Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder （ADHD） is often accompanied by tic disorder. The core pathogenesis is considered to be ministerial fire scorching yin and internal stirring of deficient wind， which leads to disharmony between the body and spirit， resulting in clinical manifestations. The treatment principles emphasize nourishing yin fluids， calming ministerial fire， and extinguishing endogenous wind （内风）. The method of nourishing yin fluids is applied throughout the entire treatment process， commonly using ingredients such as Shudihuang （Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata）， Shanzhuyu （Corni Fructus）， Gouqizi （Lycii Fructus）， Wuweizi （Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus）， and Tusizi （Cuscutae Semen）. These are combined with approaches to harmonize the zang-fu organs， primarily including extinguishing liver wind， clearing heart fire， nourishing kidney water， and strengthening spleen earth， thereby stabilizing ministerial fire and extinguishing endogenous wind. Additionally， emotional regulation and smoothing emotional constraint are essential to improve clinical symptoms in children with ADHD comorbid with tic disorder.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the effects of galangin （GLA） on autophagy and apoptosis of chondrocytes in knee osteoarthritis （KOA） rats by regulating the adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase （AMPK）/mammalian target of rapamycin （mTOR）/UNC-51-like kinase 1 （ULK1） signaling pathway. METHODS KOA rat model was constructed and separated into model group， L-GLA， M-GLA， H-GLA groups [subcutaneous injection of 100， 200， 400 μg/kg GLA]， GLA+Compound C group [subcutaneous injection of 400 μg/kg GLA+0.2 mg/kg AMPK inhibitor Compound C]， with 10 rats in each group. Additionally， 10 normally fed rats were selected as the sham operation group. After the last medication， the degree of knee joint swelling of rats in each group was detected； the pathology of knee joints in KOA rats was observed. The serum expressions of matrix metalloproteinase 13 （MMP-13） and interleukin-1β （IL-1β） in KOA rats were detected； the autophagy of chondrocytes in KOA rats was observed； the chondrocyte apoptosis in KOA rats was detected； the phosphorylation of AMPK/mTOR/ULK1 pathway-related proteins in cartilage tissue of knee joint were detected in rats. RESULTS Compared with the sham operation group， the arrangement of articular chondrocytes in the model group was disordered， with nuclear pyknosis and severe fibrosis of the articular cartilage layer， accompanied by a large amount of inflammatory cell infiltration； the degree of joint swelling， the number of autophagic vacuoles and apoptosis rate of chondrocytes， serum levels of MMP-13 and IL-1β， and the phosphorylation of mTOR protein in cartilage tissue of knee joint were all increased significantly （P＜0.05）， while the phosphorylation of AMPK and ULK1 protein were all decreased significantly in cartilage tissue of knee joint （P＜0.05）. Compared with the model group， L- GLA， M-GLA， H-GLA groups showed significant improvement in joint cartilage injury and reduced infiltration of inflammatory cells in rats. The above quantitative indicators were significantly reversed in a dose-dependent manner，except the number of autophagic vacuoles increased significantly （P＜0.05）. Compared with the H-GLA group， the GLA+ Compound C group showed aggravated cartilage tissue of joint cartilage injury and inflammatory cell infiltration in rats， and the above quantitative indicators were reversed significantly （P＜0.05）. CONCLUSIONS GLA can promote autophagy and inhibit apoptosis of chondrocytes in KOA rats， the mechanism of which may be associated with activating AMPK/mTOR/ULK1 signaling pathway.

Hydrogen-rich water (HRW) shows excellent antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and wound-healing properties and plays a positive role in the treatment of various diseases, such as brain injury, kidney injury, and periodontitis. Current studies found that HRW can inhibit periodontopathogenic biofilm formation, inhibit oral connective tissue and bone tissue destruction, and show anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties in periodontitis. Additionally, HRW can alleviate periodontal tissue damage by inhibiting oxidative stress and up-regulating the expression of antioxidant enzymes, such as glutathione peroxidase and superoxide dismutase. HRW exerts anti-inflammatory effects by regulating the nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 and mitogen-activated protein kinase pathways, which are closely associated with inflammation. Additionally, HRW inhibits the expression of inflammatory cytokines, such as interleukins, inhibits the growth and proliferation of bacterial plaque biofilms, and down-regulates glycosyltransferases and glucan-binding proteins to prevent bacterial adhesion and subsequent development of periodontitis. Furthermore, HRW has a positive effect on the expression of various cell growth factors, α-smooth muscle actin, and type I collagen, which promotes wound healing. Current clinical studies have demonstrated the biological safety of HRW (to a certain extent) and reported no adverse reactions. However, most studies on HRW in oral diseases are preclinical in vivo and in vitro studies. Therefore, further clinical studies are required to validate the therapeutic significance and optimal therapeutic regimen of HRW in human periodontitis. This article aims to review the therapeutic role and the underlying mechanisms of HRW in periodontitis.

Objective : To explore the advantages of static navigation in locating calcified root canal therapy, and to provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment of calcified teeth. Methods: A case of acute periapical periodontitis of anterior teeth with full-length calcification of root canal was reported. A lingual minimally invasive approach was used as a conservative method of controlling the infection of teeth and preserving the incisors through the digital guide plate. The diagnosis and treatment of this type of case were analyzed retrospectively with reference to the literature. Results: One patient complained that the pain of left anterior teeth was aggravated for 2 days. After examination, he was diagnosed with acute periapical periodontitis of 21 teeth with total root canal calcification. With the assistance of static navigation, the root canal was located after 10 minutes, the calcification was dredged for 15 minutes, and the acute pain symptoms of the patient were relieved that day. After one year of follow-up, there was no discomfort in the teeth, and the range of low-density shadow in the apical film was reduced. After 3 years of follow-up, there was no discomfort in the teeth, and the low-density shadow of the apical root was further reduced by apical film examination. As shown by the results of the literature review, static navigation technology is advantageous because the success rate of dredging calcified root canals is neither associated with the operator’s treatment experience nor the use of microscope and ultrasonic equipment. Regardless of the degree of calcification, this method can significantly reduce the iatrogenic risk, but it is closely related to the accuracy and stability of the guide plate. However, this method is not suitable for calcified teeth with calcification under root canal curvature and limited operating space. Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) is recommended to locate calcified root canals, and the imaging quality is an important factor that affects the correct preoperative planning. When performing static navigation endodontic treatment, thermal damage can be reduced by selecting a drill with a small diameter that matches the guide ring and cooling the drill with frozen irrigation solution. Conclusion Static navigation-assisted treatment of calcified root canals is accurate and minimally invasive, which reduces clinical treatment time, preserves the lingual approach at the incisal ridge to further ensure the integrity of teeth, and ensures the long-term preservation of affected teeth.

OBJECTIVE To establish fingerprint， chemical pattern recognition and multi-component quantification analysis of Sanzi powder， and evaluate its quality. METHODS HPLC method was adopted. The fingerprints of 15 batches of Sanzi powder were established by using the Similarity Evaluation System for Chromatographic Fingerprint of Traditional Chinese Medicine （2012 edition）. Cluster analysis， principal component analysis and orthogonal partial least squares-discriminant analysis were also conducted. The variable importance in projection （VIP） value greater than 1 was used as the index to screen the differential markers， and the contents of the differential markers were determined by the same HPLC method. RESULTS A total of 21 common peaks in the HPLC fingerprints of 15 batches of Sanzi powder were calibrated， and the similarities of them were 0.994- 0.999； 6 common peaks were identified， including gallic acid （peak 3）， garminoside （peak 10）， corilagin （peak 11）， chebulinic acid （peak 16）， ellagic acid （peak 18）， crocin Ⅰ （peak 19）. According to the results of cluster analysis， YKD2024LH005，No.YKD2023LH062） principal component analysis and orthogonal partial least squares-discriminant analysis， 15 batches of samples could be clustered into two categories： S1， S5， S7， S9， S14 were clustered into one category； S2-S4， S6， S8， S10-S13， S15 were clustered into one category. VIP values of 11 differential components such as corilagin， chebulinic acid and ellagic acid were higher than 1. Among 15 batches of samples， the contents of corilagin， chebulinic acid and ellagic acid ranged 2.667-5.152， 9.506- 13.522， 0.891-1.811 mg/g. CONCLUSIONS Established HPLC fingerprint and multi-component quantification analysis of Sanzi powder are rapid and simple， and can be used for quality evaluation of Sanzi powder by combining with chemical pattern recognition. Eleven components such as corilagin， chebulinic acid and ellagic acid are differential markers affecting the quality of Sanzi powder.

By analyzing the current application of multi-modal data in the diagnosis of gastric "inflammation-cancer" transformation， this study explored the feasibility and strategies for constructing a disease-syndrome integrated diagnosis and treatment system. Based on traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） phenomics， we proposed utilizing multi-modal data from literature research， cross-sectional studies， and cohort follow-ups， combined with artificial intelligence technology， to establish a multi-dimensional diagnostic and treatment index system. This approach aims to uncover the complex pathogenesis and transformation patterns of gastric "inflammation-cancer" progression. Additionally， by dynamically collecting TCM four-diagnostic information and modern medical diagnostic information through a long-term follow-up system， we developed three major modules including information extraction， multi-modal phenotypic modeling， and information output， to make it enable real-world clinical data-driven long-term follow-up and treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis. This system can provide technical support for clinical diagnosis， treatment evaluation， and research， while also offering insights and methods for intelligent TCM diagnosis.

Clinical data of a patient with alveolar soft part sarcoma (ASPS) treated at Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University were retrospectively analyzed. The patient was initially diagnosed with abdominal ASPS with multiple lung metastases. After 6 weeks of treatment with nivolumab and ipilimumab, the patient achieved stable disease (SD). In the 7th week, the treatment was changed to a combination of nivolumab (30 mg, d1, q3w), anlotinib (8 mg, d1-14, q3w) and ipilimumab (50 mg, d1, q6w). The patient remained SD at the 12th week. The patient then underwent iliac artery embolization and intensity-modulated radiation therapy for the lesion in the psoas major muscle, while continuing the combination treatment. By the 24th week, the evaluation showed partial remission (PR) of both primary tumor and lung metastases. The patient experienced mild adverse reactions during treatment.

Objective: To explore the effect of YTH domain family protein 1(YTHDF1) on the activation, proliferation and migration of hepatic stellate cells(HSCs) by regulating mitochondrial fission mediated by mitochondrial fission protein 1(Fis1). Methods: The mouse hepatic stellate cell line JS-1 was treated with 5 ng/ml TGF-β1 for 24 h to induce its activation and proliferation, andYTHDF1-siRNA was used to construct aYTHDF1silencing model.The experiment was divided into Control group, TGF-β1 group, TGF-β1+si-NC group and TGF-β1+si-YTHDF1 group.Expression changes ofYTHDF1,Fis1and key indicators of fibrosis, type Ⅰ collagen(CollagenⅠ) and α-smooth muscle actin(α-SMA) were detected through reverse transcription quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR) and Western blot; CCK-8 was used to detect cell proliferation ability; Transwell migration assay and cell scratch assay were used to detect cell migration ability; immunofluorescence staining experiment was used to detect the effect ofYTHDF1onFis1-mediated mitochondrial fission; finally, JC-1 staining was used to experimentally detect the effect ofYTHDF1on mitochondrial membrane potential. Results: Compared with the Control group, RT-qPCR and Western blot experimental results showed that the expression ofYTHDF1andFis1increased in the TGF-β1 group(P<0.05,P<0.01;P<0.000 1), as well as the fibrosis markersCollagenⅠand the expression level of α-SMA increased(P<0.01;P<0.001,P<0.000 1); while adding CCK-8, the experimental results showed that the proliferation ability of HSCs in the TGF-β1 group was enhanced(P<0.000 1); Transwell experimental results showed that the migration ability of HSCs in the TGF-β1 group was enhanced(P<0.01); the cell scratch experiment results showed that the migration ability of HSCs in the TGF-β1 group was enhanced(P<0.000 1); the immunofluorescence experiment results showed that the TGF-β1 group Mito-Tracker Red staining andFis1co-localization signal increased(P<0.05); JC-1 staining experiment results showed that the mitochondrial membrane potential increased in the TGF-β1 group(P<0.01). Compared with the TGF-β1+si-NC group, RT-qPCR and Western blot experimental results showed that the expression ofYTHDF1andFis1in the TGF-β1+si-YTHDF1 group was reduced(P<0.01;P<0.001), and fibrosis markers the levels ofCollagenⅠandα-SMAwere reduced(P<0.01;P<0.001,P<0.01).CCK-8 experimental results showed that the proliferation ability of HSCs in the TGF-β1+si-YTHDF1 group was weakened(P<0.000 1); Transwell experiment results showed that the migration ability of HSCs in the TGF-β1+si-YTHDF1 group was weakened(P<0.001); cell scratch experiment results showed that the migration ability of HSCs in the TGF-β1+si-YTHDF1 group was weakened(P<0.000 1); immunofluorescence experiment results showed that the Mito-Tracker Red staining andFis1co-localization signal decreased in the TGF-β1+si-YTHDF1 group(P<0.01); JC-1 staining experiment results showed that mitochondrial membrane potential decreased in the TGF-β1+si-YTHDF1 group(P<0.05). Conclusion YTHDF1promotes the activation, proliferation and migration capabilities of HSCs by positively regulatingFis1-mediated mitochondrial fission. This suggests thatYTHDF1may be a key gene involved in regulating the activation, proliferation and migration of HSCs.

Lipid turbidity disease is a metabolic disease featuring lipid metabolism disorders caused by many factors such as social environment， diet， and lifestyle， which is closely related to many diseases in modern medicine， such as hyperlipidemia， obesity， fatty liver， atherosclerosis， metabolic syndrome， and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases， with a wide range of influence and far-reaching harm. According to the Huangdi Neijing， lipid turbidity disease reflects the pathological change of the body's physiologic grease. Grease is the thick part of body fluids， which has the function of nourishing， and it is the initial state and source of important substances in the human body such as brain， marrow， essence， and blood. Once the grease of the human body is abnormal， it can lead to lipid turbidity disease. The Huangdi Neijing also points out the physiological relationship between the transportation and transformation of body fluids and the rise and fall of the spleen and stomach， which can deduce the pathological relationship between the occurrence of lipid turbidity disease and the abnormal rise and fall of the spleen and stomach functions. Lipid turbidity disease is caused by overconsumption of fatty and sweet foods or insufficient spleen and stomach endowments， leading to disorders of the function of promoting clear and reducing turbidity in the spleen and stomach. This leads to the transformation of thick grease in body fluids into lipid turbidity， which accumulates in the body's meridians， blood vessels， skin pores， and organs， forming various forms of metabolic diseases. The research team believed that the pathological basis of lipid turbidity disease was the abnormal rise and fall of the spleen and stomach and the obstruction of the transfer of grease. According to the different locations where lipid turbidity stays， it was divided into four common pathogenesis types： ''inability to distinguish between the clear and turbid， turbid stagnation in the Ying blood''， ''spleen not rising clear， turbid accumulation in the vessels''， ''spleen dysfunction， lipid retention in the pores''， ''spleen failure to transportation and transformation， and grease accumulation in the liver''. According to the pathogenesis， it could be divided into four common syndromes， namely， turbid stagnation in the Ying blood， turbid accumulation in the vessels， lipid retention in the pores， and grease accumulation in the liver， and the corresponding prescriptions were given for syndrome differentiation and treatment， so as to guide clinical differentiation and treatment of the lipid turbidity disease.

This article aimed to summarize the clinical experience of treating sjögren's syndrome of yin-deficiency and heat-toxin type based on the theory of exuberance of shaoyang ministerial fire accumulating to heat toxin. It is believed that sjögren's syndrome of yin-deficiency and heat-toxin type is attributed to dysfunction of shaoyang gallbladder， disruption in the circulation of sanjiao， stagnation of qi leading to fire， and prolonged accumulation of toxins causing damage. The core disease mechanism involves shaoyang dysfunction， hyperactivity of ministerial fire， and accumulation of heat toxins. In clinical practice， the therapeutic principles focus on regulating shaoyang， stabilizing and subduing ministerial fire， enriching yin and resolving toxins. For shaoyang dysfunction with internal stagnation of heat toxins， treatment should aim to unblock shaoyang， clear fire and expel toxins， using modified Sangchai Decoction （桑柴饮）； for shaoyang transformation into fire with symptoms of wood （the gallbladder） disease， the approach involves soothing and regulating gallbladder， clearing heat and resolving toxins， using modified Chaihu Shaoyao Decoction （柴胡芍药汤）； for disordered ministerial fire with excessive heat toxins， the strategy is to rescue the sovereign fire and stabilize the ministerial fire， employing modified Xinshen Liangjiao Decoction （心肾两交汤）； for unregulated ministerial fire with disordered distribution， treatment focuses on increasing body fluids and nourishing yin， stabilizing the ministerial fire， using modified Buyin Decoction （补阴汤）.
