Meditation aims to guide individuals into a state of deep calm and focused attention, and in recent years, it has shown promising potential in the field of medical treatment. Numerous studies have demonstrated that electroencephalogram (EEG) patterns change during meditation, suggesting the feasibility of using deep learning techniques to monitor meditation states. However, significant inter-subject differences in EEG signals poses challenges to the performance of such monitoring systems. To address this issue, this study proposed a novel model-calibrated multi-source adversarial adaptation network (CMAAN). The model first trained multiple domain-adversarial neural networks in a pairwise manner between various source-domain individuals and the target-domain individual. These networks were then integrated through a calibration process using a small amount of labeled data from the target domain to enhance performance. We evaluated the proposed model on an EEG dataset collected from 18 subjects undergoing methamphetamine rehabilitation. The model achieved a classification accuracy of 73.09%. Additionally, based on the learned model, we analyzed the key EEG frequency bands and brain regions involved in the meditation process. The proposed multi-source domain adaptation framework improves both the performance and robustness of EEG-based meditation monitoring and holds great promise for applications in biomedical informatics and clinical practice.

Objective To analyze the disease burden of hip osteoarthritis(HOA)and its changing trends in China from 1990 to 2021.Methods Utilizing the Global Burden of Disease(GBD)2021 database,age-standardized incidence rate(ASIR),age-standardized prevalence rate(ASPR),and age-standardized disability adjusted life years(DALY)rate(ASDR)of HOA were compared and analyzed in China,globally,and in regions with high sociodemographic index(SDI)from 1990 to 2021.Joinpoint regression model was used to analyze the temporal trend of disease burden,and age and gender were combined to deeply analyze the disease burden of HOA in China.Meanwhile,the age-period-cohort model was used to analyze the influencing factors and the Bayesian age-period-cohort model to predict the trend of China's HOA disease burden in the next 10 years.Results The ASIR,ASPR,and ASDR of HOA in China showed an increasing trend from 1990 to 2021[average annual percentage change(AAPC)were 0.87％,0.82％,and 0.81％,respectively,P＜0.001],and their AAPCs were higher than those of the global and high SDI regions,but in 2021,the ASIR,ASPR,and ASDR of China were lower than those of the global and high SDI regions.Crude incidence,crude prevalence,and crude DALY rate in Chinese HOA increased with age,with the highest number of incidence in the 55-59 age group and the highest number of prevalence,DALY,in the 65-69 age group.In 2021,the ASIR,ASPR and ASDR of HOA in Chinese males were 1.25,1.24 and 1.25 times higher than those in females.Changes in the incidence of HOA in China from 1990 to 2021 were influenced by age,period,and birth cohort.Compared with 2021,new cases of HOA are expected to increase by 37.78％by 2035,and the number of incidence cases in people aged 60 years and above will increase significantly.Conclusion The disease burden of HOA in China continued to rise from 1990 to 2021,and prevention and control need to be strengthened,with a focus on men,high BMI,and middle-aged and older populations.

Objective:To explore the effects of Sangqiao Qingfei Prescription combined with Western medicine conventional therapy with mechanical ventilation on lung function and airway inflammation in patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD) respiratory failure; To evaluate clinical efficacy.Methods:A randomized controlled trial study was conducted. Totally 90 AECOPD patients with respiratory failure in our hospital from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected as the observation subjects. They were divided into two groups using a random number table method, with 45 cases in each group. The control group received mechanical ventilation treatment, while the observation group received Sangqiao Qingfei Prescription on the basis of the control group. Both groups were treated for 2 weeks. TCM syndrome scoring was performed before and after treatment, and the time of successful withdrawal from the machine was recorded; a blood gas analyzer was used to detect PaO 2, PaCO 2, blood oxygen saturation (SaO 2) and pH values; the plateau pressure (Pplat), peak airway pressure (Ppeak), airway resistance (Raw) and dynamic lung compliance (Cdyn) were recorded during the ventilator; a pulmonary function meter was used to measure respiratory rate (RR), maximum expiratory flow (PEF), FVC, FEV1, and the percentage of FEV1 to the estimated value (FEV1% estimated value); serum CRP, TNF-α, and Procalcitonin (PCT) were detected using ELISA method. Clinical efficacy was evaluated. Results:During the treatment period, there were no cases of detachment in both groups. The mechanical ventilation time in the observation group was (7.16 ± 0.69) d, while in the control group it was (9.88 ± 1.04) d, with statistical significance ( t=14.62, P<0.001); after treatment, the main symptom, secondary symptom scores, and total scores of the observation group were lower than those in the control group ( t values of 13.43, 18.53, 31.21, P<0.001); the PaO 2 [(79.16 ± 7.42) mmHg vs. (67.49 ± 6.88) mmHg, t=8.24], SaO 2 [(95.15 ± 9.93)% vs. (84.59 ± 9.48)%, t=5.16], and pH value (7.35 ± 0.23 vs. 7.26 ± 0.16, t=2.16) in the observation group were higher than those in the control group ( P<0.01 or P<0.05), while PaCO 2 [(49.89 ± 3.65) mmHg vs. (62.39 ± 4.27) mmHg, t=14.93] was lower than that of the control group ( P<0.01); after treatment in the observation group, Pplat [(15.31 ± 2.51) cmH 2O vs. (17.53 ± 2.02) cmH 2O, t=4.62], Ppeak [(22.43 ± 3.16) cmH 2O vs. (25.78 ± 3.17) cmH 2O, t=5.02], Raw [(18.96 ± 3.86) cmH 2O/(S?L) vs. (24.29 ± 4.29) cmH 2O/(S?L), t=6.20] were lower than those in the control group ( P<0.01), Cdyn [(34.53 ± 3.35) cmH 2O/(S?L) vs. (30.27 ± 3.87) cmH 2O/(S?L), t=5.58] was higher than the control group ( P<0.01); the RR [(19.25 ± 2.43) times/min vs. (23.49 ± 3.07) times/min, t=7.26] in the observation group was lower than that of the control group ( P<0.01), PEF [(4.99 ± 0.40) L/s vs. (4.03 ± 0.34) L/s, t=12.27], FVC [(3.04 ± 0.20) L vs. (2.14 ± 0.22) L, t=20.31], FEV1 [(2.83 ± 0.20) L vs. (2.16 ± 0.13) L, t=18.84], FEV1% estimated value [(42.23 ± 4.66)% vs. (36.43 ± 5.09)%, t=5.64] were higher than those in the control group ( P<0.01); serum CRP, IL-6, TNF-α and PCT in the observation group were lower than those in the control group ( t values were 18.13, 13.36, 15.97, 30.67, P<0.01). The total effective rate of the observation group was 93.33% (42/45), while that of the control group was 77.78% (35/45), with statistical significance ( χ2=4.41, P=0.036). Conclusion:The combination of Sangqiao Qingfei Prescription and conventional Western medicine treatment with mechanical ventilation can effectively improve lung ventilation function, reduce inflammatory cytokine levels, alleviate inflammatory reactions, and improve clinical efficacy in AECOPD patients with respiratory failure.

Objective To investigate the effect of BIS-guided closed-loop target-controlled infusion on perioperative Th1/Th2 balance in elderly patients undergoing laparoscopic radical gastrectomy under different anesthesia and sedation depths. Methods We applied random number table method to divide 73 elderly patients undergoing elective laparoscopic radical gastrectomy into BIS closed-loop target-controlled infusion group with BIS value of 55(group H, n=36) and BIS value of 45(group L, n=37).Intravenous blood samples were collected immediately before surgery (T1), 2h after surgery (T2), 24h after surgery (T3) and 72h after surgery (T4).IL-2, IL-4, IL-6, IL-10, TNF-α and IFN-γ were determined by flow cytometry microsphere array.We compared operation duration, postoperative PACU stay time and postoperative hospitalization time between two groups. Results Compared with T1, IL-6 and IL-10 concentration in group H at T2, T3 and T4 significantly increased (P < 0.05), IL-4 and TNF-α in group H at T4 were significantly increased (P < 0.05), IL-2 and IFN-γ in group H at T2 and T4 were significantly increased (P < 0.05), the concentration of IL-6 and IL-10 in group L at T2, T3 and T4 were increased (P < 0.05), IL-2 in group L at T4 was decreased (P < 0.05), and IFN-γ/IL-6 in two groups were decreased at T2, T3 and T4(P < 0.05).Compared with group L, IL-6 and IL-10 in group H were significantly increased at T2(P < 0.05), IFN-γ/IL-6 in group H was significantly decreased (P < 0.05), IL-2 and IL-10 in group H were significantly increased at T4(P < 0.05).Operation duration, postoperative PACU stay time and postoperative hospitalization time had no statistical significance between two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion The anesthesia and sedation depth of BIS-guided closed-loop target-controlled infusion set at 45 is better than 55 in maintaining Th1/Th2 balance in elderly patients undergoing laparoscopic radical gastrectomy, but it has no obvious effect on long-term prognosis.

Purpose To investigate the clinical characteristics and Oxford classification of IgA nephropathy patients with hyperurice-mia. Methods 151 IgA nephropathy patients confirmed by renal biopsy in 2013 were analyzed retrospectively. The patients were di-vided into the two groups:IgA nephropathy patients with or without hyperuricemia. Morphological changes were evaluated with Oxford classification scoring system and Lee’s grades. A comparative analysis of clinical manifestations and pathological injuries was performed between the two groups. Results Incidence of hyperuricemia in IgA nephropathy patients was 48. 3% and was more common in young men. Hypertension was associated with hyperuricemia. Oxford classification of IgA nephropathy patients with hyperuricemia was pre-dominant M1E0S1T0 and Lee’s grades presented with grade Ⅲ. The outstanding histopathologic features with higher plasma uric acid levels indicated higher tubulointerstitial chronicity, higher glomerular sclerosis ratio, accompanied by a decline in glomerular filtration rate. There was no significant difference of vascular lesions. Conclusions The prevalence of hyperuricemia in IgA nephropathy pa-tients is high. Oxford classification shows IgA nephropathy with hyperuricemia are associated with more severe tubulointerstitial lesions and lower GFR.

Objective To study the calcium metabolism in tacrolimus(FK506)induced rats nephrotoxicity and the preventive effect of calcium channel blocker.Methods Twenty-four Spragueinduced or FK506-induced nephropathy model.Blood creatinine,blood electrolytes,renal tissue histopathology(HE stain)and the change of ultrastructural organization in renal cells by transmission electron microscope were observed.Results The blood creatinine levels of both CsA and FK506 groups [(36.00±2.61)and(34.17±4.54)μmol/L] were significantly higher than those of the FK506+Dilgroup and control group(all P＜0.05).The blood calcium levels of both CsA and FK506 groups (2.00±0.04 and 2.05±0.04 mmol/L) were significantly lower than those of the FK506+Dil group and control group(all P＜0.05).The blood creatinine and calcium levels of FK506+Dil group were not significantly different with those of control group(P＞O.05).Histopathology examination showed cloudy swelling and vacuolization of the renal tubular epithelial cells and intra-cellular mitochondria swelling and vacuolization in the CsA and FK506 groups.However,the pathological changes of the FK506+Dil group were remarkably milder in comparison with the CsA and FK506 groups.Concluum channel blocker,Dil,could prevent the FK506-induced nephrotoxicity.

Objective To study the change principles of the oxygen free radical on the sub-cellular level in the process of ischemia-reperfusion injury. Methods The activity of superoxide dismutase(SOD) and the content of malondialdehyde(MDA) in the mitochondria and cytoplasm of rat liver with local ischemia-reperfusion were assayed. The histological changes of the liver were observed at the same time. Results The activity of SOD and the content of MDA kept rising and the histological changes of the liver cells kept aggravating in the process of ischemia-reperfusion. Conclusion The ischemia-reperfusion injury of rat liver occurred at the beginning of reperfusion and mitochondria was damaged first, however the injury action could be delayed by self defense.
