Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of azithromycin for the treatment of Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia(MPP)with gene mutations at site A2063G of 23S rRNA in children. Methods:Data were retrospectively collected for 242 children diagnosed with MPP at Sichuan Provincial Maternity and Child Health Care Hospital from January to December 2023,in whom MPP was detected using targeted next-generation sequencing(tNGS).According to the presence or absence of mutations, the children were classified into mutation group(88 cases)and non-mutation group(154 cases). Results:Gene mutations at site A2063G of 23S rRNA were detected in 88 patients. The chest X-rays of both groups showed more lesions in the right lung than in the left lung. Both groups were treated with azithromycin and compared for differences in age, sex, duration of fever,C-reactive protein level, time to improvement of chest X-rays,days of medication, and response rate, with no significant differences found in the above indicators(P>0.05).However,the duration of respiratory symptoms was significantly longer in the mutation group than in the non-mutation group[(11.51±3.31)d vs.(10.06±3.63)d,P<0.05].Conclusion:Azithromycin is effective in treating MPP with gene mutations at site A2063G of 23S rRNA.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2023;44(5):733-737
Objective:
To analyze the emotional and behavioral problems and associated factors of the only and non only child, and to provide some clues for further monitoring and intervention of psychological and behavioral development among preschool children.
Methods:
Using a convenience sampling method, a total of 45 065 children enrolled in 153 kindergartens in 23 districts and counties of Chengdu were selected from May to June 2021 to investigate demographic characteristics and children s psycho behavioral development through online questionnaires filled out by their guardians. The Chi square tests were used to analyze whether the differences in abnormality rates of each dimension were statistically significant between the only and non only children. The emotional and behavioral problems of only children and non only children were analyzed by propensity score measurement.
Results:
The detection rate of abnormal emotional behavior problems in children was 6.10%, including 6.34% in the only child group and 5.84 % in the non only child group. After matching, total difficulty score, and scores of emotional symptoms, conduct problems, hyperactive attention deficit, peer interaction, and social behavior differed between the only child group and the non only child group ( t =9.91, 8.97, 3.91, 15.57, -5.46, 4.08, P <0.01).
Conclusion
In terms of the total score of difficulties, emotional symptoms, moral problems, and hyperactivity attention defects, the non only child is better than the only child, but the opposite is true in terms of peer interaction and social behavior. Mental health conditions among the only child should be paid more attention. Whether or not the only child should be taken as an important consideration for preschool children s mental health care.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2015;29(15):1336-1339
OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the influence of allergic rhinitis on negative emotion.
METHOD:
One hundred and ninety cases with allergic rhinitis as observer group were investigated by state-trait anxiety inventory (STAI) and self-rating depressive scale (SDS). According to pathogenetic condition, patients were divided into persistent allergic rhinitis 71 cases (A group) and intermittent allergic rhinitis 119 cases (B group). Meanwhile, 190 healthy persons as control group were compared with observer group.
RESULT:
(1) The main allergens of allergic rhinitis were dermatophagoides pteronyssinus, dermatophagoides farina, pollen, and epiphyte, which the skin index was above "++" by skin prick test. (2) The state anxiety score of observer group (42.17±16.21) was significantly higher than control group (38.78±16.54), t=2.02, P<0.05. There were no difference in trait anxiety between observer group and control group (41.25±16.16 vs. 41.19±16.84), P>0.05. The anxiety scores of female in A and B groups were higher than that of female in control group (43.77±15.76, 42.93±15.58 vs 38.44±15.71), P<0.05. (3) The score of SDS in A and B group was significantly higher than that of control group (37.78±9.22, 39.65±9.87 vs 35.24±7.81), P<0.01. The rate of depression in observer group (11.6%, 22/190) was significantly higher than that of control group (2.6%, 5/190), Χ2=11.52, P<0.01.
CONCLUSION
The allergic rhinitis may cause patients anxiety and depression, especially for female, but patients with allergic rhinitis have no significant trait anxiety.
