Liver diseases have become a major challenge threating the global health, posing a heavy burden on both social and personal well-being. In recent years, the development of the gut-liver axis theory has provided new research perspectives and intervention strategies for the prevention and treatment of liver diseases. Natural products, recognized as biological molecules with diverse sources, rich activities, and minimal side effects, demonstrate great potential in regulating intestinal flora and improving liver health. Studies have shown that natural products such as saponins, polyphenols, polysaccharides, and alkaloids can regulate the composition and metabolites of intestinal flora, thereby intervening in liver diseases. In this paper, we systematically review the role of natural products in the regulation of the intestinal flora-gut-liver axis and summarize recent research progress in the prevention and treatment of liver diseases. Furthermore, we outline the challenges and limitations currently facing the study in this field. Finally, this paper makes an outlook on the clinical application of natural products in treating liver diseases and discusses future research directions, aiming to give new insights into the mechanisms by which natural products regulate the intestinal flora-gut-liver axis and the applications of these products in the prevention and treatment of liver diseases.

Objective:To explore the effect of the hospital discharge readiness plan based on deep integration of medical nursing and rehabilitation in children with cerebral palsy. Methods:From January 2020 to September 2021, 60 children with cerebral palsy and their 60 parents admitted to the Children's Rehabilitation Department of Anhui Children's Hospital were selected as the research object. The children and parents were divided into the observation group and the control group by random number table, with 30 children and 30 parents in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given the hospital discharge readiness plan based on the deep integration of medical nursing and rehabilitation. On the first day of admission and the day before discharge, the effects were evaluated using the Chinese version of the Chinese version of the Readiness for Hospital Discharge Scale (RHDS) -Parent Form, the Chinese version of the Quality of Discharge Teaching Scale (QDTS) -Parent Form, the Activities of Daily Living (ADL) Rehabilitation Nursing Rating Scale for Children with Cerebral Palsy. Results:After the intervention, the scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group in terms of readiness for hospital discharge, quality of discharge teaching, and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:The hospital discharge readiness plan based on deep integration of medical nursing and rehabilitation in children with cerebral palsy can effectively improve their discharge readiness, the quality of discharge teaching and the ADL of children with cerebral palsy.

Objective:
To investigate the expression change, biological role and action mechanism of long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) LINC00978 in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
Methods:
The expression levels of LINC00978 in tumor tissues and serum samples of NSCLC patients were detected by the qRT-PCR. The effects of knockdown and overexpression of LINC00978 on the biological function of A549 cells were determined by the CCK-8, colony formation, Transwell migration and invasion assays. The action mechanisms of LINC00978 in NSCLC were investigated by the flow cytometry, qRT-PCR and western blot, respectively.
Results:
The expression levels of LINC00978 in the tissues ( t =2.465, P <0.05) and serum samples ( t =8.781, P <0.01) of NSCLC patients increased. The knockdown of LINC00978 inhibited the proliferation, migration and invasion of A549 cells ( P <0.01) and induced cell cycle arrest at G1 phase and apoptosis of A549 cells ( P <0.01). The knockdown of LINC00978 downregulated the expression of Cyclin D1 and Bcl-2 , and upregulated the expression of Bax ( P <0.05). In addition, the knockdown of LINC00978 inhibited the expression of N-cadherin, Vimentin, Snail, Slug and Twist, and promoted the expression of E-cadherin ( P <0.05). The overexpression of LINC00978 had the opposite effect.
Conclusion
LINC00978 is highly expressed in NSCLC and can promote the occurrence and progression of NSCLC, which may serve as a potential target for the diagnosis and therapy of NSCLC.
