Somatostatin receptor 1 (SSTR1) is a crucial therapeutic target for various neuroendocrine and oncological disorders. Current SSTR1-targeted treatments, including the first-generation somatostatin analog lanreotide (Lan) and the second-generation analog pasireotide (Pas), show promise but encounter challenges related to selectivity and efficacy. This study presents high-resolution cryo-electron microscopy structures of SSTR1 complexed with Lan or Pas, revealing the distinct mechanisms of ligand-binding and activation. These structures illustrate unique conformational changes in the SSTR1 orthosteric pocket induced by each ligand, which are critical for receptor activation and ligand selectivity. Combined with the biochemical assays and molecular dynamics simulations, our results provide a comparative analysis of binding characteristics within the SSTR family, highlighting subtle differences in SSTR1 activation by Lan and Pas. These insights pave the way for designing next-generation therapies with enhanced efficacy and reduced side effects through improved receptor subtype selectivity.

Objective:To systematically integrate the psychological experience of sex life in perimenopausal and postmenopausal women, so as to provide evidence-based basis for clinical medical staff to provide sexual health guidance and targeted intervention plans.Methods:Qualitative studies on sexual experience of perimenopausal and postmenopausal women were searched by computer from China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang data, VIP, Chinese Medical Journal Network, China Biology Medicine disc, PubMed, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, Embase and other databases. The search period was from the establishment of the databases to May 25, 2023. The quality of the literature was evaluated using the quality evaluation criteria of the Australian Evidence-based Health Care Center, and the results were integrated by the pooled Meta-integration method.Results:A total of 13 literatures were included, and 32 complete results were extracted, which were summarized into nine new categories and synthesized into four integrated results. Integration result one showed significant differences in sexual cognition and needs between perimenopausal and postmenopausal women. Integration result two showed that perimenopausal and postmenopausal women experienced sexual physiological and psychological changes. Integration result three showed that multiple complex factors affected perimenopausal and postmenopausal women sex life. Integration results four was that perimenopausal and postmenopausal women took different ways to cope with sexual changes.Conclusions:Medical staff should pay attention to perimenopausal and postmenopausal women's sexual changes, explore its related influencing factors, help them establish a correct sexual concept and give sexual health support and help.

Objective:To systematically evaluate the psychological experience of unmarried women after artificial abortion by Meta integration method.Methods:A literature search was conducted from PubMed, Web of Science, EMbase, Medline, CNKI, WanFang, VIP, CBM databases with the combination of subject words and free words. The Chinese and English search terms included “unmarried women” “abortion” “pregnancy termination” “perception” “qualitative research”, etc; the researched time was from the establishment of the database to April 26, 2022. The literature was evaluated according to the quality evaluation standard of JBI Evidence-based Health Care Center, and then the results where integrated.Results:A total of 8 articles were included, including two Chinese articles and the six English articles, all of which were classified as B grade, with 28 complete results extracted, and the similar results were integrated into 8 categories, finally 4 synthesis results were synthesized: (1) lack of relevant knowledge; (2) be overburdened; (3) a desire to be supported and cared; (4) seek relevant knowledge, organization help and active response.Conclusion:The general psychological experience of unmarried women after artificial abortion is poor, lack of relevant knowledge, heavy psychological burden, longing for family and social care and seeking different coping strategies are the main manifestations of the feelings.

Objective:To explore patients and nurses' attitude and willingness of "Internet + nursing services", and provide a reference for better "Internet + nursing services".Methods:In July 2019, totally 579 inpatients and 1 176 nurses from The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University were selected by convenient sampling. A self-designed Questionnaire on the Status Quo of Patients and Nurses' Attitude and Willingness "Internet + Nursing Services" was used to explore the current status of these patients and nurses' willingness and costs of "Internet + nursing services". χ 2 test was employed to compare the differences between the two. Results:Among respondents, totally 73.40% (425/579) patients and 71.09% (836/1 176) nurses agreed to carry out "Internet + nursing services". A total of 45.08% (261/579) patients and 50.26% (591/1 176) nurses thought that the most needed on-site service items were catheter replacement and wound dressing change. Both patients and nurses believed that on-site services were most helpful to patients with immobility, accounting for 56.18% (325/579) and 52.98% (623/1 176) , respectively. The willingness of nurses to provide on-site services was lower than that of patients to receive on-site services. The cost of nurses' on-site services was higher than the patients' willingness to pay. Patients' concerns about medical risks were higher than those of nurses, while their personal safety concerns were lower than those of nurses. Nurses hoped that the time spent on on-site services was shorter than the needs of patients, and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:Patients and nurses support the development of "Internet + nursing services". Most patients accept nurses to provide on-site services, while some nurses hold a wait-and-see attitude towards on-site services. Moreover, there is a big gap between the two parties in terms of service costs, risks and duration. Therefore, when carrying out "Internet + nursing services", it is necessary to balance the needs of patients and nurses, formulate practical service plans, and satisfy both nurses and patients to achieve a win-win situation.

Objective To study the prevalence trends and etiology of hand,foot,and mouth disease (HFMD) in hospitalized children.Methods The clinical data of 11 510 cases of children hospitalized with HFMD from 2008 to 2017 in Department of Infection Diseases of Kunming Children's Hospital were collected,and to retrospectively analyze the characteristics,time distribution and pathogen distribution of the cases.Results Of the 11 510 children with HFMD,6 100 were male and 5 410 were female.There were 9 814 cases under 3 years old,1 696 over 3 years old.HFMD occurred throughout the year.The peak months of the disease were April to July,with the time distribution of single peak.There were 4 690 severe cases and 3 452 critical cases,accounting for 70.34％.The main pathogens detected were enteroviruses A71 (EV-A71),coxsackievirus A16 (CV-A16) and other enteroviruses (EV),with 3 803 cases (36.02％),1 122 cases (10.63％) and 3 401 cases (32.21％) respectively.EV-A71 and CV-A16 infections dominated from 2008 to 2013,while EV-A71 and other EV infection dominated from 2014 to 2017.Conclusions EV-A71,CV-A16 and other EV are the main pathogens of HFMD in Kunming.Critical HFMD cases are mainly caused by EV-A71 infection.

Objective To evaluate the outcomes of acute lower extremity deep venous thrombosis (DVT) in bedridden patients by vascular ultrasound monitoring and analyze the influencing factors. Methods Bedridden patients with acute lower extremity DVT diagnosed by vascular ultrasound were recruited from March 2013 to August 2017. All patients accepted the lower extremity deep venous ultrasound after 2 weeks, and the outcomes of DVT were observed. The patients were divided into DVT improvement group and non-improvement group. The relationships between the factors including clinical characteristics, past history, laboratory examinations, medications and outcomes of DVT were analyzed. The statistically significant influencing factors were taken into the multi factor Logistic regression analysis. Results There were 134 bedridden patients with lower extremity DVT, including 85 males and 49 females, with an average age of (63.9 ± 18.1) years. DVT was improved in 32.8% (44/134) patients, and was not improved in 67.2% (90/134) patients. Anticoagulation therapy, increased international normalized ratio, and delayed thrombin time were associated with improved DVT. Non traumatic causes of bed rest and dehydration were associated with not improved DVT. Anticoagulation therapy ( P＝0.021, OR＝2.729, 95% CI 1.162-6.410) and dehydration treatment ( P＝0.032, OR＝0.240, 95% CI 0.065-0.882) were independent risk factors for improvement of lower extremity DVT. Conclusions Anticoagulation therapy may improve DVT of the lower extremities, and dehydration may aggravate the DVT of the lower extremities. Vascular ultrasound can conveniently and dynamically monitor the changes of the lower limbs DVT in bedridden patients.
