Objective:To translate the Breast-feeding Social Support Scale (BSSS) into Chinese and to test its reliability and validity.Methods:This study was a cross-sectional study. The scale was sinicized using guideline for the cultural adjustment process recommended by American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Evidence Based Medicine Committee. Using cluster sampling method, a total of 535 puerpera registered in 17 community health service centers in four communities of Chengde City were selected as the research objects from April to August 2023 to evaluate the reliability and validity of the scale. Critical ratio method and correlation coefficient method were used to analyze the item analysis of the scale. Internal consistency reliability, split-half reliability and retest reliability were used to test the reliability of the scale. The content validity index of item level and content validity index of scale level were used to test the content validity of the scale. Exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were used to test the structural validity of the scale.Results:A total of 535 questionnaires were sent out in this study, and 521 were effectively collected, with an effective recovery rate of 97.4% (521/535). The Chinese version of BSSS consisted of 11 items, and three common factors were extracted from the exploratory factors, and the cumulative variance contribution rate was 63.183%. The results of confirmatory factor analysis showed that the structural model of the three factors fit well. The Cronbach's α coefficient of the total scale was 0.866, the retest reliability coefficient was 0.815 and the split-half reliability coefficient was 0.813. The content validity index at the item level of the scale was 0.830-1.000, and the content validity index at the scale level was 0.820.Conclusions:The Chinese version of BSSS has good reliability and validity, which can be used as an evaluation tool for the social support level of breast-feeding in China.

Objective To visually analyze the Chinese and English literature in the research field of Cistanches Herba through bibliometrics;To understand the research status and hotspots of Cistanches Herba;To provide reference for the related research.Methods Literature related to Cistanches Herba in CNKI and Web of Science core databases from January 1,2002 to December 31,2022 was retrieved.VOSviewer 1.6.18 was used for co-occurrence clustering and temporal overlay analysis of authors and keywords,while CiteSpace 6.1.R2 was used for keyword burst analysis.Results Totally 1 631 articles were included,including 1 481 Chinese articles and 150 English articles,and the overall number of publications was on the rise.This field has formed research teams represented by Guo Yuhai from Zhejiang Sci-Tech University,Tu Pengfei from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine,and Chen Jun and Xu Rong from Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences.High frequency keywords included Cistanches Herba,echinoside,phenylethanolside,high performance liquid chromatography,cistanche polysaccharide,artificial cultivation,anti-fatigue,etc.Conclusion The research in this field mainly focuses on TCM therapy,clinical study,etiology and pathogenesis.Network pharmacology,molecular biology,data mining and so on may become the focus of future research of Cistanches Herba.

Traumatic supraorbital fissure syndrome (TSOFS) is a symptom complex caused by nerve entrapment in the supraorbital fissure after skull base trauma. If the compressed cranial nerve in the supraorbital fissure is not decompressed surgically, ptosis, diplopia and eye movement disorder may exist for a long time and seriously affect the patients′ quality of life. Since its overall incidence is not high, it is not familiarized with the majority of neurosurgeons and some TSOFS may be complicated with skull base vascular injury. If the supraorbital fissure surgery is performed without treatment of vascular injury, it may cause massive hemorrhage, and disability and even life-threatening in severe cases. At present, there is no consensus or guideline on the diagnosis and treatment of TSOFS that can be referred to both domestically and internationally. To improve the understanding of TSOFS among clinical physicians and establish standardized diagnosis and treatment plans, the Skull Base Trauma Group of the Neurorepair Professional Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Neurotrauma Group of the Neurosurgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, Neurotrauma Group of the Traumatology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, and Editorial Committee of Chinese Journal of Trauma organized relevant experts to formulate Chinese expert consensus on the diagnosis and treatment of traumatic supraorbital fissure syndrome ( version 2024) based on evidence of evidence-based medicine and clinical experience of diagnosis and treatment. This consensus puts forward 12 recommendations on the diagnosis, classification, treatment, efficacy evaluation and follow-up of TSOFS, aiming to provide references for neurosurgeons from hospitals of all levels to standardize the diagnosis and treatment of TSOFS.

Objective To explore the efficacy and safety of recombinant human anti-severe acute respiratory syn-drome coronavirus 2(anti-SARS-CoV-2)monoclonal antibody injection(F61 injection)in the treatment of patients with coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)combined with renal damage.Methods Patients with COVID-19 and renal damage who visited the PLA General Hospital from January to February 2023 were selected.Subjects were randomly divided into two groups.Control group was treated with conventional anti-COVID-19 therapy,while trial group was treated with conventional anti-COVID-19 therapy combined with F61 injection.A 15-day follow-up was conducted after drug administration.Clinical symptoms,laboratory tests,electrocardiogram,and chest CT of pa-tients were performed to analyze the efficacy and safety of F61 injection.Results Twelve subjects(7 in trial group and 5 in control group)were included in study.Neither group had any clinical progression or death cases.The ave-rage time for negative conversion of nucleic acid of SARS-CoV-2 in control group and trial group were 3.2 days and 1.57 days(P=0.046),respectively.The scores of COVID-19 related target symptom in the trial group on the 3rd and 5th day after medication were both lower than those of the control group(both P＜0.05).According to the clinical staging and World Health Organization 10-point graded disease progression scale,both groups of subjects improved but didn't show statistical differences(P＞0.05).For safety,trial group didn't present any infusion-re-lated adverse event.Subjects in both groups demonstrated varying degrees of elevated blood glucose,elevated urine glucose,elevated urobilinogen,positive urine casts,and cardiac arrhythmia,but the differences were not statistica-lly significant(all P＞0.05).Conclusion F61 injection has initially demonstrated safety and clinical benefit in trea-ting patients with COVID-19 combined with renal damage.As the domestically produced drug,it has good clinical accessibility and may provide more options for clinical practice.

Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect and mechanism of Chaihu Guizhi Ganjiang Decoction on non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)rats.Methods The experiment was conducted in five groups:normal group,model group,low-and high-dose groups of Chinese medicine(Chaihu Guizhi Ganjiang Decoction)and GSK872[receptor interacting protein kinase(RIP)3 inhibitor]group.Except for the normal group,the NAFLD rat model was constructed using high-fat chow feeding method in the remaining groups,respectively.At the end of treatment,hepatocyte apoptosis was observed by terminal transferase uridyl nick end labeling(TUNEL)method,and serum levels of alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),lipids[total cholesterol(TC),triglycerides(TG),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)],and the levels of inflammatory factors tumor necrosis factor α(TNF-α)and interleukin 1β(IL-1β)in liver tissues were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA);and the levels of phosphorylation of RIP1,RIP3,and mixed lineage kinase structural domain-like protein(MLKL)were detected in liver tissues by Western Blot.Results Compared with the normal group,the apoptotic index of rat hepatocytes in the model group was elevated,ALT and AST in serum were significantly elevated,TC,TG and LDL-C levels were significantly elevated,and HDL-C level was significantly reduced,and the contents of TNF-α and IL-1β as well as the phosphorylated expression levels of RIP1,RIP3 and MLKL were significantly elevated in the liver tissues(P＜0.05);compared with the model group,the apoptotic index of hepatocytes in rats in the low-and high-dose groups of Chinese medicine and GSK872 group was reduced,the serum levels of ALT and AST were significantly reduced,the levels of TC,TG and LDL-C were significantly reduced,the level of HDL-C was significantly increased,and the contents of TNF-α and IL-1β and the phosphorylated expressions of RIP1,RIP3 and MLKL in the liver tissues were significantly reduced(P＜0.05);there was no significant difference in the above-mentioned indexes between the low-dose and high-dose groups of Chinese medicine and the GSK872 group(P＞0.05).Conclusion Chaihu Guizhi Ganjiang Decoction can effectively improve NAFLD in rats,and its mechanism may be related to the inhibition of RIP1/RIP3/MLKL signaling pathway activation,which in turn inhibits necrotic apoptosis.

Uncovering the risk factors of pulmonary hypertension and its mechanisms is crucial for the prevention and treatment of the disease.In the current study,we showed that experimental periodontitis,which was established by ligation of molars followed by orally smearing subgingival plaques from patients with periodontitis,exacerbated hypoxia-induced pulmonary hypertension in mice.Mechanistically,periodontitis dysregulated the pulmonary microbiota by promoting ectopic colonization and enrichment of oral bacteria in the lungs,contributing to pulmonary infiltration of interferon gamma positive(IFNγ+)T cells and aggravating the progression of pulmonary hypertension.In addition,we identified Prevotella zoogleoformans as the critical periodontitis-associated bacterium driving the exacerbation of pulmonary hypertension by periodontitis,and the exacerbation was potently ameliorated by both cervical lymph node excision and IFNγ neutralizing antibodies.Our study suggests a proof of concept that the combined prevention and treatment of periodontitis and pulmonary hypertension are necessary.

Objective To investigate whether Heshouwuyin can delay the aging of Leydig cells in rat testis through DNA methyltransferase 1(DNMT1).Methods Totally 40 male Wistar rats were randomly divided into 4 groups,with 10 rats in each group.Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression levels of DNMT1 in testis tissue of rats.Testosterone content in serum of rats in each group was detected by ELISA test.A rat Leydig cell aging model was established by free radical oxidative damage.DNMT1 was knocked down by lentivirus in Leydig cells,and the cell senescence status and the testosterone content and testosterone synthesis key enzyme 3β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase(3β-HSD),cytochrome P450 family member 11A1(CYP11A1)content secreted by cells were detected by β-galactosidase(β-GAL)staining,immunofluorescenct staining and ELISA.Results Compared with the young control group(YCG),the expression of P16 protein and the positive rate of β-GAL in the testis tissue of rats in the natural aging group(NAG)increased significantly,and the expression of DNMT1 and serum testosterone levels decreased(P＜0.05).However,after Heshouwuyin intervention,the expression of P16 protein and the positive rate of β-GAL in the testis of aging rats were reduced,and DNMT1 expression and the serum testosterone levels increased(P＜0.05).The same trend was observed in Leydig cells.Knockdown of DNMT1 in Leydig cells,β-GAL positivity and P16 protein expression increased significantly,and testosterone secretion and testosterone synthesis key enzymes 3β-HSD,CYP11A1 content from Leydig cells decreased significantly,compared with the normal control group(NCG)(P＜0.05).When Heshouwuyin was added,the above phenomenon was improved.Conclusion Heshouwuyin can delay the aging of rat Leydig cells through DNMT1.

Background: Gut microbiota is closely related to the occurrence and development of diabetes and affects the prognosis of diabetic complications, and the underlying mechanisms are only partially understood. We aimed to explore the possible link between the gut microbiota and vascular inflammation of diabetic mice. Methods: The db/db diabetic and wild-type (WT) mice were used in this study. We profiled gut microbiota and examined the and vascular function in both db/db group and WT group. Gut microbiota was analyzed by 16s rRNA sequencing. Vascular function was examined by ultrasonographic hemodynamics and histological staining. Clostridium butyricum (CB) was orally administered to diabetic mice by intragastric gavage every 2 days for 2 consecutive months. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) and expression of nuclear factor erythroid-derived 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) and heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) were detected by fluorescence microscopy. The mRNA expression of inflammatory cytokines was tested by quantitative polymerase chain reaction. Results: Compared with WT mice, CB abundance was significantly decreased in the gut of db/db mice, together with compromised vascular function and activated inflammation in the arterial tissue. Meanwhile, ROS in the vascular tissue of db/db mice was also significantly increased. Oral administration of CB restored the protective microbiota, and protected the vascular function in the db/db mice via activating the Nrf2/HO-1 pathway. Conclusion This study identified the potential link between decreased CB abundance in gut microbiota and vascular inflammation in diabetes. Therapeutic delivery of CB by gut transplantation alleviates the vascular lesions of diabetes mellitus by activating the Nrf2/HO-1 pathway.

Objective     To summarize the characteristics of children diagnosed with secondary subaortic stenosis after the surgical closure for ventricular septal defect and explore its potential mechanism. Methods     We retrospectively collected patients aged from 0 to 18 years, who underwent ventricular septal defect closure and developed secondary subaortic stenosis, and subsequently received surgical repair from 2008 to 2019 in Fuwai Hospital. Their surgical details, morphological features of the subaortic stenosis, and the follow-up information were analyzed. Results     Six patients, including 2 females and 4 males, underwent the primary ventricular septal defect closure at the median age of 9 months (ranging from 1 month to 3 years). After the first surgery, patients were diagnosed with secondary subaortic stenosis after 2.9 years (ranging from 1 to 137 months). Among them, 2 patients underwent the second surgery immediately after diagnosis, and the other 4 patients waited 1.2 years (ranging from 6 to 45 months) for the second surgery. The most common type of the secondary subaortic stenosis after ventricular septal defect closure was discrete membrane, which located underneath the aortic valve and circles as a ring. In some patients, subaortic membrane grew along with the ventricular septal defect closure patch. During the median follow-up of 8.1 years (ranging from 7.3 to 8.9 years) after the sencond surgery, all patients recovered well without any recurrence of left ventricular outflow tract obstruction. Conclusion     Regular and persistent follow-up after ventricular septal defect closure combining with or without other cardiac malformation is the best way to diagnose left ventricular outflow tract obstruction in an early stage and stop the progression of aortic valve regurgitation.

ObjectiveTo explore the therapeutic effect and mechanism of Yiqi Huoxue Tongbian prescription on slow transit constipation （STC） in rats. MethodThe rat model of STC was established by gavage of loperamide hydrochloride. Rats were assigned into control， model， mosapride， low-， medium-， and high-dose （3.51， 7.02， and 14.04 g·kg^-1， respectively） Yiqi Huoxue Tongbian prescription groups. The changes of general signs， fecal moisture content， and intestinal propulsion rate were measured after model establishment and drug administration. The colonic mucosal changes were observed by hematoxylin eosin staining. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was employed to determine the content of substance P （SP） and vasoactive intestinal peptide （VIP） in the colon of rats in each group. The gray values of aquaporin （AQP） 3， AQP4， AQP8， and c-Kit in rat colon tissue were measured by immunohistochemistry and Western blot， and the changes of intestinal flora were detected by 16S rRNA high-throughput sequencing. ResultCompared with the model group， 10 days of treatment with Yiqi Huoxue Tongbian prescription increased the fecal moisture content and intestinal propulsion rate （P<0.01）. The medium- and high-dose Yiqi Huoxue Tongbian prescription groups and the mosapride group showed no obvious mucosal inflammation and neat arrangement of goblet cells with a large number in the colon tissue. Moreover， the three groups showed increased SP content （P<0.01） and decreased VIP content （P<0.01） in the serum. The medium- and high-dose Yiqi Huoxue Tongbian prescription groups showed down-regulated protein levels of AQP3， AQP4， and AQP8 （P<0.01） and up-regulated protein level of c-Kit （P<0.01）. The drug administration groups presented slightly increased observed species， Chao1， ACE， and Shannon， Simpson， and PD whole tree. The principal component analysis showed that the control group had a short distance with the high- and medium-dose Yiqi Huoxue Tongbian prescription groups， indicating that high- and medium-dose Yiqi Huoxue Tongbian prescription can recover the intestinal flora to that in the control group. ConclusionYiqi Huoxue Tongbian prescription can alleviate the defecation status of rats with slow transit constipation by down-regulating the expression of AQP3， AQP4， and AQP8 to reduce the absorption of water in the intestine， up-regulating the expression of c-Kit to increase the number and distribution of Cajal interstitial cells， and regulating the balance of flora in the colon tissue.
