Objective:To explore the facilitators and barriers in implementing the orthokeratology lens-wearing education guidance program from the perspectives of children, their families, and medical and nursing staff. Methods:Based on phenomenological research, purposive sampling was used to select five medical workers, 18 children wearing orthokeratology lenses and family members from the Optometry Center of Peking University Third Hospital as interviewees for semi-structured interviews. Colaizzi's 7-step method was used to analyze interview data. Results:Two themes (facilitators and barriers) were extracted, among which facilitators included two sub-themes (strong demand for educational guidance, trust in medical and nursing staff), and barriers consisted of two sub-themes (patient factors, external support factors) .Conclusions:In promoting the educational guidance intervention program for wearing orthokeratology lenses, medical and nursing staff need to fully play the role of facilitators, analyze and solve barriers, and ultimately promote the smooth implementation of the intervention program.

Objective To investigate the expression of inositol polyphosphate 4-phosphatase type Ⅱ B(INPP4B)in colorectal cancer(CRC)and the relevant clinical significance,to determine the relationship between INPP4B and matrix metallopeptidase 7(MMP7)in CRC cells, and to make preliminary exploration of the effects of INPP4B on the proliferation and migration of CRC cells and mechanisms involved. Methods The TIMER2.0 and GEPIA2 databases were used to analyze the differences in INPP4B expression between cancer and para-cancerous tissues and the effects of such differences on the prognosis of CRC.The expression of INPP4B in 102 surgically resected CRC tumors was determined by immunohistochemistry(IHC),and the correlation between INPP4B and clinical pathological indicators was analyzed. In CRC cells with overexpressed/knocked-down INPP4B,the expression of INPP4B and MMP7 were examined by real time fluorogenic quantitative PCR,the protein expression of INPP4B was assessed by Western blot, cell proliferation was determined using the CellTiter 96? AQueous One assay, and cell migration and invasion were assessed using wound healing assay and real-time label-free dynamic cell analysis(RTCA).The LinkedOmics database was used to analyze signaling pathways related to INPP4B function, and the role of potential key molecules was validated at the cellular level. Results Analysis with the TIMER2.0 database and GEPIA2 database showed elevated INPP4B expression(colon adenocarcinoma[COAD]:2.30,rectal adenocarcinoma[READ]:2.33)in CRC compared to normal tissue(COAD:1.91,READ:1.89).IHC testing confirmed that INPP4B was upregulated in clinical CRC tissues and paracancerous tissues(P<0.001).Cox regression model analysis showed that INPP4B(hazards ratio[HR]=1.457,95%confidence interval[CI]:1.003-2.115)affected the prognosis of CRC,and the Kaplan-Meier curve showed that patients with high INPP4B expression had shorter overall survival(P<0.05).x2 test was performed to analyze the relationship between INPP4B expression and clinicopathological indexes, and it was found that high expression of INPP4B was correlated with lymph node metastasis(x2=3.997,P=0.046)and neural invasion(x2=8.511,P=0.004).In in vitro experiments,CRC cells overexpressing INPP4B showed a significantly increased cell proliferation and migration compared to the cells in the control group(P<0.05).Analysis using the LinkedOmics database showed that INPP4B was correlated with extracellular matrix remodeling and cell migration.Pearson's correlation analysis showed that MMP7 was positively correlated with INPP4B(r=0.3782,P<0.001).INPP4B overexpression or knockdown in vitro also led to the upregulation or the downregulation of MMP7 expression in CRC cells. Conclusion INPP4B is highly expressed in CRC tissues and significantly correlated with lymph node metastasis, neural invasion, and patient prognosis.MMP7 may mediate the role of INPP4B in promoting CRC cell migration and invasion.

Over the past few years, the human virome and its complex interactions with microbial communities and the immune system have gained recognition as a crucial factor in human health. Individuals with compromised immune function encounter distinctive challenges due to their heightened vulnerability to a diverse range of infectious diseases. This review aims to comprehensively explore and analyze the growing evidence regarding the role of the virome in immunocompromised disease status. By surveying the latest literature, we present a detailed overview of virome alterations observed in various immunodeficiency conditions. We then delve into the influence and mechanisms of these virome changes on the pathogenesis of specific diseases in immunocompromised individuals. Furthermore, this review explores the clinical relevance of virome studies in the context of immunodeficiency, highlighting the potential diagnostic and therapeutic gains from a better understanding of virome contributions to disease manifestations.

Objective:To investigate the clinical application of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and the reasons of the choosing CBT.Method:Totally 14 psychotherapists accepted a semi-structured interview, including their backgrounds of CBT training, the application of CBT in psychotherapy, their attitude toward consultative relations, their opinion on comparing other schools with CBT,and their reasons for choosing CBT.Results:The main reasons for choosing CBT included the influence of important others, the characters of CBT and personal factors. In clinical practice, the most commonly used behavioral techniques included exposure therapy, roll play, relaxation Waining and so on.The most commonly used cognitive techniques included Socratic questioning, cognitive restructuring and challenge unreasonable cognition. Conclusion:Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is suitable for those who are sensible and preferring structural therapy.Nevertheless, the trend in therapy is the integration of different psychotherapy schools.

Objective To evaluate the significance of serum 8-hydroxy-deoxyguanosine acid ( 8-OHdG) in the diagnosis of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis ( NASH).Methods Patients or healthy subjects were enrolled at the Second Hospital of Tianjin Medical University and the Second People ′s Hospital of Tianjin from May 2013 to December 2015.A total of 41 patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease were enrolled in the study , including 20 nonalcoholic simple fatty liver ( NAFL) patients and 21 NASH patients whose diagnosis were proven by liver biopsy. The other 32 healthy subjects were studied as controls.Serum 8-OHdG, ALT, AST and GGT were tested.Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease activity score ( NAS ) and expression of 8-OHdG in liver was investigated between NAFL patients and NASH patients. The correlations between serum 8-OHdG and serum ALT , AST, GGT, and 8-OHdG in liver tissue in NASH group were investigated. In addition , the receiver operating characteristic ( ROC) curve analyses for ALT and 8-OHdG levels were performed in NAFL patients and NASH patients , and the cut-off value was determined. Results Serum 8-OHdG values in healthy controls , NAFL and NASH patients were (0.19 ±0.16) μg/L, (0.22 ±0.16) μg/L, (0.42 ±0.21) μg/L respectively. The serum 8-OHdG and serum ALT, GGT and 8-OHdG in liver tissue were all positively correlated in NASH group with respective correlation coefficient r values as 0.454 7, 0.382 9, and 0.497 6.AUC of 8-OHdG was 0.901 with cut-off value 0.39 μg/L.Its sensitivity was 88.3%and specificity was 81.5%, which were higher than those of ALT.Conclusion The value of serum 8-OHdG would be used as a marker for the diagnosis of NASH.
