Objective To analyze and compare the treatment of HeppleⅤ talus osteochondral injury(OLT)with autologous periosteal iliac bone graft and allogeneic bone powder combined with platelet rich gel(PRP).Methods Totally 62 HeppleⅤOLT patients admitted to our hospital from October 2018 to October 2022 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into a transplantation group(31 patients received autologous periosteal iliac bone transplantation treatment)and a combination group(31 patients received allogeneic bone powder combined with PRP treatment)based on their treatment methods.Conduct a 12 month postoperative outpatient follow-up study on patients, evaluate and compare the treatment effectiveness, ankle joint range of motion(ROM),American Society of Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Surgeons(AOFAS)ankle posterior foot score, pain score, satisfaction, and incidence of complications between the two groups of patients at 12 months after surgery. Results The total effective rate of the transplantation group(96.77%)was not significantly different from that of the combination group(93.55%,P>0.05).At 12 months after surgery, the ROM and AOFAS scores of both groups improved(P<0.05),and there was no statistically significant difference between the groups(P>0.05).At 1 month,3 months,6 months, and 12 months after surgery, the pain scores of both groups decreased compared to before surgery(P<0.05).The subjective overall satisfaction of patients in the transplantation group(77.42%)was lower than that in the combination group(96.77%,P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the transplantation group(19.35%)was significantly higher than that in the combination group(3.23%,P<0.05).Conclusion Allogeneic bone powder combined with PRP can avoid additional surgical incisions, increase patient subjective satisfaction, and increase the incidence of postoperative complications.

Objective To elevate the achievement rate of kidney biopsy puncture through the analysis of puncture angle choice of ultrasound guided automatic kidney biopsy in 518 patients. Methods Under the guidance of color Doppler ultrasound, using the 3.5MHz probe with probe holder,we performed kidney biopsy in the degrees of 40°(group X),45°(group Y),60°(group Z) and 70°(group P) with the horizontal plane. Resnlts The total achievement ratio is 100 %. The one time success rate in group Y and group Z is 100 % (group Y, 164/164 ; group Z, 186/186) ;group X is 4.8% (22/46) ;group P is 84.4% (103/122).Conclusion The automatic kidney biopsy an- gle under the guidance of ultrasound should be between 45° and 60° with the horizontal plane which is safe and has higher achievement ratio. In the meantime, complications can be avoided.

Potassium metabolism in young adult men exercising in the heat for six consecutive days and the effect of potassium deficiency in mice and rats induced by low potassium diet during heat exposure were observed. Increased potassium loss in sweat and lower potassium intake resulted in negative potassium balance. Individuals with a negative potassium balance had lower se- rum potassium levels and higher body temperature after exercise. Potassium deficient mice accomplished less work done (2.372 vs 4.253 Kg.M) but exih-ibited a markedly greater rate of heat gain (1.36 vs 0.87℃/Kg.M) as compared to the controls. The survival rate and cellular energy metabolism also decreasedThese observations suggest that prevention from potassium deficiency must be emphasized during prolonged physical activity under hot environments. According to the linear regression equations between potassium intake and balance, it is proposed that the potassium requirements in mild and medium physical activity in the heat are 40 and 60 mEq/day respectively, and the allowance of potassium in the latter may be 70-80 mEq/day.
