Objective : To investigate the effects of cinnamaldehyde(CA) on the growth, metastasis and apoptosis of human endometriosis(EMs) cells and to explore whether the mechanism is related to ribosomal protein S7(RPS7) expression. Methods : Endometriosis cells were divided into control group, CA group, sh-NC group, CA+sh-RPS7 group. Effects of CA on cell growth in human endometriotic cells were determined using Cell Counting Kit-8(CCK-8) and colony formation assay. Effects of CA on cell metastasis were performed by motility assay and Transwell assay. Effects of CA on cell apoptosis were evaluated by Hoechst 33258 staining and flow cytometry. Meanwhile, the levels of PCNA, E-cadherin, Vimentin, Bax and Bcl-2 were evaluated using Western blot in human endometriotic cells with treatment CA. The expression of RPS7 was detected by qRT-PCR and Western blot assay. The RPS7 overexpression of human endometriotic cells was established by cell transfection. CA-mediated effects on cell proliferation and apoptosis were determined by CCK-8 assay and flow cytometry in human endometriotic cells with RPS7 overexpression. Results : CA repressed cell growth as well as down-regulated PCNA. The half inhibitory concentration(IC50) value was 53.60 μmol/L after 24 h treatment, and colony formation rate was 25.32%. Additionally, CA inhibited metastasis which was associated with downregulated Vimentin and upregulated E-cadherin. The relative migration rates were 35% and 29% as well as invasion rate was 40%. Further, CA induced apoptosis by cell cycle G2/M phase arrest and cell apoptosis rate was 25.1%, which related to the up-regulation of of Bax and the down-regulation of Bcl-2. CA inhibited the expression of RPS7 and overexpression of RPS7 promoted cell proliferation and suppressed apoptosis in CA-mediated cells. Conclusion CA inhibits cell growth, metastasis, and induces cell apoptosis by downregulating the expression of RPS7.

Objective:To explore and validate the targets of Salvia miltiorrhiza in myopia using network pharmacology and molecular docking technology. Methods:The TCMSP database was used to extract the targets of Salvia miltiorrhiza.GeneCards, DisGeNET, Malacard and OMIM databases were used to extract the myopia-related targets.The target intersection was taken, and the intersecting targets were selected to extract the corresponding active ingredients of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and construct the pharmacological regulatory network of TCM using Cytoscape.The protein interaction network map for the key target genes was constructed using the String database, and the relevant proteins were selected to download the three-dimensional structures of the active ingredients from the PubChem database, and molecular docking was performed using AutoDockvina software.Twelve 3-week-old guinea pigs were induced with lens-induced myopia (LIM) in the right eye and randomly divided into normal saline group and sodium danshensu group, with 6 animals in each group.During the maintenance of LIM, periocular injection of 1 ml normal saline or sodium danshensu was performed daily.The contralateral eye was used as a negative control.On days 0, 14, and 28 of the experiment, the axial length of both eyes was measured by A-scan ultrasonography, and the refractive status was assessed with a streak retinoscope.To avoid individual differences, relative spherical equivalent (treated eye-contralateral eye) and relative axial length (treated eye-contralateral eye) were compared.On day 28, the relative expression levels of hypoxia-inducible factor-1α (HIF-1α) and transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1) proteins were determined by Western blot.The feeding and use of laboratory animals followed the 3R principle, and the research program was approved by the Ethics Committee of Experimental Animal Center of Zhengzhou University (No.ZZU-LAC 202320405[02]). Results:Sixteen intersecting key targets were screened for myopia and TCM components derived from Salvia divinorum.A TCM network pharmacology map and protein interaction map were constructed with Salvia divinorum as a drug candidate, and the corresponding proteins of target genes, such as MMP2, TGFB1, and MMP9 were screened to perform molecular docking with the active ingredients, such as lignocellulosic acid, danshensu, tanshinone ⅡA, and so on.After 14 days of induction, the relative spherical equivalent and relative axial length were (-4.67±1.03)D and (0.67±0.26)mm in sodium danshensu group, and (-6.30±1.22)D and (1.08±0.34)mm normal saline group, indicating slower myopia progression and axial elongation in sodium danshensu group, and the differences were statistically significant ( t=2.412, P=0.039; t=2.750, P=0.049). The relative expression levels of HIF-1α protein were 0.20±0.01, 1.29±0.05 and 0.63±0.02, and the relative expression levels of TGF-β1 protein were 0.93±0.05, 0.25±0.01 and 0.74±0.05 in the negative control, normal saline and sodium danshensu groups, respectively.The expression of HIF-1α protein was higher in sodium danshensu group than in negative control group but lower than in the normal saline group, and the expression of TGF-β1 protein was lower in sodium danshensu group than in negative control group but higher than in the normal saline group, showing statistically significant differences (all at P<0.05). Conclusions:Natural compounds extracted from Salvia divinorum extracts may serve as potential drug candidates to combat scleral hypoxia and improve scleral extracellular matrix remodeling.

Objective To assess the value of multimodal ultrasonography for diagnosing thyroid nodules—atypia of undetermined significance (AUS) of thyroid imaging reporting and data system (TI-RADS) categories 3 to 5. Methods A total of 90 AUS thyroid nodules in TI-RADS 3-5 categories from 88 patients underwent conventional ultrasonography, ultrasound elastography, superb microvascular imaging, and multimodal ultrasonography at the same time. With fine needle aspiration biopsy results as the gold standard, the methods were compared in terms of the sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, false positive rate (FPR), false negative rate (FNR), and area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) for diagnosing thyroid nodules. Results There were no significant differences between patients with benign and those with malignant thyroid nodules in terms of sex, age, and nodule locations (all P > 0.05), but the proportion of thyroid nodules ≤ 1 cm in diameter was significantly higher for malignant thyroid nodules than for benign thyroid nodules (χ²=9.610, P=0.002). Compared with benign nodules, malignant nodules were significantly more frequent to have low-level echoes or very low-level echoes, a blurred margin, a vertical diameter/horizontal diameter ratio of > 1, and microcalcifications or no calcifications (all P < 0.05). An ultrasound elastography score of ≥ 3 and type III vascularity on superb microvascular imaging indicated a higher possibility of malignant thyroid nodules (both P < 0.001). The multivariable logistic regression analysis showed that the size, echogenicity, margin, and vertical diameter/horizontal diameter ratio, and superb microvascular imaging type of thyroid nodules were not significant markers for benign or malignant thyroid nodules (all P > 0.05), while microcalcifications/no calcifications and an ultrasound elastography score of ≥ 3 were independent risk factors for malignant AUS nodules (both P < 0.05). The diagnostic sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, FPR, and FNR of conventional ultrasonography for AUS nodules were 91.30%, 71.40%, 62.70%, 28.60%, and 8.70%, respectively; the values for ultrasound elastography were 85.50%, 66.70%, 52.20%, 33.30%, and 14.50%, respectively; the values for superb microvascular imaging were 66.70%, 76.20%, 42.90%, 23.80%, and 33.30%, respectively; and the values for multimodal ultrasonography were 75.20%, 92.50%, 67.70%, 24.80%, and 7.50%, respectively. For distinguishing between benign and malignant AUS nodules, the AUC values of conventional ultrasonography, ultrasound elastography, superb microvascular imaging, and multimodal ultrasonography were 0.866, 0.745, 0.774, and 0.918, respectively. Conclusion Multimodal ultrasonography shows better diagnostic efficacy for AUS nodules of TI-RADS 3-5 compared with conventional ultrasonography, ultrasound elastography, and superb microvascular imaging, which can facilitate the malignancy risk stratification and management of AUS thyroid nodules.

ObjectiveTo analyze the research status and trends in low-level occupational benzene exposure. Methods Articles on low-level occupational benzene exposure from Chinese and English journals from January 1st, 2000, to December 31th, 2022 were retrieved using the Web of Science and the China National Knowledge Infrastructure, and a bibliometric analysis was conducted. Results A total of 327 articles were included in the analysis, comprising 216 English articles and 111 Chinese articles. i) The number of articles published in English fluctuates greatly over the years, without a trend of continuous growth or decline. Authors from 359 research institutions in 45 countries and regions have published relevant English articles in 97 kinds of journals, involving 281 grants from 226 foundations. The top three countries in terms of articles amount were the United States, Italy, and China, with 81, 46, and 43 papers, respectively. The English articles mainly focused on mechanistic research at the genetic level, such as hematotoxicity, oxidative stress, and DNA damage. ii) The number of Chinese articles increased gradually after 2012, with the growth peak in 2017. Authors from 127 research institutions in 26 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities published Chinese articles in 51 kinds of journals, involving 154 grants from 78 foundations. Chinese articles tended to focus on benzene-induced hematotoxicity and occupational health damage. Conclusion Most studies on low-level occupational benzene exposure were conducted in China, the United States and Italy, focused on hematotoxicity. Monitoring international research topics and hotspots of the field has certain reference value for related research in China.

Objective:To explore the method of developing a canal-shaped implant template using a combined automatic pre-planning and 3D printing technology, and assess its impact on dose and efficacy improvement.Methods:Retrospective analysis of 15 patients with advanced cervical cancer admitted to the Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Guangxi Medical University from September 2020 to September 2022 was performed. Patients had characteristics such as vaginal stump recurrence, tumor eccentric growth, and previous hysterotomy, etc. Three-dimensional images were obtained by CT scan after automatic pre-planning. The PMT 3D software was used to analyze digital imaging and communications in medicine (DICOM) radiotherapy data, capture the coordinates of the pre-planned stay points to establish the implant channel, and generate the size and shape of the canal-shaped implant template based on patients' physiological structure. Dosimetric parameters, such as conformity index (CI), were evaluated. The changes of tumor size before and after treatment were analyzed by paired t-test. Results:Fifteen patients were treated with the canal-shaped implant template. The CI was 0.74±0.26, the total radiation dose (HR-CTV) D 90% (EQD 2, α/β=10) was (85.5±6.8) Gy, and the D 2 cm3 (EQD 2, α/β=3)for bladder, rectum, small intestine, and colon were (72.2±4.2), (65.8±6.1), (65.2±4.4), and (69.8±3.7) Gy, respectively, meeting clinical needs. After the treatment, the tumor volume was significantly decreased. The template had a good fit with the vaginal cavity, and a small amount of air gap on the sidewall did not affect the dose. Non-parallel needle insertion increased the utilization of the cavity space and implant needles. Conclusion:The method of developing the canal-shaped implant template using automatic pre-planning and 3D printing technology is efficient and effective, meets the requirements of modern precise radiotherapy, and has practical clinical value.

OBJECTIVE：To investigate the effects of rabepr azole on the pharmacokinetic characteristics of clopidogrel and its active metabolite in healthy volunteers with different CYP2C19 genotypes. METHODS ：Healthy volunteers were selected as subjects，and then randomly divided into extensive metabolizer （EM）group，intermediate metabolizer （IM）group，and poor metabolizer（PM）group with 8 subjects in each group ，according to their CYP2C19 genotypes by random number table. In single-dose，randomized，open，two-cycle-crossover design ，each group was given Clopidogrel bisulfate tablets 300 mg or Clopidogrel bisulfate tablets 300 mg+Rabeprazole sodium enteric-coated tablets 20 mg. UPLC-MS/MS method was adopted to detect the concentration of clopidogrel and its active metabolite derivative （MP-H4）. The pharmacokinetic parameters were calculated and compared by DAS 2.0 software. RESULTS ：There was no statistical significance in clinical data as age ，height， body weight ，liver enzymes and serum creatinine among 3 kinds of metabolism subjects （P＞0.05）. Compared with subjects receiving clopidogrel alone ，cmax and AUC 0－t of clopidogrel of subjects combined with rabeprazole in EM group were increased by 36％ and 27％，while those of MP-H 4 were decreased by 34％ and 28％（P＜0.01）；cmax and AUC 0－t of clopidogrel of subjects combined with rabeprazole in IM group were increased by 19％ and 18％，while those of MP-H 4 were decreased by 19％ and 16％ （P＜0.05 or P＜0.01）；there was no statistical significance in cmax and AUC 0－t of clopidogrel and MP-H 4 in PM group after receiving rabeprazole additionally as well as tmax of clopidogrel and MP-H 4 in all metablism subjects ，compared with clopidogrel alone（P＞0.05）. CONCLUSIONS ：Among CYP2C19 EM and IM subjects ，combined use of rabeprazole can significantly increase the exposure of clopidogrel and decrease the exposure of its active metabolite MP-H 4，but has no significant impact on clopidogrel and its active metabolite in CYP2C19 PM subjects.

Objective:To study the effect of sedative combined with cis-atracurium in rapid induction intubation in emergency department.Methods:From October 15, 2017 to April 15, 2019, 52 critically ill patients who needed tracheal intubation in emergency department of the People's Hospital of Changzhi were selected.And the patients were numbered according to the time sequence of enrollment, and then randomly divided into group A and group B according to the random number table, with 26 cases in each group.Group A was given sedatives combined with cis-atracurium to induce rapid intubation.Group B only received sedatives to induce intubation.The success rate of intubation, successful intubation time were compared between the two groups.Before and after endotracheal intubation, the heart rate, mean arterial blood pressure, pulse oxygen concentration and the change of catecholamine concentration were compared.Results:The success rate of intubation in group A was 100.0%, which in group B was 76.9%, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (χ 2=12.15, P<0.05). The time required for successful intubation in group A was (5.2±0.8)s, which in group B was (8.5±2.5)s, the difference was statistically significant (χ 2=6.41, P<0.05). After intubation, the pulse oxygen concentration in group A was significantly increased compared with before intubation ( t=-7.99, P<0.05). After intubation, the heart rate, mean arterial pressure, and serum norepinephrine, dopamine levels in group A were reduced compared with before intubation, but there were no statistically significant differences (all P>0.05). The serum adrenaline level was higher compared with before intubation, but there was no statistically significant difference ( t=-1.03, P>0.05). In group B, the pulse oxygen concentration was significantly increased after intubation compared with before intubation ( t=5.74, P<0.05), but the heart rate, mean arterial pressure, and the change of blood catecholamine concentration levels in group B had no statistically significant differences ( P>0.05). Conclusion:In the airway management of critically ill patients in emergency department, the application of sedatives combined with cis-atracurium to rapidly induce intubation can improve the hypoxia symptoms of patients more rapidly and can keep patients' hemodynamics, catecholamine concentration is relatively stable, it has the characteristics of safety and efficiency.

Objective To explore the effect of robot assistance on the gait kinematics of hemiplegic persons after a stroke.Methods Forty hemiplegic stroke patients were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group,each of 20.Both groups were given routine neurological medication and rehabilitation training,while the experimental group was additionally provided with 20 minutes of robot-assisted gait training daily,six times a week,for 8 weeks.Before and after the intervention,both groups' motor function,balance,step length and pace were evaluated,as well as their pelvic rotation angles,side inclination,vertical displacement and lateral displacement.The Fugl-Meyer assessment for the lower extremities (FMA-LE) was used along with the Berg balance scale (BBS),the gait analysis system of Biodex Gait Trainer-2 equipment.Results After the treatment,the average FMA-LE score,BBS score,pace and step length of the experimental group were all significantly better than the before the treatment and significantly better than the control group's averages after the treatment.The improvements observed in the pelvic rotation angle,side inclination,vertical displacement and lateral displacement were all significant.Conclusion Robot assistance can usefully supplement routine rehabilitation training after stroke.It can improve control of the pelvis,enhance walking and balance and generally improve the motor function of the lower extremities.

Objective To evaluate the correlation between standardized uptake value (SUV) measured on 18F-FDG PET/CT scan and residual tumor after argon-helium knife cryoablation.Methods The clinical data of 40 patients with hepatic or pulmonary malignant tumors,who were treated with argon-helium knife cryoablation during the period from March 2008 to December 2015 at authors' hospital,were collected.18FFDG PET/CT scan was performed both before and after the treatment,and the SUV values of each patient were calculated.The data were analyzed based on the pathological findings and clinical follow-up results.Results A total of 42 lesions were detected in the 40 patients.After treatment,radionuclide concentration was demonstrated in 38 lesions,and 16 lesions were proved to be the tumor residual by follow-up imaging and pathological examination.In other 22 lesions the radionuclide concentration was due to inflammatory response.The SUV value of the tumor residual was strikingly higher than that of the inflammatory response (6.13±1.21 vs.2.64±0.96,P＜0.05).The group with low SUV value had a lower recurrence rate (P=0.020) and a higher survival rate (P=0.039).The tumor survival rate of the low SUV value group was significantly lower than that of the group with high SUV value (x2=14.994,P=0.000 2).Conclusion 18F-FDG PET/CT imaging has unique value in promptly detecting marginal residual lesion after argon-helium knife cryoablation,which provides useful information for the evaluation of cryoablation effect as well as for the making of further therapeutic plan.

Objective To explore value of detecting fetal thymus size with the thymic-thoracic ratio (TT-ratio).Methods Prenatal ultrasonography examinations were performed on totally 317 normal singleton healthy pregnancies from 18 to 39 gestational weeks.The normal thymus of fetus were observed on the three-vessel-trachea (3VT) view.The anteroposterior diameter of the thymus (T1) was measured between the anterior border of the aortic arch and posterior border of sternum.The intrathoracic mediastinal diameter (T2) was measured between the anterior border of thoracic vertebral body and posterior border of sternum.The TT-ratio was then calculated as the ratio of T1 to T2.Scatter plot between TT-ratio and gestational age was drawn.And the Spearman regression analysis was performed.Results The thymus of fetus was shown as an irregular homogenous structure in the anterior mediastinum on the 3VT view.The mean TT-ratio was 0.45± 0.03.There was no correlation between TT-ratio and gestation (rs =0.06,P=0.29).Conclusion Prenatal ultrasound can display the thymus obviously.TT-ratio could be applied to assess the fetal thymus size,which can provides clinical basis for the detection of absent or hypoplastic thymus in fetus.
