Objective To systematically analyze the literature characteristics of Journal of Organ Transplantation since its inception. Methods Using the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) academic journal full-text database as the data source, all articles published in the Journal of Organ Transplantation from January 2010 to August 2025 were retrieved. After excluding non-academic papers, a total of 1 568 research papers were included. R language 4.3.0, Bibliometrix package 3.2.1, and Citespace software were used to analyze the number of publications, publishing institutions, authors, keywords and other aspects. Results The number of publications in Journal of Organ Transplantation increased from an average of 82 articles per year in the early years after its inception to 113 articles per year in recent years, a growth of 37.8%. The geographical distribution of publishing institutions covers 32 provinces, cities and autonomous regions nationwide, mainly concentrated in the South China, East China and North China regions, and has now basically covered the central and western regions in recent years. The author collaboration network includes 45 authors distributed across 7 major collaboration clusters, forming a stable multi-level national research system centered on key university-affiliated hospitals. The high-frequency keywords are dominated by "liver transplantation" (425 times) and "kidney transplantation" (396 times). The theme evolution shows a clear three-stage characteristic: initially focusing on clinical technology application, deepening to immune mechanism exploration in the middle stage, and recently (since 2022) focusing on cutting-edge research areas such as xenotransplantation. Conclusions Journal of Organ Transplantation has witnessed the rapid development of China's organ transplantation cause, fully reflecting the research status and trends in China's organ transplantation field, and has provided an important platform for the future development and international cooperation in China's organ transplantation field.

Journal of Environmental and Occupational Medicine 2026;43(8):1032-1038
In the context of global warming, protecting outdoor workers from occupational heat exposure has become an important public health concern. This review summarized the principle, applicability, and limitation of three categories of wet bulb globe temperature (WBGT) prediction models: empirical regression models, heat-balance models, and machine-learning models. Drawing on international experience from the United States, Europe, and Japan, this review further examined the technical challenges of applying WBGT-based prediction models to large-scale occupational heat stress early warning systems. In response to gaps in occupational heat stress management in China, WBGT should be considered a core assessment indicator to support a transition from passive response to proactive intervention. A localized implementation pathway is proposed, incorporating mechanism-based model calibration, regional parameter adaptation, and multi-source data fusion. Strengthening collaboration between public health and meteorological departments and developing platform-based flexible intervention strategies for workers in new forms of employment may improve the targeting of occupational heat stress early warning and health protection. Future research should focus on physics-constrained machine learning, refined microenvironmental prediction, and individualized risk assessment to support the development of a digitally enabled occupational heat-health protection framework.

OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the effectiveness of posterior minimally invasive approach in the treatment of posterior wall acetabular fractures.
METHODS:
The clinical data of 17 patients with posterior wall acetabular fractures treated with posterior minimally invasive approach between March 2019 and June 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. There were 14 males and 3 females with an average age of 41 years ranging from 28 to 57 years. The causes of injury were traffic accident in 12 cases and falling from height in 5 cases. There were 3 cases complicated with posterior hip dislocation and 2 cases complicated with sciatic nerve injury. According to AO/Orthopaedic Trauma Association (AO/OTA) classification, there were 11 cases of type A1.1 and 6 cases of type A1.2. The time from injury to operation was 5-8 days, with an average of 6.2 days. The incision length, intraoperative blood loss, and operation time were recorded. The quality of posterior wall fracture reduction were evaluated by Matta criteria, and hip function were evaluated by modified Merle d'Aubign-Postel score criteria at 6 months after operation and last follow-up.
RESULTS:
The operation was successfully completed in 17 cases. The length of incision ranged from 7 to 9 cm, with an average of 8.3 cm, and all incisions healed by first intention. The intraoperative blood loss ranged from 200 to 350 mL, with an average of 281 mL. The operation time ranged from 45 to 70 minutes, with an average of 57 minutes. Two patients had sciatic nerve injury before operation, and the sciatic nerve function recovered completely at 3 months after operation; the other 15 patients had no symptoms of sciatic nerve injury after operation. All the 17 patients were followed up 14-27 months, with an average of 19.5 months. At 1 week after operation, according to the Matta criteria, anatomical reduction was achieved in 12 cases and satisfactory reduction in 5 cases, with a satisfaction rate of 100%. According to the modified Merle d'Aubign-Postel scoring system, the hip function score was 13-18 (mean, 16.1) at 6 months after operation. Among them, 5 cases were excellent, 9 were good, and 3 were fair, with an excellent and good rate of 82.4%. At last follow-up, the hip function score was 7-18 (mean, 13.7), of which 3 cases were excellent, 9 were good, 3 were fair, and 2 were poor, with an excellent and good rate of 70.6%. During the follow-up, there was no infection, failure of internal fixation, and femoral head necrosis, and heterotopic ossification occurred in 2 cases.
CONCLUSION
The posterior minimally invasive approach has the advantages of less trauma, shorter operation time, less blood loss, without cutting off the external rotator muscle. Exposure through the gluteus medius-piriformis space and piriformis-supercilium space can provide sufficient safe exposure for the posterior wall acetabulum fracture, which is a reliable alternative approach for the posterior acetabular fracture.

OBJECTIVE:
To explore the effectiveness of additional anti-rotation steel plate assisted intramedullary nail technology in treatment of aseptic femoral non-union patients.
METHODS:
A retrospective analysis was conducted on 21 patients with aseptic femoral non-union who admitted between September 2020 and October 2024 and treated with additional anti-rotation steel plate assisted intramedullary nail technology. There were 17 males and 4 females, aged 25-67 years (mean, 44 years). There were 19 cases of femoral anterograde intramedullary nail fixation, 1 case of femoral retrograde intramedullary nail fixation, and 1 case of steel plate fixation with fatigue fracture. There were 9 cases of hypertrophic non-union and 12 cases of atrophic non-union. All patients had varying degrees of fracture end atrophy/sclerosis. Among them, 20 patients who were fixed with intramedullary nails underwent removal of soft tissue and hardened bone at the fracture end, and cortical treatment resulted in the appearance of "chili sign" at the fracture end. Iliac bone grafting and anti-rotation steel plate fixation were performed. One patient with steel plate fixation was removed the steel palte and fixed with a retrograde intramedullary nail, while the hardened bone at the fracture end was removed, iliac bone grafting and anti-rotation steel plate fixation were performed. Postoperative follow-up observation included the incision healing, maximum knee flexion range of motion, bone healing, length of lower limbs, and subjective satisfaction. The lower extremity functional scale (LEFS) score was used to evaluate the lower limb function.
RESULTS:
All incisions healed by first intention. All patients were followed up 7-26 months (mean, 15.5 months). At last follow-up, the femoral fracture healed with the obvious callus formation at the fracture end; the maximum knee flexion range of motion was 95°-127° (mean, 112.67°). The LEFS score increased from 29.9±6.7 before operation to 75.9±3.0 at last follow-up, and the difference was significant (t=-29.622, P<0.001). Except for 1 patient who underwent intramedullary nail dynamic treatment before operation and had a lower limb shortening of about 0.9 cm, the other patients had bilateral lower limbs of equal length. All patients had no postoperative infections, mal-union of fractures, deep vein thrombosis, joint stiffness, or other complications.
CONCLUSION
The use of additional anti-rotation steel plate assisted intramedullary nail technology in the treatment of aseptic femoral non-union not only overcomes the drawbacks of insufficient stability at the fracture end of intramedullary nails, but also overcomes the shortcomings of biased fixation with steel plates. It has the advantages of minimal trauma, effective maintenance of fracture stability, and ideal postoperative functional recovery, making it an effective treatment for aseptic femoral non-union.

The liver regenerative capacity is crucial for patients with end-stage liver disease following partial hepatectomy (PHx). The specific bacteria and mechanisms regulating liver regeneration post-PHx remain unclear. This study demonstrated dynamic changes in the abundance of Parabacteroides distasonis (P. distasonis) post-PHx, correlating with hepatocyte proliferation. Treatment with live P. distasonis significantly promoted hepatocyte proliferation and liver regeneration after PHx. Targeted metabolomics revealed a significant positive correlation between P. distasonis and β-hydroxybutyric acid (BHB), as well as hyodeoxycholic acid and 3-hydroxyphenylacetic acid in the gut after PHx. Notably, treatment with BHB, but not hyodeoxycholic acid or 3-hydroxyphenylacetic acid, significantly promoted hepatocyte proliferation and liver regeneration in mice after PHx. Moreover, STAT3 inhibitor Stattic attenuated the promotive effects of BHB on cell proliferation and liver regeneration both in vitro and in vivo. Mechanistically, P. distasonis upregulated the expression of fatty acid oxidation-related proteins, and increased BHB levels in the liver, and then BHB activated the STAT3 signaling pathway to promote liver regeneration. This study, for the first time, identifies the involvement of P. distasonis and its associated metabolite BHB in promoting liver regeneration after PHx, providing new insights for considering P. distasonis and BHB as potential strategies for promoting hepatic regeneration.

Although a single nucleotide polymorphism for N-acetyltransferase 10 (NAT10) has been identified in patients with early-onset stroke, the role of NAT10 in ischemic injury and the related underlying mechanisms remains elusive. Here, we provide evidence that NAT10, the only known RNA N4-acetylcytidine (ac4C) modification "writer", is increased in the damaged cortex of patients with acute ischemic stroke and the peri-infarct cortex of mice subjected to photothrombotic (PT) stroke. Pharmacological inhibition of NAT10 with remodelin on Days 3-7 post-stroke or astrocytic depletion of NAT10 via targeted virus attenuates ischemia-induced infarction and improves functional recovery in PT mice. Mechanistically, NAT10 enhances ac4C acetylation of the inflammatory cytokine tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase 1 (Timp1) mRNA transcript, which increases TIMP1 expression and results in the accumulation of microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3 (LC3) and progression of astrocyte autophagy. These findings demonstrate that NAT10 regulates astrocyte autophagy by targeting Timp1 ac4C after stroke. This study highlights the critical role of ac4C in the regulation of astrocyte autophagy and proposes a promising strategy to improve post-stroke outcomes via NAT10 inhibition.

Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology 2025;52(18):926-931
Sentinel lymph node biopsy(SLNB)has become the standard technique for axillary staging in breast cancer, promoting a more in-dividualized approach to axillary surgery. This review discusses several current emerging issues in SLNB for patients with breast cancer:inpa-tients with 1-2 positive sentinel lymph nodes(SLNs),studies such as SENOMAC have reinforced the safety of omitting axillary lymph node dissection(ALND),although careful consideration remains necessary for patients with abnormal axillary imaging findings and in the context of post-operative regional nodal radiotherapy strategies.Omission of SLNB may be appropriate in early-stage patients with clinically and ra-diologically negative axilla under strictly defined conditions to further minimize surgical trauma. In parallel, techniques for SLNB after neoad-juvant therapy continue to advance, with tumor safety outcomes becoming increasingly reliable, and the dual de-escalation of both surgery and radiotherapy may be anticipated. In addition, regional lymph nodes serve not only as the initial site of tumor metastasis but also as crit-ical hubs of the adaptive immune response, positioning SLNs a potential window into tumor immune surveillance.

Objective:To observe the effectiveness of combining mirror therapy with pneumatic flexible glove training in treating hand dysfunction after a stroke. Its effect on cerebral cortex activation was documented using near-infrared functional imaging of the brain. Methods:A total of 84 stroke survivors with hand dysfunction were randomly divided into a Mirror Group, a Glove Group and a Combined Group, each of 28. In addition to standard rehabilitation training, the Glove Group received 20 minutes of training with a pneumatic soft glove, 5 days per week for 6 consecutive weeks. The Mirror Group received mirror therapy (MT). The Combined Group was given both simultaneously. Before and after the treatment, everyone′s upper limb functioning was evaluated (using the Fugl-Meyer Upper Limb Assessment (FMA-U)), along with their hand motor skills (using the Arm Action Test (ARAT)) and their ability in daily living activities (using the Barthel Index (BI)). Functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) was employed to measure any changes in oxygenated hemoglobin (HBO) concentration at 730nm and 850nm wavelengths. Results:The FMA-U, ATAT and BI scores in both the proximal and distal regions of all three groups showed significant improvement after the treatments compared to pre-treatment levels. The combined group demonstrated significantly better distal FMA-U and ARAT scores after the treatment (12.25±8.80 and 20.93±15.68 respectively), outperforming both the glove and mirror groups. The infrared spectroscopy revealed that bilateral SM1 activation, affected-side somatosensory association cortex (SAC) and supplementary motor cortex excitability in both the mirror and combined groups were significantly better than among the glove group after the experiment. Conclusions:Combined with pneumatic flexible glove training, mirror therapy can not only significantly improve the hand function of stroke survivors, but also activate the relevant brain regions of both hemispheres through bilateral motor patterns combined with multisensory stimulation, promoting the balance between hemispheres.
