Objective:To analyze the research trends and hotspots of bupivacaine liposomes from 1994 to 2023 using bibliometrics. Methods:A comprehensive search was conducted for the literature related to bupivacaine liposomes in the Web of Science Core Collection from 1994 to 2023. The CiteSpace software was used to conduct an in-depth analysis of the included literature data, including publication year, country, institution, author, journal, cited references, keywords, etc. Results:A total of 875 papers related to bupivacaine liposomes were included. The research and development of bupivacaine liposomes were divided into 3 stages: slow development (1994-2011), a sharp rise (2011-2021), and stabilization (2021-2023). The United States was in a leading position in terms of the number of publications, centrality, and author cooperation, and Harvard University had the largest number of publications. de Paula E had the most publications, Bramlett K had the highest number of citations, and Boogaerts J had the highest centrality of publications. Journals such as Anesthesia and Analgesia made significant contributions to this field. The most cited references focused on the infiltration of wounds and the periprosthetic injection of bupivacaine liposomes. The keyword analysis showed that local anesthetics, postoperative pain, etc. were commonly used keywords, and enhanced recovery after surgery was an emerging hotspot. Conclusions:Bupivacaine liposomes show good application prospects in the field of peripheral nerve block due to their unique pharmacological properties and safety characteristics and are expected to prolong the duration of postoperative analgesia. However, there is a difference between the actual effect and the expectation, and more clinical trials are needed to evaluate the curative effect, providing a more solid and reliable theoretical basis and practical guidance for clinical practice.

Dynamic tracking analysis of monoclonal antibodies(mAbs)biotransformation in vivo is crucial,as certain modifications could inactivate the protein and reduce drug efficacy. However,a particular chal-lenge(i.e.immune recognition deficiencies)in biotransformation studies may arise when modifications occur at the paratope recognized by the antigen. To address this limitation,a multi-epitope affinity technology utilizing the metal organic framework(MOF)@Au@peptide@aptamer composite material was proposed and developed by simultaneously immobilizing complementarity determining region(CDR)mimotope peptide(HH24)and non-CDR mimotope aptamer(CH1S-6T)onto the surface of MOF@Au nanocomposite.Comparative studies demonstrated that MOF@Au@peptide@aptamer exhibited signifi-cantly enhanced enrichment capabilities for trastuzumab variants in comparison to mono-epitope af-finity technology. Moreover, the higher deamidation ratio for LC-Asn-30 and isomerization ratio for HC-Asn-55 can only be monitored by the novel bioanalytical platform based on MOF@Au@peptide@aptamer and liquid chromatography-quadrupole time of flight-mass spectrometry(LC-QTOF-MS).Therefore,multi-epitope affinity technology could effectively overcome the biases of traditional affinity materials for key sites modification analysis of mAb.Particularly, the novel bioanalytical platform can be suc-cessfully used for the tracking analysis of trastuzumab modifications in different biological fluids.Compared to the spiked phosphate buffer(PB)model, faster modification trends were monitored in the spiked serum and patients'sera due to the catalytic effect of plasma proteins and relevant proteases.Differences in peptide modification levels of trastuzumab in patients'sera were also monitored. In summary, the novel bioanalytical platform based on the multi-epitope affinity technology holds great potentials for in vivo biotransformation analysis of mAb,contributing to improved understanding and paving the way for future research and clinical applications.

Objective:To analyze the current status of anesthesiology research in the world and China in 2023 and to identify the anesthesiology research hotspots using bibliometrics. Methods:The literature related to anesthesiology published in PubMed in 2023 was searched, and the country and author of the literature, as well as the key words of the literature were visually analyzed by using the software CiteSpace6.2. R4.Results:A total of 22 473 articles were included, the country with the largest number of publications was the United States, and China ranked second. The author with the highest number of publications in the field of anesthesiology in the worldwide in 2023 was Kaye Alan D from the United States. Chronic pain, general anesthesia and pain management were the research hotspots in the field of anesthesiology worldwide in 2023. The research hotspots in the field of anesthesiology in China focused on general anesthesia, oxidative stress and neuropathic pain. Conclusions:The United States is the leader in the research in the field of anesthesiology, with China following behind. The keywords of the literature in the field of anesthesiology between China and the world are roughly the same, reflecting the convergence of Chinese scientific research with global scientific research. Domestic anaesthesia practitioners can refer to or learn from the research hotspots of related countries and strengthen communication and cooperation between teams while conducting academic research.

Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of carboprost methylate suppository for cervical ripening before diagnostic hysteroscopy in premenopausal women. Methods From July 2014 to July 2015, 1614 women who were undergone diagnostic hysteroscopy in 12 hospitals were randomly assigned into study group(n=1209)and control group(n=405). The cases in study group were given 1 mg carboprost methylate suppository in vagina before hysteroscopy, the cases in control group were given 1 mg placebo. The extent of cervical ripening, the time of dilated cervix, pain scoring, incidence of drug side reactions after 24, 48, 72 hours, satisfaction degree of operators and patients, the time of hysteroscopy, incidence of complications between the two groups were observed and compared. Results (1) Mean cervical widths in the study and control groups were 6.11 ± 1.11 and 5.95 ± 1.11, and showed a significant difference(P=0.034);the percentage of women requiring cervical dilatation in study group was lower than the percentage in control group significantly [28.3%(342/1209)versus 34.6%(140/405), P=0.020].(2) The time of dilated cervix in study group was shorter than the time in control group significantly [(34 ± 25) versus(52 ± 49)s, P=0.028] for the patients whose mean cervical widths≤4.(3)There was no significant difference in pain scores between the two groups(P>0.05).(4)The incidence of side reactions 24, 48, 72 hours after operation were no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05). (5) The satisfaction degree of operators and patients, the time of hysteroscopy, incidence of complications between the two groups were no singnifcant difference between the two groups (all P>0.05). Conclusion Application of carboprost methylate suppository by vagina before hysteroscopy is an effective and safe method of cervical ripening.
8.Preparation and in vitro release of Maiyanning sustained-release patches.
China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2009;34(13):1654-1657
OBJECTIVETo prepare Maiyanning sustained-release patches and optimize the prescription.
METHODThe mono-factor design was used to screen the formulation of the sustained-release patches.
RESULTThe optimal composition of the formulation was MD-607 as the pressure sensitive adhesive and azone as the penetration enhancer with the content of 5.0%. Drugs released from the pressure-sensitive adhesive patches in a constant speed, it confirmed that the drug was released by zero order equation from the patches.
CONCLUSIONThe prepared patches have an ideal release trait.
