Objective To investigate the expression levels of serum fibronectin(FN)in patients with non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)and evaluate its clinical diagnostic significance. Methods Firstly, the gene and tissue protein expression levels of FN in NSCLC were assessed using the TIMER2.0 database,GTEx database, and Human Protein Atlas(HPA)database.Secondly, from January 2021 to June 2023,a total of 154 patients with lung space-occupying lesions or shadows at the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine were enrolled.Based on medical history, clinical manifestations, imaging tests, and pathological histological find-ings,these patients were categorized into two groups:81 patients with NSCLC and 73 patients with benign lung diseases. The serum concentration of FN was measured by immunoturbidimetry, while the serum levels of CEA,SCC,and CYFRA21-1 were determined using chemiluminescence. Results The bioinformatics analysis results demonstrated that the gene expression and tissue protein levels of FN were significantly reduced compared to normal tissues. In serological evaluations, serum FN concentrations in patients with advanced NSCLC(Stage Ⅲ-Ⅳ)and early-stage NSCLC(Stage Ⅰ-Ⅱ)(249.50 ng/mL and 305.00 ng/mL,respectively)were markedly lower than those observed in the benign lung disease group(429.16 ng/mL)(P<0.001).Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses indicated that serum FN could serve as a significant predictor for the presence of NSCLC.The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)for serum FN in diagnosing early-stage NSCLC was 0.790,which outperformed CEA(0.618),SCC(0.653),and CYFRA21-1(0.601).The optimal critical concen-tration of serum FN for distinguishing early-stage NSCLC from benign diseases was determined to be 347.6 ng/mL,with a sensitivity of 71.93%,surpassing that of CEA(19.30%),SCC(12.28%),and CYFRA21-1(8.77%).Conclusion Serum FN is significantly downregulated in NSCLC and may serve as a potential biomarker for the early diagnosis of NSCLC.

Myopia is a common ophthalmic disease that endangers the health of eyes all over the world. The incidence rate of myopia is high in China. Myopia has become the most prominent problem affecting the health of young people's eyes. Myopia prevention and control work has become urgent. Periretinal hyperopia defocusing is one of the main causes of myopia, and the defocusing soft lenses involved based on this principle have played a good role in myopia prevention and control. This article summarizes the working principle of defocusing soft lenses for controlling myopia and its impact on corneal and visual function, and evaluates the prevention and control effect of defocusing soft lenses on myopia based on current research.

Objective To investigate the effect of active abdominal compression-decompression cardiopulmonary resuscitation (AACD-CPR) in patients with pre-hospital respiratory and cardiac arrest. Methods Forty-five patients with respiratory and cardiac arrest, and with contraindication of chest compression admitted to Baiyin Central Hospital of Gansu Province from March 2012 to September 2018 were enrolled, and they were divided into two groups according to random number table.AACD-CPR (abdominal compression-decompression group,n =24) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) with unarmed abdominal compression (unarmed abdominal pressure group,n =21) were performed respectively. The success rate of rescue was observed in the two groups, and the changes in heart rate (HR),pulse oxygen saturation (SpO2) and blood pressure 30 minutes after CPR in patients with restoration of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) were observed. Results Among the 24 patients in the abdominal compression-decompression group,5 patients (20.83%) had ROSC,and 2 patients (9.52%) had ROSC in 21 patients of the unarmed abdominal pressure group. The success rate of resuscitation in the abdominal compression-decompression group was significantly higher than that in the unarmed abdominal pressure group (P < 0.05).HR of ROSC patients at 30 minutes of CPR in abdominal compression-decompression group was significantly lower than that in unarmed abdominal compression group (bpm:139.45±5.08 vs.147.62±5.24,P < 0.05),and SpO2 and blood pressure were significantly higher than those in unarmed abdominal compression group with significant differences [SpO2:0.92 ± 0.03 vs.0.85 ± 0.03,systolic blood pressure (SBP,mmHg,1 mmHg =0.133 kPa):118.23 ± 3.26 vs.98.51 ± 3.10,diastolic blood pressure (DBP,mmHg):60.10 ± 2.50 vs.56.36 ± 2.45,all P < 0.05].Conclusion The effect of AACD-CPR was superior to that of unarmed abdominal pressure CPR,which had higher application value to rescue patients with respiratory and cardiac arrest with chest pressure contraindication.

18 F-FDG PET-CT has been widely used for the diagnosis, staging and assessment of therapeutic response in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).In particular, the technique plays an important role in the prediction of the response to therapy in patients with locally advanced NSCLC.It can dynamically observe the tumor tissue metabolism, and according to the changes of 18 F-FDG uptake by visual or quantitative analysis, before and after treatment, allow prediction of the early efficacy of locally advanced NSCLC with chemotherapy and (or) radiotherapy in clinical or sub-clinical levels.

Objective To study the outcome of distal third clavicular fracture treated with AO clavicular hook plate. Methods From May 2001 to May 2003, 14 cases of fresh distal third clavicular fracture (Neer typeⅡ) were treated with AO clavicular hook plate in our hospital. Results All the cases obtained satisfactory results. No infection, nonunion, ineffective internal fixation, or loosening or breakage of the plate occurred. Conclusion The treatment of distal third clavicular fracture with AO clavicular hook plate is an effective surgical method.
