Objective: To explore human papillomavirus (HPV) and vaccination related knowledge and vaccination willingness of college students in Guizhou Province and their related factors, so as to provide a basis for formulating targeted intervention strategies. Methods: From May to June 2025, by applying convenience sampling method,4 567 college students were selected from 8 universities in Guizhou Province to conduct a questionnaire survey. Awareness of HPV and vaccination related knowledge, vaccination willingness as well as related factors among college students were also analyzed. The t test and Chi square test were used for comparison between groups, and multifactor Logistic regression was employed to analyze the related factors of HPV vaccination willingness among college students. Results: The HPV and vaccine knowledge score of college students in Guizhou Province was ( 10.50 ±2.09), and the score of girls (10.81±1.82) was higher than that of boys (10.19±2.30) ( t=10.09, P <0.01). The HPV vaccination willingness rate of college students was 65.6%, and the rate was higher in girls than in boys (67.1%,64.1%, χ 2=4.75, P <0.05). Multi factor Logistic regression analysis showed that ethnicity and HPV testing were related factors that affected college students willingness to vaccinate (minority: OR boy =1.23, OR girl =1.35; previous HPV testing: OR boy =0.56, OR girl =0.59); boys willingness to vaccinate was related to the number of sexual partners ( OR =0.60), family history of cancer ( OR =0.65), and sexual behavior related HPV knowledge scores ( OR =0.89), while girls willingness to vaccinate was related to bisexual sexual orientation ( OR =0.59), previous HIV testing ( OR =0.60), and HPV and vaccine basic knowledge scores ( OR =0.86) (all P <0.05). Conclusions College students in Guizhou Province have higher HPV vaccine related knowledge scores and are more willing to vaccinate, and those above are higher in girls than in boys. Health education content should be optimized based on gender differences, and promote the willingness and behavior of HPV vaccination among college students.

Colorectal cancer is one of the common malignant tumors in digestive system,because of its incidence and mortality rates rising annually in China,seriously threating to people's lives and health.Vitamin D plays an im-portant role in inhibiting colorectal cancer by suppressing tumor cell proliferation,promoting tumor cell apoptosis,inhibiting tumor cell migration,invasion,and angiogenesis and also,enhancing the body's immune system.This article summarizes and analyzes the specific mechanisms by which vitamin D inhibits the occurrence and develop-ment of colorectal cancer,and discusses the current progress in research on vitamin D supplementation,providing new references for the early prevention and adjuvant treatment of colorectal cancer.

In combined orthodontic-orthognathic treatment, the maxillary palatine suture is closed in most patients with insufficient maxillary width, and bony expansion of the maxilla cannot be achieved by dental expansion or rapid palatal expansion (RPE) which causes buccal inclination of the maxillary posterior teeth leading to unstable results. Therefore, segmental LeFort Ⅰ osteotomy and surgically assisted RPE are often used in clinical practice. In recent years, with the application of implant anchorage technology, implant anchorage assisted RPE has been gradually applied in orthognathic treatment. This article reviewed the indications, contraindications, complications, efficacy and long-term stability in different treatment approaches including segmental LeFort Ⅰ osteotomy, surgically assisted RPE and implant-supported maxillary skeletal expansion.

Objective Analyze the temporal trend of ischemic stroke(IS)mortality among the residents of Tengzhou City of Shandong Province during the period of hypertension control from 2013 to 2021.Methods On January 1,2013,Tengzhou City,Shandong Province,began its hypertension control program.The IS mortality rate was calculated using the mortality data from January 1,2013 to December 31,2021,and analyzed for its time trend among residents with different characteristics.The registered population was derived from the Public Security Bureau of Tengzhou City,Shandong Province,and the age and sex standardized mortality rate was calculated using the data of China's 7th population census in 2020.The Chi-square test was used to compare the differences in mortality rate,and Cochran-Armitage trend test was used to compare the time trend and age trend of mortality rate.Results The overall crude and standardized mortality rates of IS in Tengzhou showed a temporal trend from 2013 to 2021(Z values were 12.647,7.305,respectively;all P＜0.001),and decreased by 23.77％and 30.99％(Z values were-7.393,-9.975,respectively;all P＜0.001)respectively in 2021 compared with 2019.The crude mortality rate of IS in male increased by 13.27％in 2019 compared with 2017,while the crude and standardized mortality rate in female decreased by 16.39％and 19.49％in 2018 compared with 2017,respectively,with statistical significance(x2 values were 7.160,9.789,and 15.109,respectively;all P＜0.05).Except the crude mortality rates in 2013 and 2015,the crude mortality rates and standardized mortality rates for males in other years were all higher than those for females,with statistically significant differences(x2 values:25.816-124.040,all P＜0.001).The crude mortality rate for IS increased with age in all years(Z values:42.604-61.025,all P＜0.001).The proportion of IS deaths among those aged≥65 was 85.85％.The overall crude mortality rates of the age group of male 45-54 years old showed a temporal trend from 2013 to 2021(Z=3.035,P＜0.01),while females in the same age group did not show a temporal trend(P＞0.05).The IS mortality rate in urban areas decreased from 62.61 per 100 000 in 2013 to 54.00 per 100 000 in 2021(Z=-2.097,P＜0.05).The rural areas increased by 213.15％in 2019 compared with 2013 and decreased by 22.75％in 2021 compared with 2019(Z values were 19.074,-6.390,respectively;all P＜0.001).Conclusions The IS mortality rate in Tengzhou City showed a decreasing trend in urban areas from 2013 to 2021,and a decreasing trend in rural areas after 2019.Compared to females,there is a trend of younger mortality among males in the age range of 45-54.Males and rural IS patients should be given special attention.

Background: Data on the efficacy and incidence of adverse effects associated with dexmedetomidine (DEX) as a local anesthetic adjuvant for patient-controlled epidural analgesia (PCEA) are inconclusive. This meta-analysis assessed the efficacy and risks of DEX for PCEA using opioids as a reference. Methods: Two researchers independently searched PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, and China Biology Medicine for randomized controlled trials comparing DEX and opioids as local anesthetic adjuvants in PCEA. Results: In total, 636 patients from seven studies were included in this meta-analysis. Postoperative patients who received DEX had lower visual analog scale (VAS) scores than those who received opioids at 4–8 h (mean difference [MD]: 0.61, 95% CI [0.45, 0.76], P < 0.001, I2 = 0%), 12 h (MD: 0.85, 95% CI [0.61, 1.09], P < 0.001, I2 = 0%), 24 h (MD: 0.59, 95% CI [0.06, 1.12], P = 0.030, I2 = 82%), and 48 h (MD: 0.54, 95% CI [0.05, 1.02], P = 0.030, I2 = 91%). Additionally, patients who received DEX had a lower incidence of itching (odds ratio [OR]: 2.86, 95% CI [1.18, 6.95], P = 0.020, I2 = 0%) and nausea and vomiting (OR: 6.83, 95% CI [3.63, 12.84], P < 0.001, I2 = 24%). In labor analgesia, no significant differences in neonatal (pH and PaO2 of cord blood, fetal heart rate) or maternal outcomes (duration of labor stage, mode of delivery) were found between the DEX and opioid groups. Conclusions Compared with opioids, using DEX as a local anesthetic adjuvant in PCEA improved postoperative analgesia and reduced the incidence of itching and nausea and vomiting without increasing the incidence of adverse events.

Periodontitis is an inflammatory disease caused by bacterial infection directly, and the dysregulation of host immune-inflammatory response finally destroys periodontal tissues. Current treatment strategies for periodontitis mainly involve mechanical scaling/root planing (SRP), surgical procedures, and systemic or localized delivery of antimicrobial agents. However, SRP or surgical treatment alone has unsatisfactory long-term effects and is easy to relapse. In addition, the existing drugs for local periodontal therapy do not stay in the periodontal pocket long enough and have difficulties in maintaining a steady, effective concentration to obtain a therapeutic effect, and continuous administration always causes drug resistance. Many recent studies have shown that adding bio-functional materials and drug delivery systems upregulates the therapeutic effectiveness of periodontitis. This review focuses on the role of biomaterials in periodontitis treatment and presents an overview of antibacterial therapy, host modulatory therapy, periodontal regeneration, and multifunctional regulation of periodontitis therapy. Biomaterials provide advanced approaches for periodontal therapy, and it is foreseeable that further understanding and applications of biomaterials will promote the development of periodontal therapy.

Patients with lung cancer at the same stage may have markedly different overall outcome and a lack of specific biomarker to predict lung cancer outcome. Heat-shock protein 90 β (HSP90β) is overexpressed in various tumor cells. In this study, the ELISA results of HSP90β combined with CEA, CA125, and CYFRA21-1 were used to construct a recursive partitioning decision tree model to establish a four-protein diagnostic model and predict the survival of patients with lung cancer. Survival analysis showed that the recursive partitioning decision tree could distinguish the prognosis between high- and low-risk groups. Results suggested that the joint detection of HSP90β, CEA, CA125, and CYFRA21-1 in the peripheral blood of patients with lung cancer is plausible for early diagnosis and prognosis prediction of lung cancer.

OBJECTIVE：To study the improvement effect and possible mechanism of Leontopodium leontopodioides combined with Astragalus membranaceus on the renal function of mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis （MsPGN） model rats. METHODS：Totally 85 rats were randomly divided into sham operation group （n＝10）and modeling group （n＝75）. Sham operation group underwent sham operation ，and MsPGN model was induced by immunological method [Freund ’s adjuvant+BSA + lipopolysaccharide（LPS）] in modeling group. After successfully modeling ，70 rats were randomly divided into model group ，L. leontopodioides+A. membranaceus high-dose，medium-dose and low-dose groups （4.05，2.03，1.02 g/kg，by total crude drug ），L. leontopodioides alone group （2.70 g/kg，by crude drug ），Tripterygium glycosides tablet group （positive control 1，0.02 g/kg）， Lotensin tablet group （positive control 2，0.02 g/kg），with 10 rats in each group. Sham operation group and model group were given constant volume of normal saline intragastrically ； administration groups were given relevant drug solution intrasgastrcially at a volume of 15 mL/kg，once a day ，for consecutive 5 weeks. At last administration ，24 h urinary lnzyxyqy2003@163.com protein，urine creatinine and serum creatinine were determined in rats. The right kidney was weighed ，and HE staining was used to observe the pathomorpholog y changes of renal tissue. Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the protein expression of NF-κB p65 in renal tissue. Western blotting assay was used to determine the protein expressions of NF-κB p65，IκBα，ERK，p-ERK and p 38 MAPK in renal tissue. RESULTS ：Compared with sham operation group ，right kidney weight ，24 h urine protein and serum creatinine levels ，protein expressions of NF-κB p65， p-ERK and p 38 MAPK in renal tissue were increased significantly in model group （P＜0.05 or P＜0.01）；the level of urine creatinine and protein expression of IκBα in renal tissue were decreased significantly（P＜0.05 or P＜0.01）；there were obvious glomerular hypertrophy ，diffuse increase of mesangial cells ，necrosis of renal tubules and other pathomorphological changes in renal tissue. Compared with model group ，right kidney weight and serum creatinine level were decreased significantly in L. leontopodioides alone group （P＜0.05），while urine creatinine level was increased significantly （P＜0.05），but there was no statistical significance in the level of 24 h urine protein （P＞0.05）；the right kidney weight ，24 h urine protein ，serum creatinine level and protein expression levels of NF-κB p65，p-ERK and p38 MAPK in renal tissue were decreased significantly in L. leontopodioides+A. membranaceus high-dose group （P＜0.05），while the urine creatinine level and protein expression level of IκBα in renal tissue were increased significantly （P＜0.05 or P＜0.01）；there was no statistical significance in above indexes in L. leontopodioides+A. membranaceus medium-dose，low-dose groups （P＞0.05）；pathological changes of renal tissue were improved to different extents in administration groups ，especially in L. leontopodioides +A. membranaceus high-dose group. CONCLUSIONS ： High dose of L. leontopodioides +A. membranaceus can improve renal function of MsPGN model rats by inhibiting MAPK/NF-κB signal pathway.

Background: Phototherapy is an important method to treatvitiligo. However, it is unclear how phototherapy affectsmelanocyte precursors and skin neural crest stem cells. Objective: To investigate the underlying mechanisms of narrow-band ultraviolet B (NB-UVB) induced melanocyte lineagedifferentiated from human scalp-derived neural creststem cells (HS-NCSCs). Methods: HS-NCSCs were expandedfrom scalp hair follicles. The c-Kit−/CD57− HS-NCSCs wereisolated by cell sorting. Different doses of NB-UVB wereused to irradiate these HS-NCSCs. Cell ultrastructure was examinedby transmission electron microscope. Melanocytemarker expression was analyzed by Quantitative RT-PCRand Western blot. Cell proliferation and migration were alsoevaluated. Results: The c-Kit−/CD57− HS-NCSCs expressedembryonic NCSC biomarkers. NB-UVB at a dose of 100 mJof NB-UVB had little effect on the cell proliferation of differentiatedmelanocytes from c-Kit−/CD57− HS-NCSCs, while700 mJ inhibited cell proliferation significantly. The dendriticprocesses of differentiated melanocytes increased afterradiation. The tyrosinase and Melanocortin 1 receptor (Mc1R)expression of differentiated melanocytes increased after NB-UVB exposure. The effect of NB-UVB on tyrosinase expressionwas modulated by signaling inhibitors H89 andPD98059 as well as Mc1R level in the cells. The migrationability of differentiated melanocytes was enhanced under100 mJ exposure. Conclusion These data demonstrate thatNB-UVB facilitates melanocytic differentiation of the HSNCSCsand enhances migration of these cells. Mc1R andcAMP pathway play a critical role in NB-UVB induced melanocyticdifferentiation.
