ObjectiveTo explore the training path of rehabilitation therapy professionals in local colleges and universities under the background of New Medicine. MethodsTaking Jining Medical University as an example, combining the interdisciplinary integration, intelligent driving and people-oriented New Medicine attributes of rehabilitation therapy, this study focused on the current practical problems in rehabilitation education, accurately aligned with the requirements of new medicine construction, reshaped the curriculum system with new concepts, empowered practical innovation with new technologies, and cultivated humanistic literacy with new connotations. By deeply integrating digital construction with educational practice, it carried out the construction and practice of the New Medicine talent training model in rehabilitation therapy, helping students form a stereoscopic knowledge structure, possess the ability to apply intelligent rehabilitation technology and solve complex rehabilitation problems, and become high-quality rehabilitation therapy talents with both morality and ability. ResultsThe overall construction of the rehabilitation therapy major established a model of Dual fusion foundation, Three element empowerment and Three dimensional soul casting, including reform and innovation in curriculum system, practical mode and moral education mechanism. It has formed a health oriented "vertical and horizontal integration-discipline fusion" dual-fusion stereoscopic curriculum system, an intelligent led "theory and practice-science and education-industry and education" three element integration practical mode, and a confucian medical culture "curriculum-practice-evaluation" three-dimensional integrated moral education mechanism. Through practical testing, this model achieved significant results and was widely recognized, including a significant improvement in the quality of talent cultivation, prominent achievements in resource construction, and prominent achievements in health services, providing strong support for the construction of regional rehabilitation medical systems. ConclusionThe reform of the rehabilitation treatment talent training model at Jining Medical University under the background of New Medicine provides a replicable and promotable practical paradigm for the training of rehabilitation talents in similar universities through reshaping the curriculum system, strengthening practical innovation, and cultivating humanistic literacy.

G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) are significant drug targets, but their potential in cancer therapy remains underexplored. Conventional GPCR agonists or antagonists have shown limited effectiveness in cancer treatment, necessitating new GPCR-targeting strategies for more effective therapies. This study discovers that Yersinia pestis LcrV, a crucial linker protein for plague infection, acts as a biased agonist of a GPCR, the formyl peptide receptor 1 (FPR1). The LcrV protein induces unique conformational changes in FPR1, resulting in G proteins being activated in a distinctive state without subunit dissociation. This leads to a biased signaling profile characterized by cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) responses and β-arrestin2 recruitment, but not calcium mobilization. In FPR1-expressing triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) cells, LcrV bi-directionally modulates intracellular signaling pathways, downregulating extracellular signal-regulated kinases (ERK1/2) and Akt pathways while upregulating Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK) and p38 pathways. This dual modulation results in cell cycle arrest and the inhibition of TNBC cell proliferation. In TNBC xenograft mouse models, long-term LcrV treatment inhibits tumor growth more effectively than a conventional FPR1 antagonist. Additionally, LcrV treatment reprograms tumor cells by reducing stemness-associated proteins OCT4 and c-MYC. Our findings highlight the potential of biased GPCR agonists as a novel GPCR-targeting strategy for cancer treatment.

Objective:To analyze the status quo of intelligent health management services in health examination institutions in Shanxi Province. Methods:This study is a cross-sectional study. In October 2023, 292 health examination institutions in 11 cities of Shanxi Province were surveyed by convenient sampling with the help of “Questionnaire star” to investigate the health examination (management) institutions to carry out smart health management services from January to December 2022. It was mainly divided into three aspects: pre-inspection, in-inspection and post-inspection, including 6 dimensions, with a total of 21 items. A total of 300 questionnaires were distributed in this survey, and 292 were effectively collected, with an effective recovery rate of 97.33%. The 292 questionnaires were divided and compared according to four regions: the north of Shanxi Province, the middle of Shanxi Province, the south of Shanxi Province and the southeast of Shanxi Province. Results:The health examination (management) institutions were distributed in 11 prefectures and cities in Shanxi Province, and there were 56 (19.2%) tertiary health examination (management) institutions. There were 178 government organizations (61.0%) and 114 social organizations (39.0%). There were 256 (87.7%) that carried out smart health management services; among them, 229 (78.4%) had smart management service systems, and 58 (19.9%) had physical examination centers with smart health management clinics. A total of 108 institutions (36.99%) carried out follow-up visits after intelligent screening. The prevalence of intelligent referrals were 63.3%, 59.6%, 78.0% and 85.2% in the north of Shanxi Province, the middle of Shanxi Province, the south of Shanxi Province and the southeast of Shanxi Province, respectively ( χ2=14.02, P<0.05). The prevalence of self-service in the north of Shanxi Province, the middle of Shanxi Province, the south of Shanxi Province and the southeast of Shanxi Province were 39.2%, 52.3%, 62.0% and 37.0%, respectively ( χ2=9.75, P<0.05). Conclusions:The development of intelligent health management in health examination (management) institutions in Shanxi Province is good, and the service scale continues to grow, but the problem of uneven development among regions is severe. In addition, the proportion of institutions providing services through information technology is not high, and the rate of intelligent management outpatient service, intelligent post-examination follow-up and intelligent physical examination service satisfaction is low.

Objective:To establish a quick and convenient method for detecting human adenoviruses (Human adenoviruses, HAdV) based on immunochromatographic assay (ICA).Methods:Two antibody clones, 3C11 and 7E6 were found to bind to all tested HAdVs and then subsequently processed into ICA. The specificity and sensitivity were evaluated using representative strains of the respiratory HAdV types, including HAdV-1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10 and a gastroenteric type HAdV-41 together with the original throat swabs of 10 HAdV patients confirmed by nuclear acid testing (NAT).Results:The ICA exhibited high specificity to HAdVs and its detection limitation ranged from 0.16 to 10 3 half tissue culture infectious dose (TCID 50)/ml for different types of HAdVs. All clinic samples with successful virus isolation tested by this ICA showed positive result . Conclusions:The ICA developed in the present study will be suitable for HAdVs screening in clinic setting, especially for those of respiratory types.
