bjective To analyze the growth trends of height and weight among primary and secondary school students, and explore the developmental characteristics and gender differences at different age groups, and to provide a scientific basis for adolescent health policy formulation. Methods Based on 675 175 health examination records of 227 978 students aged 6-17 years in Shiyan City from 2015 to 2024, a logistic growth model was employed to fit the curves of height and weight changes with age. Results From 2015 to 2024, height and weight showed steady increases across all age groups, exhibiting typical sigmoidal growth patterns. The growth rates varied across age groups: the younger age group (6-9 years) showed a moderate growth (annual height increase of 0.5-1.0 cm, weight increase of 0.03-0.06 kg/year), while the older age group (10-17 years) demonstrated a significant growth (annual height increase of 1.5-2.0 cm, weight increase of 0.22-0.38 kg/year). The growth rate curves displayed a unimodal distribution. The growth inflection points of male students occurred later than that of female students (height inflection point: 9.87 years for males vs. 8.98 years for females; weight inflection point: 10.70 years for males vs. 9.99 years for females). Female students experienced a more concentrated but shorter period of growth and development. The peak height growth rate was 7.40 cm/year at age 9 for females and 7.09 cm/year at age 10 for males, while the peak weight growth rate was 5.04 kg/year at age 10 for females and 5.27 kg/year at age 11 for males. Conclusion The physical development of primary and secondary school students in Shiyan City follows a logistic growth pattern, with significant gender differences and characteristics of adolescent growth spurts. Female students exhibit an earlier and more concentrated growth process.

Objective To construct an intelligent analysis system based on visual attention for diabetic retinopathy ( DR) assistant diagnosis and to realize the automatic screening and grading of fundus images of DR. Methods Total of 35126 DR fundus images were downloaded from the Diabetic Retinopathy Detection competition in the Data Modeling and Data Analysis Competition Platform (Kaggle),and 1200 fundus images were downloaded from the Messidor website. Firstly,according to the characteristics of DR fundus images,a series of preprocessing was carried out for retina images. Then,on the basis of VGG16 network,visual attention SENet module was introduced to improve the saliency of lesion features,and a deep convolution neural network SEVGG with complex network structure was generated. The network basically inherited some structural parameters of VGG16,and the parameters of SENet module were adjusted according to the basic network and training data set. Finally, the SEVGG network model was used to screen the DR fundus image,and the fundus image was divided into different levels according to the degree of lesions of DR in different periods. Configure the training platform and environment and perform algorithm performance verification experiments. Results The method proposed in this study was tested on different open standard datasets,and finally achieved high accuracy in image-based classification. The accuracy of 5 classification in Kaggle dataset was 83％,the sensitivity of lesion detection was 99. 86％ and the specificity was 99. 63％. The accuracy rate of the 4 classification in the Messidor data set was up to 88％,the sensitivity of the lesion detection was 98. 17％,and the specificity was 96. 39％. The introduction of visual attention was more significant for the focus of the lesion,which helped the accurate detection of DR. Conclusions This method effectively avoids some shortcomings of traditional artificial feature extraction and fundus image classification,and is more accurate for lesion recognition. It is not only superior to the previous method,but also shows better robustness and generalization.

Objective To investigate the application value of functional exercise pathway in enhanced recovery of patients undergoing hepatectomy.Methods Fifty primary hepatic carcinoma patients who had undergone liver resection in Anhui Province Hospital from December 2014 to August 2015 were randomly divided into experimental group (n =25) and control group (n =25).Postoperative length of hospital stay,hospitalization charges,complications,postoperative pain score,postoperative ambulation and intestinal ventilation time were compared between these groups.Measurement data with normal distribution were represented as ((x) ± s) and comprison between groups was analyzed using the t test.Comparisons of count data were analyzed by the x2 test.Results Postoperative length of hospital stay of the experimental group [(7.00 ± 2.27) days] were shorter than control group [(9.36 ± 4.58) days] (t =3.090,P =0.003),and hospitalization expense was lower in the experimental group [(28 184.57 ± 8 675.65) yuan] (t =2.281,P =0.025).Compared with control group (40％),the experimental group (20％) had lower overall complication incidence (t =4.286,P =4.286),and general complications incidence (8％) is lower than that in control group (24％),however,the incidence of operation characteristic complications had not statistical significance in two groups.Besides,the intestinal recovery time in the experimental group was shorter than control group (experimental group 36.56 hours,control group 45.24 hours,t =2.390,P =0.019).Conclusion The application of functional exercise pathway in postoperative enhanced recovery exercise of patients undergoing hepatectomy is safe and effective,which can reduce the patients' postoperative hospital stay,hospital costs,and the general incidence of complications incidence,and be helpful for the intestinal function recovery.

Objective To evaluate the association between plasma levels of visfatin and adiponectin with carotid arterial intima-media thickness in patients with type 2 diabetes.Methods A total of 100 elderly patients with type 2 diabetes and 30 healthy elderly controls were recruited from August 2015 to August 2016 at our hospital.Based on carotid arterial intima-media thickness(IMT) assessed via color Doppler ultrasonography,patients with diabetes were further divided into a thickened IMT group (40 cases)and a non-thickened IMT group (60 cases).Plasma levels of visfatin and adiponectin were analyzed and compared,and their associations with carotid arterial IMT were evaluated.Results Compared with the control group,patients in both the thickened IMT group and the non-thickened IMT group had significantly higher serum levels of visfatin(19.1 ± 2.8)μg/L vs.(40.6±3.9)μg/L,(28.9±3.6)μg/L,which was markedly higher in the thickened IMT group than in the non-thickened IMT group(P＜0.05).In addition,compared with the control group,patients in the thickened IMT group and the non-thickened IMT group had significantly lower serum levels of adiponectin(1 590±330)mg/L,(610±170)mg/L,(930±210)mg/L,which was markedly lower in the thickened IMT group than in the non-thickened IMT group (P ＜ 0.05).Furthermore,Pearson's analysis showed that the plasma level of visfatin was positively correlated with carotid arterial IMT(r =0.721,P＜0.05),and the plasma level of adiponectin was negatively correlated with carotid arterial IMT(r=-0.688,P＜0.05).Conclusions Plasma levels of visfatin and adiponectin are closely related to carotid arterial IMT in patients with type 2 diabetes,andmay be used as plasma markers for the prediction of early atherosclerosis.

Objective To study the diagnosis and treatment of primary adenosquamous carcinoma (ASC) of liver.Methods The clinical and histopathological data of 2 patients with ASC were analyzed retrospectively.The cases were confirmed by surgery and histopathological examination.Results The tumors were located in the left liver in these 2 patients.Both patients presented with abdominal pain and they underwent surgical resection.On gross pathological examination,the tumors were irregular in shape with unclear boundaries.Microscopically,the tumor cells were arranged in a nesting pattern with a tubular structure,which was an adenosquamous carcinoma structure.One patient survived 4 months after surgery and the other patient died of intrahepatic tumour recurrence 7 months after surgery.Conclusions The diagnosis of primary hepatic ASC relied on histopathological examination.Surgical resection was safe and feasible.

Purpose To investigate the expression of autophagy-related protein LC3B in cervical squamous carcinoma and its relation-ship with Ki-67 expression. Methods To detect the expression of LC3B in 16 cases of normal cervical tissues and 126 cases of squa-mous cell carcinoma by immunohistochemical staining. In addition, Ki-67 protein was also detected in 126 cases of squamous cell car-cinoma in the same assay. The relationship between LC3B expression and Ki-67 in cervical squamous cell cancer was statistical analy-sis. Results Expression level of LC3B were significantly lower in cervical squamous carcinoma than normal squamous epithelial cells (P<0. 05), and the expression of LC3B was negatively correlated with Ki-67(rs = -0. 248, P<0. 05). Conclusion It appears that decreased levels of autophagy which indicated by low expression of LC3B may promote cancer cell proliferation in the early stages of cervical squamous cell carcinoma, which provides a clinical referential evidence for further explore the mechanism of autophagy in cer-vical cancer development.

Objective To prepare a new type of micropore porcine acellular dermis matrix with the aid of laser (LPADM),and to validate the healing effect of the LPADM through the phrase Ⅰ composite transplanting on the back of the full- thickness skin defects in SD rats.Methods In vitro,the allogeneic fibroblasts were separately cultured with the LPADM (LPADM group) or the non-pore PADM (non-pore LPADM group),while fibroblasts cultured by pure medium were used as control.After culture of 1 day,3 days and 5 days,the contents of IL-10,IL-6,TGF-β1,LN,VEGF expressed by fibroblasts were determined by double-antibody sandwich ELISA method.In vivo,the phrase Ⅰ transplantations of LPADM graft with split-thickness autologous skin were carried on the backs of the full-thickness cutaneous defects of SD rats.The healing condition was observed and analyzed by histological tests.Results The differences of the absorbance value between the LPADMgroup,PADM group and control group in each day were not statistically significant (F=0.050-1.763,P＞0.05).The transplantation of LPADM graft with split-thickness autologous skin graft resulted in high rate of surviving without signs of rejection 3 weeks later.After 1-month of transplantation,the regenerated skin was well enough to be lifted without any serious scars.Conclusions The phrase Ⅰ transplantation of LPADM graft with split-thickness autologous skin graft can accelerate the healing process of full-thickness skin wounds with high biological safety.

Objective:To explore the relationship between the polymorphisms in gene FGFR1, FGF10, FGFI8 and the nonsyndromic cleft lip with or without cleft palate (NS CLP) in Chinese population. Methods: Genomic DNA was isolated from peripheral lymphocytes of 75 patients with NS CLP and their parents and 75 unimpaired healthy children. The polymorphisms in FGFRI gene rs13317, p. E467K, p. M3691 and p. S393S, FGF10 gene rs1448037 and FGFI8 gene rs4043716 were detected by applying three-dimensional (3-D) polyacrylamide gel microarray technology. The data were performed using statis-tical analysis : the genotype frequenc+ y and allele frequency between patients with NSCL/P and control subjects were performed. Haplotype relative risk (HRR) , family based association test (FBAT) , and transmission disequilibrium test (TDT) in nuclear family were performed. Results: There were no poly-morphism in FGFR1 gene p. E467K, p. M369I and p. $393S site, the corresponding base was all G. The polymorphisms of rs13317 and rs1448037 were detected and their genotype frequency and allele frequen-cy showed no significant difference between 75 patients with NSCL/P and 75 normal children. TDT, HRR and FBAT were also no significant differences. The genotype frequency of gene FGF18 rs4043716 showed significant difference, but allele frequency were no significant difference. TDT, HRR and FBAT were also no significant difference. Conclusion: Our studies suggest an association between gene FGF18 rs4043716 and the NS CLP in Chinese population, and no association among gene FGFR1 rs13317, p. FA67K, p. M3691, p. S393S and gene FGF10 rs1448037.

Objective To analyze factors associated with long-term survival of acute leukemia(AL). Methods Clinical data is analyzed in 27 leukemia cases who had at least 5 years free survival (EFS). Combined intensive chemotherapy was administered under the principle of individualization to induce remission.Regular consolidation treatment after remission was strictly continued.Long-term follow up Was kept on,with the therapeutic regimen modified accordingly.Results Complete remission(CR) was achieved in 112 of 143(78.3%)AL patients and 27(18.9%)of them had survived more than 5 years.Conclusion The long-term survival of AL patients is related to the type of AL,leukemia cell burden,extramedullary leukemia, individual treatment,time required to achieve CR,continuous intensive chemotherapy and the regular postremission treatment.

[Objective] To investigate the therapeutic status of laparoscopic management for gallbladder stones and common bile duct stones. [Methods] A Retropective study were adopted to analysize the therapeutic scheme,effect for patients with gallbladder stones and common bile duct stones who were treated from January 1996 to September 2004. [Results] 68 cases were diagnosed, and most of them underwent single stage laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) and common bile duct exploration (LC BDE). A few of them were treated through endoscopic procedure in combination with LC, or open surgery when the minimal invasive surgery failed. [Conclusions] Both them indicated that patients by LC+LCBDE have shorter hospital stay, easier recovery and less complications. LC+LCBDE has obvious advantage over the other methods with appropriate operative time and high success rate. For choledochlithiasis patients, the single laparoscopic management should be a better, major option.
