Objective To investigate the efficacy of preoperative nebulized indocyanine green (ICG)-assisted thoracoscopic anatomical lesion resection (TALR) in treating pediatric congenital pulmonary airway malformation (CPAM). Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on clinical data of 45 children with CPAM who underwent thoracoscopic surgery at the Third Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University between June 2023 and March 2025. The patients were divided into an ICG group (preoperative nebulized ICG 0.5 mg/kg+TALR) and a non-ICG group (TALR under white light), with perioperative and postoperative recovery parameters compared between groups. Results A total of 45 children [22 males, 23 females; median age 7.4 (1.1-75.0) months] were enrolled. The ICG group (n=22) and non-ICG group (n=23) both achieved uneventful recoveries. Compared to the non-ICG group, the ICG group demonstrated significantly shorter surgical duration [91.3 (38.0-144.0) min vs. 100.0 (50.0-175.0) min, P=0.032], reduced intraoperative blood loss [3.0 (2.0-10.0) mL vs. 5.0 (1.0-10.0) mL, P=0.049], shorter postoperative drainage duration [2.7 (1.9-3.9) d vs. 3.4 (1.8-19.9) d, P=0.003], and shortened hospital stay [4.6 (2.9-9.8) d vs. 5.0 (3.9-21.5) d, P=0.013]. Residual lesions occurred in 2 patients from the non-ICG group but none in the ICG group. Intragroup comparisons revealed significant improvements in ratio of time to peak tidal expiratory flow to expiratory time, ratio of volume to peak tidal expiratory flow to expiratory volume, and tidal volume per kilogram after surgery in both groups (P<0.05), though intergroup differences showed no statistical significance (P>0.05). Conclusion Preoperative nebulized ICG administration facilitates lesion identification in CPAM, reduces technical difficulty of TALR, enhances therapeutic outcomes, and provides valuable assistance for performing TALR procedures.

To investigate the bone health status and potential influencing factors of bone mineral density in adult patients with hemophilia, providing a reference for improving their bone health and for the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation intervention of osteoporosis. This study is a retrospective analysis. Adult male patients with hemophilia A who visited the department of rehabilitation medicine at Peking Union Medical College Hospital from July 2022 to February 2024 were selected. Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) and high-resolution peripheral quantitative computed tomography (HR-pQCT) were used to assess the bone mineral density (BMD) of the patients. Anterolateral X-rays and Pettersson radiology scores were performed on the left ankle joint. Hemophilia Joint Health Score (HJHS) version 2.1 was used to calculate the HJHS score of the left ankle and evaluate the joint health status of the included patients. Serum bone metabolism indexes including total procollagen Ⅰ N-terminal propeptide (TP1NP) and C-terminal crosslinking β-isomerized carboxy-telopeptide of type Ⅰ collagen (β-CTX), and serum 25-(OH)D3 were detected. The patients' body composition parameters were measured, including the body mass index(BMI)and the skeletal muscle mass index (SMI). The correlation analysis of BMD detection values and its possible influencing factors was carried out. A total of 33 adult male patients with hemophilia A were selected, including 22 severe patients and 11 moderate patients, with an average age of 31.1±8.4 years. The hip BMD of the included patients was lower than the predicted value of age to varying degrees, and the minimum The hip BMD of adult hemophilia patients decreased.Joint dysfunction may be one of the factors associated with reduced bone density in patients with hemophilia. The increase in osteoclast activity may be accompanied by an increase in compensatory osteoblast activity.

Body weight abnormalities, including overweight, obesity, and underweight, have become a dual public health challenge in Chinese adults: overweight and obesity lead to a variety of chronic complications, while underweight increases the risks of malnutrition, sarcopenia, and organ dysfunction. To systematically address these issues, multidisciplinary experts in endocrinology, sports science, nutrition, and psychiatry from various regions have held multiple weight management seminars. Based on the latest epidemiological data and clinical evidence, they expanded the guideline to include assessment and intervention strategies for underweight, in addition to the core content of obesity management. This guideline outlines the etiological mechanisms, evaluation methods, and multidimensional management strategies for overweight and obesity, covering key areas such as diagnosis and assessment, medical nutrition therapy, exercise prescription, pharmacological intervention, and psychological support. It is intended to provide a scientific and standardized approach to weight management across the adult population, aiming to curb the rising prevalence of obesity, mitigate complications associated with abnormal body weight, and improve nutritional status and overall quality of life.

Objective To explore the correlation between triglyceride-glucose(TyG)index and hyperuricemia in men with normal fasting blood glucose(FPG)levels. Methods A total of 309 men with normal FPG who participated in a health examination at the Ninth Medical Center of the People's Liberation Army General Hospital in April 2024 were enrolled in this study. All the subjects were divided into the normal uric acid(NUA,n=218)group and the hyperuricemia(HUA,n=91)group according to serum uric acid(SUA)levels. Results Scr,TG,weight,SBP,DBP,BMI,ALT,AST,γ-GGT,and TyG index were higher in the HUA group than in the NUA group(P<0.05).Pearson and Spearman correlation analysis showed that SUA were positively correlated with Scr,eGFR,TG,weight,SBP,DBP,BMI,ALT,AST,γ-GGT and TyG(P<0.05),and negatively correlated with HDL-C(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that after adjusting for confounding factors,TyG index remained an important influencing factor for HUA.ROC curve analysis showed that the area under the ROC curve of TyG index predicting hyperuricemia in men with normal FPG was 0.665,with an cutoff value of 8.45.Conclusions TyG index in men with normal FPG are influencing factors for hyperuricemia, indicating that hyperuricemia has a close association with insulin resistance, and is an important component of metabolic syndrome.

Intracranial or extracranial artery stenosis is the major reason of ischemic stroke, which leads to insufficient cerebral blood flow perfusion and triggers cerebral dysfunction. The detection rate of unruptured intracranial aneurysm(UIA)combined with intracranial or extracranial artery stenosis is increasing with advances in diagnostic techniques for cerebrovascular disease.Due to the complexity of location and hemodynamic implications, there is no consensus on the treatment of UIA combined with intracranial or extracranial artery stenosis. This article summarized several types of UIA combined with intracranial or extracranial artery stenosis in terms of anatomical location, hemodynamics, and therapy strategies, aiming to provide references for clinical interventionalists.
