Objective To investigate anxiety-and depression-like behaviors in Cynomolgus monkeys with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM),and to explore their correlations with biochemical parameters.Methods Cynomolgus monkeys were divided into a T2DM group(fasting plasma glucose(FPG)≥ 5.6 mmol/L)and control group(FPG＜4.2 mmol/L)(n=3 per group).Age,sex,body mass,body mass index(BMI),FPG,blood lipids,atherosclerosis index(AI),and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)levels were measured in both groups.Anxiety-like behaviors were assessed using the human intrude test(HIT)and depression-like behaviors were evaluated using the apathy feeding test(AFT).Relationships between behavioral parameters and biochemical/inflammatory markers were evaluated using Pearson's correlation analysis.Results(1)FPG,AI,and TNF-αlevels were significantly elevated while high-density lipoprotein cholesterol levels were reduced in the T2DM group compared with the control group(P＜0.05).(2)Regarding the HIT result,the durations of anxious(stare phase)and back-of-cage(stare phase)behaviors were higher in the T2DM group than in the control group(P＜0.05),while the durations of locomotor behaviors(baseline phase,profile phase,back phase)were significantly shorter(P＜0.05).(3)The AFT revealed that food retrieval latency was significantly delayed in the T2DM group(P＜0.05).Pearson's analysis identified a positive correlation between back-of-cage(stare phase)duration and AI(r=0.828,P=0.042),while locomotion during the back phase showed a negative corr-elation with AI(r=-0.842,P=0.035).Conclusions Cynomolgus monkeys with T2DM display distinct anxiety-and depression-like behavioral phenotypes,with a significant association between the AI and anxiety-related behaviors.These findings provide novel insights into the pathophysiological mechanisms linking T2DM with neuropsychiatric comorbidities.

Objective To analyze the employment situation of graduates majoring in nutrition and provide employment guidance and reference for them. Methods Materials about 172 graduates of 2013 to 2015 were collected from relevant departments. The software of Excel was used for data processing and SPSS 19.0 was used for data statistics. The crosstabs with chi-square was used for statistic test. Results The overall employment rate was 66.3% (114/172), which was 82.9% (58/70), 56.9% (33/58) and 52.3% (23/44) respectively from 2013 to 2015. There was no statistical difference among different genders ( χ2=1.05, P=0.30) and residence registration types ( χ2=1.06, P=0.30). Graduates who are a member of the Communist Party got a statistical higher employment rate than those who are not (χ2=8.75, P=0.01). Most graduates chose to work in the medical units or to further their study with the proportion of 47.4% (54/114) and 26.3% (30/114) respectively This was especially common for the 2015 graduates. 60.9% of them chose to work in the medical units. And those who chose to work in the urban areas of the city accounted for 64.9%. Conclusion Compared with the employment rates of other majors in the same medical university, the rate of the nutrition graduates was lower. The concerted efforts are needed from the society, the university and the graduates themselves.

Objective To explore the predictive value of Tei index and plasma brain natriuretic peptide(BNP) on major adverse cardiovascular events(MACE) during long term follow up in the patients with anteriormyocardial infarction(MI).Methods A total of 238 patients with anterior MI were selected and divided into four groups according to the median of Tei index and BNP:G1 group(Tei≤0.66,BNP≤532.60 ng/mL,n=70),G2 group(Tei≤0.66,BNP＞532.60 ng/mL,n=51),G3 group(Tei＞0.66,BNP≤532.60 ng/mL,n=50) and G4 group(Tei＞0.66,BNP＞532.60 ng/mL,n=67).The follow up end was the MACE occurrence.Results There was a significant positive correlation between the Tei index and BNP(r=0.582,P=0.000).Tei entered the BNP regression equation(β=0.658,P＜0.05).The MACE-free survival rate had no statistical difference among 4 groups(x2 =9.975,P=0.019).The Cox regression analysis showed that Tei index and BNP were the independent predictive factors for MACE.Tei combined with BNP had stronger predictive value to MACE(AUC=0.781,95CI:0.721-0.841,P=0.000),its sensitivity was 72.52％ and specificity was 76.89％.Conclusion Tei combined with BNP has stronger predictive value for anterior MI during long term follow up.

Motor dysfunction is the main clinical symptom and diagnosis basis of patients with Parkinson's disease (PD). A total of 30 subjects were recruited in this study, including 15 PD patients (PD group) and 15 healthy subjects (control group). Then 5 wearable inertial sensor nodes were worn on the bilateral upper limbs, lower limbs and waist of subjects. When completing the 6 paradigm tasks, the acceleration and angular velocity signals from different parts of the body were acquired and analyzed to obtain 20 quantitative parameters which contain information about the amplitude, frequency, and fatigue degree of movements to assess the motor function. The clinical data of the two groups were statistically analyzed and compared, and then Back Propagation (BP) Neural Network was used to classify the two groups and predict the clinical score. The final results showed that most of the parameters had significant difference between the two groups, ten times of 5-fold cross validation showed that the classification accuracy of the BP Neural Network for the two groups was 90%, and the predictive accuracy of Hoehn-Yahr (H-Y) staging and unified PD rating scale (UPDRS) Ⅲ score of the patients were 72.80% and 68.64%, respectively. This study shows the feasibility of quantitative assessment of motor function in PD patients using wearable sensors, and the quantitative parameters obtained in this paper may have reference value for future related research.

Objective To investigate the differences of pre-hospital delay time in acute ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI)between the advanced age group(>75 years old)and control group(≤75 years old).Methods Four hundreds patients with STEMI in the cardiology and emergency departments of the First Affiliated Hospital and Affiliated Luoyang Central Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2013 to March 2015 were selected and divided into two groups according to the age,the ad-vanced age group (>75 years old)and control group(≤75 years old).The patients′data were inquired and recorded for conducting the statistical analysis.Results The proportion of pre-hospital delay time < 6 h in the advanced age group was significantly lower than that in the control group and the time for conducting coronary angiography was longer than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P <0.05).The mortality rates of intra-hospital,on 30 d and half a year after discharge in the advanced age group were higher than those in the control group,the differences between the two groups were statistically signif-icant (P <0.05).Conclusion The advanced age patients receiving active therapy are relatively less,which is mainly due to the wor-ry on the age related adverse reactions.

Objective: To study the relationship between insulin resistance (IR) and coronary collateral circulation in patients with impaired glucose tolerance (IGT). Methods: A total of 227 patients with coronary angiography (CAG) were studied. There were 131 patients with male gender and the average patient’s age was (53.2 ± 11.0) years. IR (HOMA2-IR) index was measured by HOMA2 method, the severity level of coronary stenosis was assessed by Gensini scoring system, collateral circulation condition was determined by Rentrop classiifcation. 187 IGT patients were divided into 4 groups: Rentrop 0 group,n=55, Rentrop 1 group,n=42, Rentrop 2 group,n=39 and Rentrop 3 group,n=51; in addition, Control group,n=40 patients with normal glucose tolerance and coronary stenosis<50%. Results: Compared with Control group, all patients in 4 Rentrop groups had increased 2h-PBG, HbA1c, HOMA2-IR and Gensini score, while decreased fasting insulin (FINS), allP<0.05. Compared with Rentrop 3 group and Rentrop 2 group, the patients in Rentrop 1 group and Rentrop 0 group had elevated 2h-PBG, HbA1c, HOMA2-IR and Gensini score, while Rentrop 0 group had reduced FINS, allP<0.05. Multivariable regression analysis showed that HOMA2-IR index (R=0.518,P<0.05), HbA1c (R=1.916, P<0.05), 2h-PBG (R=2.130,P<0.05) and FINS (R=1.547,P<0.05) might be related to the severity of coronary stenosis. Binary regression analysis indicated that poor collateral circulation (the patients in Rentrop 0 group and Rentrop 1 group) was related to HOMA2-IR index (OR=1.679, 95% CI 1.101-2.558,P=0.016). Conclusion: HOMA2-IR index could be signiifcantly higher in patients with IGT combining chronic coronary occlusion. IR was the independent risk factor for the severity of coronary stenosis and coronary collateral formation.

Objective To investigate the disease medical management behavior patients who discharged from hospital after coronary artery bypass graft(CABG).Methods During June 2013 to March 2014,a total of 110 patients after CABG in Changhai Hospital Affiliated to Second Military Medical University were recruited to fill questionnaire,and the results were analysed.Results The average score of 110 patients of disease medical management behavior was 40.57±5.13,the total score index was 54.09％.In the four dimensions of disease medical management,treatment adherence was the worst which scored 8.19±1.28,and scoring index was 54.60％.Disease knowledge management was the best implementation which scored 13.83±2.05,and scoring index was 52.00％.Gender,education,medical treatment charge of payment and complication were the influence factors of disease medical management behavior.Conclusions Medical staff should adopt different self-management intervention strategy,according to different patients and self management content.

Pathological neural activity in subthalamic nucleus (STN) is closely related to the symptoms of Parkinson' s disease. Local field potentials (LFPs) recordings from subthalamic nucleus show that power spectral peaks exist at tremor, double tremor and tripble tremor frequencies, respectively. The interaction between these components in the multi-frequency tremor may be related to the generation of tremor. To study the linear and nonlinear relationship between those components, we analyzed STN LFPs from 9 Parkinson's disease patients using time frequency, cross correlation, Granger casuality and bi-spectral analysis. Results of the time-frequency analysis and cross-frequency correlation analysis demonstrated that the power density of those components significantly decreased as the alleviation of tremor and cross-correlation (0.18-0.50) exists during tremor period. Granger causality of the time-variant amplitude showed stronger contribution from tremor to double tremor components, and contributions from both tremor and double tremor components to triple tremor component. Quadratic phase couplings among these three components were detected by the bispectral approaches. The linear and nonlinear relationships existed among the multi-components and certainly confirmed that the dependence cross those frequencies and neurological mechanism of tremor involved complicate neural processes.

Objective To investigate the clinical significance of irregular antibody screening positive patients in the blood transfusion.Methods From September 2003 to September 2012,5 260 samples of blood test were given pre-transfusion irregular antibody detection,and the patients with positive antibody screening were statistically analyzed.Results Of 5 260 samples,38 cases (6.8％) had irregular antibodies,the difference between males and females was statistically significant(x2 =2.646,P ＜ 0.05).The Rh blood group had the highest proportion in irregular antibodies;pregnancy history and history of blood transfusion group,pregnancy history group,history of blood transfusion group were significantly higher than those without history of pregnancy and transfusion history groups,the difference was statistically significant (x2 =28.827,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Screening of irregular antibodies plays an important role in the safety of clinical blood transfusion.
