Colorectal inflammatory cancer transformation poses a major risk to patients with colitis. Patients with chronic intestinal inflammation have an approximately 2-3 folds increased risk of developing colorectal cancer (CRC). Unfortunately, there is currently no effective intervention available. Huangqin decoction (HQD), a well-known traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formula, is frequently clinically prescribed for treating patients with colitis, and its active ingredients have effective antitumour efficacy. Nonetheless, the mechanism of HQD-mediated prevention of colorectal inflammatory cancer transformation remains unclear. A strategy integrating metagenomic, lipidomic, and messenger RNA (mRNA) sequencing analysis was used to investigate the regulatory effects of HQD on the gut microbiome, metabolism and potential mechanisms involved in colorectal inflammatory cancer transformation. Our study revealed that HQD suppressed colorectal inflammatory cancer transformation, which was associated with enhanced intestinal barrier function, decreased the inflammatory response, and regulation of the gut microbiome. Notably, cohousing experiments revealed that the transfer of the gut microbiome from HQD-treated mice largely inhibited the pathological transformation of colitis. Moreover, gut microbiome transfer from HQD-treated mice primarily resulted in the altered regulation of fatty acid metabolism, especially the remodeling of arachidonic acid metabolism, which was associated with the amelioration of pathological transformation. Arachidonic acid metabolism and the key metabolic enzyme arachidonic acid 12-lipoxygenase (ALOX12) were affected by HQD treatment, and no obvious protective effect of HQD was observed in Alox 12 -/- mice, which revealed that ALOX12 was a critical mediator of HQD protection against colorectal inflammatory cancer transformation. In summary, multiple omics analyses were applied to produce valuable data and theoretical support for the application of HQD as a promising intervention for the transformation of inflammatory CRC.

Porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV) is an intestinal coronavirus that can cause porcine epidemic diarrhea, leading to diarrhea, vomiting, weight loss, and even death in piglets. Due to the diversity of PEDV strains, traditional vaccines are difficult to sustainably and effectively prevent and control PEDV. This article reviews the strategies and mechanisms of active substances in regulating intracellular signaling pathways, viral proteins, and microbial metabolites to enhance the host immune function against PEDV. It emphasizes the prevention of PEDV resistance and the potential harm of PEDV breaking through interspecies barriers to the human society, aiming to provide reliable theoretical support for the development of new antiviral drugs or vaccines.

Objective:To explore the efficacy of a flat ground exoskeleton robot in improving the walking ability of stroke survivors.Methods:Fifty-eight stroke survivors with mobility difficulties were randomly divided into a robot group ( n=29) and a control group ( n=29). In addition to routine rehabilitation, the control group received conventional walking training, while the robot group underwent exoskeleton robot-assisted gait training. The 30-minute training sessions were held twice a day, 5 days per week for 5 weeks. Before as well as after 2 and 4 weeks of treatment, everyone′s walking ability was tested using the 6-minute walk test (6MWT) and functional ambulation scale (FAC). General lower limb motor function was quantified using the Fugl-Meyer Lower Extremity assessment (FMA-LE). Moreover, gait analysis was conducted before and after 4 weeks of treatment. Results:After 2 and 4 weeks of treatment, the average 6MWT times of both groups were significantly better than before the treatment, with the improvement of the robot group significantly greater than that of the control group after 2 weeks. After 2 and 4 weeks the average FMA-LE and FAC scores of both groups had improved significantly compared with before treatment. After 4 weeks the stride frequency and gait cycle of both groups had improved significantly. Conclusions:Exoskeleton robot-assisted gait training can improve walking ability and lower limb motor function of stroke survivors about as well as conventional walking training.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2020;41(9):1343-1345
Objective:
To analyze the prevalence of overweight and obesity among adolescents in Wuhan and its association with bullying victimization, and to provide information for relevant interventions.
Methods:
A total of 3 251 adolescents in senior grade of primary school, middle school and high school were selected by using random clustering sampling method and were surveyed by questionnaire, height and weight were measured.
Results:
Among the 3 251 students, 523(16.09%) were overweight, and 445 (13.69%) were obesity. In the past 30 days, 732 (22.52%) of the adolescents had ever been bullied and 101(3.11%) had often been bullied. The relationship between overweight/obesity and bullying victimization among boys was not statistically significant by controlling areas and age(P>0.05). While girls who were overweight or obesity were more likely to be bullied (OR=1.78,1.58, P<0.05).
Conclusion
Overweight and obesity have a certain influence on the physical and mental development of adolescents, which may increase the possibility of being bullied among girls. Strategies should be taken to prevent overweight and obesity among children and adolescents, and a healthy body shape appreciation should be established, to reduce the incidence of bullying.

Chinese Journal of Modern Nursing 2016;22(32):4602-4607
Objective To know the research status and the tendency of development about the catheter depth of retention enema. Methods All the clinical studies about the catheter depth of retention enema were searched in China national knowledge internet (CNKI),VIP,Chinese biological medical disc and WanFang database from January 26th 2016.Bibliometric analysis was used to analyze these articles from the distribution of the year, periodical, region, work unit, fund, study type and the characteristics of included studies. Results A total of 76 articles were included and the number of published articles was stable in recent years. The majority was journal articles and was published in nursing journals. Most of the published articles were from Shandong,Guangdong and Sichuan province. Most of the authors were work in hospitals.Funding source was poor.58 (76.3%) articles were about random control trails (RCTs).The catheter depth in the experimental group was 3-60 cm;the number of samples included in the study was 15-560,while none was estimated.8 studies reported the inclusion criteria, and 6 studies reported the exclusion criteria.Baseline comparability was reported in 50 studies. Conclusions Although the number of clinical studies on the catheter depth of retention enema is at the stable stage, the study design and methodological quality still need to be further improved.Researchers should follow the principle of randomization, control and blinding in the future researches;specify the strict inclusion and exclusion criteria;and set up a reasonable control to ensure the authenticity and reliability of the findings.

Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and the situation of diagnosis after onset. Methods Three hundred outpatients diagnosed with SLE were investigated in the People's Hospital, the Third Hospital of Peking University, Xinjiang People's Hospital and the Affiliated Hospital from May to July 2008, including gender, age of onset, clinical manifestations and the site of first hospitalization. Results ① In the cross-sectional study, 300 SLE patients were investigated. The male-to-female ratio was 1:13. ② The most common manifestations at onset were arthritis (46.3%), rash (34.%) and fever (32.7%). Lupus nephritis was found to occur in a significantly higher frequency in male patients than female as the initial manifestation. 60.9% patients had lupus nephritis in the first year after onset. ③ 99.1% of the patients were correctly diagnosed after visiting rheumatologists. 23.7% of the SLE patients were not correctly diagnosed for more than one year after disease onset. Conclusion Arthritis, rash and fever are the most common initial clinical manifestations of SLE. Lupus nephritis is more commonly seen in male SLE patients than female at the disease onset. The diagnosis of lupus is delayed in certain proportion of patients.
