Objective To explore the value of diffusion kurtosis imaging(DKI)in the diagnosis of Parkinson's disease with mild cognitive impairment(PD-MCI)patients.Methods A total of 18 patients with Parkinson's disease cognitive normal(PDN),22 patients with PD-MCI,and 24 healthy controls(HC)were prospectively included. All participants underwent DKI,and regions of interest(ROI)were selected in the substantia nigra, red nucleus, striatum, and posterior cingulate gyrus for post-processing.The diagnostic efficacy of DKI parameters on PD patients' cognitive status was analyzed by the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve. Results Compared with the PDN group, the PD-MCI group had a longer disease duration and a higher H-Y stage.Compared with the HC group, the PD-MCI group showed significantly lower mean kurtosis(MK),radial kurtosis(RK),axial kurtosis(AK),and fractional anisotropy(FA)values in the substantia nigra and posterior cingulate gyrus. In the PDN group,FA and MK values in the substantia nigra were significantly decreased, while FA values in the striatum and posterior cingulate gyrus were significantly increased(P<0.05).Compared with the PDN group, the PD-MCI group showed significantly decreased DKI parameter values in the substantia nigra and posterior cingulate gyrus, and significantly decreased RK,AK,and FA values in the striatum(P<0.05).The FA values of striatum, posterior cingulate gyrus and joint predictors were the most effective in the diagnosis of PD-MCI and the area under the curve(AUC)were 0.826,0.853 and 0.960,respectively.Conclusion DKI can detect microstructural changes in PD patients.Microstructural alterations in the striatum and posterior cingulate gyrus have an impact on early cognitive function changes in PD patients.FA demonstrate high sensitivity and specificity in the diagnosis of PD-MCI,and the combined diagnostic efficacy across multiple regions is even higher.

Objective To observe safety and efficacy of intrauterine device MYCu IUD that releases indomethacin. Methods In total, 2000 women requiring IUD for contraception were chosen from domestic multiple clinical centers according to an unified standard. MYCu IUD and TCu380A IUD were randomly inserted for 1000 women each, respectively. All women were regularly followed-up one, three, six and 12 months after insertion. Results All the women were followed-up for 11 985.9 and 11 753.6 person-months in MYCu IUD and TCu380A IUD groups, respectively, with cumulative IUD application rates of 97. 80% and 94. 70%, and cumulative pregnancy rates with IUD of 0. 10% and 0. 31%, respectively. Cumulative expulsion (or partial expulsion) rate in MYCu IUD group was 0. 10%, significantly lower than that in TCu380A IUD one (1.73%), P <0. 01, and cumulative removal rate due to medical reasons (bleeding or pain) was 1.51 % and 2. 94%, respectively, P < 0. 05. Rate of IUD-associated termination and overall rate of termination differed significantly between the two groups, P <0. 01. Adverse reactions one, three, six and twelve months after IUD insertion included irregular bleeding, prolonged menstruation, increased menstrual blood volume and pain, less in indomethacin-containing MYCu IUD group than those in TCu380A IUD without containing it, P < 0. 01. Conclusions MYCu IUD is a comparatively ideal IUD that should be promoted for extensive use, with extremely low expulsion rate, good contraceptive effect, convenience and safety in insertion and removal, and less adverse effects.

Objective: To identify the differential proteins in the serum with anti-asthma activity of acupuncture to pinpoint the substance basis of anti-asthma activity of acupuncture by proteomics method. Methods: Two-dimensional electrophoresis of protein was employed to analyze the differential proteins in the serum with anti-asthma activity of acupuncture, and identify the differential proteins with mass spectrum technique. Results: In adrenalectomy (ADX)-asthma acupuncture group and asthma acupuncture group, two-dimensional electrophoresis showed that there was an obvious fuscous point (MW=44.1kD, PI=5.1), which was 60S ribosomal protein L13, or hypothetical protein FLJ32191 analyzed by mass spectrum technique, different from other groups. In ADX-asthma acupuncture group, there were two obviously fuscous points (MW=39.SkD, PI=4.9 and MW=39.SkD, PI=5.0), which were zinc finger protein 208, and thyroid hormone receptor-associated protein analyzed by mass spectrum technique, and two special proteins (MW=17.3kD, PI<4.5 and 16.9kD, PI<4.5), which were Cyclophilin A and zinc finger protein 91 analyzed by mass spectrum technique, different from other groups. Conclusion: There are multi-target effects regulating the whole body in acupuncture treating asthma relating to immunoloregulation, gene expression, and protein synthesization. The effects of acupuncture on the response proteins need further research.

Objective:To discuss the effects of Rhodosin, the extractant of medical plants na med Rhodiola Sachinonsis A.Bor,on aging rats and the model rats of Alzheier′s d isease (AD).Methods:Step down and water maze tests were used to determine the content of ace tylcholine (Ach) and the activity of acetylcholine transferase (ChAT) of hippoca mpus, lipid peroxide (LPO) and activity of superoxide dismute (SOD) of the cerebr al cortex, and cerebellar cortex and spinal cord were observed respectively. At th e same time, the general light microscope and eletron microscope were used to obs erve the changes in morphology. Results:The Rhodosin as an antioxidant could enhance the content of Ach and the activity of ChAT,reduce the formation of LPO,and increase activity of SOD.The Rh odosin could facilitate metabolism, enhance activity, and inhibit degeneration of aging rat cells. Conclusion:Rhodosin had obvious anti-aging effects on aing rats and also had p reventive,protective,anti-dementia effects on experimental dementia.

Objective To investigate the clinical distribution and antimicrobial resistance of common gram-positive cocci in author's hospital. Methods Identification of these bacteria were done with API analysis system, disc diffusion tests were employed to study the antimicrobial resistance. Results A total of 25 052 clinical isolates were collected in 8 years,of gram-positive cocci accounted for 7907(31.9%).Staphylococcus aureus(3549 strains,44.9%),enterococcus(1760 strains,22.3%)and coagulase-negative staphylococcus(1558 strains,19.7%)were the most common isolates. The prevalence of MRSA increased from 59.6% in 2001 to 76.3% in 2008,and MRSCoN increased from 64.2% to 77.0%.The resistant rate of MRSA to gentamicin, clindamycin, erythromycin and levofloxacin were over 90%,to trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole and chloramphenicol were less than 20%.The resistant rate of MSSA to gentamicin,levofloxacin,trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole and chloramphenicol were low 20%,and to beta-lactamase antibacterial agents except penicillin were 0.The resistant rates of MRSCoN to all antimicrobial agents were lower than MRSA,but to trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole(71.2%)was higher than MRSA(21.2%).No staphylococcus strains were resistant to vancomycin, teicoplanin and linezolid.2.1% enterococcus feacium and 4.4% other enterococcus were resistant to vancomycin. No strains of enterococcus were found resistant to teicoplanin and linezolid. Conclusion The resistant rate of gram-positive cocci were increasing obviously, the prevalence of MRS was high.Vancomycin, teicoplanin and linezolid were the most active agents against severe infection induced by multidrug-resistant gram-positive cocci.
