Objective To investigate the application of cardiovascular magnetic resonance feature tracking(CMR-FT)in assessing myocardial strain in dilated cardiomyopathy(DCM)patients residing at high altitudes.Methods We retrospectively enrolled 29 DCM patients living at high altitudes(DCM-H),27 DCM patients living in a low-altitude plain environment(DCM-P),23 healthy volunteers living at a high altitude(HV-H),and 24 healthy volunteers living in a low-altitude plain environment(HV-P).All subjects underwent cine MRI scanning using a 3.0T rapid steady-state free precession sequence.The CMR images thus acquired were analyzed using cvi42,a post-processing software,to obtain left ventricular function and myocardial strain parameters.Results Compared with the HV-H group,the DCM-H group showed higher left ventricle end-diastolic volume(LVEDV)and left ventricle end-systolic volume(LVESV),and lower left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)and stroke volume(LVSV)(all P＜0.01).No significant difference was observed in cardiac function between the DCM-H and DCM-P groups(all P＞0.05).The absolute values of global radial strain(GRS),global circumferential strain(GCS),and global longitudinal strain(GLS)in the DCM-H group were lower than those in the HV-P group([14.5±6.5]％vs.[34.2±10.7]％,[-11.1±4.4]％vs.[-19.9±2.8]％,and[-7.7±3.2]％vs.[-13.6±4.1]％,respectively),with the differences being statistically significant(all P＜0.001).The DCM-H group had higher absolute GRS,GCS,and GCS values than the DCM-P group did([14.5±6.5]％vs.[7.0±2.7]％,[-11.1±4.4]％vs.[—5.4±2.2]％,and[—7.7±3.2]％vs.[—4.3±1.7]％,respectivley,all P＜0.01).Conclusion Myocardial strain in DCM patients living at a high altitude is lower than that in healthy volunteers living at a high altitude,but higher than that in DCM patients living in a low-altitude plain environment.CMR-FT can be used to quantitatively assess myocardial contractility in DCM patients living at a high altitude,showing promise for clinical application.

Objective To investigate the effectiveness of an evidence-based continuity of care intervention program for patients with dental implant restorations.Methods Dental implant restoration patients attending the implantology department of a tertiary dental specialty hospital in Yunnan Province from May 2024 to December 2024 were selected,and 64 eligible subjects were randomly assigned to the experimental group and the control group using the convenience sampling method,with 32 patients in each group.The control group received a routine care program for oral implant restorations,while the experimental group received an evidence-based continuity of care intervention program.The self-efficacy,medical compliance,and periodontal condition of dental implant restoration patients within 6 months after wearing dentures were compared between the two groups.Results After 6 months of intervention,the oral health self-efficacy,medical compliance,and periodontal condition(including Modified Sulcus Bleeding Index(mSBI),Modified Plaque Index(mPLI),and Probing Depth(PD))of the patients in the experimental group were superior to those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion An evidence-based continuity of care intervention program for patients with dental implant restorations can effectively improve their oral health care self-efficacy level and medical compliance,reduce the periodontal bleeding,decrease the plaque buildup,and improve the periodontal status.

OBJECTIVE To provide reference for basic analysis of the pharmacodynamic substance in Stahlianthus involucratus. METHODS Overall 24 SD male rats were randomly divided into blank group （purified water）， and administration group （ethanol extract of S. involucratus， 15.75 g/kg， calculated by crude drug）， with 12 rats in each group. They were given drug liquid/purified water intragastrically， twice a day， every 6-8 h， for consecutive 3 days. After medication， the blood， urine and fecal samples were collected from two groups of rats. UPLC-Q-Exactive-MS technology was used to identify the chemical constituents in the ethanol extract of S. involucratus， and metabolites in the blood， urine and fecal of rats after intragastrical administration of the ethanol extract of S. involucratus. Multivariate statistical analysis was employed to screen various serum metabolites. Metabolic pathways were analyzed by MetaboAnalyst 5.0 platform. RESULTS A total of 38 chemical constituents were identified from the ethanol extract of S. involucratus， including fourteen prototype components and three metabolites identified from 5 urine samples， nine prototype components identified from fecal samples， and ten prototype components and one metabolite identified from serum samples. A total of 71 differential metabolites were screened from two groups of rat serum samples， of which 44 differential metabolites， such as ferulic acid， glycyrrhizin， were up-regulated and 27 differential metabolites， such as arachidonic acid， phenylacetylglutamine， were down-regulated. The 71 differential metabolites were mainly enriched in 11 metabolic pathways， including phenylalanine metabolism， linoleic acid metabolism， arachidonic acid metabolism， and tryptophan metabolism. CONCLUSIONS Ferulic acid， liquiritigenin， isofraxidin and formononetin may be the material basis that directly exert pharmacological effects of S. involucratus. S. involucratus may exert anti-inflammatory effects by affecting metabolic pathways， including arachidonic acid metabolism and tryptophan metabolism.

Objective The aim of this study was to investigate the high risk factors of intraoperative stress injury in children with posterior spinal scoliosis and to construct a corresponding risk prediction model.Methods A total of 237 cases of orthopaedic surgery for posterior scoliosis performed in three first-class hospitals in Changsha City from October 2021 to February 2023.The patients were divided into injury group(31 cases)and uninjured group(206 cases)according to whether stress injury occurred.The risk factors were screened by single factor analysis and multiple Logistic regression analysis,and the corresponding risk prediction model was constructed.Results The results of single factor analysis showed that constitutional index,preoperative skin condition,preoperative hypoproteinemia,preoperative anemia,operative time,intraoperative body temperature and intraoperative bleeding were related to the occurrence of vascular crisis.BMI,preoperative skin condition,preoperative hypoproteinemia,operative time and intraoperative bleeding are high risk factors for the occurrence of intraoperative stress injury in children with posterior scoliosis.The area under ROC curve is 0.612,the sensitivity is 89.7％,and the specificity is 91.0％,indicating that this model has good risk prediction ability.Conclusion BMI,preoperative skin condition,preoperative hypoproteinemia,operative time and intraoperative bleeding are high risk factors for the occurrence of intraoperative stress injury in children with posterior scoliosis.

Improving the sense of belonging of the elderly in nursing institutions is of great significance to enhance their sense of self-worth and self-identity,and further meet the spiritual needs of the elderly in nursing institutions.This paper reviewed the concept,current situation,evaluation tools and influencing factors of the elderly's sense of belonging in nursing institutions,and proposes that there is a lack of tools to measure the sense of belonging of the elderly in nursing institutions,and the intervention strategies with caregivers as the core needs to be further explored.

Objective: To evaluate the correlation between electronic cigarette (e-cigarette) use and environmental e-cigarette exposure among residents living in Guangzhou City, so as to provide the evidence for the development of the e-cigarette control policy. Methods: Permanent university students living in Guangzhou City were recruited as investigators from July to October 2021, and the permanent adult residents in communities where the university students lived were randomly selected as participants. Subjects' demographic features, e-cigarette use, passive viewing of e-cigarette use and exposure to e-cigarette advertising were collected using both online and offline questionnaire surveys, and the association of e-cigarette use with passive viewing of e-cigarette use and exposure to e-cigarette advertising were examined using a multivariable logistic regression model. Results: A total of 948 questionnaires were allocated, and 874 valid questionnaires were recovered, with an effective recovery rate of 92.19%. The respondents had a mean age of ( 34.96±13.76 ) years. There were 420 men ( 48.05% ), and 426 married residents ( 48.80% ). The prevalence of e-cigarette use was 14.99%, and the rate of e-cigarette use was 23.81% in men and 6.83% in women. In addition, 27.27% of respondents at ages of 35 to 44 years used e-cigarette, 479 respondents viewed e-cigarette advertising ( 54.81% ) and 510 respondents had at least once passive viewing of e-cigarette use ( 58.35% ). Multivariable logistic regression analysis revealed that a higher frequency of exposure to e-cigarette advertising ( OR: 3.064-5.784, 95%CI: 1.683-12.620 ) and a higher frequency of passive viewing of e-cigarette use ( OR: 2.182-2.349, 95%CI: 1.094-4.526 ) led to a higher rate of e-cigarette use. Conclusions E-cigarette use is affected by passive viewing of e-cigarette use and exposure to e-cigarette advertising among community residents in Guangzhou City. Supervision and restriction is recommended for e-cigarette advertising, marketing, and use in public places.

The CD19-targeting bispecific T-cell engager blinatumomab has shown remarkable efficacy in patients with relapsed/refractory B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia. However, several studies showed that blinatumomab has a short plasma half-life due to its low molecular weight, and thus its clinical use is limited. Furthermore, multiple trials have shown that approximately 30% of blinatumomab-relapsed cases are characterized by CD19 negative leukemic cells. Here, we design and characterize two novel antibodies, A-319 and A-2019. Blinatumomab and A-319 are CD3/CD19 bispecific antibodies with different molecular sizes and structures, and A-2019 is a novel CD3/CD19/CD20 trispecific antibody with an additional anti-CD20 function. Our in vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo experiments demonstrated that A-319 and A-2019 are potent antitumor agents and capable of recruiting CD3 positive T cells, enhancing T-cell function, mediating B-cell depletion, and eventually inhibiting tumor growth in Raji xenograft models. The two molecules are complementary in terms of efficacy and specificity profile. The activity of A-319 demonstrated superior to that of A-2019, whereas A-2019 has an additional capability to target CD20 in cells missing CD19, suggesting its potential function against CD19 weak or negative CD20 positive leukemic cells.

Objective:To investigate the occurrence of pressure injury in infants undergoing operation and analyze the risk factors of pressure injury.Methods:Using the retrospective analysis method, a total of 657 infants and young children who were admitted to Department of Anesthesia Surgery and underwent operation in Hunan Children's Hospital from July 2018 to June 2021 were selected as research objects. According to National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel (NPUAP) , infants and young children undergoing operation were evaluated. They were divided into the pressure injury group ( n=15) and the no pressure injury group ( n=643) according to the occurrence of pressure injury. The age of infants and young children, operation time, body temperature of 30 minutes after operation, fasting time, body mass index (BMI) , operation position, pressure injury time, pressure injury location, pressure injury classification and operation type were collected. The occurrence of postoperative pressure injury was investigated and the related factors were analyzed. Results:Among the 657 infants and young children undergoing operation, 21 cases had pressure injury. Logistic regression analysis showed that the operation duration was≥3 h ( OR=4.362, 95% CI: 3.322-5.728) , the body temperature of 30 minues after surgery was lower than 34.0℃ ( OR=1.066, 95% CI: 1.009-1.127) and BMI greater than 17.9 kg/m 2 ( OR=2.683, 95% CI: 1.133-6.356) were risk factors for pressure injury in infants undergoing surgery ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:The incidence of pressure injury in infants and young children undergoing operation is relatively high. Therefore, it is necessary to focus on evaluating the influencing factors of pressure injury in the perioperative period and implement effective preventive measures to reduce the incidence of pressure injury as much as possible.

Objective:To establish the animal model of temporomandibular joint osteoarthrosis (TMJOA) in rats induced by perforation of articular disc and evaluate the morphological characteristics and histopathological changes of the condyle of temporomandibular joint (TMJ).Methods:Eight male SD rats, purchased from Chongqing Medical University, were marked from No. 1 to No. 8 according to a random number table. The eight numbered rats were then arranged according to their sizes from large to small. The first four rats were divided into the one-week group, while the last four were divided into the four-week group. In order to simulate a TMJ disc perforation, an oblique incision was created along the zygomatic arch of the left side (the model side) making the TMJ superior joint space exposed. The left disc was pulled out and artificially perforated by a dental round bur with 1.5 mm diameter at the postmedian part of TMJ disc. The disc of the right side (the control side) was kept intact. The rats were randomly euthanized respectively at 1 week or 4 weeks (n=4 for each time point) for further study. Morphological observation and imaging examination were used to assess the degree of articular cartilage degradation and the loss of subchondral bone. Immunohistochemicalstaining (IHC), safranin O and fast green staining, tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase (TRAP) staining and haematoxylin staining were performed to evaluate the histopathological changes of condylar cartilage.Results:In the morphological observation, significant redness and swelling were observed on the model side of the 1-week-group and the typical beak-like change of osteoarthropathy was observed on the model side of the 4-week-group. The heights of condylar process on the model sides in the 1-week-group and 4-week-group [(2.73±0.14) and (2.49±0.25) cm, respectively] were significantly lower than that in the control side [(3.30±0.09) and (3.30±0.12) cm, respectively] ( P<0.01). Imaging examination showed obvious damage in trabecular microstructure on the model side of the 4-week-group. Safranin O and fast green staining showed that the amounts of proteoglycan on the model sides of the 1-week-group and the 4-week-group were significantly lower than that on the control sides ( P<0.01). TRAP staining showed that the numbers of osteoclasts on the model side of the 1-week-group and the 4-week-group was significantly higher than that on the control sides ( P<0.01). IHC staining and Haematoxylin staining showed that the mean optical densities of collagen on the model side of the 1-week-group and the 4-week-group was significantly reduced compared with that on the control sides (P<0.01), while the mean optical densities of matrix metalloproteinase increased significantly ( P<0.01). Conclusions:After making a articular disc perforation, the condylar cartilage on the model side presented typical TMJOA pathological changes.

Objective:To investigate the risk factors of systolic dysfunction early complicated in patients with isolated traumatic brain injury (iTBI) and to evaluate the influence of complicated systolic dysfunction on the prognosis of iTBI patients.Methods:From January 2017 to October 2018, 123 patients with moderate or severe iTBI admitted to Trauma Centre in our hospital were included in the study, and patients with previous cardiovascular diseases were excluded. Left ventricular systolic function was assessed by transthoracic echocardiography within 24 h after admission. The patients were divided into normal systolic function group ( n=100) and systolic dysfunction group ( n=23) according to the results of echocardiography. Data were collected from all patients on admission, including GCS score, systolic blood pressure, heart rate, high-sensitivity cardiac troponin T (hs-cTnT), clinical treatment variables (use of sedative drugs, vasoactive drugs, etc.), craniotomy or not and clinical outcomes (survival or death) during hospitalization. Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the related factors for iTBI patients complicated with systolic dysfunction, and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was drawn to evaluate the predictive value of each index for iTBI patients complicated with cardiac insufficiency. Results:The systolic blood pressure (147.3±23.3) mmHg, the heart rate (96.1±26.3) beats/min and the hs-cTnT level (16.48±8.17) pg/mL in the systolic dysfunction group were higher than those in the normal systolic function group on admission (all P<0.05); and the GCS score in the systolic dysfunction group was lower than that in the normal systolic function group ( P<0.05). Logistic regression analysis showed that the heart rate ( OR=1.129, 95% CI: 1.001-1.516; P=0.038), the GCS score ( OR=0.640, 95% CI: 0.445-0.920; P=0.016) and the hs-cTnT level ( OR=1.054, 95% CI: 1.009-1.101; P=0.002) on admission were independent risk factors for iTBI patients complicated with systolic dysfunction. The area under the ROC curve (AUC) of the hs-cTnT levelon admission was the largest (AUC=0.863, P<0.01). The in-hospital mortality of patients in the systolic dysfunction group was higher than that of patients in the normal systolic function group (52.5% vs 22%, P=0.004). Conclusions:The heart rate, the GCS score and the serum hs-cTnT level on admission were independent risk factors for iTBI patients complicated with systolic dysfunction. The hs-cTnT level could better predict the occurrence of cardiac systolic dysfuncion, and higher in-hospital mortality was found in iTBI patients complicated with systolic dysfunction. Therefore, early detection and timely intervention may improve the prognosis of these patients.
