Cemental tear is a rare and indetectable condition unless obvious clinical signs present with the involvement of surrounding periodontal and periapical tissues. Due to its clinical manifestations similar to common dental issues, such as vertical root fracture, primary endodontic diseases, and periodontal diseases, as well as the low awareness of cemental tear for clinicians, misdiagnosis often occurs. The critical principle for cemental tear treatment is to remove torn fragments, and overlooking fragments leads to futile therapy, which could deteriorate the conditions of the affected teeth. Therefore, accurate diagnosis and subsequent appropriate interventions are vital for managing cemental tear. Novel diagnostic tools, including cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT), microscopes, and enamel matrix derivatives, have improved early detection and management, enhancing tooth retention. The implementation of standardized diagnostic criteria and treatment protocols, combined with improved clinical awareness among dental professionals, serves to mitigate risks of diagnostic errors and suboptimal therapeutic interventions. This expert consensus reviewed the epidemiology, pathogenesis, potential predisposing factors, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of cemental tear, aiming to provide a clinical guideline and facilitate clinicians to have a better understanding of cemental tear.

[Objective]To collate the records of needle withdrawal techniques from Huangdi Neijing and related ancient Chinese medical texts, summarize the principles of these techniques, and analyze the occasion of needle withdrawal.[Methods]By organizing and analyzing ancient Chinese medical texts, the discussion and summary focus on pathogenic Qi and grain Qi,the deficiency and excess of Qi and blood,Yin and Yang, cold and heat, breathing and exhalation.[Results]Before needle withdrawal,it is necessary to diagnose the patient's condition and constitution. This involves determining the balance of pathogenic and healthy Qi and the deficiency and excess of Qi and blood through pulse diagnosis, assessing cold and heat,Yin and Yang through observation and palpation, and determining the appropriate occasion for needle withdrawal by listening to the patient's breathing.Proper needle withdrawal methods can tonify deficiency and reduce excess.[Conclusion]Huangdi Neijing places great emphasis on the occasion of needle withdrawal. It states that needles should only be withdrawn when the pathogenic factors have been removed and the body is in a state of harmony, with Yin and Yang in balance.Sudden needle withdrawal may cause disruptions in the circulation of Qi and blood or result in the retention of remaining pathogenic factors in the body, which can lead to adverse consequences. This concept holds certain reference value for contemporary clinical acupuncture practice.

Objective:To explore the potential category characteristics of social participation in colorectal cancer patients with stoma and analyze the influencing factors of different potential categories, so as to provide references for formulating and implementing targeted nursing measures. Methods:By using the convenience sampling method, colorectal cancer patients with stoma who were hospitalized or had outpatient follow-up visits at Guilin Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine and the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guilin Medical University from January to December 2024 were selected as the survey subjects. A cross-sectional survey was conducted using the general information questionnaire, the voluntary participation Questionnaire, the Existential Anxiety Scale, the Family Support Scale and the Social Support Rating Scale. Potential profile analysis was used to identify the categories of social participation characteristics of colorectal cancer stoma patients, and multivariate Logistic regression was used to analyze the related influencing factors. Results:A total of 240 valid questionnaires were finally retrieved. Among the 240 colorectal cancer patients with stoma, 126 were male and 114 were female, aged 34-75 (55.63 ± 6.52) years. The social participation score of colorectal cancer patients with stoma was (55.84 ± 8.62) points. The results of potential profile analysis showed that the social participation of colorectal cancer patients with stoma could be divided into three potential categories: low participation-inefficient social life type accounted for 38.3% (92/240), medium participation-efficient indoor participation type accounted for 36.3% (87/240), and high participation-efficient outdoor participation type accounted for 25.4% (61/240). The results of multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that, taking the high participation-efficient outdoor participation type as the reference, age, educational level, presence absence of stoma-related complications, existence of meaningless anxiety, family support, and social support were the influencing factors of low participation-inefficient social life type and medium participation-efficient indoor participation type ( OR values ranged from 0.163 to 1.879, all P<0.05). Conclusions:There are obvious classification characteristics in the social participation of colorectal cancer patients with stoma. Nursing staff can formulate and implement targeted intervention strategies based on different classification characteristics. Starting from the existence of meaningless anxiety in patients, an effective family and social support system should be established to improve their social participation.

Objective:To explore the potential categories and influencing factors of family resilience of breast cancer patients based on potential profile analysis to provide reference for targeted intervention.Methods:Cross-sectional investigation was used. From January 2022 to June 2023, 268 breast cancer patients revisited in the outpatient department or ward of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guilin Medical College and Nanxishan Hospital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region were selected as the study objects. The subjects were investigated by general data questionnaire, Family Resilience Assessment Scale, Medical Coping Style Questionnaire and Perceptive Social Support Scale. Potential profile analysis was used to identify the potential categories of family resilience in breast cancer patients, and ordered multiple Logistic regression analysis was used to determine the influencing factors of family resilience. Results:Totally 268 cases of breast cancer, aged 30-65 (49.51 ± 3.23) years old; the total score of family resilience was (81.78 ± 13.71) points. The family toughness of breast cancer patients could be divided into three potential profiles: low toughness and low coping difficulty group (23.1%), medium toughness and medium coping difficulty group (33.2%), high toughness and high coping difficulty group (43.7%). The results of ordered multiple Logistic regression analysis showed that residence, per capita monthly household income, medical coping style and perceived social support had an impact on the potential categories of family resilience in breast cancer patients (all P<0.05). Conclusions:There is group heterogeneity in family resilience of breast cancer patients. Medical staff should pay attention to the classification of patients in different places of residence and family per capita monthly income, and formulate personalized and precise interventions from the aspects of coping styles and social support to improve family resilience.
