1.Effect of medical prevention integration on reducing the non compliance rate of severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome management
Chinese Journal of Experimental and Clinical Virology 2025;39(2):226-230
Objective:To build an innovative management mechanism based on the integration of medical care and prevention, promote the effective integration of medical resources and disease prevention and control resources, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the new mechanism in reducing the non-compliance rate of severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome (SFTS) full process management. Methods:An organizational structure and collaborative process for the nursing quality control circle based on the innovative mechanism of medical prevention integration was designed, and standardized management processes for SFTS prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation were developed. After implementation, the effectiveness of the new management mechanism will be evaluated by comparing the changes in the non-compliance rate of SFTS full process management before and after the pilot, and continuous optimization and effectiveness monitoring will be conducted for a period of 6 months. Results:Before improvement, a survey and evaluation of 280 cases of 7 elements were conducted on 40 patients. The result showed that the total number of instances of unqualified management in the entire process was 85, with a non-compliance rate of 30.40%, including 3 major defect items and 4 minor defect items. According to the fishbone diagram analysis, cause evaluation, and root cause verification result of 40 inspections, there are a total of 7 causes, including 3 root causes. The SFTS management failure rate was verified through a total of 128 root cause verification inspections. After improvement, a survey and evaluation of 280 cases were conducted on 40 patients. The result showed that there were 25 instances of unqualified management throughout the entire process, with a non-compliance rate of 8.9%. The target achievement rate was 108.2%, and the improvement progress rate was 70.6%. Within 6 months after improvement, the non-compliance rate remained at 7.5%-9.0%.Conclusions:The nursing quality control circle based on the innovative mechanism of medical prevention integration can accurately identify the non compliant items in the entire process management of SFTS, and take targeted measures to improve each item, thereby significantly reduce the non compliant rate in the entire process management of SFTS and maintain it at a low level for a long time.
