1.Effect and complications of CT-guided radiofrequency thermocoagulation through foramen ovale approach in the treatment of maxillary neuralgia of cranial nerve V

Objective To explore the effect and complications of CT-guided radiofrequency thermocoagulation(RFTC)through foramen ovale approach in the treatment of maxillary neuralgia of cranial nerve V(CNV).Methods A total of 100 patients with maxillary neuralgia of CNV were retrospectively selected.According to different treatment method,they were divided into A group(48 cases,CT-guided RFTC through foramen ovale approach)and B group(52 cases,RFTC through maxillary nerve of pterygopalatine fossa approach).The imaging findings of CT-guided RFTC through foramen ovale approach were observed.The hospitalization time and operation time,visual analogue scale(VAS)scores and patients satisfaction score(PSS)before and after surgery,as well as occurrence of complications during RFTC were compared between the two groups.Results There were no significant differences in hospitalization and operation time between the two groups(P>0.05).At 1 d and 1 month after surgery,VAS scores in A group were lower than those in B group(P<0.05).At 1 month after surgery,PSS in A group was higher than that in B group(P<0.05).During RFTC,there was no significant difference in incidence of complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion CT-guided RFTC through foramen ovale approach is comparable to RFTC through maxillary nerve of pterygopalatine fossa approach in terms of operation time,hospitalization time and incidence of complications in patients with maxillary neuralgia of CNV.The former can alleviate maxillary neuralgia of CNV and improve patients satisfaction.
2. Prognostic analysis of colon and rectal neuroendocrine neoplasm in different stages

Objective:
To explore the survival difference of patients with colon and rectal neuroendocrine neoplasm (NEN) at different stages.
Methods:
We identified 8 679 patients with colorectal NEN diagnosed between 1988 and 2014 from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) registry, including 5 437 rectal NEN and 3 242 colon NEN ( 1 681 cecum NEN ). Survival curve was drawn by Kaplan-Meier method. Prognostic factors were analyzed by univariate analysis and multivariate Cox regression model.
