The oxytocin receptor (OXTR) has garnered increasing attention for its role in regulating both mature behaviors and brain development. It has been established that OXTR mediates a range of effects that are region-specific or period-specific. However, the current studies of OXTR expression patterns in mice only provide limited help due to limitations in resolution. Therefore, our objective was to generate a comprehensive, high-resolution spatiotemporal expression map of Oxtr mRNA across the entire developing mouse brain. We applied RNAscope in situ hybridization to investigate the spatiotemporal expression pattern of Oxtr in the brains of male mice at six distinct postnatal developmental stages (P7, P14, P21, P28, P42, P56). We provide detailed descriptions of Oxtr expression patterns in key brain regions, including the cortex, basal forebrain, hippocampus, and amygdaloid complex, with a focus on the precise localization of Oxtr+ cells and the variance of expression between different neurons. Furthermore, we identified some neuronal populations with high Oxtr expression levels that have been little studied, including glutamatergic neurons in the ventral dentate gyrus, Vgat+Oxtr+ cells in the basal forebrain, and GABAergic neurons in layers 4/5 of the cortex. Our study provides a novel perspective for understanding the distribution of Oxtr and encourages further investigations into its functions.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2022;43(8):1249-1253
Objective:
To improve the social skills of children with ASD by using Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills(PEERS ), and to reduce the uncertainty towards ASD and negative emotions for mothers of ASD children.
Methods:
From September to October 2017, 30 dyads of autistic mother and child were recruited and divided into intervention group and control group (15 mother child dyads each). Based on the content of PEERS social skill, cognitive behavior therapy was delivered in group format, through demonstration, role play and group exercise. At the same time, mother child dyads were trained using parallel social technology. Mothers and children with ASD were investigated using Parents Perception of Uncertainty Scale (PPUS), Patient Health Questionnaire 9 (PHQ-9), Chinese Version of the Beck Depression Inventory II(BDI-Ⅱ-C), Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI), State Trait Anxiety Inventory(STAI-Form Y), and Autism Behavior Checklist (ABC), Cildhood Autism Rating Scale (CARS), and Social Communication Questionnaire (SCQ).
Results:
Changes in ASD symptom score in children and emotional score of mothers in the intervention group were less than 0. The total score of mother disease uncertainty(74.93±13.58, 90.40± 9.21 ), ambiguity(31.13±7.07, 38.93±4.73), lack of clarity information(11.93±2.09, 13.80±2.54), unpredictability(9.60±1.99, 12.07±2.89), significantly changed after intervention( t =-3.65, -3.55, -2.20, -2.72, P <0.05).
Conclusion
Social PEERS group intervention can enhance the social skills of children with ASD, reduce uncertainty of illness among mother of ASD children. Timely disease related information, guidance for mothers to actively participate in child care and training, might help to reduce cognitive bias, depressive and anxiety symptoms among mothers.

Objective To study the trends in surgical treatment and the outcomes of critical acute pancreatitis (CAP).Methods The clinical data of 76 patients with CAP who were treated in the Department of Biliopancreatic Surgery of the Xiangya Hospital,Central South University from January 2010 to December 2017 were retrospectively reviewed.Data which included demographics,micro-organisms,surgical interventions and mortality were compared between the time periods of 2010 to 2013 and 2014 to 2017.Results Before 2014,19 patients with CAP were treated in the Department of Biliopancreatic Surgery of the Xiangya Hospital,Central South University. The percentage of multidrug resistant organisms (MDRO) in pancreatic drainage was 5.3% (1/19).In the latter 4 years,57 patients with CAP were treated. The percentage of MDRO was 50.9% (29/57),which was significandy higher than the initial 4 years (P<0.001).For surgical treatment, the proportion of minimally invasive surgery in the latter 4 years was significantly higher than that in the initial 4 years. The percentage of percutaneous catheter drainage (PCD) increased from 63.2% in the initial 4 years to 86.0% in the latter 4 years. The proportion of minimal access retroperitoneal pancreatic necrosectomy (MARPN) increased from zero in the initial 4 years to 59.6%,while the proportion of open pancreatic necrosectomy (OPN) decreased from 68.4% in the initial 4 years to 24.6%.The mortality rate of patients with CAP dropped from 52.6% (10/19) in the initial 4 years to 24.6% (14/57) in the latter four years. Conclusions In the center which specializes in treating pancreatitis, although the problem of bacterial resistance had become increasingly prominent, the mortality rate of CAP had shown a significant downward trend due to the development of various minimally invasive techniques.

Objective To analyze the influences of lacrimal secretion and tear film after interferon-alpha therapy in patients with chronic viral hepatitis. Methods Sixty patients with chronic viral hepatitis who would accept the interferon-alpha therapy, including 30 cases of hepatitis B and 30 chronic viral hepatitis C,visited our department of ophthalmology and were enrolled in this study. All cases received eye examination, including medical history, slit lamp examination, corneal fluorescein staining ( FL) ,tear film break-up time ( BUT) and schirmer test before inter-feron-alpha therapy and two months after the therapy. Results In the 60 cases of chronic viral hepatitis, there were 19 dry eye cases (31.67%) and 41 non-dry eye cases (68.33%).In dry eyes group,9 of them (47.37%) were hepatitis B patients and 10 of them were hepatitis C patients (52.63%) .There was significant difference in FL grade (t=-5.288,P<0.05),BUT (t=5.799,P<0.05),Schirmer Ⅰ(t=5.319,P<0.05) test in hepatitis B before and two months after interferon-alpha therapy.Statistical significance had been found before and two months after therapy in FL grade (t=-9.103,P<0.05),BUT (t=5.682,P<0.05),SchirmerⅠtest (t=4.592,P<0.05). The incidence of dry eye syndrome in hepatitis B patients increased from 26.70%to 53.30%two months after treated with interferon-alpha,while the incidence of dry eye syndrome in hepatitis C patients increased from 33.30% to 60.00% two months after treated with interferon-alpha.Conclusion Dry eye syndrome is one of common complica-tions in patients with chronic viral hepatitis.Interferon-alpha therapy would influence the lacrimal secretion and dam-age tear film, which increased the dry symptoms in patients. We should pay attention to the side effects of interferon-alpha therapy.
