Objective : To investigate the relationship between the risk occurrence of rectal cancer and the single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNP) of zinc finger protein 6(ZBED6), and to provide the experimental basis for early diagnosis and treatment of rectal cancer. Methods: Polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism(PCR-RFLP) technology was used to genotype the ZBED6 gene in 109 randomly selected rectal cancer patients and 110 unrelated healthy controls. To evaluate the relationship between alleles, genotypes and the risk of rectal cancer, unconditional Logistic regression analysis was used toORand 95%CI. Results: The SNP rs7552670 of ZBED6 had significant correlation with the risk of rectal cancer. Compared with the population carrying the TT genotype, those carrying the TC genotype had a 2.653 fold increased risk of rectal cancer(TTvsTC:OR=2.635, 95%CI=1.501-4.690). Other SNPs had no significant correlation with the risk of rectal cancer. Conclusion There is an interaction between the polymorphisms of ZBED6(rs7552670) and rectal cancer. The population carried ZBED6 rs7552670 TC genotype had an growing risk of rectal cancer.

Objective:This study aimed to systematically evaluate the efficacy of glucagon-like peptide-1(GLP-1) receptor agonists and multi-target analogs on weight reduction and cardiometabolic outcomes in non-diabetic individuals with obesity, and to compare the efficacy and safety across different GLP-1 receptor agonists.Methods:Randomized controlled trials(RCTs) published between January 2000 and March 2025 were identified through a systematic search of CNKI, Wanfang, Web of Science, PubMed, and Cochrane databases. Two reviewers independently screened the studies, extracted data, and assessed methodological quality. Meta-analysis was performed using RevMan 5.4.1 software. Results:A total of 16 RCTs involving 11 032 non-diabetic individuals with obesity were included. Meta-analysis showed that GLP-1 receptor agonists significantly reduced body weight(ΔWeight=-8.71 kg, 95% CI -10.68 to -6.74, P<0.001) and BMI(ΔBMI=-3.01 kg/m 2, 95% CI -3.77 to -2.25, P<0.001), as well as improved systolic blood pressure(ΔSBP=-4.13 mmHg, 1 mmHg=0.133 kPa, 95% CI -4.87 to -3.39, I2=60%) and diastolic blood pressure(ΔDBP=-1.39 mmHg, 95% CI -2.32 to -0.46, I2=95%). Tirzepatide showed the most pronounced effects on both weight and blood pressure reduction. In addition, GLP-1 receptor agonists significantly lowered LDL-C, TC, and TG, while moderately increasing HDL-C levels. In terms of safety, GLP-1 receptor agonists were associated with an increased risk of gastrointestinal adverse events, but did not significantly increase the risk of hypoglycemia. Conclusion:GLP-1 receptor agonists are effective in reducing weight, BMI, and blood pressure, and in improving lipid profiles in non-diabetic individuals with obesity. However, gastrointestinal side effects should be closely monitored. Given the variability in efficacy and safety among various GLP-1 receptor agonists, personalized treatment approaches are recommended.

Objective:To examine the relationship between college students'core self-evaluation and academic burnout,and to provide empirical support for intervention strategies.Methods:A two-point longitudinal study was conducted with 245 medical students over a period of 18 months(T1:May 2023,T2:November 2024)to assess participants'core self-evaluation level using the Core Self-Evaluation Scale(CSES),and the overall burnout level u-sing the Academic Study Burnout Inventory(ASBI).Cross-lagged panel model was applied to examine the bidirec-tional causal relationship.Results:The cross-lagged results showed that core self-evaluation score in T1 negatively predicted academic burnout score inT2(β=-0.21,P＜0.01),and academic burnout score in T1 also negatively predicted core self-evaluation score in T2(β=-0.20,P＜0.05).Conclusion:Core self-evaluations and academic burnout exhibit a reciprocal predictive relationship over time.

The pathogens were isolated and purified from the stomach,jejunum and rectum tissues of a Yunnan snub-nosed monkey who died of vomiting,oral and nasal chyme,and abdominal dis-tension,and the species and biological characteristics of the pathogens were studied by biochemical identification,PCR identification,drug susceptibility test,pathogenicity test,serotype identifica-tion,and drug resistance gene and virulence gene analysis.The results showed that the pathogens i-solated from stomach,jejunum and rectum were Escherichia coli(E.coli)serotype O127,belong-ing to enteropathogenic E.coli.They were resistant to cefoxitin and sensitive to gentamicin,gati-floxacin and ciprofloxacin.All the three strains carried drug resistance genes blaTEM and blaCTX-M and virulence genes opmA and opmC.This study provides reference and data support for the prevention and control of enteritis caused by E.coli in Yunnan snub-nosed monkey.

Objective To conduct a scoping review on studies of tele-health management for stroke patients at home.Methods According to the reporting framework of scoping review,a system-atic literature search was performed in 9 databases or websites from January 1,2013 to May 1,2023.Results A total of 52 literatures from 12 countries were included,most of which were interventional studies.Tele-health management was gradually becoming a trend in the application of stroke patients at home,relying on rehabilitation robots,virtual reality rehabilitation games,social platforms,home health network platforms and other carriers for rehabilitation training,disease monitoring,health edu-cation and guidance,follow-up and reminder.Conclusion The contents of tele-health management for stroke patients at home are abundant,with many evaluation indexes.In the future,rehabilitation training should enhance the gameplay of rehabilitation video games,improve patient's experience,and use artificial intelligence based on medical big data to provide auxiliary support for patients;at the same time,the content of each module of the tele-health management program should be standardized,and caregivers are encouraged to participate in the tele-health management of stroke patients at home,so as to better play the role of tele-health management in the field of post-stroke health management at home.

The unique characteristics of the tumor microenvironment (TME) could be exploited to develop antitumor nanomedicine strategies. However, in many cases, the actual therapeutic effect is far from reaching our expectations due to the notable tumor heterogeneity. Given the amplified characteristics of TME regulated by vascular disrupting agents (VDAs), nanomedicines may achieve unexpected improved efficacy. Herein, we fabricate platelet membrane-fusogenic liposomes (PML/DP&PPa), namely "platesomes", which actively load the hypoxia-activated pro-prodrug DMG-PR104A (DP) and physically encapsulate the photosensitizer pyropheophorbide a (PPa). Considering the different stages of tumor vascular collapse and shutdown induced by a VDA combretastatin-A4 phosphate (CA4P), PML/DP&PPa is injected 3 h after intraperitoneal administration of CA4P. First, CA4P-mediated tumor hemorrhage amplifies the enhanced permeation and retention (EPR) effect, and the platesome-biological targeting further promotes the tumor accumulation of PML/DP&PPa. Besides, CA4P-induced vascular occlusion inhibits oxygen supply, followed by photodynamic therapy-caused acute tumor hypoxia. This prolonged extreme hypoxia contributes to the complete activation of DP and then high inhibitory effect on tumor growth and metastasis. Thus, such a combining strategy of artificially-regulated TME and bio-inspired platesomes pronouncedly improves tumor drug delivery and boosts tumor hypoxia-selective activation, and provides a preferable solution to high-efficiency cancer therapy.
