Objective:
To explore the association between peer victimization and psychotic like experiences (PLEs) among junior high school students, so as to provide a scientific basis for preventing adolescent PLEs.
Methods:
In January 2024, a method of combining convenient sampling with cluster sampling was used to survey 2 760 students from two ordinary junior high schools in southern Anhui Province (Susong Country,Anqing City). The Community Assessment of Psychic Experiences (CAPE) and the Adolescent Peer Bullying Scale were employed to assess PLEs with different symptoms and peer victimization (verbal, physical, relational, and cyberbullying). Multivariate Logistic regression models analyzed the associations of different types peer victimization and PLEs with different symptoms.
Results:
The prevalence of PLEs was 17.5%, with delusional (15.4%) and hallucinatory (7.4%) symptoms being most common. Peer victimization was reported by 51.3% of students (49.6% victims, 19.5% perpetrators), with verbal victimization being most frequent (42.4% victims, 15.5% perpetrators) and cyberbullying least frequent (6.0% victims, 1.9 % perpetrators). Compared to students without bullying, students exposed to bullying showed significantly higher rates of delusional ( χ 2=29.09-127.22), hallucinatory ( χ 2=27.23-72.29), and overall PLEs ( χ 2=34.32-127.25) (all P <0.01). After adjusting for relevant confounding factors, the multiple Logistic regression model revealed verbal victimization increased risks of delusions ( OR=1.59, 95%CI =1.22-2.09), hallucinations ( OR=1.94, 95%CI =1.33-2.84), and overall PLEs ( OR=1.62, 95%CI = 1.26- 2.09); relational victimization was associated with delusions ( OR=1.83, 95%CI =1.40-2.39) and PLEs ( OR=1.65, 95% CI = 1.28-2.13); physical victimization correlated with hallucinations ( OR=1.64, 95%CI =1.12-2.40) and PLEs ( OR=1.41, 95%CI =1.06-1.87) (all P <0.05).
Conclusion
Specific types of peer victimization are differentially associated with PLEs, with relational victimization demonstrating the strongest association.

Journal of Zhejiang University. Medical sciences 2025;54(5):620-627
OBJECTIVES:
To evaluate the clinical efficacy of human biological dressing (human acellular dermal matrix) transplantation in the management of refractory wounds among middle-aged and elderly patients.
METHODS:
A retrospective observational study was conducted involving 104 middle-aged and elderly patients (74 males, 30 females; aged 56-95 years) with refractory wounds treated at the First Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University from January 2023 to December 2024. Following debridement, wound areas ranged from 1.0 to 48.0 cm². All patients received vacuum sealing drainage for 7 days, followed by human biological dressing transplantation. Subsequently, depending on the wound condition and the patient's preference, autologous skin grafting (ASG) or wound dressing changes were employed to promote wound healing. Outcome measures included: post-human biological dressing coverage of exposed tendons/bones and occurrence of tendon infection/osteomyelitis; survival rate of ASG at postoperative day 7; healing time in patients managed with wound dressing changes alone; patient satisfaction; and changes in pain intensity, sleep disturbance, and anxiety scores assessed before and 1 month after human biological dressing transplantation using the Edmonton Symptom Assessment Scale.
RESULTS:
After human biological dressing transplantation, 103 patients exhibited robust granulation tissue formation achieving complete coverage of the exposed tendons/bones, with no instances of tendon/bone necrosis, infection, or osteomyelitis. Among these, 51 patients underwent successful ASG at (44.4±13.0) d post-human biological dressing transplantation (success rate 100.00%), 52 patients achieved primary wound healing through dressing changes alone within (62.6±13.4) d post-human biological dressing transplantation. One patient experienced human biological dressing dissolution and detachment due to gluteal wound infection, resulting in non-healing. The overall cure rate was 99.04%. Patient satisfaction survey showed that 95 patients were very satisfied, 8 were satisfied, and 1 was dissatisfied (satisfaction rate 99.04%). Pain, sleep disturbance, and anxiety scores at 1 month post-human biological dressing transplantation were significantly reduced compared to pre-transplantation scores (all P<0.05).
CONCLUSIONS
Human biological dressing transplantation demonstrate excellent outcomes in treating refractory wounds in middle-aged and elderly patients and can serve as an effective therapeutic strategy for managing refractory wounds.

The translocator protein (TSPO) positron emission tomography (PET) can noninvasively detect neuroinflammation associated with epileptogenesis and epilepsy. This study explored the role of the TSPO-targeting radioligand [18F]F-TFQC, an m-trifluoromethyl ER176 analog, in the PET neuroimaging of epileptic rats. Initially, [18F]F-TFQC was synthesized with a radiochemical yield of 8%-10% (EOS), a radiochemical purity of over 99%, and a specific activity of 38.21 ± 1.73 MBq/nmol (EOS). After determining that [18F]F-TFQC exhibited good biochemical properties, [18F]F-TFQC PET neuroimaging was performed in epileptic rats at multiple time points in various stages of disease progression. PET imaging showed specific [18F]F-TFQC uptake in the right hippocampus (KA-injected site, i.e., epileptogenic zone), which was most pronounced at 1 week (T/NT 1.63 ± 0.21) and 1 month (T/NT 1.66 ± 0.20). The PET results were further validated using autoradiography and pathological analysis. Thus, [18F]F-TFQC can reflect the TSPO levels and localize the epileptogenic zone, thereby offering the potential for monitoring neuroinflammation and guiding anti-inflammatory treatment in patients with epilepsy.

Objective Mitochondrial reactive oxygen species(mtROS)could cause damage to pancreatic β-cells,rendering them susceptible to oxidative damage.Hence, investigating the potential of the mitochondria-targeted antioxidant(Mito-TEMPO)to protect pancreatic β-cells from ferroptosis by mitigating lipid peroxidation becomes crucial. Methods MIN6 cells were cultured in vitro with 100 μmol/L sodium palmitate(SP)to simulate diabetes.FerroOrange was utilized for the detection of Fe2+fluorescence staining,BODIPY581/591C11 for lipid reactive oxygen species, and MitoSox-Red for mtROS.Alterations in mitophagy levels were assessed through the co-localization of lysosomal and mitochondrial fluorescence.Western blotting was employed to quantify protein levels of Acsl4,GPX4,FSP1,FE,PINK1,Parkin,TOMM20,P62,and LC3.Subsequently,interventions were implemented using Mito-TEMPO and Carbonyl cyanide 3-chlorophenylhydrazone(CCCP)to observe changes in ferroptosis and mitophagy within MIN6 cells. Results We found that SP induced a dose-dependent increase in Fe2+and lipid ROS in MIN6 cells while decreasing the expression levels of GPX4 and FSP1 proteins.Through bioinformatics analysis,it has been uncovered that mitophagy assumes a crucial role within the ferroptosis pathway associated with diabetes.Additionally,SP decreased the expression of mitophagy-related proteins PINK1 and Parkin, leading to mtROS overproduction.Conversely,Mito-TEMPO effectively eliminated mtROS while activating the mitophagy pathways involving PINK1 and Parkin, thereby reducing the occurrence of ferroptosis in MIN6 cells.CCCP also demonstrated efficacy in reducing ferroptosis in MIN6 cells. Conclusion In summary,Mito-TEMPO proved effective in attenuating mtROS production and initiating mitophagy pathways mediated by PINK1 and Parkin in MIN6 cells.Consequently, this decreased iron overload and lipid peroxidation, ultimately safeguarding the cells from ferroptosis.
