Sangjuyin， as a pungent and cooling agent with precise therapeutic effect， is a classic pungent formula for cooling relief of the epidermis， which is highly respected by medical practitioners. This formula is from the Wenbing Tiaobian written by WU Jutong in the Qing dynasty， on the basis of which subsequent medical practitioners have made additions and subtractions to apply it. The authors used the bibliometric method to systematically organize the medical books from the Qing dynasty and the Republic of China and modern literature to analyze the composition， concoction， decoction， efficacy， and previous and modern application of Sangjuyin. After examination， the drug base of this formula is basically clear. Armeniacae Semen Amarum is the dried mature seeds of Armeniaca vulgaris， family Rosaceae. Forsythiae Fructus is the dried fruit of Forsythia suspensa， family Mulleinaceae. Menthae Haplocalycis Herba is the dried above-ground part of Mentha haplocalyx， family Labiatae. Mori Folium is the dried leaves of Morus alba， family Moraceae. Chrysanthemi Flos is the dried head of Chrysanthemum morifolium， family Asteraceae. Platycodonis Radix is the dried root of Eryngium grandiflorum， family Eryngium. Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma is the dried root and rhizome of Glycyrrhiza uralensis of the Leguminosae family， and Phragmitis Rhizoma is the fresh or dried rhizome of Phragmites communis of the Gramineae family. It is recommended that the eight drugs be used in raw form as medicine. The dosage and method of decoction were converted into a modern single dosage of 7.46 g Armeniacae Semen Amarum， 5.60 g Forsythiae Fructus， 2.98 g Menthae Haplocalycis Herba， 9.33 g Mori Folium， 3.73 g Chrysanthemi Flos， 7.46 g Platycodonis Radix， 2.98 g Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma， and 11.19 g Phragmitis Rhizoma， with 400 mL water added， and the solution was boiled to obtain 200 mL， taken twice a day. Sangjuyin has the efficacy of dispersing wind and clearing heat， promoting lung and relieving cough， and it is used for treating the initial onset of wind-warmth and the evidence of evil spirits in the lungs and collaterals. Modern research has shown that Sangjuyin is often used in the treatment of cough， pneumonia， rhinitis， and other respiratory diseases， and the results of this study provide a reference for the later development of Sangjuyin.

Background Health literacy is closely related to mental health, and improving health literacy has been shown to promote mental well-being. However, whether occupational stress among workers in mining and manufacturing is associated with their occupational health literacy remains inconclusive. Objective To study the levels of occupational health literacy and occupational stress among workers in three industrial sectors (metal ores mining, metal smelting, and manufacture of non-metallic mineral products) in Gansu Province, and to analyze the correlation between them. Methods Between May and December 2024, a stratified cluster random sampling method was employed to survey workers from 73 large, medium, and small and micro sized enterprises across the aforementioned industries in Gansu Province. Participants’ occupational health literacy and occupational stress levels were assessed. The LASSO regression model was applied to identifykey factors influencing occupational stress, and subsequently a multilevel random intercept mixed-effects logistic model was used to study factors influencing occupational stress and to explore the relationship between occupational health literacy and occupational stress. Results A total of 3611 workers across the three industries were surveyed, among whom 1031 (28.55%) experienced occupational stress. Workers with adequate occupational health literacy—whether assessed in terms of overall literacy or specific dimensions—demonstrated a significantly lower prevalence of occupational stress compared to those without adequate literacy (P<0.05). Through the LASSO regression analysis, it was found that the factors closely related to occupational stress were dimension one (occupational health legal knowledge), dimension two (basic knowledge of occupational health protection), and dimension four (healthy working methods and behaviors) of occupational health literacy, gender, average monthly income, and night shifts. The results from the three-level random intercept mixed-effects logistic regression model indicated that dimensions one (OR=0.69, 95%CI: 0.58, 0.82), two (OR=0.71, 95%CI: 0.58, 0.87), and four (OR=0.81, 95%CI: 0.67, 0.98) of occupational health literacy were negatively correlated with the risk of occupational stress. Workers with an average monthly income of 3001–≤5000, 5001–≤7000, and ≥7001 yuan reported occupational stress risks that were 61% (OR=0.61, 95%CI: 0.45, 0.81), 56% (OR=0.56, 95%CI: 0.41, 0.78), and 36% (OR=0.36, 95%CI: 0.24, 0.53) of those with an average monthly income ≤3000 yuan, respectively. Male workers (OR=1.66, 95%CI: 1.32, 2.10) and those on night shifts (OR=2.29, 95%CI: 1.90, 2.76) had a higher risk of occupational stress. The random effects variance showed that the intraclass correlation coefficient was 0.12. Conclusion There is a negative correlation between occupational stress and occupational health literacy among workers in mining and manufacturing. Being male, having a low income, and working night shifts are risk factors affecting workers' occupational stress. It is recommended to focus on these groups of workers and incorporate occupational health literacy into workplace mental health promotion.

It is believed that idiopathic tinnitus is mostly caused by weak lungs and spleen， kidney essence deficiency， liver constraint transforming into fire， and binding constraint of heart qi. Treatment advocates the combination of acupuncture and Chinese meteria medica in clinical practice. Acupuncture treatment mainly focus on the method of opening the orifices by syndrome identification in combination with Ermen （TE 21）， Tinggong （SI 19）， Tinghui （GB 2）， Shenmai （BL 62） to regulate qi and blood， and supporting with Baihui （GV 20）， Yintang （EX-HN 3）， Taichong （LR 3）， and Yanglingquan （GB 34） to soothe the liver， resolve constraint， and calm the mind. Oral administration of Chinese medicinal prescription usually includes modified Yiqi Congming Decoction （益气聪明汤） and Tongqi Powder （通气散）， and the external administration of Chinese medicinal prescription can apply self-prescribed Wenqing Powder （温清散） to navel moxibustion.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the impact of autophagy on cardiac tissue injury following common bile duct ligation (CBDL) in rats. METHODS: Twenty-four SPF grade healthy adult male Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were randomly divided into four groups, with 6 rats in each group. The sham-operated (Sham) group underwent only dissection of the common bile duct without ligation. The CBDL group underwent CBDL to simulate jaundice-induced myocardial injury. The autophagy inhibitor 3-methyladenine (3-MA)+CBDL group was intraperitoneally injected with 15 mg/kg 3-MA 2 hours before modeling, and then injected once every other day. The CBDL+autophagy enhancer rapamycin (Rapa) group was intraperitoneally injected with Rapa 1 mg/kg 0.5 hour after modeling, and then injected once every other day. The rats in each group were sacrificed 2 weeks after surgery, and blood was taken from the inferior vena cava. Serum total bilirubin (TBil), alanine transaminase (ALT), aspartate transaminase (AST), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), and MB isoenzyme of creatine kinase (CK-MB) were detected by using a fully automated animal biochemical analyzer. Serum oxidative stress marker superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity and malondialdehyde (MDA) content were detected by colorimetric assay. The heart tissues of rats were taken and pathological changes were observed under a light microscope after hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining. Transmission electron microscope was used to observe autophagosomes after double staining with uranyl acetate and lead citrate. The expressions of autophagy-related proteins were detected using Western blotting. RESULTS: Compared with the Sham group, the serum SOD activity of rats in the CBDL group was significantly decreased, while the serum MDA, TBil, ALT, AST, LDH, and CK-MB were significantly increased; the expressions of autophagy-related proteins Beclin-1 and microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3-II/I (LC3-II/I) were significantly increased, and p62 protein expression was significantly decreased. Autophagosomes were seen under electron microscopy in the CBDL group, and cardiac histopathological morphology showed focal necrosis in the myocardium as well as infiltration of inflammatory cells, dilatation of small interstitial blood vessels, and myocardial fiber degeneration. Compared with the CBDL group, cardiac tissue injury in rats was attenuated by pretreatment with the autophagy inhibitor 3-MA, with a decrease in inflammatory cell infiltration in myocardial tissue, a reduction in interstitial vasodilatation, and a decrease in the area of myocardial fibrosis; a decrease in the number of autophagosomes by electron microscopy; and a further rise in the viability of serum TBil, ALT, and AST [TBil (μmol/L): 184.40±6.74 vs. 120.70±16.93, ALT (U/L): 501.10±62.18 vs. 178.80±22.30, AST (U/L): 806.50±76.92 vs. 275.50±55.81, all P < 0.01], as well as a decrease in the levels of serum SOD, MDA, LDH, and CK-MB [SOD (kU/L): 85.00±5.29 vs. 107.50±7.86, MDA (μmol/L): 10.72±0.93 vs. 15.06±1.88, LDH (U/L): 387.40±119.50 vs. 831.30±84.35, CK-MB (U/L): 320.10±14.04 vs. 814.70±75.66, all P < 0.05]. The expressions of the autophagy-related proteins Beclin-1 and LC3-II/I in cardiac tissues were significantly decreased [Beclin-1 protein (Beclin-1/GAPDH): 0.67±0.04 vs. 0.89±0.01, LC3-II/I ratio: 0.93±0.03 vs. 1.09±0.01, both P < 0.01], and p62 protein expression was significantly increased (p62/GAPDH: 0.99±0.01 vs. 0.60±0.01, P < 0.01). In contrast, compared with the CBDL group, after administration of the autophagy enhancer Rapa, the rats showed increased cardiac tissue injury, increased inflammatory cell infiltration in myocardial tissues, increased interstitial vasodilatation, and increased area of myocardial fibrosis; an increase in autophagosomes was seen by electron microscopy; the change tendency of serum biochemical indicators and proteins in myocardial tissues were opposite with autophagy inhibition group with a decrease in serum TBil, ALT, and AST [TBil (μmol/L): 22.00±3.21 vs. 120.70±16.93, ALT (U/L): 72.13±5.97 vs. 178.80±22.30, AST (U/L): 135.20±12.95 vs. 275.50±55.81, all P < 0.05], as well as a increase in the levels of serum SOD, MDA, LDH, and CK-MB [SOD (kU/L): 208.00±2.65 vs. 107.50±7.86, MDA (μmol/L): 20.38±0.40 vs. 15.06±1.88, LDH (U/L): 1 268.00±210.90 vs. 831.30±84.35, CK-MB (U/L): 1 150.00±158.70 vs. 814.70±75.66, all P < 0.05]. The protein expressions of Beclin-1 and LC3-II/I in cardiac tissues were significantly increased [Beclin-1 protein (Beclin-1/GAPDH): 0.96±0.01 vs. 0.89±0.01, LC3-II/I ratio: 1.19±0.01 vs. 1.09±0.01, both P < 0.05], and p62 protein expression was significantly decreased (p62/GAPDH: 0.19±0.02 vs. 0.60±0.01, P < 0.01). CONCLUSIONS Activation of autophagy in CBDL rats led to myocardial tissue injury and reduced cardiac function. Inhibition of autophagy improved cardiac tissue injury in CBDL rats, while increasing autophagy exacerbated myocardial tissue injury.

BACKGROUND:Obesity negatively affects dynamic balance during walking,and crossing barriers is a more routine functional activity that requires more stability in controlling body posture. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the differences in dynamic stability between obese and average males,and to assess the balance ability of obese males using a relatively more challenging obstacle crossing. METHODS:A total of 24 male youths(12 each in the obese and normal groups)were recruited to complete the tests of walking on level ground and crossing obstacles of different heights(4 cm,11 cm,15 cm)in random order.Kinematic and dynamic data were collected using the Qualisys motion capture system and Kistler force stage.Statistical analysis was performed using two-factor(2 groups * 4 movement types)repeated measures analysis of variance. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The obese group had a lower step speed than the normal group(P<0.05),the proportion of the first single support period decreased and the proportion of the second double support period increased when crossing the 11 cm versus 15 cm hurdles(P<0.05).When walking on level ground,the margin of stability in the internal and external directions in the normal group was greater than that of the obese group(P<0.05).When crossing the 4 cm hurdles,the margin of stability in the obese group was less than that in the normal group(P<0.05).When crossing the 11 cm hurdles,there was no significant difference between the two groups in the anterior-posterior direction(P>0.05),while there was a significant difference in the internal-external direction(P<0.05).When crossing the 15 cm hurdles,the margin of stability in the obese group was lower than that in the normal group(P<0.05).Overall,obesity decreases the body's ability to control the body,reduces dynamic stability during crossing the barrier,and increases the risk of falls compared with the general population.In addition,compared with level ground walking,the decrease in the dynamic stability when crossing barriers is more significant in the obese group than the general population.

Linxian County in Henan Province, Northern China is known as the region with the highest incidence and mortality rate of esophageal cancer worldwide. Since 1959, the Henan medical team has conducted field work on esophageal cancer prevention and treatment in Linxian. Through three generations of effort exerted by oncologists over 65 years of research on esophageal cancer prevention and treatment in Linxian, the incidence rate of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma in this area has dropped by nearly 50%, and the 5-year survival rate has increased to 40%, reaching the international leading level. This article aims to summarize the history, present opportunities and new challenges, and explore the experience of esophageal cancer prevention and treatment in Linxian (referred to as the “Linxian experience”), providing reference and guidance to cancer prevention and treatment research in China.

ObjectiveTo explore the role and mechanism of Hei Xiaoyaosan in regulating the protein kinase B （Akt）/glycogen synthase kinase-3β （GSK-3β）/nuclear factor E₂-related factor 2 （Nrf2）/heme oxygenase-1 （HO-1） signaling pathway in cascade modulation of oxidative stress and apoptosis for preventing and treating Alzheimer's disease （AD）. MethodsNinety male SD rats of 4 months old were randomly assigned into a control group （n=10）， a sham group （with injection of 1 μL normal saline into bilateral hippocampi， n=10）， and a modeling group （with injection of 1 μL beta-amyloid 1-42 solution into bilateral hippocampi to induce AD， n=70）. One week after modeling， 50 successfully modeled rats were selected and randomly allocated into model， donepezil hydrochloride （0.45 mg·kg^-1）， and high-， medium-， and low-dose （15.30， 7.65， 3.82 g·kg^-1， respectively） Hei Xiaoyaosan groups. The rats were administrated with corresponding drugs once daily for six consecutive weeks. The Morris water maze was used to assess the learning and memory abilities of rats. Hematoxylin-eosin （HE） staining was performed to reveal hippocampal morphological changes in AD rats. Apoptosis in the hippocampal CA3 region was detected by terminal-deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated Nick end labeling. Immunofluorescence was used to visualize the expression of neuronal nuclear antigen （NeuN） in the CA1 region. Additionally， enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was performed to assess the activities of glutathione peroxidase （GSH-Px）， glutathione-S-transferase （GST）， and catalase （CAT） in the hippocampus. Real-time PCR was conducted to measure the mRNA levels of Akt， GSK-3β， Nrf2， and HO-1， while Western blot was employed to determine the protein levels of phosphorylated Akt （p-Akt）/Akt， phosphorylated GSK-3β （p-GSK-3β）/GSK-3β， Nrf2， and HO-1. ResultsCompared with the control group， the model group on day 5 showed an increase in total swimming distance （P<0.01）， a reduction in the percentage of time spent in the target quadrant （P<0.01）， reduced and disarranged neurons， nuclear condensation， varying degrees of cellular damage， increased apoptosis of hippocampal neurons （P<0.01）， decreased NeuN content （P<0.01）， weakend activities of GSH-Px， GST， and CAT （P<0.01）， and down-regulated mRNA levels of Nrf2 and HO-1 （P<0.01） and protein levels of p-Akt/Akt， p-GSK-3β/GSK-3β， Nrf2， and HO-1 （P<0.01） in the hippocampus. Compared with the model group， donepezil hydrochloride and high， medium， and low doses of Hei Xiaoyaosan shortened the total swimming distance on day 5 （P<0.05， P<0.01）， increased the percentage of time spent in the target quadrant （P<0.05， P<0.01）， improved the arrangement and morphology of neurons， reduced nuclear condensation and the apoptosis rate of hippocampal neurons （P<0.01）， increased the NeuN content （P<0.01）， enhanced the activities of GSH-Px， GST， and CAT （P<0.05， P<0.01）， and up-regulated the mRNA levels of Nrf2 and HO-1 （P<0.05， P<0.01） and the protein levels of p-Akt/Akt， p-GSK-3β/GSK-3β， Nrf2， and HO-1 （P<0.05， P<0.01） in the hippocampus. ConclusionHei Xiaoyaosan can regulate the Akt/GSK-3β/Nrf2/HO-1 pathway to enhance the antioxidant stress capacity and inhibit neuron apoptosis to exert the neuroprotective effect， thereby ameliorating the cognitive dysfunction and pathological damage in AD rats.

ObjectiveTo explore the mechanism of Hei Xiaoyaosan in improving the cognitive function in Alzheimer's disease （AD） from cell apoptosis mediated by the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase （PI3K）/protein kinase B （Akt）/nuclear factor kappa B （NF-κB） signaling pathway. MethodsFour-month-old SD male rats were randomly assigned into a blank group， a sham group， a model group， a donepezil hydrochloride （0.45 mg·kg^-1） group， and high-， medium-， and low-dose （15.30， 7.65， and 3.82 g·kg^-1， respectively） Hei Xiaoyaosan groups， with 10 rats in each group. The sham group received bilateral hippocampal injection of 1 μL normal saline， while the other groups received bilateral hippocampal injection of 1 μL beta-amyloid 1-42 （Aβ_1-42） solution for the modeling of AD. Rats were administrated with corresponding agents once a day for 42 consecutive days. The Morris water maze test was carried out to assess the learning and memory abilities of rats. Hematoxylin-eosin staining was employed to observe pathological changes in the hippocampus of rats. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was employed to measure the levels of cysteinyl aspartate-specific proteinase-3 （Caspase-3）， B-cell lymphoma-2 （Bcl-2）， and Bcl-2-associated X protein （Bax）. Western blot was employed to determine the protein levels of PI3K， Akt， and NF-κB. A cell model of AD was established by co-culturing Aβ_1-42 and PC12 cells in vitro. Cell viability and apoptosis were detected by the cell-counting kit 8 （CCK-8） assay and flow cytometry （FC）， respectively. ResultsAnimal experiments showed that compared with the blank group， the model group had a prolonged escape latency （P<0.01）， a reduced number of crossing platforms （P<0.01）， disarrangement and a reduced number of hippocampal neurons， up-regulated expression of Bax and Caspase-3， down-regulated expression of Bcl-2 （P<0.01）， decreased p-PI3K/PI3K and p-Akt/Akt levels， and an increased p-NF-κB/NF-κB level （P<0.01）. Compared with the model group， donepezil hydrochloride and high- and medium-dose Hei Xiaoyaosan shortened the escape latency and increased the number of crossing platforms （P<0.05， P<0.01）， improved the arrangement and increased the number of hippocampal neurons， down-regulated the expression levels of Bax and Caspase-3， up-reguated the expression level of Bcl-2 （P<0.05， P<0.01）， increased the p-PI3K/PI3K and p-Akt/Akt levels （P<0.05， P<0.01）， and reduced the p-NF-κB/NF-κB level （P<0.05， P<0.01）. Cell experiments showed that compared with the blank group， the model group exhibited an increased apoptosis rate （P<0.01）. Compared with the model group， the serum containing Hei Xiaoyaosan at various doses improved the cell viability （P<0.01）， and the serum containing Hei Xiaoyaosan at the high dose decreased the cell apoptosis （P<0.01）. ConclusionHei Xiaoyaosan may improve the learning and memory abilities of AD model rats by regulating cell apoptosis， while increasing the vitality and reducing the apoptosis rate of AD model cells via the PI3K/Akt/NF-κB signaling pathway.

ObjectiveTo investigate the effects of Hei Xiaoyaosan on cognitive impairment and the histone deacetylase sirtuin-1 （SIRT1）/tumor suppressor p53/solute carrier family 7 member 11 （SLC7A11） signaling pathway in the rat model of Alzheimer's disease （AD）. MethodsA total of 90 16-week-old SPF-grade SD male rats were randomly assigned in a blank group （n=10）， a sham group （n=10， with injection of 1 μL normal saline into the bilateral hippocampi）， and an AD modeling group （n=70， with injection of 1 μL β amyloid 1-42 solution into the bilateral hippocampi）. According to the random number table method， fifty successfully modeled rats were assigned into model， donepezil hydrochloride （0.45 mg·kg^-1）， and high-， medium-， and low-dose （15.30， 7.65， and 3.82 g·kg^-1， respectively） Hei Xiaoyaosan groups， and they were administrated with corresponding agents via gavage once a day for 42 consecutive days. Morris water maze test was carried out to examine the cognitive function of rats. Nissl staining was employed to observe the morphology of hippocampal neurons in each group， and Prussian blue staining was used to detect iron deposition in the hippocampal tissue. Biochemical kits were used to measure the levels of superoxide dismutase （SOD）， malondialdehyde （MDA）， and iron ion （Fe²⁺） in the hippocampal tissue. Western blot and real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction （Real-time PCR） were employed to determine the protein and mRNA levels， respectively， of SIRT1， p53， SLC7A11， glutathione peroxidase 4 （GPX4）， and acyl-CoA synthetase long-chain family member 4 （ACSL4） in the hippocampus. ResultsCompared with the blank group， the model group showed reductions in target quadrant movement distance （P<0.01） and target quadrant residence time （P<0.05）， disarrangement of hippocampal neurons， increased ferroptosis deposition in the hippocampus， a lowered level of SOD， risen levels of MDA and Fe²⁺ （P<0.05， P<0.01）， down-regulated protein and mRNA levels of SIRT1， SLC7A11， and GPX4 （P<0.05， P<0.01）， up-regulated protein and mRNA levels of p53 and ACSL4 （P<0.01）， and aggravated pathological process of AD. Compared with the model group， donepezil hydrochloride extended the target quadrant residence time and the target quadrant movement distance （P<0.05， P<0.01）. High- and medium- doses of Hei Xiaoyaosan extended the target quadrant residence time and the target quadrant movement distance （P<0.05， P<0.01）， improved the neuron arrangement and reduced the ferroptosis deposition in the hippocampus， elevated the SOD level， lowered the MDA and Fe²⁺ levels （P<0.05， P<0.01）， up-regulated the protein and mRNA levels of SIRT1， SLC7A11， and GPX4 （P<0.01， P<0.05）， and down-regulated the protein and mRNA levels of p53 and ACSL4 （P<0.05， P<0.01）. ConclusionHei Xiaoyaosan can regulate the SIRT1/p53/SLC7A11 signaling pathway to mitigate oxidative stress and inhibit ferroptosis， thereby ameliorating the cognitive dysfunction in AD rats.

Shengjiangsan is a classic formula for treating warm diseases with wide clinical application and accurate efficacy. There are different opinions on the origin of this formula and lacks key information research on this formula. Therefore， in this study， we conducted systematic research into the historic origin， composition， and other key information of this Shengjiangsan. Results showed that Shengjiangsan has different versions， with "Neixian Fufang"， "Jiawei Jianghuangwan"， "Peizhensan"， and "Taijiwan" being the same formula with different names. Shengjiangsan was first recorded as "Neixian Fufang" in Wanbing Huichun written by GONG Tingxian from the Ming dynasty， inherited and developed by YANG Lishan from Qing dynasty， and has been passed down to modern times. Pills and powder are two main forms of Shengjiangsan， and powder has become more popular nowadays. According to the measurement system of Ming and Qing dynasties， the recommended dosage and usage of Shengjiangsan are as follows. For the pill version of Shengjiangsan， Bombyx Batryticatus of 74.6 g， Curcumae Longae Rhizoma of 9.325 g， Cicadae Periostracum of 9.325 g， and Rhei Radix et Rhizoma of 149.2 g were processed into pills for preparation. Single dosage is Bombyx Batryticatus of 1.15 g， Curcumae Longae Rhizoma of 0.14 g， Cicadae Periostracum of 0.14 g， and Rhei Radix et Rhizoma of 2.3 g， with halved dosage applied for children. For the powder version of Shengjiangsan， the dosage varied in accordance with the severity of the disease. Bombyx Batryticatus of 1.84 g， Curcumae Longae Rhizoma of 0.28 g， Cicadae Periostracum of 0.92 g， and Rhei Radix et Rhizoma of 3.68 g were processed into powder for patients with mild symptoms. Bombyx Batryticatus of 2.48 g， Curcumae Longae Rhizoma of 0.37 g， Cicadae Periostracum of 1.23 g， and Rhei Radix et Rhizoma of 4.91 g were processed into powder for patients with severe symptoms. Bombyx Batryticatus of 3.68 g， Curcumae Longae Rhizoma of 1.84 g， Cicadae Periostracum of 0.55 g， and Rhei Radix et Rhizoma of 7.36 g were processed into powder for patients with critical conditions. In this formula， four herbs were ground to fine powder. For patients with mild symptoms， the whole formula was divided into four dosages， and each dosage weighed 6.71 g. The 200 mL yellow rice wine and 18.65 g honey were added， and the solution was stirred and taken cold till full recovery. For patients with severe symptoms， the whole formula was divided into three dosages， and each weighed 8.95 g. 300 mL yellow rice wine and 27.98 g honey were added， and the solution was stirred and taken cold. For patients with critical conditions， the whole formula was divided into two dosages， and each weighed 13.43 g. 400 mL yellow rice wine and 37.3 g honey were added， and the solution was stirred and taken cold. Shengjiangsan has the effect of ascending lucidity and descending turbidity， dissipating wind， and clearing heat. It is specialized in treating severe heat in exterior， interior， and triple energizers in warm diseases and has a wide modern clinical application. In this study， the historic evolution and key information of Shengjiangsan were reviewed and analyzed， and the key information table of Shengjiangsan was attached， serving as a reference for scholars' research and a theoretical basis for its market transformation.
