biopsies.Results Postive expression signals of ADAM12 were detected significantly higher in the bladder cancer biopsies than that in the normal ones (P = 0.010).Those with lower histological grade had a higher expression level of ADAM-12 compared to the higher histological grades (P ＜0.001 ).Positive expression signals of PCNA were detected significantly higher in the bladder cancer biopsies than that in the normal ones (P = 0.026).Those with lower histological grade had a higher expression level of PCNA (P =0.014).There was a positive correlation between the expression of ADAM-12 and PCNA in bladder cancer (r =0.997,P ＜ 0.001 ).Conclusions The overexpression of ADAM-12 and PCNA in the biopsies of bladder tumors shows that protein expression of ADAM-12 and PCNA correlated with tumor stage and grade.Furthermore,ADAM-12 may be a promising biomarker of bladder cancer in the clinical implication.
