Colon cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors worldwide. When the conventional treatment methods provide survival benefits for patients, their side effects and limitations cannot be ignored. Many traditional Chinese medicines has attracted much attention from scholars at home and abroad because of its anti-tumor advantages of multi-target,multi-pathway and less toxic side effects. Many Chinese medicines and the active components extracted from them, represented by flavonoids, phenols and alkaloids, have played an effective role in anti-tumor.There mechanism is related to inhibiting tumor cell proliferation, inducing apoptosis, regulate autophagy, inhibiting tumor cell invasion and metastasis, inhibiting tumor angiogenesis. In this paper, the mechanism of inhibiting colon cancer by effective components of traditional Chinese medicine in recent years was reviewed in order to provide reference for the clinical treatment of colon cancer.

Objective To understand the cognition status of medical scientific research ethics review norms among physicians in tertiary hospitals and the factors influencing their awareness. Methods A survey was conducted using a questionnaire.A total of 2 067 questionnaires were distributed to physicians in tertiary hospitals in Henan Province, with an effective response rate of 81.95%.Results(1)Physicians'awareness rate of Regulations on Ethical Review of Biomedical Research Involving Human Subjects reached 69.01%,while that of Opinions on Strengthening Ethical Governance in Science and Technology was only 34.30%.A total of 310 respondents were aware of all six medical research ethics-related regulations.(2)1 153 respondents were familiar with all four basic principles of medical ethics.(3)78.98%of physicians had received training in medical research ethics knowledge.Learning through medical school and special lectures made it easier for physicians to understand medical research ethics knowledge(P<0.05).(4)The results of binary logistic regression analysis showed that educational level, membership in an ethics committee, and receipt of ethics training significantly influenced physicians'understanding of medical research ethics knowledge(P<0.05).Conclusion Physicians have low awareness of newly issued medical research ethics review norms, targeted training is needed to enhance physicians'research ethics literacy.

10.Advance in the histopathological research of internal limiting membrane
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2023;41(1):84-87
The internal limiting membrane located at vitreoretinal interface is formed by the contiguous basement membranes of Müller cells.Nowadays, vitrectomy combined with internal limiting membrane peeling has been widely used in many operations involving macular area.Although its clinical efficacy and safety have been demonstrated, it lacks the necessary histological support. At the same time, many studies have shown that the internal limiting membrane plays different roles in the occurrence of different diseases.Current studies have found that the proliferation of inflammatory cells, glial cells and vitreous cells leads to the physiological dysfunction of the vitreoretinal interface, and the internal limiting membrane can also become a scaffold for the proliferation of myofibroblasts, which will lead to the occurrence of macular diseases. This article reviewed the histological research of internal limiting membrane in terms of diabetic retinopathy, idiopathic macular hole and idiopathic macular epiretinal membrane, hoping to better understand the internal limiting membrane under pathological conditions and to confirm the safety and necessity of internal limiting membrane peeling from ultrastructure.
