Objective To observe the clinical and CT findings of hepatic perivascular epithelioid cell tumor(PEComa)compared with liver cancer and liver adenoma. Methods Thirty patients with hepatic PEComa,31 patients with liver cancer and 31 patients with liver adenoma were retrospectively enrolled.Compared with liver cancer and liver adenoma, the clinical and CT findings of hepatic PEComa were observed. Results Significant differences of patients' gender, age and symptoms, also of the proportion of hepatitis, cirrhosis and positive alpha fetoprotein(AFP)were found between hepatic PEComa group and liver cancer group(all P<0.05),while of patients' gender and age were found between hepatic PEComa group and liver adenoma group(both P<0.05).Significant differences of the proportion of fat and malformed blood vessels, enhancement mode,as well as contrast enhancement ratio CER of arterial and venous phases were noticed between hepatic PEComa group and liver cancer group(all P<0.05),while of the proportion of fat, capsule and malformed blood vessels,as well as enhancement mode and CER of arterial and venous phases were noticed between hepatic PEComa group and liver adenoma group(all P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with liver cancer and liver adenoma, hepatic PEComa was mostly benign and more common in women, with somewhat characteristic CT findings being helpful to differential diagnosis.

In recent years, the high prevalence of myopia has become a global public health concern.Understanding the mechanism will help to achieve precise prevention and treatment of myopia.Animal models are important tools for studying the pathogenesis and prevention strategies.Mice are commonly used in myopia research, because they are easy to breed, feed and genetically manipulate. However, their small eye size makes it difficult to accurately measure the changes in biological parameters such as refraction and axial length. In addition, the refractive developmental pattern of mice is opposite to that of humans. This article reviews the structural features of the mouse cornea, lens, vitreous body, retina and sclera, the pattern of refractive development, and the latest progress about the establishment and evaluation of murine myopia models to provide some hints and references for further research.

Purpose To detect the expression of PP1A and GSDME and the abundance of CD8+T lymphocytes in colorectal cancer, and to explore the correlation and clinical significance of PP1A and GSDME mediated pyroptosis. Methods GEPIA da-tabase was applied to analyze the mRNA expression of PP1A and GSDME in colorectal cancer and normal tissues.Western blot assay was used to detect the expression of PP1A in colorectal cancer and the corresponding normal mucosa.Immunohisto-chemistry was applied to detect the expression of PP1A and GS-DME and CD8+T lymphocytes abundance in 107 colorectal car-cinomas and normal mucosa adjacent to the carcinomas.Spearman rank correlation was used to analyze the correlation between PP1A,GSDME and CD8+T cells abundance. Results The GEPIA database search showed that mRNA expression of PP1A and GSDME in colorectal cancer differed compared to normal tissues(P<0.05).Western blot analysis showed that the relative expression of PP1A in colorectal cancer tissue was significantly higher than that in para-cancerous tissues(0.937 vs 0.643,P<0.001).Immunohistochemical results showed that the expression of PP1A in colorectal cancer tissues was signifi-cantly higher than that in normal mucosa(P<0.05).The ex-pression of GSDME in cancer tissue was closely correlated with patients'age, clinical stage and mismatch repair proteins(P<0.05),and the distribution of CD8+T cells in the cancer infil-tration front was significantly higher than that in the normal mu-cosa,and the distribution of CD8+T cells in the cancer was cor-related with pT stage, clinical stage and lymph node metastasis.Spearman correlation analysis showed that PP1A was negatively correlated with GSDME expression(r=-0.196,P<0.05).The overall survival PP1A-positive colorectal cancer patients was worse than that of PP1A-negative patients(P<0.05),and the prognosis of patients was correlated with the degree of differentia-tion,lymph node metastasis,pT stage and clinical stage.Posi-tive expression of PP1A,degree of differentiation, clinical stage,pT stage and lymph node metastasis are independent risk factors affecting the prognosis of colorectal cancer patients. Conclusion PP1A is highly expressed in colorectal cancer and negatively correlated with GSDME-mediated cell pyroptosis, and the differ-ential expression of both is closely related to the progression and prognosis of colorectal cancer, which can be used as a potential indicator for judgment of the prognosis of colorectal cancer pa-tients.The differential distribution of CD8+T cells may be asso-ciated with GSDME-mediated cell pyroptosis and tumor develop-ment.

Objective To examine the association between social isolation and cognitive function among the elderly living in the communities of Daqing city. Methods A total of 981 community residents aged 60 years or over, were surveyed with a questionnaire. Both Lubben Social Network Scale-6 (LSNS-6) and Montreal Congnitive Assessment (MoCA) Changsha Versions were used to respectively screen the status of social isolation and cognitive function,on these elderly. Results The average age was 71 years old for the 981 study participants.10.60% (104/981) of the participants were assessed as having the status of social isolation,9.48% (93/981) as having marginal family ties and 13.97% (137/981) as having marginal friendship ties. Results from the multivariate linear regression analysis revealed that participants with higher scores of LSNS-6 presenting better cognitive function score, with a partial regression coefficient as 0.10 (P<0.01).The MoCA scores in participants with social isolation (20.38 ± 5.54) were significantly lower than the ones without social isolation (22.10 ± 5.01) and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01).Social isolation was significantly related to the domain scores on visuo-spatial constructional executive functions (P=0.02),naming (P=0.03),language (P=0.01) and delayed memory functions (P<0.01),but not with other domains as concentration (P=0.33),orientation (P=0.27) or abstraction (P=0.49).Conclusion The findings suggested that social isolation was mainly caused by the lack of friendship ties and associated with cognitive function and among the elderly in Daqing city,Heilongjiang province.

Objective To summarize and analyze the dynamic change of HBsAg levels in patients with chronic Hepatitis B (CHB) after receiving nucleos(t)ide analogues (NAs) as antiviral treatment. Methods Patients who were performed quantitative Hepatitis B surface antigen(qHBsAg) from July 30, 2012 to December 30,2016 in Peking Union Medical College Hospital were retrospectively enrolled.qHBsAg, HBV DNA, HBeAg were collected and analyzed at baseline and at 192-week follow-up every 24 weeks.qHBsAg and HBeAg were assessed with chemiluminesent microparticle immuno assay(CMIA).HBV DNA was assessed with PCR and COBAS Amplicor. Results 60 patients were included.Patients in HBeAg-positive group had higher HBV DNA than that in HBeAg-negative group (P<0.05)at baseline and the two groups both were under detection limit after 48 weeks.BaselineqHBsAg in HBeAg positive-group and negative-group were (3.43±0.73) log10 IU/mL, (3.08±0.47) log10 IU/mL respectively.qHBsAg in HBeAg-positive group was higher than that in HBeAg negative-group on all follow-ups(P<0.05) except 48weeks.However on 168 weeks and 192 weeks, difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).In HBeAg-positive group, quantitative HBeAg dropped significantly during antiviral treatment. Conclusions HBV replication can be suppressed in the process of long-term NAs treatment in CHB patients. However qHBsAg decline is not so obvious, which indicates that HBsAg cleavence is difficult, and long-term NAs therapy is still necessary.
